Realistic or Modern The Come Out Club (LGBTQ High School RP)

Olive watches closely as the boys who walked in avoided him, rolling his eyes and muttering to himself. It was a typical day really, not many of the school boys who knew his biological gender liked him and it was understandable. Well, that's what Olive passed it off as anyways. Whether that was wrong or not wasn't up to him, it was up to the people around him who decided to be that way.

Oliver tapped his fingers on the desk aimlessly, waiting to see if any girls would actually walk in the room and be kind. His sighs seemed to be ruining the joyful aura that surrounded them and replaced it with a grey and awfully boring aura just like that of an elder teacher. His eyes were averted to the door as more people walked in by the second and sat at the back of the classroom. He scoffed, he'd sat in the middle because if you sit at the very back you'll be bombarded by idiotic teenage boys who have no clue of right or wrong, and that was the simple explanation of why boys were falling over at the back. "Ridiculous..."

As someone fell from in behind him, he turned around slightly to see who did it, his eyes caught the man who would normally pick on people around school then laugh about it when he got home. He caught his gaze and saw him mouth the words 'you're next', no bully here ever truly made him feel scared, no billy ever actually bullied him, the only one who ever made his scared was Bradley. Adam put up his hand and flipped off the man receiving a stern tone from the teacher.

"Me. Kindling!" She scolded. Of course. "I won't tolerate that in my class, to the office." Wow.

Adam raised his brows, whether out of amusement or shock, he wasn't sure. "I'm sorry, but we all just saw steriroids trip this kid, and you're not doing anything about it. I just put up a finger, I mean really, it just a finger-" he said while wriggling his middle finger, "-I think I should give you the best teacher of the year award. I'm sorry but I'm not going anywhere," Adam folded his hands together over his open notebook and leaned back in his chair with a somewhat satisfactory smile.

"I must admit, I do like your determination." The teacher said to Adam, then turning her eyes to Troy on the floor. He slowly stood up, brushing dirt off of himself. He then took a seat in the front of the room, as embarrassed as he was, his cheeks flushed completely red. People were staring at him...he hated it. He was an outcast, not used to having eyes on him. The teacher sent the bully to the office, thankfully.

Drew sighed, thinking he still should have helped. If necessary, he could surely have taken on the bully...he already knocked one out in the hall. He liked that the bully got in trouble, but he should have helped the kid...

((Sorry it's so short, at school and shouldn't even be online xD ))

Daniel nodded at Nick,"It's not that big of a deal. They should have gotten divorced 2 years ago." He opened his backpack and pulled out a binder and pen. As he did that a boy fell in yen front of the room. He shot up abruptly and stared at the boy. He rolled his eyes. "Klutz," he muttered under his breath. He watched the boy from a distance and wasn't surprised to find the boy had tripped. He looked like he was the stereotypical loner kid, long sleeve black shirts and long jeans. He was glad the teacher had enough integrity to reprimand the kid and send him to the office.

She started class soon after that. It was the boring welcome back to school this is what I expect out of you. Blah...blah...blah he knew he'd have to spend his other 5 periods listening to the same damn damn thing.

Nick was buried into his phone when he saw troy fall and start to pick up his stuff. He felt bad for the kid, he didn't do anything to anyone but everyone treated him like dirt. He was about to get up and help him, but he already got all of his things and sat back down. Nick sat there and listened to the teacher talk about what they would be doing in class this year, he was bored out of his mind. He didn't care about school very much even though he got pretty good grades. All he cared about was soccer and well boys he thought to him self. Nick looked over at Daniel and sighed as he thought to him self there is absolutely no way he is gay so I might as well just be friends with him and that's it. Nick went back to looking at his phone when he saw another tweet about the club after school today. Right there and then he decided he would go and see what happens.

Troy was glad the guy who tripped him got sent off to the office. But he hated that people stared at him...he wasn't a freak...he was just a boy. An outcast, not used to attention. And he wanted to keep it that way. He eagerly waited for class to end so he could be rid of this already-nightmarish day. He also thought more about that club he read about...should he?

