Realistic or Modern The Blood {Restart, New Characters Welcome}

He turned to her with a tired smile, but nodded anyway.

"Alright, if you really want."

Walking toward the door he held it open for her, and would have followed right behind her.

"It's late and Red hasn't returned yet though, should I get worried or do you girls randomly disappear when you have your things?"

The italian joked lightly, expecting Artemis to either punch him or something.

Artemis {Sixteen} Second-In-Command

~ Rooftop ~

Artemis flipped around wearing a scowl, "I doubt she has a double life working in a whorehouse." Artemis then playfully punched Coriolanus in the chest for such a comment. When a woman returns late at night, 'something' apparently happened, but when men return home late it was 'just' a movie with a 'friend'.

Artemis continued walking down the steps, and put one hand through her thick raven waves which possessed a few dark chocolate streaks which can only be seen in the sunlight. As she approached the door, she could hear muffled voices and cries. She immediately put her defenses up and ripped the door open with her foot, only to find members fighting over a couple of pound notes. The embarrassed members soon pulled themselves off the other as the second-in-command approached, tutting. "Seriously." She laughed, sucking her teeth and soon displaying such a bitchy expression she almost looked like a mean girl.

"You three are fighting over money, when we need to find out who trashed our home?" Artemis found the three men muttering apologies and joining in with the open interrogation on Hunter.

When Artemis tensed, he immediately had his dagger ready. But Coriolanus wasn't really tense, because those voices sounded quite familiar.

"Guys!" He hissed as he saw some soldiers fight over, shaking his head to them once the second in command had turned her head.

Walking along her side to the first line he went to whisper in her ear "Do you think Stallion will decide to kill him?"

It wasn't really romantic, but the young enemy soldier bothered him. What if he had a microspy on himself? At the same time killing him seemed like a waste, he'd rathee use him to deliver a message.

Artemis {Sixteen} Second-In-Command

Artemis shrugged. "He is unpredictable, most likely would send the scout back and would organise a raid so then The Wolves know he told his information. The his own family will end up killing him." The raven haired girl fidgeted, she could not stand it any longer.

"Hold on a second, I need to change, this dress is really pissing me off." She muttered before stepping into her room. It was sort of trashed but her clothes were still there, littered over the room. "It was always like this anyway so, they did a really bad job." Artemis told herself as she took off her dress, undressing herself and allowing the cold wind to seep through the windows and caress her bare skin. Coating her body with an acid washed, high waisted denim shorts and a sleeveless tee which read 'fuck you' in black. Her hair was usually let out, so she combed it with a few strokes and then slipped on her black converse sneakers.

That raid in the shopping centre was fun, and these shoes were cute. It was Stallion's best idea yet. She admired her footwear before entering the trashed board room to find members looking back at her as her bedroom door shut. She caught Stallion's eye and he made a confused face as if to say 'How is what you are wearing any better than before?'

He nodded at her statement, muttering "I liked it, but alright."

Coriolanus watched the scene intently, stopping himself from the need of beating Hunter.

Walking up to Stallion he spoke softly "Perhaps we should decide his fate quickly, the other members seem to be getting quite...feisty."

He moved his blue glaze to the group, who either seemed about to start a riot or were fighting between each other for futile things.

Along with Stallion, his eyes moved to Artemis' form, and he couldn't help but stare at her new attire.

He hoped his leader didn't notice that his attention couldn't help but always move to the younger girl, and neither the fact that Artemis had been wearing his jacket.

He took a cautious step back, had the smoke covered her scent?

Red smiled and nodded. "Don't worry, I know the way. Just follow me." She began to lead the way down the dark streets and alleyways, before they appeared in front of the grotto. Red nodded for Paint to go in first. "I need to do something first."
"What are you doing?" Paint asks, her stomach sinking. Sure, she was part of the gang, but she was still scared of them. In any case, Paint enters the grotto with the posture of a submissive servant. Her shoulders were slumped and her head was tilted down. She didn't make any eye contact.

