"Umm, what?" Sky asks confused

 

[Balancer]

"Run by an old earth pony, more grizzled than old leather boot?"

 

[Arackn]

"Stuff. So, you know what we will do in this mission? It looks like it's top secret and all. Since you are a scientist, they might have told you what was going on." Raging sat down on the floor, looking at Sky expectantly.

"Nope, some suit who only came to collect money, mainly just let the mares run the place" He laughed @Balancer

Sky grins "It involves a really big boom"

 

[Balancer]

"Then no, I guess I haven't." Blue says with a chuckle.

@Balancer Well I'm going to catch some shut eye "Caramel before rolling over and promptly passing out.


The intercom comes over the room "Will sergeant Blue please report to the main deck. Please bring your equipment as well.

 

[Balancer]

Blue slowly stands and stretches before making his way to the main deck. "What's the emergency?"

 

[Arackn]

(I'm going to eat)


"A really big boom? Nice, I'm sure I will love this mission."

"If it was an emergancy people would be moving a lot faster. anyways the town below us just sent out an SoS and we have time to spare, so I was wondering if are willing to take some soldiers down there to find out whats going on" The captain said casually. "It's not an official mission, but I figured you would want to help them"

"Anyway, I'm off, if you want to talk or just want help for something, come to me. I like you, you are fun." said Raging before walking away towards the barracks.

 

[Balancer]

Blue raises an eyebrow. "Are these people Equstrian's?"

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"It's an equestrian town" The captain says as he walks over to bow window. He looks forward out into the forest where there is a plume of smoke.

 

[Balancer]

Blue snorts as he turns around, checking his belt as he goes to gather volunteers. "Then why'd you bother asking? Take me down."

 

[Pleaseworkforonce]

"We can have a chariot take you and your team down when you are ready" (You can choose both of the named npcs and unnamed npc's you make up. I will be in control of them, but you will be commanding officer)

 

[Balancer]

(Sweet, I'll take Carmel and a pair of nameless goons) "Thanks." Blue says as he steps back into the bowls of the ship. Making his way to his barracks he makes a stop at one of the gyms, pointing at two of the more competent soldiers int he room. A pair of Pegasus mares, one red the other bright green, looked up at him as he ordered them to gear up and meet him in the chariot bay.


A short jog later he barges into the shared quarters. "Gear up kid, mission just in."

Caramel jerks awake at his rude awakening "Huh? Mission?" Caramel kicked into autorun and quickly gathered his gear and began to walk out the door.

 

[Balancer]

"How's your aim with a crossbow?" Blue asks as he jogs down to the chariot bay where the pair of mare's, full armored in reinforced leather with a set of repeating crossbows across their backs, waited by the sides of the chariot as the pullers shot him a salute.

"Never fired one before sir" Caramel says as he runs up.


Meanwhile at donkeyvile (Names are hard shutup) the towns donkey residents run about in a panic. It seemed that every moment there were far more monsters than before. A group of donkeys have taken refuge in the town inn along with several ponies and a zebra.

 

[Balancer]

As he mounts up in the chariot Blue raises and eye brow, the mare's on either side copying him as they all look at Caramel like he'd grown a second head. "I though you went through basic, last time I checked they at least teach you which end to point at the enemy." He says as a shudder runs through the frame and the metal craft is launched out into the sky, the mares trailing not far behind. Crossbows at the ready.

Blacksmiths don't go through basic. We're not even suppose to be fighters, I'm just an exception." Caramel says as he stares over the ledge.

 

[Balancer]

"Right." Blue mutters as he unhooks a spare light crossbow from the chariot railing, passing to the earth pony. "Squeeze the handle to shoot, pull back in the metal bit to reload. That pea shooter wont pierce most metal armor and will get stuck in most hide's and armor so try to aim for the squishy bits best you can. Me and the ladies will be covering you, so don't worry."

Carmael places the crossbow against his shoulder. awkardly he tries to aim over the side. Groaning he set the crossbow down and glances at his great sword "Don't suppose I can't just use my sword?"

 

[Balancer]

"Kid if you want to even think about living to old age, learn to shoot. There are things our there that are faster, stronger and meaner than you or I. Things, that unlike us, are built for close quaters combat. Truth is 9/10 times a griffon is more than match for a pony in claw to hoof fighting. Firepower is the great equalizer, whenever you can take the opportunity to shoot your foe." Blue says as he preps his monster of a crossbow. "I've had years of fighting experience to learn how to punch above my weight and I have magic to level the playing field. You don't have either. Here's how we're going to do things, the ladies will cover us from up above while I take point and you watch my back. Clear?"

"Alright, but don't expect much help from me unless the enemy moves in close" Caramel says shaking his head.


The chariot nears the landing pad. At this point the Donkeys have stopped fleeing and are walking around town. (Completely off topic, but I just remembered we have a zombie rp)