Drew listened to the teacher as she went on about the various first day topics. He zoned out after hearing what he needed, and drifted off into thought about the club meeting after school. In interested him...but he feared what people would think if they found out...especially his dad.
((again, sorry it's short. But I'm home now so I can make long ones again! xDD))

Daniel was glad when the final bell rang. The first day of school was no more. "Amen to that," he thought to himself. He did a minor hair flip while he waited for the classroom to empty. He hated how as soon as the bell ran everyone got up and clumped at the front of the room and you had to practically shove your way through the door.

The room cleared out quickly enough and he headed outside and down the hall to an abandoned English classroom that nobody ever used anymore. They faculty kept the door unlocked as a hang out/alternative lunch room. It was always unlocked, they never locked it. That's what made it the ideal place for having his ratchet version of a GSA. He entered the room and shut the door. He pulled a marker and piece of blank paper from a desk at the front of the room and wrote the initials,"The C.O.C" the acronym for the club was pronounced c*ck. It was fitting. He taped the sign on the outside of the door and sat at on the desk at the front of the room and pulled out his book to read it. He'd wait 15 minutes and then leave if no one showed up. He'd do this the first 2 weeks of school and if nobody ever showed he wouldn't worry about it, at least he'd have tried.

Drew was the first to appear at the door of the C.O.C. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. "This is a good thing...it's better to let people know in a small environment...why hide myself?" He said quietly to himself. Drew opened his eyes and ran a nervous hand through his luscious blonde hair. He adjusted his backpack on his shoulders, assured himself he had no baseball practice after school today, and ran a mental check sheet before going inside. He took another breath...the masculine but sensitive baseball team captain had his hand on the door knob and twisted it, pushed the door open and walked inside the classroom, inhabited only by one other person: Daniel. He smiled politely and closed the door behind him, making his way to another desk.

After Drew closed the door behind him, Troy came around the corner. "I'm just a loser...an outcast...why the hell would these people accept me?" He said to himself. He'd never had friends before...ever. He was used to people. He never opened up, unless it was to his adoptive parents, and still not even that much to them. He stopped about 10 feet from the door, unsure of whether or not he should actually go through with it...His sexuality was his biggest secret, and he has a loooot of secrets. But he was so unsure of this...so hesitant. Nobody ever gave him a chance...what made this any different? Troy began to shake out of nervousness. He took a huge deep breath and exhaled slowly, making his way to the door where he found the sign written on notebook paper. "C'mon Troy...take a chance...do something new..." He said to himself, but every time he found his hand close to the knob, he backed up away from the door. Why was this so hard for him? He straightened himself up, and with one huge twist, he opened the door to the classroom on the C.O.C and walked inside, closing the door behind him. He avoided eye contact with the two people inside: Drew and Daniel. he made his way to the back of the room, his anxiety acting up and his shyness overwhelming him. He sat in the back, away from the other two.

Olive wandered the halls for quite some time to find the club room but still couldn't get to it. He couldn't for life of him think of where it would be yet he still kept searching for it. He wanted this, to be around people that were maybe not so open as him and make friends that he hoped wouldn't judge. Perhaps the club would sit together at lunch or something like that, become real friends instead of the giggling girls that Olive was friends with, as nice as they were, sometimes they would just gossip about other girls for way too long. He wasn't just going to give up on finding the club, knowing his luck it would disappear and act as if it had never existed in the first place.

Soon enough he found what he assumed to be the club. A light snicker escaped Olive's lips as he read the paper sign in his head. Immature of him to do so yet oddly satisfying. He never realized the letters of the name and what they sounded like so it was a complete shock to him. He slowly pressed his hand onto the handle and pushed it down ever so slightly, taking a deep breath and swinging it open. Taking one confident step Olive entered the room and rested his hands on his hips proudly, probably the only that was wearing a smile at the moment. "Bam, I made an entrance!" He lost the superhero position and fist punched the air above him before returning to a somewhat normal pose of holding his hands in his lap, sitting on a table beside the door and crossing over his legs. "By the way, I couldn't help but see that glorious name on the door, it's adorable and I just love it"

((Just thought I'd be the possible only one to enter happily and proudly, or perhaps just in an extremely obnoxious way))

((Here comes a post for both Drew and Troy in one short post! xp))

Drew glanced at Olive as he walked in, only batting an eye before turning his eyes to the window. Troy didn't pay attention to anything going on...he was zoned out in his own world of anxiety and nerves. Both of them were kind of skeptical about being in there...but anything's worth a shot, right?

