Futuristic The Bubble

I will be providing information on the Enders today, I apologize for the wait.

The Ender characters will be able to be played out from the beginning, but it will be their everyday life.

Generic Ender information is up.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Awesome. I've given it a read and I think I have something in mind.

I might have a few questions with regards to Ender technology and reasons for banishment.

Haven't quite decided whether I'll have the character born in the bubble, or the outside world.

Any breaking of the rules results in banishment. The rules are in the overview.

Ender technology is what they can make.

You can always make two, if you can keep up with 'em. :')

I'll throw together a character profile and get it posted :)

I imagine there must be some remnants of past civilisation in the 'wasteland' the Enders populate? Scraps of technology, rundown structures, weapons, apparel?

Absolutely, but they'd be extremely rare and would make you a object of envy.

Odds are, you wouldn't last very long with the items.

Cool. I'll have to try and figure a way through that.

On one hand, I don't want to play someone with rags and a stone club... but on the other hand, I do like the idea of desperate survival.

I have a distinct feeling this character is going to be alone, rather than running with a 'bandit' group or being amongst the banished settlers.

@Mortem

How much from what Adam can do in this trailer is considered reasonable if my character would be a Guard?

Of course, I would tone down every feature the guy has to make it more manageable.

Regarding balance, I'd come up with an energy system of sorts, but I'll wait for you to also elaborate on Technology.

There was one more thing Adam could do in the previous game that he didn't in the new trailer. He could grab someone's face and then violently rotate his hand while slamming said someone to the ground.

I'm going to have to check this out later, but I'll get back to you.

I've been having a good think about Ender life and I have a fairly finished product with regards to a character.

There are just a few things I want to double check before I complete it.

I have written in a section about slavers/bandits in the wasteland, as the characters history has ties with them. Would it be suitable enough to assume that the slave caravans would have developed their own languages over time?

Also. With regards to transport. I know you mentioned that old technology and weaponry would obviously make you the object of envy, but larger groups of bandits/raiders would more than likely carry a decent amount of equipment safe in the knowledge that they're part of something bigger and scarier. As in, too big and scary to steal from.

I'm not sure about their own language, as they were all from an English speaking civilization. They wouldn't have the need to make a new language. However, if you could elaborate a bit more I might allow it.

The bandit thing makes sense. I agree with that.

I'm honestly not too concerned about the language thing at all. It was more of an enquiry. This character will have been on the outside for most of their lives, so if there were other languages, they would be able to speak them by now.

Other than that, I'll get to work on something for you to look over!

I might have crapped over all my CS, hold up.

It's not 100% done. I'll have to fill in with Information.

I have no qualms with any of the abilities in the video nor the one you mentioned, seen as how you're going to tone them down a bit.

The only problem I might have would be God Modding, but I can't see you doing that, so go for it.
Have you got any solid ideas about how you want to kick this off?
I have a Higher-Up in the making and I'll be using her to kick it off, and yes I do have a solid idea.

However, more people are needed before I can do this.

There were a ton more augmentations in-game actually, but I'll draw the line at only a few. I'll elaborate in the CS. Also how many more people are needed?

We have two WIP teens and we need a total of five. Higher ups and what not would be nice, but not required. So, three.
I take it you've thrown something up onto the Interest Check?
I have not as of late. I'll most likely end up doing so today at some point, but I've been sick and still am, so I won't promise anything.

Being a Guard is considered higher up or citizen? I'm assuming it's the former.

Hopefully that will interest enough people for you to get started.

With regards to Ender characters, I'd just be posting something entirely separate from anything else going on inside the bubble, correct?

Indeed it is the former.

Guards, government officials, engineers and scientists would be considered higher ups.

You are correct, yes.
