Striker looked at Luca *to bad he's trying to kill me kinda cute..*she's thought frowning she looked at Luca "I'm a pain your the pain.. " she said rolling her eyes she looked at dolly and then Luca "can someone pry him off of me " she said frowning"someone anyone?"she asked .


Milo smiled at mio "hmm i think it's sad that they won't let their kids date whoever they want to..I mean I'm all for keeping different bloodlines strong..but ..doing stuff like your not allowed to date whoever you want is stupid I think what about you ?" He asked blinking watching her . Bane chuckled "well rowans having that cookout soon we can go and see them all but atleast she used to bring them over when they were smaller " he said smiling. Melinda smiled before looking at Ulric and kissing his cheek "thanks.." She said smiling "my grandfather's teaching me to run the store well own it anyways ..technically I do but.. Still " she said smiling.

Luca grumbled at her comment. "Look beautiful. I'm just doing my job." He told her with huff. Sometimes he hated his job. More so when it came to ones like this. Dolly grabbed him by the arm and body slammed him into the table while he wasn't paying attention. She knew it would stun him enough for Bren to tie him up. She was worried Mason might lecture her though. Luca gasped trying to get a breath after hitting the table. He soon found himself tied to a chair. "Great..."


Mio gave a nod and sighed. "I agree. It is sad and sometimes it only makes the blood line weak." She sighed as they walked. "My mom told me that there were a few hunter families that died off because of something like that. Their children didn't make it through infantry." She sighed. Nia gave a nod and sighed. "Yeah. Where is Valky? She's normally here with you and Kaia too." She sighed a little shocked those two weren't there. Ulric smiled and gave a nod. "What will you do when you come to live with me?" He asked a little curious. He wondered if she could leave the store.

Striker looked at Luca "well ..that's done..now on two the questions but sadly I don't get to ask them.." She said frowning before looking at dolly then she noticted masons face *he looks pretty pissed..*she thought frowning. Mason looked at dolly before grabbing her hand "..does bren need you know..if not..I'd love to resume our little game..soon " he said eyeing dolly with the only you ever do that again looks that could only come from mason.


Milo sighed watching mio "sounds about right..you'd think they'd want to breed..vampires..with the way the put that stuff.. In those drinks.." He said Rollin his eyes remembering the sight he saw earlier.


Melinda stared at Ulric "I won't be the only one running the store ya know..and sides..you weren't ever in the plan before..I was supposed to get old..and collect animals. " she said watching Ulric she sighed lightly "either that..or..die before I get married.." She said sighing "..banes just teaching me I'm not the only he's teaching to run the store.." She said frowning "so..what do you like to do in your spare time..?" She asked tipping her head .

Bren chuckled hearing Mason. "goodness man, I see how you are when you aren't nose deep in books." He joked before waving them off. "I'm done. Go have your fun.. and before you go.. Pearl and I got married last night." He told him wondering how he would react. He had a slight suspicion that Dolly was pregnant by the way Mason looked at her, but he wasn't going to say anything. A part of him wondered if their mother had noticed it too. Luca huffed and sighed. "Well at least ya didn't kill me.. but it looks like I'm not getting paid this month.." He grumbled wondering what he was going to do about rent and food.


Mio gave a nod knowing what he was talking about. "Yeah it would seem that way. Dad doesn't believe in that method to much. Or at least he never forced my brother or I to drink that stuff." She sighed as they walked. Ulric gave a nod and sighed. "I know, but I was just wondering what you would do if you decide to stay with me as my wife. We could always make this a branch store and open your own branch over there.. that way you can still have your store. You could leave the one here to a relative maybe.." He offered as a idea since he didn't like the idea of taking her away from something she loved. "I.. um.. I build things. Invent is a better word for it I guess."

Mason looked at bren "congratulations ..tell the evil bitch I said hi.." He said giving a rather scary smile though he was happy for bren he was just mad "you know what I mean I'm sorry" he said frowning apologetically he sighed before dragging dolly towards the door. Striker looked at Luca "your kinda cute you know that ? " she asked blinking sitting down in wolf form "hmm to bad..you were doing your job..we might have been friends .. " she said watching him *..he's pretty..werid but okay I think he smells different from the norm*she thought


Milo sighed watching mio "..yeah yor dads...okay like that..so...a friend of mine..has this..job.. Mio..and i went ..and .. It was something else and not good..its the kind..that leaves you with chills..down your spine..ugly job "he said frowning.Melinda looked at him she was trying not to luagh slightly "I see.. I don't know..Ulric..I might I might not..I rather create..clothes.. Then run things.." She frowned lightly before sighing smiling"so about this wife thing..itr sounds alright I think.."she said giggling "my family..just figurird I die..alone..or end up taking care of them when they were old brittle and weak " she said rolling her eyes "I think..you were a shock to my mom system.." She said remembering her mothers face.