"This is a bad idea, Kade..." Sylvester said quietly as his friend pulled him through the halls to the 'Coming Out Club' Which shortened to C.O.C., which was quite unfortunate... He was being forced to a club that's abbreviation could only be pronounced in one way, surely this would be a way or the bullies to tease him about being in a club for c*cks, lovely. "Can't we go to a different club?"

Kade looked at his friend, "Too late..." He pointed to the door with the club's name on it. "Pff... Coc..." The freshman snickered, yes, this was quite immature but he couldn't help but find it humorous, At least it's not Room 69 He quickly checked to make sure it wasn't, but the number was so mutilated he couldn't possibly tell what classroom it was. He opened he door and peered inside, there were about four people in the classroom, four people he assumed were here for the club, after a moment he entered the classroom, looking around. Boy, was it dusty in here.

Adam stood across the hall from the door, he's seen a few people go in; of course Olive went in, why wouldn't she? But there was one in particular -not saying names- that had gone in that made him feel like he should follow. No body knew of his sexuality, and he wasn't sure he wanted to keep it that way or not. He played with the straps of his camera that hung around his neck nervously. God he didn't want to do it, but something was screaming at him to run. And he soon found out why his brain was telling him to leave. Bradley had followed him, a small bruise under his eye from when he was punched earlier, it almost made him laugh but he knew much better. "Coc?" he announced reading the sign, "I always knew you were a f*g," it was all he got out before he started to beat him. Adam would fight back, he had the muscle to, but it was a matter of being able to stand up and defending himself. Bradley took the camera off from around his neck and tossed it off carelessly, before driving his knee into Adam's stomach, causing a small 'oof' sound to emit from his lips. "I told you beating you up was on my to do list," he said pushing him into the lockers and sending one more punch to his face the silver band ring he wore causing his top lip to split, he then continued to shove him onto the ground and walked away, happy with his work, using his foot to kick the camera back over to Adam.

Adam lifted himself up rather pathetically and slowly as well, picking up the camera and taking off the lens protector to see that the fall had caused it to break. Exactly what he didn't want, to pay for a new camera. Adam just sat there, holding the back of his hand up to his split lip to catch any blood, looking at the door with longing eyes. He couldn't do it.

Usually he wouldn't have noticed, usually he would have tried to ignore it, usually he didn't recognize the voice of a stranger. Kade let go of Sylvester's sleeve as he leaned towards the door, a faint creak could be heard as it was slowly pushed open, the light shining outside of the r0om was enough to blind him for a short time. He didn't notice soon enough to see what happened but he'd noticed in time to see the person outside as he rose from the ground, and the person he assumed the voice belonged too walking away. Bullies. He hated bullies more than anything, he didn't care if they had a reason, they didn't need to take their anger out on innocent people.

"Kade?" Sylvester watched his friend leave the room, door closing behind him.

Kadence stopped just outside the door, watching the stranger a moment before he approached him, "Um... Are you okay?" He looked around, the bully had vanished, likely pleased with their actions... God, I hate people sometimes...

Adam groaned slightly as he sat up further, wincing slightly. He crossed his legs and held the broken camera in his hands with a sad expression. He couldn't afford a new camera, he had to pay for his car. Sighing, Adam wiped under his nose as he brought his back pack close to him as he pushed the now broken camera into his bag. He looked up at the person who came to check on him and nodded his head with a smile. "I'm use to it," he said, it barley hurt anymore, he was so numb to him hurting himself. "Thanks though," he said casting his glance down towards his hands in his lap, just knowing that when he woke up tomorrow there would be a nice red spot on his nose and multiple bruises on his stomach, as long as he could just convince his mm that he fell on the stairs or was is by a basketball inn gym class...again. Adam pushed himself up back on his feet, leaning over with a small wince to pick up his back pack and swing it over his shoulder, digging his hands in his pocket to find his keys.

Drew heard the commotion outside as it happened. He stood up and peaked his head outside in the hall, seeing Adam as the one Bradley called out on coming to C.O.C. Drew sighed, wishing he would have stepped out while Bradley was still around. "Hey...don't let an asshole get to you. Why don't you come on in...I think we all know why we're here." Drew said with charm, extending a hand kindly, offering to take Adam in the room in a friendly manner.

