Realistic or Modern The Come Out Club (LGBTQ High School RP)

"Sorry to go without really talking to you Blake but I gotta go. I made plans and if I flake on here the bitch with seriously tear me a new one, no joke," Daniel said mostly true, he did have to go to coco's but he did want to catch up with Troy and try and help him get over his awkward overpowering shyness. The boy was cute and he just needed confidence in himself. Daniel believed that he could help give that boy the confidence he needed. Daniel grabbed his duffle and left the club room giving everyone a slight wave and a fake but passable smile,"Bye guys. Tomorrow? After school? I'll be here. No interruption. I swear."

And with that last little spiel he turned the doorknob and left the classroom. He saw Troy fast walking away towards the parking lot and Daniel decided to follow. He would follow Troy until he looked less worried and stressed and then he'd politely and nicely offer the boy a ride.

"This isn't a coming out club room once the manager leaves, then it's just a room full of gay high school students and one extremely fabulous and attractive girl" Olive said, looking through his bag for something to occupy him. Once Daniel had left all there was to hear were murmurs between the guys and the sound of Olive reaching into his bag and pulling out a slice of olive bread and taking a bite. He slowly chewed the food, probably creating more noise than he intended to but eating was his own way out of an awkward situation. He sat in his silence enjoying the bread, random thoughts popping into his head and making him stare at the bread. His eyes widened as his mind was focused on one thing and one thing only. "Oh my..." He paused, having a staring showdown with the food in his hand. "You're called olive bread because you have me as a secret ingredient.." He walked over to the bin, dropping it in there and scoffing. "You make me sick...but I must say that I taste rather nice!"

Adam looked to the new guy that had walked in with a small smile, he pointed up to Daniel when he was asked who the leader of their little group was. Then the singing started again, but damn, yes he knew that he himself could sing quite well but Blake had him beat by at least a metre, no more than that.

He watched Daniel leave before he started digging through his pockets for his keys, "I should be off," Adam said as well, he had to go check on his mom, grab them supper and make it to the store for a new camera lens. He took out both his keys and his and his camera slinging his back pack over his shoulder, "I need to go get this thing fixed now before tomorrow," he said waving the camera slightly as he strapped it around his neck. "But...um, I'll see you all tomorrow?" The sentence came out more like a question, he wasn't use to being around others or having people to relate to...0r friends. But hey, it was a good feeling.

Troy walked quickly out the front doors, stopping and taking deep breaths as he leaned against the wall alone outside. Troy's shyness was evil...it always made him nearly hyperventilate. He was unaware of Daniel following him, and Troy took time to relax and catch his nervous breath. Hugging his knees as he sat against the brick wall of the school.

Drew grabbed his keys as well, ready to leave. "I think I'll head out...but yeah, definitely see you guys again tomorrow." He said, giving a wink to the boys, mostly Blake and Adam.

"I'll um..." Adam cleared his throat, standing by the desk he was at, "I'll walk with you," he suggested towards Drew with a small friendly smile. Adam held his keys through the key ring wit one finger swinging them around his finger as he waited for Drew to collect his things. Adam was glad that he took the risk and came here today, because if he hadn't then maybe he wouldn't have made some friends today. Well he wouldn't really call them friends yet, but hey. It was close enough for him.

Drew collected his things and walked out of the room with Adam. He made small talk in the hall with him. Asking random questions, smiling, chuckling every now and then. He walked out of a different exit with him into the parking lot, walking Adam to his car.

Troy remained outside for Daniel to find as he calmed down.

"Hey," Daniel said walking up behind Troy. He didn't want to scare the boy by just showing up out of nowhere. It was kinda like how you treat a horse. You have to let it know where you are at all times or it'll buck you, especially where it hurts. He didn't want to touch Troy and scare him away so he just stood next to him. He looked at Troy with his big blue eyes and asked,"You need a ride home? I'd hate to walk or take the bus in tins unbearable heat."

Daniel bit his lip not sure what to do now that he asked the question. Then he decided to boy pressure the boy,"You know...if you wanted to...I mean I'd like it if you did but...no pressure."

So much for no pressure. Crap, Daniel was ruining it,"You're very handsome."

Troy looked up at Daniel. "Handso--uh...I don't need a ride, I live only a couple of blocks away." Troy replied softly, his tone gentle and shy but quick. He rose to his feet and stood beside Daniel, backpack slung over his shoulder. "Thank you but....I'm good. Thanks for...the club," he replied again, this time nervously take a step forward to leave. He avoided eye contact with Daniel...nervous still. but he blushed at the handsome comment. He was only a step away from Daniel, but close enough to be reached out to.