Bren just rolled his eyes at Mason. "Yeah I will. I'll tell her the grumpy study goat said hi." He told him in a brotherly way. "Get going before I take offense and bite you." He joked before turning to striker and Luca. "Are you really flirting with the guy that was trying to kill you?" He asked Striker with a shake of his head. "I'll offer you a deal man. tell me about the man that employed you and I'll pay you enough to get through the month." Luca raised a eyebrow at her and smirked. "Really? Well we could still be friends if you are willing to start over and put this behind us." He told her before looking at Bren and thinking about the deal. "Why not. Got nothing else to lose."


Mio gave a nod and sighed. "There are people like that." She told him as she leaned over and kissed his cheek. "There are dark things in the world that most people never see.. and that's probably the best for them." Ulric gave a nod and laughed. "I see. Well whatever you decide to do, I support you." He told her. "I'm glad you think it's not such a bad thing. I just hope your family will warm up to the idea of it." He sighed.

Striker looked at bren "and why not.. You already said..I wasn't the brightest crayon in the box...." She said looking at bren before rolling her eyes and turning into a human she would ask Luca her next question after he told bren she Gave a quiet sigh before bending down to Lucas ear "you ever done adult stuff..?" She asked in a whisper she sighed lightly "and don't ask why I asked that.." She said growling in a warning voice "i dont know maybe we could be friends..but you did try to kill me " she said watching him.


Milo frowned "I guess if there wasn't dark..it'd just be boring..but..do we acutely need bad people..everyone's constantly fighting..no one ever stops..and the people that aren't hunter or gypsy are caught in the mix.." He said frowning. Melinda looked at Ulric "I'm sure they will..if my mom..ever gets a werid look on her face ..it's cause..she's got a sinister ..plan to prank her mom.. Just in case you ever see that face Ulric and you will trust me ..so is there anything you'd like to do today or do you just want me to show you around?" She asked.

Bren just shook his head and grabbed his coat. "You two have fun together." He said as he walked toward the door. "He's not going to try and kill you any more." He assured her with a sigh. "And you have my number in case something comes up." He said as he walked out the door. Luca winked at her and chuckled. "That is for me to know and you do find out." He said as he leaned back in the chair. "I was only trying to pay my rent and afford food." He pointed out.


Mio sighed thinking about it. "I don't think there really is any thing such as good and evil.. just people." She told him with a sighed. "People that do good and bad things." She had never been one to think of things as black or white. Ulric gave a nod and took a note. "I'll remember that. When you meet my mother, don't worry she is naturally really compassionate. She likes to take care of people. I think it's because she lost all her children except me." He sighed as he thought about it. "I'd like to just hang out with you."

Striker looked at Luca before sighing before untying him"well come on..I guess I can take you my hotel room.. now "she said frowning before stopping and rubbing her head *ouch..that..still hurts pretty bad it's the inside but still *she sighed before looking at Luca " its were I live.."she eyeing him she gave a quiet sigh as she walked "so things you do other then work?" She asked watching him.


Milo frowned lightly "yeah i guess your right in some sense.. " he said sighing watching her "so if I did something bad would that make me bad in your eyes..?" He asked frowning lightly he gave a gentle a sigh watching mio "..hmm I can't wait for that pretzel stand " she said smiling.Melinda looked at Ulric "then can we go back to your hotel room so I can see it and watch a movie with you.." She asked smiling"any movie you want to watch ?"she asked watching him more so studying him.

Luca stood and stretched. "Sure. I live in a hotel too. The big one on main street by all the shops." He told her with a sigh. "I shop, go to the library, the park is nice too." He said thinking about it. "Sometimes I date people. Or invest in bad deals." He chuckled watching her. "So what do you do when you're not finding trouble?" He asked in a teasing way.


Mio looked at him and sighed. "Milo you will always be you no matter what happens or what you do. I might get disappointed in you but I'll always love you silly." She told him as she held onto his hand and swung it back and forth. Ulric gave a nod and smiled. "Sure we can go back there. I've never seen Disney movies before." He told her honestly. They didn't watch much tv back home.

