Futuristic The Codes of Humanity

Error yanked the moment he grabbed onto the soap, making him soar into the air andhave chains wrap tightly around him. "...?" He said, asking what Shadowlords tasted like. He started a fire and put him in it.

Bether smirks "looks like i have no choice" he said, Bether suddenly disappeared and traps Error in a hole "that's what you get from interrupting my bath hmph" he said.

He chains a tree and pullls himself out. He dusted himself before chaining him again and tossing him in the water.

"..." He said, due to prafanity issues I will not translate this. He then returned to fishing in the lake with his chains.

Yuki's alarm blared and she sat up, fumbling to turn it off. She rubbed her eyes warily with the heels of her palms. A big yawn pushed through her lips and she collapsed backwards again.

"No school," she mumbled to herself, eyes closed and with a smile. She pushed herself up and strolled into the hallway.

"Dad?" She called, peering both ways. She knew mum was away visiting family, but she had no idea where dad was. Probably at a meeting.

She flopped onto the couch in the living room, clicking on the TV with a yawn. The channel was on the news, and she was about to switch, when her ears perked up at "HDF". The shot cut away from the reporter and zoomed in on a blonde woman being held off the ground, almost cradled, by... Did that guy have.. Wings? And a halo? Yuki sat up, paying attention to the words now.

"... and the General of the HDF has been seen... there has been a meeting of high ranks in..."

Yuki peered at the screen, and saw her dad exiting the building before the shot cut away. Yuki sat back and reached over to the coffee table, picking up the landline. She dialled her dad's mobile and pressed the phone to her ear.

Nathan walked down a series of allys, turning every which way until he was sure he wasnt being followed by who knows what.

"Alright, thats the last of those seven stains, now I need to look for Jame-" he stopped mid sentence because he turned down one more ally and at the end he saw a mass of crushed vehicles throughout the streets.

"What the hell happened here?" He audibly asked himself as he looked up and down the road.

Elle examined the interesting battle between Bether and Error, smiled to see Bether gone after the whole ordeal and Error fishing. She desired to join in, but it seemed like Error had it taken care of. Strolling towards him and the others then quietly sat down beside him whilst he fished. Elle waved to the others silently, not quiet comfortable with them to speak freely. "Nice moves.", referring to Error's actions once she stared at the water. She didn't quite understand how comfortable and calm it was to be around Error; especially just meeting the night before, but it was more pleasant than being alone. Elle handed him back his phone untouched before holding her orb with both hands. Maybe she might get a phone like it, but she couldn't dare simply take Error's. She'll buy one once she gets settled in a home. Home...will be difficult to find when the search begins.

As Bether goes inside to an abandoned building "why did those codes interrupt my bath" he said.He sits down a chair with anger and the chair broke "ow it hurts" he said in pain.

Koga's phone goes off in hi room while he's changing his clothes. Curious, he checks the number before heading downstairs. Walking up begin his daughter, he rifles her hair.

"You rang?"

Sturs appears behind Bether, taking notice of his injuries.

"What happened to you?"

Yuki felt her hair ruffle and looked up.

"Dad," she said with relief, "I saw on the news," she said. The TV was still on but the story was moving on.

Yuki frowned "I called out," She said, "and no one replied!"

Adrian sat in his cubicle, leaning back in his office chair. He let out a long, loud groaning sigh which earned him a few stares. He ignores them and twiddled his pen between his fingers. He hadn't gotten what he needed. What he needed, was connections.

He flicked on the small TV he has shoved into the small space and surfed til he found the news. There was a blonde check and a pretty scary looking dude holding her up. According to the news, that dude was a Code and the chick was from HDF. Something Jones, she had a weird arse long title before it.

This could be his break, if he could get to that Code...

Koga smiled down at his daughter and apologized. "I was upstairs getting changed. You know how soundproof my room can be sometimes," he replied, walking around the couch to take a seat next to her, "so you saw the news?" He assumed she must have seen him on TV if she'd called.

Yuki scooted over and leaned against her dad. "Yeah they said some high ups had a meeting," she said. "And there was this girl and the Codes protected her," she chatted excitedly. "And the reporter said that the Shades were all defeated in a few hours," she smiled. "Did you help?" She asked, admiring eyes on her dad.

As much as Koga would have liked to tell her that he'd been out there fighting or something, he knew that was not the case. He'd only gone to the meeting - a meeting far too early in the morning. "I'm afraid not sweetly. I certainly wasn't in Brush city recently and the only thin I've done is go to a meeting in the matter; the HDF is trying to decide what to do about the Codes."

Yuki looked up, a little disappointment.

