Fantasy The Covenant

When very early morning came Faith would leave the house and realize she was alone...or at least she and Raine where. 'Make the town, keep others safe...' she thought to herself as she began planting more trees and using more of her magic. Again she would manipulate them to form craters and houses out of nothing, ones to be finished later on when the time was available. 'More, more we need to keep safe.' Before the sun had reached the highest in the sky Faith had done a surprising action. 150x150 was surrounded by seedlings that sat nearby one another, something she would have never expected to do. Faith knelt slowly down when she got a yelp from Raine telling her the seedlings were ready. She let out a scream at first, but will sweat collecting on her brow she would slowly rise to her knees as all the trees began to grow, all of them slowly but surely forming a thick wall around the compound. By the time she was fully on her feet there were massive oak trees looking as if formed together to form a sort of canapy, leaving only two entrances to get within the thick massive all that surrounded the place. Ivy quickly interwove itself along them, as if for good measure. 'Protect....Protect...protect...'

Halk would hear this...the rumbling of the trees that also reached his home audible from below the earth. It not having been far, he was also safe in the compound.

Part of the river flowed though the compound leaving another opening where demons could find their way in, but Faith herself hoped this addition would allow them to be able to travel through the small world and have easy access to water and fish.

Halk held onto the underside of one of his tables that were held to the ground. The sphere rolled off the table, but Halk caught it before it hit the ground. "Sonofabitch, what the hell's happening?" The sphere made a concerned clinking noise. Halk waited untill the tremors stopped, then went up to the trapdoor, disabling the charms and sheilding his eyes with his hand from the harsh sunlight. "Tha fuck?" He couldn't see very well as his eyes adjusted. Squinting he found that trees had encircled a wide area with the house he and Faith had made in the center. Still spouting curses, Halk closed the trapdoor and stood on the top of his hill, now part of a type of encampment. He stared at the sky for a bit, his hair a mess, clothing stained with grease sweat and magic, stubble dotting his chin. He made a few slow circles, taking his new surroundings in. The sphere whirred. "Father, there is magic here." Halk snorted. "No shit." "It is green." the sphere added. "Tell me something I don't know..." "Father, it is... same." "What? "Same... I don't know the word. Apologies father." Halk pondered this for a bit rubbing his chin, sleep deprived brain struggling to comprehend what exactly the sphere was trying to communicate. He knew what the sphere was thinking of when he saw Faith, staggering a bit from loss of energy. Halk started towards her. "Did you do that?" Halk called.

Solomon, who was still sitting handcuffed outside the house Halk and Faith'd made, woke up by the rumbling and saw Halk. "Ah, good morning charmer, and Healer you seem to have been busy" He looked at the treehouses and craters. "So you guys really are planning to settle down here huh, I like both the idea and the way you're doing it"

Faith nodded, the girl looking rather tired herself having given all of her energy into the surrounding trees, "There is a few trees within the walls, the ones we don't need we can chop down and use to create a gate we can open and close at the entrances..." she said before approaching and gently touching the sphere, "Aww you are so adorable," she said with a gentle smile before little Raine hopped up onto her shoulder and looked at the sphere as well in curiosity.

Vytalas, no familiar with him, looked at Solomon dead in the eye. "Oh please... Saying the ritual isn't a big deal is just stupid, as are the people who perform it. And yes, I was propbably the top summoner in that god awful cult, although, I left before they made me perform the ritual.. Which clearly has done me good.." Vytalas then summoned Mileena again as she stood there, still with the vine drill-spear formed on her arm. "Stay and watch him... I need to see to someone... If he tries anything... Kill him, and if you must.. I give you permission to use...That ability" Vytalas began to walk as he stopped and turned back to face Solomon and Zzrot. "So, they really are coming? Ugh" Vytalas then turned again as he began to walk over to Faith, Mileena stood guard of the cuffed Solomon contently, not blinking an eye. Eventually. He got to where Faith was, seeing Halk with her. "You two.. It would be very wise if we sent Solomon on his way.. He is a danger to us and the future of this place." He looked at them both, concern clearly visable in his eyes. "Not only is he the brother of Nikolai, but he has also performed the ritual.. That part you already know.. Mileena is currently watching over him but I would like to ask for the advice of you two before I do anything.. We are a team after all.." Vytalas stood there, looking at them both, hoping they would answer quickly.