Striker sighed lightly "I'll ignore that..comment and I'll let you know ..when I remember..I'm not sure ..but I have a feelings its something that leads to trouble " she said sighing watching him "though knowing me its probably perverted.." She said rolling her eyes .


Milo nodded before smiling he frowned slightly watching everything " well thats comforting " he said smiling " everyone's so busy anymore..have you noticed..its just like everyone only sticking close to their family..you notice that.? " he asked curiously watching her. Melinda looked at Ulric like he was from a different planet "well how about it I introduce you to my faveriotre ones..their princess ones so..get used to that" she said smiling at him "so you sure you want to watch the movies?" She asked curiouralt.

Luca chuckled at her comment. "So what are you going to do now? It's pointless to try to kill you any more, however, I'm sure they will hire someone else." He told her with a sigh. "Do you think that guy Bren is really going to be able to take care of all this." He was just curious because now he could be considered a target for not finishing the job.


Mio gave a nod and sighed. "I haven't really noticed. I've been to busy watching you.. and studying." She told him in a slight flirting way. "So um.. I've never met your family Milo?" She told him a little curious what they were like. Ulric gave a nod and smiled. "Sure. I still want to see them. even more so if you like them." He told her with a wink. He was flirting with a her a little.

Striker frowned "I know they will.." She said frowning "I'm not that dumb" she said sighing watching him as she got there "it's more of a bed and breakfast..then hotel..but the couples nice " she said smiling as she walked in she gave a quiet sigh she could sense a few other people but non important enough she sighed when she got to her room "this is my room.." She said opening the door "its not fancy but its relaxing " she said smiling .


Milo sighed lightly "no you haven't have you " he said frowning lightly "we will save that for another day alright " he said chuckling watching her "oh were here the flower shop.. " he said chuckling as he walked in he shed walking to the koi pond in the shop"..I helped catch the fish "he said lookin slightly proud of himself. Melinda looked at Ulric " what's wrong..with your eye.. ?"she asked looking at him before grabbing his hand "my hand feels so small compared to yours Ulric.. " she said watching his face wondering what he would say.

Luca gave a nod as he followed her. "Places like those are always nice, but the security in them isn't the best." He said having lived a life where one must always be on their look out. "It's nice." He told her looking around her room. "So do you normally bring guys here right after you meet them?" He teased her a little.


Mio smiled sitting by the pond and watching the fish. "I would really love to meet your family.. I mean you've met mine and they've welcomed you like one of the family." She told him looking up at him with her big round eyes. She really did care for Milo. He was like nothing she had ever encountered before. Ulric just chuckled and rolled his eyes at her. "I was trying to flirt with you." He told her with a sigh. "You are a little on the short side when put next to me. Just means you fit into my arms better." He told her.

Striker looked at Luca "yep i do " she said with a straight face and generally their shirt would have been off no usually we go to their place but we don't talk..I thought you might enjoy the food from here ..I eat free.. "She said smiling " well when it comes to the meat anyways " she said rolling her eyes she gave a quiet sigh watching Luca .


Milo sighed lightly "sure I guess you can meet my family..hmm just remember.. Their a little crazy alright " he said frowning lightly "their really really loud to and its crazy alright " he said sighing shaking his head. Melinda nodded "right flirting that's a new one for me..okay yeah smooth line..why don't you show me ..how well you can hold me..you know..girls like feeling protected" she said slightly rolling her eyes .

Luca gave a nod and chuckled. "I see. I'm used to taking girls to my place so this is a nice change." He told her with a sigh. "Though it would be better if I could get out of my assassin gear and into some normal clothing." He told her as he looked around. "You can't ever pass up free food."


Mio gave a nod and smiled. "That's fine by me. It would be nice to see what other families are like. I've only seen how my own family is." She told him with a smile. "Do you think they will like me?" Ulric pulled her into his arms so that her head was on his chest and his arms warped around him. "Do you feel safe with me?" He whispered into her ear wondering what she would say to that.

Striker nodded "I have some spare guy clothes in here..should be the right size for you..yo the first guy that's been in them.. " she said sighing before going to get them and coming back "here will that work..?" She asked watching him "so um...you can change in the bathroom if you want" she gave a quiet sigh "I'll go get the food while you do that.." She said smiling.


Milo nodded "um they might..I'm not sure yetb" he said sighing "don't be offended..if they say of the wall things.." He said frowning remembering last time he was home he slightly shock his head *oh boy..*he thought sighing.Melinda looked at Ulric "um i feel sometime hat safe..more..so conflicted then safe.. " she said smiling "oh..I need to pickout an outfit for the celebration moms having so I need to do that sometime " she said smiling.