Stallion seems to be interrogating someone and that sends shivers down Paint's spine. She's really not very comfortable with the gang yet. That's why she doesn't generally stay at the Grotto. Looking around her, Paint sees the third in command, Coriolanus. He's looking at Artemis. Paint wants to say hello, but she's at the bottom rung of the gang and she's not sure she's allowed to even look at the superior members.

Red noticed Paint's behavior and sighed, following after a second. When she saw the submissive posture, she gently rested a hand on Paint's shoulder, a light reassuring gesture before moving to stand a respectful distance from the group. Hoping to be disregarded, she kept her posture natural and relaxed, but on the inside she could feel the turmoil building up.

Paint looked at Red with a small smile. Thank God for Red. If Paint were to lose Red, she'd probably just leave the gang. She knows no one here but Red. Paint follows Red, standing by her side like a loyal puppy. "What is going on?" Paint asks quietly, watching the other members warily. "Why is that boy tied up?"

"He is part of a new, rival gang." Red muttered, eyeing the boy. "They thrashed the Grotto, and he was on the oppisite rooftop taking pictures." Red kept her voice quiet, looking around the room. "Stallion is interagating him."

"Why would they thrash the Grotto?" Paint asks, more to herself. "Hey, Red? Are we allowed to talk to the superior gang members? Or are we only supposed to talk if spoken to?" Paint fidgeted with her shirt. She needs to know the rules. Rules are important.

Artemis {Sixteen} Second-In-Command

Artemis sighed as she spotted Red walk in with Paint, who was quiet most of the time and still had not figured somethings out. "Of course you can speak to us, we are bloody monsters." She muttered to herself. She knew Red probably thought she was rude, but she could not help but make sly comments. Artemis crossed her arms, clutching Coriolanus' leather jacket. Walking over to the handsome male she handed it over and plastered on a smile.

"Thanks."

"For what?" A voice replied, and it was not who she was talking to. It was Stallion.

"None of your fucking business dickhead." She muttered.

He too raised an eyebrow on the two new entries. So that's who Red had spent the night with?

Coriolanus had thought of Paint as too young when she joined, too young and perhaps even a little bit of a coward, but he wasn't one to judge. People like her were the best types of liar, so he would have had to watch out.

With a calculated smile he nodded at the both of them, laughing off at Artemis' somehow rude statement.

"If you need something, ask me. Whatever it is." (@Quiet Is Violent)

Then Coriolanus turned to the second in command, and grinned at the girl. Instead of taking the jacket, he held it for her.

"Keep it. Maybe it's a bit large, but the cool kids wear it this way now."

Then again a familiar voice reached his ears, and he almost froze. Did his leader suspect something? And most of all, why did Coriolanus not care?

His eyes moved between Stallion and Artemis as she answered him, again quite rudely. The italian really hoped that no fight would rise between the two friends, especially no fight in which he was involved.

He fought his instict to touch Artemis and comfort her, only keeping an hard stare on both higher ups.

Paint smiled at Coriolanus. "Thanks, sir." She whispered, looking at her feet. Paints a little scared of Stallion, and when he approaches she cowers back a little. To Red, Paint asks "is she allowed to speak to him like that? Won't he get angry?" Paint glances at Artemis quickly, then lowers her face again.

Red chuckled. "Yeah, he'll get angry, but the two are friends and are" she lowered her voice to a whisper, "both hotheaded and stubborn." She grinned and returned to a normal voice level. "Just wait, some drama is unfolding in front of our very eyes.

Artemis {Sixteen} Second-In-Command

Artemis' grey eyes twinkled and her lips curled into a small smile, "Fine, since you insisted."

Then her ears twitched as she heard Paint muttering something. "When will you stop picking up people, do we not have more than enough?" Artemis punched Stallion on the chest playfully where he reacted by grasping her wrist, trapping her in one position and ruffling her raven waves.

"Fuck off, small." Stallion laughed, using the nickname Slim and Stallion thought of.

"I do not think so, Big. News flash, not so small anymore." Artemis smirked as she pushed him off. It was a thing between the three, Stallion was big, Slim was tall and Artemis was small.

Red smiled, feeling her heart quiver slightly. This felt normal, this felt like what a family was supposed to be like. She grinned and decided to bite her tongue, not wanting to say anything that might ruin the moment, taking in the sight of everyone getting along. For once in a long while, everything felt all right. Everything felt normal.