Adam stopped to where his car was parked, it was an old car yes, but he loved his camaro, after all it was his fathers and his mother never had the heart to give it away, and he didn't blame her. It was a nice car. Sleek black, good engine, however, due to it being a '74 model it had it's moments, which is why he needed to take it in to be fixed, but she was still a beauty and ran perfectly for him. "So I never really had the chance to say thanks for this morning...So thank you," he said somewhat awkwardly, "He's the one I said transferred here from my old school, what are the chances right?" he laughed halfheartedly before he shook is head. "Anyways, I'll see you tomorrow," he said with a smile going over to the drivers door and taking the key and unlocking it lightly tossing his bag in the back seat.

Daniel was scared. This boy was ridiculously shy. One wrong move and it would fuck up everything. He went for it and put his hand on Troy's shoulder. If this would have been Nick, Drew, or maybe even Adman he would have just grabbed the boy and yanked him around the corner and kissed him. But this wasn't any of those boys this was Troy, the hottest sweetest boy in the room but the one with the saddest story and the one who locked himself away. He needed to be careful. Maybe just be friends with the kid first. In the meantime he could probably be with Nick if he wanted.

"Hey dude, You got a phone, an email, a Kik or something?" Daniel asked his insides were begging for some digits or a screen name.

Drew smiled. "I'm sure that Bradley kid isn't all bad...maybe there's good in him. Hell, what if he's gay?" ((Foreshadoing based on Brad's CS xD )) Drew asked jokingly and laughed. "But you're welcome...and yeah, see you tomorrow." He said patting Adam's back and walking to his fancy red sportscar.

Troy shyly replied with, "I-I...have a phone...yes...but it's home, not a cell. Why?" Troy asked politely and honestly. Lordy...he really was shy and sheltered. Troy played with his hands. Daniel, the cutey pie as he called him in his mind, was talking to him...perhaps wanting to know him?

Adam climbed in the car and closed the door behind him, putting the car into ignition and rolling the windows down so people walking by could hear his obnoxiously loud music playing through his speaker system. He pulled out from the schools parking lot and out onto the main drag, going towards the shop where he had gotten his camera, hoping that he could replace the lens for relatively cheap, but if not then he was going to be in trouble by the time it came for him to pay for his car. Adam took no more than ten minutes to get the new lens, not needing to spend much on it either -thankfully. He then decided to get some Chinese take-out for him and his mother for dinner.

When Adam returned home, he found his mom in the living room, curled up under a knit blanket watching America's Next Top Model, with a cup of coffee in her hands. "Hey mom," he said throwing his back pack onto the chair, placing the bag of take out on the table going over to his mother, brushing a hand over her hairless head and pressing a gentle kiss to the top of her head. It was how he seemed to greet her each time he came home, and that was okay with him. Adam shared a very close bond with his mother, and he would do anything to keep that bond. She seemed to always know what was on his mind, so as he handed her the styrofoam box of food smiling widely, she had to ask. "Who put that smile on my little boy?" It went from there, Adam denying anything and everything that she said, but he knew that she knew something happened at school to make him happier than usual.

(Sorry it's short >.<)

"Can I have it? I mean are your parents the kind that would freak out if I called you and wanted to maybe take you to the movies or something sometime soon? You seem like a really sweet guy and I just want to be there for you. I saw in class today people were just mean to you for no reason. That's not cool...I wish I'd said or done something earlier. I'd really like to get to know you. You know? I mean only if you want to I guess. It's ultimately up to you whether you want me to have it or not," Daniel said the tips of his ears getting slightly turning pink from his nervousness,"You sure you don't want that ride? It's getting a little late."

Kadence made his way out of the classroom, followed by his shy friend as he exited the building, "I don't think they caught the part where I said I'm straight, buuut they seem cool." He glanced over his shoulder at his significantly shorter friend, "What do you think?"

"They seem... Okay... But I don't think they noticed that I was there... I don't blame them for overlooking my existence." Sylvester muttered in a rather hushed tone, looking at the others as they passed them, "I hope they didn't think we're-"

"What, a couple? Nah." Kade continued heading towards the parking lot, believe it or not, Sylvester did drive but he wasn't exactly the most skilled driver. "Hey, you gonna unlock the car or am I just going to stand here? He was joking, of course, if he wanted to continue in track he had to be capable of getting home on foot if he had to.

"Sorry..." Sylvester unlocked the car, looking back in the direction of the club, not entirely sure if he'd go back but it was a possibility... He hopped into the driver's seat and was instantly filled with energy, the idea that he was leaving campus temporarily relieved his stress. "So, you going straight home, or are you going with me this time?" He looked back at Kade, eyes sparking with positive energy.

