Syphe
Silent Nomad
Originally, Sera made a quick dash to close some distance between her and Jackson. Having an ally to her back made things marginally less fatal, however with all that's going on, it seemed that was not plausible. After taking down one foe, Sera couldn't get off more than a couple steps before she felt like she was half-sliding. Was the floor beginning to freeze over?
At this point, the entrance wasn't directly blocked by the girl anymore. Inside the building, the fight was picking up, so it was best she didn't linger too long. She made for the door, before realizing that her bag was still behind the counter! Stumbling to recover herself after a sharp double-back, she climbed over, grabbed her bag and whispered roughly at the bartender to get out of the bar as fast as he could. Helping him up, she half-dragged and ushered him into what seemed to be the door behind the bar. She kicked it open and pushed him in there, hoping he'd be safe from the fight.
Sera shut the door and observed the situation. Was it her imagination or did there seem to be more and more people suddenly appearing to join the fight? Off to the side stood a man who seemed to be watching the fight with... his son, maybe? Another hooded figure sat at the edges as well, almost as if paying no heed to what was currently happening. Despite knowing that now was not the time to speculate about things she didn't know about, she couldn't help but wonder why they seemed to be so unworried. They must not be regular humans if that's the case.
Her thoughts were shattered by a yelling for all to get down. Instinctively, Sera dropped down the moment she heard the call. Covering her head, she braced herself for impact.. that never came. However a loud clang that made her ears ring, followed by the sound of metal on wood. She heard Jackson speak afterwards. Thinking it's relatively safe now, she poked her head out from over the counter. A decent portion of the bar -- the majority of the front -- was now significantly damaged or completely destroyed. She needed to get out fast or else risk injury. If she was hurt, she wouldn't be able to efficiently help those that were injured in the fight.
