Lord of the Storm: You've got "Gets an additional Focus" down on your sheet for iaijutsu; you might wanna check the 4e duelling rules, as I believe they're a bit different and it doesn't work like that...

Truthfully, I've only got 3rd, but Thorn said getting it updated to 4th shouldn't be difficult...

Ah, right. Iai's one of the big differences- you only focus once, now, and get your normal ATN, and stuff. I got in at 4th, so I don't know the 3rd details, unfortunately.

yeah, keep file sharing off of our site. I won't say no to it, as I got my pdf through less reputable sources, but, I will say, for the record, it's totally worth ordering a dead tree version. Very beautiful book, plus, supporting the company and all :)

If anyone has 2 points to burn, there is a new advantage available. Trained Falcon. Poke me if you want more info

Well, small pets -are- an option in your Travel Pack.

Also, full Emerald Magistrate Charter is posted now.

My backstory is complete. Let me know if there is any issues worth bringing up (and most likely there will be).

Blahhhh, sorry, need to get it written up and solid in the gaps between attempting to get all my uni work done...

I'm almost positive that they don't let Shugenja wear armor. Either by the rules or by culture but I can't find it in the 4th ed book. It's likely me just missing it but if anyone can point me to the page it is on I'd appreciate it.

It's not that big of a deal. I mean I'm not gonna be wearing it in the city or have it with me even if I had it. I just can't see anyone on the wall not wearing armor if it didn't hamper them.

I see nothing that says they cannot, except the rules against being distracted. Perhaps armor is distracting to wear while casting? This is the impression I'm getting, which means, the answer is 'yes, but, you'll have to make concentration rolls'

On that note, that's light armor I'm considering 'distracting' Heavy armor it specifically says even soldiers do not wear unless absolutely needed as they are quite encumbersome.

Cool so it'd be a TN 15 willpower roll (That's the number listed if your pushed or jolted rather then attacked) or something more like TN 10 or 15 + the TN increase of the armor. So Ashigari armor would be less distracting from light.