((I got nothing for Troy as of now...next post))

Adam looked between the two boys, Drew and probably a freshman that he would soon get to know if he were in this club. It took a moment of silently debating whether or not he should go in or not before he finally decided and that he would do it. He could just tell his mom that he had a meeting with the principal about yearbook photos. Simple enough, and believable. He followed them into the room and took a glance around, there were some here that he did know and others that he would soon get to know, for now this was a safe place and he could be himself here, that's all he wanted. Adam hated hiding, but he was so afraid of himself that he hid.

Kadence was startled by the other person who'd walked out of the room, "O-oh, I'm... Sorry about what happened..." It was then that he realized he'd left Sylvester alone in a room full of people, he'd gone against his word. Crap, I hope he'll forgive me for leaving him with bunch of strangers... He looked over at the door a moment before looking at the two strangers, We all know why we're here? I hope I don't cause any confusion... He shrugged it off as he re-entered the room, getting a not so threatening glare from Sylvester.

Drew sat back down in his seat, happy that Adam had decided to join everyone else inside the room.

Troy glanced up, his face still having an expression from earlier today when a bully tripped him. He never did anything wrong...why'd he get picked on? Troy got a small blush at the sight of Adam and Drew, shaking off the feeling and looking back down at his desk in the main back of the room.

((Apologize for the length, but I'm like falling asleep at the computer lol Night guys, I'll be on tomorrow!!))

Nick walked out of his last class and went to his locker to drop off his things. He then took a walk around the school and finally made his way to the room where the club was going to be. He giggled at the name that was on the door. It really did fit this club perfectly. He took a deep breath and looked around to make sure nobody was in the hall. He didn't see anyone so he grabbed the door nob and turned it and walked in the room. He looked into the room and smiled a little bit as he looked around at the kids that were in here and he was shocked but definitely happy to see these kids in here. "Um hey guys how's it going?" Nick said shyly, nick was never shy he was a pretty outgoing person but yobs was definitely nerve wracking for him.

Daniel shut the door and climbed up on top of the old instructor's desk at the front of the room. He stood on the hard oak top and placed his hands on his hips and looked up at a the sky pretending to be a model. He was queer and he finally had a safe place to unleash his inner f*g. He looked down at the group with his bright blue eyes. He was only around 5'6" but his combat boots gave him an extra inch and a half.

"I'm assuming y'all got my advertisements on the social medias," he said to the group. He scanned everyone in the room and chuckled to himself a little,"Damn...I didn't expect to see another gay boy..." He looked at Olive,"Or girl to show up to my lottle glee club. Well anyways...welcome to the first coc meeting of the year. This club is the Vegas of our high school. Understood?" He didn't wait for an answer he just continued,"What is said in this club never leaves these doors. This is the AA for the queers of our school where they can express there feelings and not be judged. I would like to welcome everyone today. I'm going to introduce myself, you don't have to but you can if you want to. My name is Daniel and I'm a homosexual. I'm on the swim team and the only people who know I'm gay are my mother, father, ex-lover, and my drag mama." He chuckled again and sat down on the top of the desk cross legged. He smiled awkwardly at the group and added,"Sorry I'm underprepared...lol. Got any questions?"

Sylvester ducked behind Kade, he really didn't want to be here, but it would be too awkward if he tried to leave now. He watched as Daniel climbed up on the desk and gave his little speech, still clinging to his friend with hopes of avoiding getting too much attention, which was easy if the room lacked the presence of bullies.

Kade sighed, at least Sylvester hadn't run off...Yet. He glanced around, he recognized some of the faces, but he had yet to talk to any of them, Kadence assumed they were upperclassmen, though he could be wrong... He always assumed people were older than him, though he couldn't tell, aside from Sylvester he didn't know anyone older than him, or taller than him, though that wasn't the point. He just sat there in silence, hoping the other people in the room would be friendly, but he wouldn't know until they started talking, if they did start talking.

Olive giggled at the comment, waving a hand dismissively in front of him. Though it was oddly true, no other girls had showed up and he assumed most of the boys here were gay judged by Daniel's speech. It wasn't the most charming way to be introduced to a club that would possibly be the only club he'd go to and stay in for the rest of his school years. It was a sad scene to see attendants of a happy club be so shy and conserved, he felt like walking over and poking them all to see if they were statues put as decoys when they obviously weren't.