Halk ran a hand through his tangled hair. "I like the sthalrim idea. He could stay there forever. Nobody would know where he is. And I could always kill him." Halk clicked his milti-stabber menacingly. "It technically wouldn't be me who did it, it would be the little shards of ice that keep expanding and lodging in his arteries." The sphere responded to Faith. "Father, this is green. But what is this? I do not know this." Meaning Raine. Halk turned his tired eyes to Raine. "That's another familiar. That is Faiths familiar. Faith is green." "Green. Faith is green. Thank you for the clarification father." Halk turned to Vytalas. "I can kill him without getting stuck here too. I'll have no qualms about it." The sphere clicked. "Him is the purple correct father?" Halk grunted. "No, the purple is Jackass. The blue is Vytalas. But the purple is Jackass." "Allright." the sphere chirped. "Greetings Vytalas blue and Faith green. What has Jackass done to be restricted by father's magic?" Halk rubbed his face. "I'm sorry, he needs to learn more. He's like a todler right now." The sphere whirred childihly.

Solomon was just sitting on the ground, just as he'd been doing for a while now, it was getting quite boring, he looked at vytalas' familiar. "So you're Vytalas' other familiar huh, do you have a name?" Zzrot was also getting quite bored so he decided to try and cut something, he took a couple of swings at the trees, cutting them in two with every swing.

Raine tackled Zzrot, snarling in outrage at the creature's actions, 'You will not cut trees with no reason to do so!'

Faith continued to gently touch the sphere, "I cannot wait until you can communicate more, you seem like you will be so much fun to talk to little one." Faith saw the sphere much like she would see a child, one that needed care and gentle treatment as a pure child would need, "I promise I'll take care of you too alright?"

The sphere clicked. "I do not require attention. Father made me so I can better the lives of others. He is currently teaching me how to charm objects." Halk cut in. "Well, not exactly. We still need to figure out what to do with the Necro." Halk spat the word Necro. A bit of white light curled its way around the sphere. "You mean Jackass, correct father? What has the purple done?" Halk sighed. "I told you that. They use dark magics that requires the unwilling sacrifice of others. You don't do things that others don't like, I taught you that as well." the sphere waited a moment. "I believe killing him would not be a viable solution father," the sphere reasoned, "The act of imprisionment would be much better. But he seems to be in that current state allready." Halk looked at Faith and Vytalas. "Any Ideas?"

Mileena kept her glance on Solomon as he spoke, she nodded and said. "Yes, I am his strongest." Her tone was very calm and tranquil yet her demeanour and aura was threatening. Vytalas looked at Halk as he spoke, scratching his head as he thought of ideas. "I would use one of my necromancy binding spells on him but that would be too risky.. I say we take him back to where he came from.. Although, That would be very problematic.." He sighed as he tried coming up with other ideas. "We could keep him here but that would be too dangerous.. His brother could come looking for us and we don't know if Solomon is still working for them.. Feeding them information.. We could seal his magic away but that is like torture for a mage, I say we hand him back to Nikolai. I will take him there if I have to."

Zzrot was starled by the sudden tackle, but when he saw his attacker his bones rattled in amusement. "And what are you going to do about it?" Zzrot readied for battle, letting the Kitsune go first, even though she'd basically already started it.

Solomon kept looking at Mileena, expecting an answer on his question, but the familiar didn't seem like she had any intent to answer it. "I wonder, do you have anything underneath that hood, would you mind taking it off and letting me see?"

Jade watches a strange commotion in the shadows behind the trees. There was a man with strange purple hair talking with a creature with a hood, and a woman tackling a creature who looked as if it were made of bones, now that she looked at it, it WAS a creature made of bones. "Calcifer, go get a closer look for me." Jade's hawk did a simple nod and flew a few yards above the man with strange hair.

Solomon shifted his attention upon seeing a hawk flying up in the air. "Hm" He felt that the hawk was a familiar, but where was its master? He decided to ignore it and pick up the question later since a whole lot he could do whilst shackled to the ground.

When jade looked closer at the man with strangely colored hair, she saw he was chained to the ground, wanting to help the man, she called Calcifer back to her, approaching out of the shadows with Calcifer on her shoulder she walked towards the group.

As Solomon noticed the woman exiting the shadows he shined up, a new face, "Well, well, who do we have here?" he thought for himself, he decided not to say anything since he didn't want Vytalas' familiar to notice her, who knows, maybe she wanted to help him out of this predicament.

(It's pretty late so I'm going to bed, goodnight everyone ^^)

Mileena stood there as she made a hissing sound at Solomon "What is under this hood is of no concern to you!" Mileena spat as she stood guard and then felt a strange magic nearby, she made vines wrap round her other arm to form a blade so now she had an incredibly sharp sword for an arm, and a huge drill/spear for another. Her eyes reddened "Hostile magic is in the area."

Vytalas sensed it through Mileena and looked at Faith and Halk. "Someone else is here... I'm gonna check it out" he went outside and stood next to Mileena, summoning Viper again and holding out a summoners stone so he can summon more. "Viper. Follow the sent of the stranger" he nodded and slithered into the distance with a hiss, and got to where the strange woman was and alerted Vytalas before slithering back. Mileena stood next to Vytalas as he said "Woman. Who are you?"

jade turns to see a man with silver hair. "I am Jade, why do you ask?" She questioned. if this man was trouble, she would have to get ready to fight. But if he wasnt, she would look like a fool, she conserved a bit of energy incase needed, but she remained calm. "and, if i may, who are you?"

