The Corrupted [A Pokemon Gijinka Roleplay] - Things have taken a dramatically dark turn in the pokemon world when a curse is unleashed...

Once, humans and pokemon lived together in harmony. But, this was a long time ago. Now there are also gijinka.


What caused this? Arceus herself.


Long ago, humans have began mistreating pokemon. It started as a small matter, one that was frowned upon by the main population of humans. But with time, things change. Over the years, violence between humans and pokemon heightened. Pokemon...

Location: Jubilife City


The small blonde Pokemon trainer walked through the city, the one rumored as the "Gijinka City": the one Arceus had focused on the most for the transfusion of Pokemon and humans. She had been sent, the top of her trainer academy, to investigate these mysterious 'gijinkas' with 3 of her best Pokemon, plus one that she was still training. Adjusting her headband and rose-patterned lolita dress, she wandered the alleyways of the city, searching for any kind of life. She sent out her most beloved Pokemon, Renegade the Hydreigon, to assist her in her investigation and be her moral support. "Renegade, love, do you see anyone or anything?" She asked her dual dragon/dark type Pokemon, able to read the minds of these creatures through years of practice. "Hmm..I don't see anyone either." She murmurs, studying the roads and alleys for a mental road-map of the large city. 'What do they look like, anyways?' She whispers to herself, continuing on her search with her Pokemon by her side.

Azrael was walking around the ruins of Hearthome City enjoying the peace of being alone. She was heading back to the house she and her sister Tsura lived in. "I still need to go to the Berry Growers and restock the shop...hmmm..." The Umbreon was muttering to herself as she walked along.


Location: Ruins of Hearthome City

Fyre looked around Arceus's castle annoyed. She had went to get Soltae some food and when she came back the woman was gone. Now she was looking everywhere trying to find her again. She was always nervous something was going to happen to Soltae if she wasn't around. "Dang it, where did that woman go? Soltae!" Fyre called out as she walked.

Tahl looked around the forest he was in and sighed. He feared it was time he returned to his love's side. He had been working against her for the last fifteen years and hadn't seen her since. Of course no one knew he was Bael, the resistance leader, but that didn't stop him from dreading being in the Corrupted's presence again. "Yes, it is time..." With those muttered words he looked at the Dragon Plate he had in his hands and put it in his robes before walking off from his spot.


Location: Some woods near the Uknown Ruins
 
"Ugh, I wonder where everyone is?" The blonde female shook her head, looking around her to find atleast one person. "Renegade...this isn't working" She said to her Hydreigon, jumping on the Pokemon's back. "Fly!" She exclaimed, her dragon shooting off into the sky.

Tsura stared out at the as if the most interesting thing in the world was there And to her, it was. She knew someone was coming... she was just waiting. She stood at the back of the house, staring up and frowning in concentration.

Soltae wandered the castle, bored, when a servant appeared at her side, informing her that a servant was waiting for her in the throne room. She frowned and rolled her eyes, then nodded. She went to the throne room to see what the messenger had to say. "What?" She demanded when she got there, crossing her arms.

"This city, I guess." The blonde Pokemon trainer said to her Hydreigon, prompting him to land. "Now let's see if we can find anyone here?" She said, looking around.
 
As she got closer to the house she saw her sister standing out back. Making her way over to her she frowned and spoke softly just incase her sister was using her 'sight' "Is something wrong Tsura?"


Location: Ruins of Hearthome.

Fyre went through the halls for a few more minutes before stopping a servant and asking if they knew where Soltae was. She then jogged to the throne room and sighed in relief. "There you are." She tensed when she saw the messenger. "Whats going on?"

Looking up at the castle Tahl smiled. Even if he was a little nervous he wanted to see Arceus. As he stepped inside a guard tried to stop him. He pulled out a sword and stabbed the man, just like he would have if he was still corrupted. "Do you know who I am!?" With that he let them man slip from his sword and made his way to Soltae's private bedroom, killing all who got in his way. He saw a servant run off and smiled, knowing that soon he'd see his love. He got to her room and laid down on the bed, waiting for someone to tell Soltae a strange man was there.

Bishop made his way down the old route 218 and towards Jubilife City. He was out on one of his many berry trips. "Berries should be ripe enough to pick today.' He said as he walked the path heading towards Jubilife. "The hidden berry field was a little past Jubilife and near Oreburgh if i remember correctly." He put his hand up to shield his eyes from the sun and looked into the distance. He could see the entrance to Jubilife and the building that he once entered a long time ago. He picked up his pace. He made to the entrance to the city when the wind picked up. With his blue jacket blowing in the wind he entered the City and walked into the square.