He smiled at the scene, suppressing the need to glare at Stallion's action. But he inside he felt the different relationship she had with the leader, and it made him dubious.

The italian scratched his chin, where a light stubble had started to grow.

"Damn it, Stallion mate do you have any shaving cream left? I really don't feel like going to the shop anytime soon."

Stallion {Eighteen} Gang Leader

Stallion nodded as Coriolanus rubbed his chin, spotting the tiny hairs he had grown. "In my room." Stallion could not yet trust anybofy to go inside his bedroom yet, atleast not without him.

He lead the way, leaving Artemis trying on the jacket which Coriolanus left her. He did think the two were quite close all of a sudden. After opening the door and allowing Coriolanus to peek into the middle-sized room, he sighed.

"This is where the magic happens." He gestured over to his bed, grinning.

His room contained little things such as a dart board where he practised throwing knives, his bed where pieces of stolen jewellery lay underneath, a chest of drawers where he neatly folded his clothes into and a full length mirror. Opening the chest of drawers, he pulled out the shaving cream. "You are very lucky, there is a little left, enough to take that stubble off your chin." Stallion then thought for a second and decided o ask the question which was lurking in his head.

"I noticed you and Artemis. Did you fuck her?" Stallion then broke into a chuckle, he was unaware of the love which Artemis had once had for him. He thought of her as a little sister.

Paint sighed. Two people left and that left her with only Red and Artemis. She backed away from them both. "I'm going to... Have to work on..." Paint mumbled out the beginning of sentences as she started to leave. "I'll see y'all around..." Paint turned and left then, holding onto her backpack straps tightly.

Artemis {Sixteen} Second-In-Command

"Hey, come here for a second." Artemis shouted, curious to see who this quiet one was. Artemis straighted up the collar of Coriolanus' jacket which she was wearing, it had his scent of smoke lingering. Artemis then peered as Paint started walking off.

Can she throw a knife? she asked herself.

Paint stopped. Oh god, she thought to herself. She turned around, keeping her gaze fixated on the ground. "Yes, ma'am?" She asks quietly, not daring to look up.

Coriolanus felt quite honored about following Stallion, since no living human except for him had probably ever put foot in that section of the building.

He whistled upon looking at it's insides "You treat yourself well, don't you?" The italian almost felt the urge to reach his hand out and shuffle something in his pockets, but fought it.

Kleptomania had always followed him around like a wolf, waiting for a moment of weakness to strike.

Too busy in his thoughts he almost didn't hear Stallion's question, and out of instinct he spoke italian "Cosa?" But then the question became clear, and the third in command's mind raced.

They didn't fuck, no, but they did kiss. It would be a lie to say they were merely friends, but what if Artemis didn't want the truth to be known? Coriolanus set for an omission.

"No, dude." He answered with a well faked grin, after all they really hadn't.

'Pff, I wish.' The eighteen year old thought.

Artemis {Sixteen} Second-In-Command

"Ma'am? No, I do not think so. I like Artemis better." Artemis sighed, so it was another one of those kind-hearted and polite ones.

"Come here are throw this at me, I need to see your aim newbie." Artemis pulled out her engraved dagger from her denim shorts pockets and held it out in her palm.

Artemis wanted to observe how Paint's aim was, would she aim for her face or somewhere else? Would it even go near her at all or hit the ground. She would need to know whether she was a fighter, a scout or a spy. Where would she fit in The Blood.

"I can catch it, trust me." Artemis sighed, throwing the dagger into the air and catching it with a firm grasp.

Red laughed. "She's got her own knife, I don't know how good she is at throwing however." Red winked at Paint, an 'I-told-you-so' expression on her face. "She had a great aim with her paint, however."

Paint takes the knife reluctantly. "I don't really... Fight..." She balances the blade in a finger, to see how it would throw. As she does this, she walks about ten feet away. Then, she takes it by the handle, decides to aim at Artemis' sternum, and throws. It isn't the most accurate throw, but it headed in the general direction of Artemis' chest. Paint closes her eyes, hoping against hope Artemis catches it.
