Fantasy The Covenant

Solomon sighed, "Yes, I am part of the Shadowthief clan, or well, I was, and yes the Shadowthief clan has killed people, however the reason why they kill is because they want to escape, they wan to become stronger to escape this place, they see this place as a prison, a cage, and they want to escape, and the only reasonable way of escape they can find is to become stronger and eventually bust their way out of here. Me on the other hand, I don't see this place as a prison, so I don't find any need to become stronger by killing people, and because of that opinion my own brother threw me away" The last sentence Solomon had let his head fall out of depression. "Damn you brother"

Mileena and Viper were stood either side of Vytalas as the newcomer, Jade spoke. "On top of that, he has performed a certain ritual which we deem.. Unacceptable." He sighed as he then looked down to see Solomons depressed face. "But, I can tell that he is speaking the truth.. So I shall set him free." Vytalas sat down by Solomon and took out the key given to him by Halk, he used it to unlock the chains and set Solomon free.. "I suppose I am too soft.. No matter.. But anyway. Solomon you have a choice, you can either stay with us or go elsewhere.. I won't interfere in any choice made.. We were friends once, I have to respect that." Vytalas then tossed the key to Halk and then nodded to Halk and Jade before leaving for the woods, his familiars following him.

Solomon finally could move his arms, however when he tried to stand he noticed that his legs had been locked in their crossed position. "Uuum, seems like my legs doesn't feel like moving at the time, could someone lend a hand?" He reached out his arm towards Jade. "Please?"

Halk had made another shoulder and attatched them both to the arms. "Look good bud?" he said to the sphere. "Yes father, I've learned much." Halk nodded. "Can you make some your self?" The sphere was silent and made a whirring noise. "Father, I will not be able to express a viable answer untill I work a bit with my own hands." Halk nodded. "Allrighty. I'm working as fast as I can without screwing up." "Thank you father." Halk smiled and began shaping a particularly large hunk of metal.

Jade complied, rather than taking Solomon's arm, she created a simple flame of hellfire in the center of her palm, hot enough to melt the metal that bound the shadow theif. "If I burn you, please tell me. I have hurt to many people as it is. Be warned though, if you are touched with my hell fire, its heat will burn your soul, Solomon, I wish not to hurt you." And with that she got down on one knee and started to work at the chains, seeing the chains dissintegrate she slightly smiled.

Solomon watched Jade melting the chains whilst he was thinking over Vytalas' words. "Hmph, honestly, so don't I think that I have that much left of a soul to burn" He sighed "Vytalas might be right, I have done unforgivable things, and that might've done something to me, something that can't be undone"

(Well, I meant more that they'd fallen asleep rather than that they were chained, but lets go with it)

(yee, vytalas unlocked the cuffs and the chains are magic resistant, but whatevs xD )

Halk had finished the piece of metal. It was a robust chest. He didn't charm it, other than to link it to the rest of the body. "You can do that bud." Halk said. He quickly fashioned the shoulders to it, then clanked about a bit creating legs. He attathed all pieces into one pretty large humanoid figure."You ready?" The sphere clicked. Halk picked it up and set it where the head of the body should be. The sphere flashed white a bit, then the supports around the neck clicked into place. The sphere whirred a bit, fitting into the machinery, clicking around the enchanted metal. "Try to move. Remember how I taught you. Everything is connected, don't try to bend the joints in ways they don't work." The sphere struggled a bit, then sat up, the metal clinking. "Father..." it examined it's runed hands, wiggling the fingers. "Father, I can enchant now. Shall I get to work?" Halk smiled. "No. You still owe me a name." The sphere hesitated. "Father, can I have some metal? And some quicksilver? I have an Idea." Halk's smile widened. "Of course, you don't need to even ask me. But yes. Get to work. And I want a name when you're done." Halk turned to his bed that was in the far corner of the room. "Now I can get a bit of sleep..."

Jade looks to Solomon "I guess your right, maybe you can't undo whats been done, but if your soul has been burned you can always tend to the wounds until all that's left is a scar in your past rather than an infected flesh wound, bound to curse you in your memories forever. Try to cope with your pasts turmoil to look to your future." and with that, Jade called Calcifer, and gave a slight smile to solomon. "Since you shared your past, would you like me to share mine?"

Solomon understood what Jade meant and nodded to her words. "Yes, you're right, I shouldn't let the past torture me, instead I should tend my wounds and look towards the future, and yes please Jade, tell me your story"

Jade looks to Solomon with a look of sorrow "I was always a good child. But my mind seemed to run away with me sometimes, my parents brought me up in a good, loving home, my father, skilled in the art of the ninja, taught me to fight using my skill, he, as well as me, was able to produce hell-fire, along with the ability to summon demons. So my father taught me at a young age, and one day, me and my father were outside our little village, and he was beginning to teach me to summon demons, well, I summoned a demon, but it possessed me, causing me to kill my entire village and my parents. It was a massacre, and when I was able to push the demon out of my mind, although still corrupting and living in my soul, I woke to pure chaos and destruction, I ran away, trying to find a new life. It never came, until I found a monk who helped me live at peace with myself and the demon inside me. To this day, the demon still lives inside me and causes me to lose myself sometimes, harming the people around me. That is my story. It is the thing that scars my past. But it won't wound my future."