The blonde Pokemon trainer had returned to Jubilife city after a while in Hearthome with no avail or success on her search. After all, she had been assigned to search Jubilife not Hearthome. She looked around the city again after leaving her Hydreigon's back from flying, to spot a Lucario gijinka, something she was searching for. She went up to the human-Pokemon hybrid, intent on examining or at least observing him. "Hello? May I ask you some questions?" She asked the jackal gijinka, appearing behind him.

Bishop spun around upon hearing the voice. It was a girl, a trainer, and a Hydreigon. Bishop held out his hand. "Return the Pokemon to its Pokeball" Bishop said forming a Aura Sphere in his palm "I'd rather not fight anyone right now." He stared at the girl and the tips of his bandana raise up. He observed her aura as he watched. "She's not planning anything, and she's not trying to trick me in any way." Bishop thought to himself "cant let my guard down though."

"Woah, I'm sorry! I'm not being a threat!" The trainer waved her hands in front of her, signaling that there was no problem. "Renegade here is actually really sweet." She says as she pets the dragon Pokemon. 'This guy is odd...and the way he dresses...' The blonde trainer thought to herself. "I just wanted to ask some questions." The female gave a friendly smile, telling the Lucario gijinka that she wasn't going to cause any harm.

Bishop's eyes widened. Her aura became kinder and more friendly. Bishop lowered his hand and dissipated the Aura Sphere. "From what I can hear I'm not quite sure that your Hydreigon is as friendly as you think" Bishop said keeping his expression cold and emotionless. "Ask your questions. But be quick I'm on a tight schedule."
 
"No, my Renegade is s big sweetheart!" The female trainer was shocked and offended at how the Lucario thought that her Hydreigon was dangerous. "Oh, uh, sorry, but first, you're a human-Pokémon hybrid, am I correct?" She asked the gijinka.

"Yes. If you couldn't tell from the ears." Bishop said to the trainer "And for the record I never liked Dragon types." He looked up at the sun and noticed the time "I've got to get moving." He said turning around "if you have anymore questions I suggest you follow" Bishop then started making his way towards the exit leading towards Oreburgh city

The trainer frowned."Oh, I'll put him away then.." She said as she returned the dragon type to his Pokéball and started to follow the Lucario. "Well, uh-" She stuttered.

Bishop continued to walk along the path as the trainer followed. "What is it?" He said turning his head to looks back at her "you gonna ask me something or are you gonna keep stuttering?" Bishop stopped in front of a tree with a big hole in its trunk and reached inside. He pulled out the big bag from inside and slung it over his back. "Still in one piece" he mumbled to himself forgetting the trainer for a second "at least you won't tear again." He realized he was talking to himself again and cracked a smile. His attention focused back on the trainer and his smile vanished. "Well?" He said "spit it out"

The trainer's face flushed from embarrassment as she attempted to talk again, but now without the stuttering. "Oh, sorry, I was sent here from my trainer academy, as top of my class, to investigate the transfusions of the humans and Pokémon... Is it alright if I interrogate you a bit..?"

"Not like you'll leave me alone until then." He said sighing "you might as well start now." He turned towards the forest and stepped into the brush. "Come on. You can question me while we walk" he said moving a branch out of the way and gesturing her to pass through "ladies first."

The Pokémon trainer smiled a little at the gijinka's courtesy. "Oh, well, if you don't want me to ask anything, I'll leave." She said with a frown.

"It's not that I don't want you to ask me anything it's..." Bishop said stepping further into the trees "it's just your not the first one." He held the tree branch up "come on! I'll answer to the best of my abilities." He waved his hand wanting her to follow.

"Oh okay... Time for my questions. May i ask why exactly Pokémon and humans were transfused?" The trainer asked with a curious face, following the Lucario.

"I wouldn't know the answer to that question" Bishop said moving another branch out of his way "I just know that from what I've heard the person who did this was Arceus" He stepped into a clearing revealing the berry field. "Ah here we are." He said walking over to the nearest tree and started picking Oran Berries from it.

The female trainer followed the hybrid to a berry field. "Okay, do you ever remember being a Pokémon or human before the transfusion?" She asked. "Oh, uh would you like some help?"

"Knock yourself out." He said set the bag on the ground "I remember glimpses from my old life as a pokemon. I know I had a trainer, but I can't remember a name or a face." He put an armful of Oran berries into the bag and moved to a different tree to pick some Pecha berries