"I'm down." Kadence leaned back in the seat, kicking his feet up on the arm rest.

"Glad to see you've changed your mind!" He revved the engine of the bright red car, "HELL YEAH!!!" He pulled out of the parking spot and drove off, so, maybe he was a bit two-faced, at least he didn't hit anyone this time.

(Yoooo~)

Troy started getting frantic in his mind. "Well m-my parents--adoptive parents probably wouldn't mind if you called...I guess...they say I should talk to people...but I haven't in years....I'm weird, I know." Troy said, rambling. Why did Daniel want to know him so much? Troy was an outcast, a nobody..."Do you..do you....have something to write it with?" He asked, ignoring the part about needing a ride until after the whole number exchange.

"I think so. Let me check," Daniel said taking off his backpack and placing it on the ground. He looked through it and he could tell the longer he talked to the boy the more nervous and anxious he was getting. He was blowing it again. Eventually he found what he was looking for in his unorganized backpack hiding under a binder. He held out a sharpie and handed it to Troy.

"Here just write it on my hand," Daniel said holding out his palm for Troy,"It still a no on that ride?"

Why was he pressuring this ride thing so much? He didn't know but it was why he started the conversation in the first place. Might as well keep asking.

Drew got in his car and drove off, returning home at the same time Nicole's bus dropped her off. He parked in the driveway of the "fancy" house and me her halfway in the path to the front door, messing up her hair and walking inside wither her.

Troy carefully took the sharpie and shakily opened it, nervous as hell. He took a breath and lightly grabbed Daniel's hand in order to keep it steady and wrote the number down on Daniels hand neatly. Troy's skin was naturally cold to the touch, cool and refreshing. He finished and let go of Daniel's hand. He handed his sharpie back to him. "Really you don't have to..I can walk, I'd rather not be a bother." He said quietly and shyly still. Jeez, this boy was shy as hell.

"It won't be a bother. I still have to drive to coco's...I mean if I'm late and have an excuse like,'I was taking a cute boy home' she'll be less likely to whoop my skinny white ass. I can assure you that you won't he a bother. I wouldn't be asking if I thought you would be and as you said you live pretty close to campus," Daniel said putting the sharpie in his pocket and pulling his backpack back up on his shoulders.

"Now come on. I really want to get to know you," Daniel said extending his hand for Troy to take hold of.

Troy nervously nodded and took Daniel's hand. "L..lead the way." He said quietly, slinging his backpack over his own shoulder and began walking to Daniel's car with him. He was extremely nervous...but he managed to hide just how nervous he was at this point. He kept his breath slow and steady, he'd never actually been this social before...it scared and excited him.

Daniel smiled at Troy and squeezed his hand tightly,"Ok. I'll lead the way."

He started walking towards his baby blue pick up truck in the junior parking lot. Within a few minutes they reached Daniel's truck.

"Here she is...my baby," Daniel said pulling the truck keys from his pockets,"I knows she's old but at least she still runs."

Troy just nodded. After a moment he quietly hopped in the passenger's side. He nervously played with his hands...not knowing if he was smart doing this, taking a ride home. he accidentally pulled his sleeve up, revealing a nasty scar.

Daniel threw his bags in the flatbed and pulled himself up into the drivers seat. He pulled on his seatbelt and put his keys in the ignition. He looked down and say the scar on Troy's arm. There was something about it. It was old and had healed. Daniel was eying it not sure what to say. He knew if was probably self inflicted but scars were scars, they became a part of you. They may have been ugly to some people but to Daniel they added character to a human's appearance.

"It's beautiful," Daniel said looking at the scar and up at Troy,"I like your scar. It's pretty."

"My...what?" Troy looked down. "Oh--" He said quickly before covering it. "This thing made me lose several ounces of blood...where's the beauty?" He asked quietly and nervously. Was this guy a freak?

Nick was the last one In the room. He sighed as he got up and walked out. He wasn't sure how he really felt about the club. Nick felt as if no one knew he was there, maybe he should just focus on soccer and forget about all of this. Nick had received a text from his parents saying they had to leave for business so he would be home alone again. He sighed as he started to walk home. It was getting dark and nick had a decent walk home. He lived in a very nice gated community with big houses but the problem was that it was not very close to campus.

"It's beautiful because it's a part of you and you're very beautiful," Daniel said taking Troy's hand and giving it a tight squeeze. He really hopped he wasn't making the boy super uncomfortable.

"Sorry...I'm just a little odd I guess," he said shaking his hand slightly regretting what he'd said even if he mean it. He let go of Troy's hand and put the truck in reverse pulling it out of the parking spot,"Do...do your parents know?"