The sphere hummed, a blue streak of light appearing. "Father, there is a blue. Not Vytalas. Also something else." Halk swore and looked her up and down. "Can you give me anything other than that?" The sphere paused. "The something else... It is... fly. It fly." Halk rubbed his chin, still eyeing the now woman. "It is an areal familiar?" "Yes father, it is." Halk nodded. "Any other purples?" "None aside from jackass." Halk nodded, tugging faith in the direction of the new person.

Halk jerked his finger to Solomon. "Hey. There is a guy here. He is supposed to be here. Do not attempt to move him. Good good? Yea? Allright." Halk stuck out his hand for the newcomer to shake. "I'm Halk. I make stuff. This is Vytalas. He's a good kid. I'd like to know your name as well." He smiled warmly.

jade takes the mans hand and shakes it. "I am Jade." she gestures to the hawk on her shoulder. "and this is Calcifer. What were you doing with that sphere?" she asks in curiosity.

The sphere whirred. "I have multiple uses. The primary ones being detecting magic, another to better the life of others. The third father has told me not to mention." Halk smiled. "Yea, I made it. It's pretty cool, I've been working on it a long time now." He rubbed the back of his neck. "What do you know of necromancy. You have to answer this question, it is imparitive to what happenes next. And make it believable please." Halk motioned to solomon. "This guy... We don't like him. He's a shadowtheif, a skull-head if you will." Halk said, refferencing the cult of bloodthirsty necromancers. "I've mentioned it before, but we want him gone. So far we can't find out what to do with him. He needs to stay where he is untill we can figure out what to do with him."

Jade looks to Halk. "I believe necromancy is the practice of comunicating with spirits of the dead, especially in order to predict the future. However, there can be more uses than just foreseeing what happens next, necromancers can call upon a spirit of the deceased in order to aid them and so on and so forth. Cultures which use necromancy can be: witchcraft, sorcery, uccultism, voodoo, hoodoo, excetra. I know this for my teacher had taught me about it, but, he only taught me about it, he did not teach me. And i plan never to use it, he said it can be dangerous to me. Calcifer can only see spirits of the deceased, he cannot talk to them."

Halk rubbed his chin out of habit and nodded. "Good enough for me. Jade was it? Allright. This is Faith..." He put his hand on Faiths shoulder, "I told you this is Vytalas..." He put the other hand on Vytalas's shoulder, "I'm Halk, yea yea, the inari's Raine, and the vine girl's mileena." He dropped his hands swinging them behind his back. "Aaaaaand, that's it. The sphere doesn't really have a name, I want it to come up with one on it's own, however it seems incapable at the moment." The sphere beeped in acknolagement. "Names are inefficient." Halk shot a glance at it, then returned his attention to Jade. "Well. I hope you guys will excuse me," He said, running a hand through his still-messy hair, rubbing his tired eyes, "I've still got shit to work on. I've lost enough time allready." He turned to go back to his bunker.

Solomon heard Halks introductions. "And if you don't mind so is my name Solomon, I would shake your hand Jade, but well" he pulled his arms to clarify his situation. "And honestly, from my point of view, so have I done nothing to wrong or hurt these people"

Jade looks to Solomon. "What have you been accused of? Is it so bad you need to be chained? You look like a caged bird. But I will no sorrow if what you have commited is wrong in any sort. I am on neither side. Not humans, nor Heaven, nor Hell. I am simply a spec of dust in the wind. So tell me young shadowtheif." Jade said, sitting down next to the man. "What have you done to have you chained so mercilessly?"

Halk threw this comment over his shoulder as he caught the snippets of conversation; "He's killed people. Hundreds. So has his brother. Thousands. All for their own betterment." He spat. He continued to his home and shut the trapdoor behind him, not thinking to re enable the runes since he was surrounded by Faith's trees now.

Halk began clanking and charming for about five minutes when the spere stopped him. "Father, it would be inefficient to continue in this manner. Humans need rest and recouperation." Halk rubbed his tired eyes and lolled his aching shoulders. "I'm not human. I am father." The sphere whirred. "But father, you are human." Halk shot the sphere a glance and kept working. After a long break he stopped and clanked down an ornate shoulder joint on the table. "Tell ya what." Halk wiped his greasy hands on a soiled rag, "As soon as you come up with a name for yourself, an original name mind you, not a half-assed one, THEN I'll take a break. It would make everyone's life Better if they knew what to call you other than 'you' or 'sphere' or 'orb.' Kay?" The sphere made a grinding noise. "Yes father," it clicked.