"Why do you have to do anything?" She asked, "Couldn't you just let them fight stuff? What do they want?" She bombarded him with child-like curiosity and questions. She wanted to meet one, a Code! That would be exciting.

"Are you going to Brush city soon? Can I come?" She asks hopefully.

"So, uh ... should I put you down or something?" Extant asked Minerva calmly.

"I mean, unless you prefer the view up here, or something."

It wasn't that he didn't mind holding her, was actually kinda nice to feel the warmth of another person, but the people she worked for didn't seem as cuddly as she was. More liable to try shooting him up than anything else, really. Though he did scare small children ...

"Also, should I be worried about these ... cars of yours?"

Koga hummed in thought. He hadn't had any plans to go to Brush anytime soon, but he figured he could spoil his daughter every so often. First though, he'd answer her questions. "I didn't do anything because I couldn't. I was sleeping when most of this happened until the meeting that is. As for what to do with them, though I don't think it's moral, the HDF owns the Codes. They want them back in their control so, while I think it would be fine for them to enjoy Earth with their freedom, my higher ups want them recaptured in a sense," he pauses, "Lastly... sure. You can come to Brush with me," he adds with a smile.

Error put the phone back in his pocket before fishinng once more. He felt a tug and yanked the chain, out flew the chains and fish. He caught it and put it over the fire before fishing on ce more. He didn't understand it, but somehow he felt content being around her.

Yuki's face lit up with excitement, she's going to Brush! She hugged her dad and smiled, "Thanks dad," she laughed. "Y'know when mum's back?" She asked after a moment, Codes and Shades and HDF forgotten for a while.

Minerva laughed. "Though the view is nice, I might want to be on the ground when our people arrive," she wasn't sure how her bosses would take her being held by a Code, but she doubted they would find out anyway. She had a good reason, right? "You don't need to worry, I'll protect you," she declared seriously, not really sure what she would possibly protect him from. She looked around for the other Codes, but the area was mostly deserted bar from a few humans milling about.

As she scanned the area she noticed the cameras and reporters framing the area, film crews and boom microphones and news vans.

Her face paled slightly and she realised that she had probably been caught on camera already.

She tapped Extant and whispered, "Put me down,". Her eyes flicked around worriedly. She was always so professional, but in these short hours, her act had come completely undone. She needed to get herself under control before more damage than just the wreckage around them was done.

Adrian pushed through the crowd congregating around the crime scene, his not book in hand and a pencil behind his ear. The news crews framed the area nicely and he managed to push free of them shortly. No one moved to stop him, so he jogged towards the centre of the carnage, his mission clear in mind.

((OOC it's okay if two of my characters interact right?))

Koga shook his head. His wife had called him just yesterday, telling him she may need to stay a little longer. Her family thought it best if she didn't leave yet, considering how the Codes were free now. "Sorry, sweetie. I don't know. Now go get ready. We'll leave for Brush when you're done."

Extant nodded, and set her down.

"No muss, no fuss... Seems like we're been ditched and your media people have shown up anyway." He frowned. Now that was something he didn't want. To be seen by the world at large, if anything, he was the worst one that could be shown off on television. He didn't even look human.

He cleared his throat and chuckled awkwardly and pointed at one of the camera men.

"So do I need to hide somewhere? Because I can hide somewhere."

Nathan slowly walked down the street of decimated automobiles in wonder.

"Another code was here, thats for sure. But which one?" He wasnt good with remembering those who he felt had the right to live. Only those who had hurt him had a place in his memory.

"Whatever, I got places to be." He said to himself as he went back to the alleyways. He was headed for the place he hated most. His childhood home.

Yuki jumped up and raced to her bedroom. She shuffled in her drawers and pulled out some jeans and a t-shirt. She spent some time showering and dressing, before walking to the kitchen for some breakfast. She buttered a quick piece of toast. "Dad, do I need to pack a bag?" She called out, not sure where she was.

Minerva smoothed out her hair and looked around her. "No, well- do you want to hide?" She thought it might be fine, but she had no idea about what the HDF planned about the Codes. The world was already well aware that they had fallen, so what would be the point of hiding?

So far none of the news crews had come any closer, but all the cameras were surveying the area attentively. An attractive tall man was jogging towards them, a notepad and pencil equip. She sighed, not a journalist...

"Well, I mean, I'm on TV ... I wouldn't think that's a good thing."

He gestured back at the guy running up behind him. "Also, this guy .. I mean, I get the feeling that this has the potential to end badly. But that's just me." He shrugged. "Too late now though, I guess."

Koga thought about it for a moment when his daughter asked. He figured staying a day or two there wouldn't be too bad. "Yes, we may stay there for a day or two," he replied.