"I have a question!" Olive shot his hand up in the air and waved it to get Daniel's attention but soon gave up and asked his question anyways. "Did you intentionally choose that name for the club or did it just happen out of nowhere?" He asked, kicking his legs back and forth off the desk as he waited for an answer though didn't expect it really, it was a rather silly question to ask."Anyways...if no one else is going to introduce themselves first then I'll do it!" Olive found himself taking off his wedges and standing on the desk he'd been sitting on and clearing his throat to speak. "I'm Olive, you've probably seen me around, I mean I am pretty noticeable like this, I believe that I am asexual because I have yet to feel anything but an emotional connection to anyone, I'm a female, well there are a few things different about that explanation of my gender so don't call me names or else I'll crush you or kick you in your nuts with these shoes, trust me it will hurt a lot" He held up the wedges and shrugged once he knew he couldn't really say anymore. "Yeah, I wouldn't advise looking up my dress because it's not what you'd expect" Olive jumped down from the desk, waving at the shy boys, noticing one behind another boy, giggling to himself at the sight. "Well...ain't anyone else gonna introduce themselves...?"

Adam looked around the room and saw no one else offering to introduce themselves so he stood up and turned to face the group like he was in some sot of addiction support group. "Hey," he said with a small crooked smile, "My name is Adam, I'm a senior and I am a homosapien," he said just for laughs, "No," he cleared his throat and looked up at the group, "I'm a homosexual, and I suppose that now you guys are the only ones that know.

"I think that when I first realized that I was gay was in sixth grade, but all the guys at my school were going through puberty so it made them all unattractive," Adam laughed slightly, "I was outed by some girl, I can't even remember her name anymore, but she just kept asking me and asking me until the answer just slipped. After I was outed I was bullied on a daily basis, one of those bullies has actually transferred here. Yay. Um...I fell into a bit of a depression I guess, my mom got worried about me, but I told her not too, I started to cut, and in order to hide some of the scars I got tattoos," Adam the proceeded to take off his jean jacket to let his muscle shirt show off the tattoos that covered his arm (see CS pic).

"Half way through seventh grade I tried to hang myself, my mom had found me barley alive, and the report made the news, and the kids at school found out. The torment made me want to do it again, but my mom said we were moving out of Illinois to here, so I didn't.

"In the eleventh grade my mom started to get sick, so we took her to the hospital where she was diagnosed with lukemea, they told her she had maybe three months. But she's still here, almost two years later; so I'm praying even though I'm not religious.

"Basically I've stuck to the shadows I guess, I didn't have a real friend but I guess right here I can make some new ones. It's time to not hide anymore, so ya. That's me and my story," he said with a small nod before he sat back down in his chair sinking down in the seat.

Nick looked around the room and figured he would go next. He climbed on top of his desk and looked around the room and smiled. "My name is Nick I'm 15 a sophomore and star of the soccer team. Well for anyone who's been going to this school for at least a year, you are probably surprised to see me here. I don't really give off that vibe that I am homosexual but well I am. In 7th grade was when I knew I had no interest in girls. Now you guys are the first people I've told and you have no idea how great this feels to finally be able to tell someone." Nick kept smiling at everyone and then sat down on his desk with his legs crossed like Daniel was doing.

Drew confidently stood. "I'm Drew, I'm 18, a senior, and a homosexual. I've known since 8th grade, but never told a soul except for my little sister. I'm captain of the baseball team and I play guitar. Nothing more to say, that's who I am, and it's nice to meet you guys." Drew said, sending a wide and bright smile across the whole room.

Troy remained in the back, listening to everyone as they introduced themselves. He was dead silent. He was so shy, he was shaking out of nervousness. He slowly stood, making the old desk creak. He felt like an elephant in the room. "Uh..." He said quietly, but loud enough for everyone to hear him since he was in the back alone. "My name's Troy....I'm 16. A sophomore. I've always been a loner...I'm kind of an outcast...incredibly shy...and gay, if you haven't guess." Troy almost lost breath after saying that. Nobody's ever heard him say so many words before. Shyness always got the better of him...he sat back down immediately.
