(I like rolling dice, but that's just because I'm filthy DnD junky) Blue takes a second to scowl at Caramel, pointing at the crossbow he had been issued.

Caramel scowls back before he sheaths his sword before drawing his crossbow. "Bucking bullshit" Caramel mutters before entering the forest. " Why am I using a crossbow in a forest?!" He yells out.

 

[Balancer]

"Because most models of crossbow will punch through unenchanted plate at these ranges." Blue states as he holds his sword and crossbow aloft. "Especially with the standard issue steel bolts Celestia see's fit to give us."

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"Celestia? We're funded by Twilight, and our standard issue is andamite. You probably just get steel because you are an ex solar. " Caramel fails to notice a vine moving by his head

 

[Balancer]

The vine lashes out as Blue yells out a warning (choose a yell)

 

[Balancer]

"Get down!" Blue yells as he flicks his sword out at the vine.

Caramel swings his crossbow around and shoots the vine, but the vine continues unimpeded with the bolt sticking out. The vine loops around his ankle before lifting him into the air. A large wasp like creature stings his leg. Caramel screams in pain as his veins bulge and turn black, revealing them through j his fur. Caramel barely avoids a second was as he draws his sword, cutting himself free. Caramel continues yelling in pain as the venom spreads through his body. More wasps approach.

(Sorry it's either better writing, or a decent reply speed, so until I'm on a computer don't expect story quality descriptions)

 

[Balancer]

Throwing up a shield as he slides over to Caramel Blue examines the sting, the puffy black flesh around the site drawing his lips into a line. "Hold still." Blue says as he wraps a thin ring of force around the leg like a tourniquet as he begins to stimulate the muscles with his telekinesis. "That should keep the rest of the leg safe."

Caramel finally stops screaming as the nerves in his leg begin to die off.


The wasps begin to attack the shield, and several fly off towards the pegasai. They can hold their own, but will the shield hold?


Shieldstrength roll


(Same dice, but +20)


1-30 bad. Caramel is hit, as well as Blue before pegasai rescue them. Shield sends magical feed back into Blue disabling him and ending the mission.


31-60. Shield breaks, but Blue can protect him and Caramel. -10 on next role.


61-100. Shield holds, no penalty.

Concentrating as pinpoint bolts rip the canopy above asunder as the Pegasus begin to kill the wasps, Blue holds the shield up with little trouble. Standing guard as he shoots out at the wasps, Blue spares a glance over to Caramel. "Stay with me kid, I'm not going to let you go that easy." He says, teeth clenched as the strain of multitasking weighs on him.

The wasps were p quickly dispatched. One of the pegasus flies down. "We need to get him to back to the ship, none of us are qualified to treat this sir."

 

[Balancer]

Blue nods, looking up at the canopy before tearing a hole in it. "Can the two of you get him there?"" Blue asks, looking around for more signs of trouble.

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"Yes sir, do you want us to send reinforcements?"

 

[Balancer]

"Please, something is not right here, Fly safe." "Blue says, pumping a bit more power into the tourniquet, tying off the energy as he begins to head deeper into the forest.

Blue is attacked by a swarm of wasps. He is hit by a vine injuring his hind leg.