Luca took the clothes and smiled. "Thanks." He told her as he walked into the bathroom to change. Coming back out he looked around the room trying to get a better sense of the person Striker was. In all his time in this line of work, this was the first time he was glad he hadn't finished a job. There was something about her, that he was just drawn to.


Mio gave a nod, "Off the wall doesn't bother me. After growing up with my brother I'm a bit indifferent when it comes to some things." She sighed knowing he already knew that. Ulric gave a nod and sighed. "So how many of your family members will be there?" He was curious since he was planning on going with her.

Striker sighed when she came up wit the food "I've for duck.. and some deserts.. And two beers.. Is that alright ?" She asked watching him she smiled "well your even better looking in those clothes " she said before walking over and sitting on the bed "you can sit down here ..anything you want to know about me? " she asked smiling at him before starting to eat.


Milo sighed "just remember you said that .." He said chuckling "hmm.. We can go see them now..if you..want " he said wrinkling his nose "everyone but me always late..anyways.." He said sighing watching mio .Melinda thought about it "both sets of grandparents..hmm..hopefully uncle caliborn and all my cousins bascilly it's going to be one big bowl of crazy.. Hopefully my aunt.. To.." She said smiling "hopefully kaia.." She said smiling "oh and dolly..my big sister " she said smiling "and my big brother..and of course sitka " she said smiling.

Luca grinned seeing her. "Sounds good to me, but I get whiny when drunk so only one beer for me.' He told her as he sat down and watched her. "I'm even better looking in no clothes." He told her with a wiggle of his eyebrows. "So tell me do you have any family? Or are you like me? I was abandoned when I was just a newborn because I inherited to much of my mother's blood." He said as he leaned back.


Mio gave a nod and smiled. "I'll remember and I would love to go now." She had always wondered about his family and now he was going to finally take her to meet them. "So.. could you show me your dragon form again..? I love the way your scales feel." She told him blushing a little about it. Ulric gave a nod and sighed. "You really love your family don't you?" He asked listening to the way she talked about them. "I wish I had such strong emotional bonds with my family. My father had a mental break down after my older brother died, he wont speak to anyone but my mother and swears he has no living children. My poor mother has been ruling in his place and trying not to mourn my siblings more then she already has." He sighed thinking about his life back home. "My Aunt is the closet member to me." He sighed missing her a little.

Striker looked at Luca "um I have a brother who shows up when he wants to ..he does what you do..only..a little different in another country.." She said frowning "..um no..I had my parents..then ..a car crash and ..sickness I was three then avalanche found me..." She said frowning lightly before looking at Luca with a teasing smile "oh I'm so sure you do " she said smiling .


Milo smiled at her "later alright .. " he said chuckling "hmm maybe ill make you blush more like that in the future " he said chucklin before getting up and walking "right now to many people " he said frpwning watching her.Melinda looked at Ulric "then I look forward to meeting your mom..she must be a strong woman..to do all of that..even if she's still mourning ..a woman and her children.." She said frowning "..your aunt hmm I'll look forward to meeting her to.." She said smiling "and yeah I am close to my family.. Mom makes sure ..to keep everyone close unlike her mom " she said frowning.

Luca gave a nod and sighed. "I have siblings.. though I have never met them. Last I heard my father drove the last one away." He chuckled thinking about it. "Guess that's what he gets for beings a prick." He sighed as he stuffed his face. "I'm not a very good assassin.. I'm in the wrong field of it. There are the assassins that kill the evil in the world and those that kill anyone. I just take any job given to me because it's easy money and I've gone hungry before and it's not fun." He sighed wishing he could be more like dolly.


Mio blushed just at the thought of him making her blush. "Promise? You are always so stingy about your dragon form. I've already promised a million times that I don't think it's weird and I'm not going to tell any one what it looks like." She huffed at him. She also loved the way he smelt but she wasn't going to admit to much right now. He had to work for something. Ulric gave a nod. "I'm sure they will be looking forward to meeting you too." He smiled watching her as he pushed open the door to his fancy flat of a hotel room. "You wanted to see my place right? This is it."

Striker nodded "I hunt for my food.." She said sighing "that's why I get all my food.. Free except for deserts" she said smiling before looking at Luca "then why don't you do what you want?" She asked blinking "you know two can survive better then one." She said smiling "so maybe we could survive together?" She said grinning.


Milo chuckled "yes I proisme mio..not right now alright " he said grabbing her hand before walking a little faster "mio..were here.." He said opening up the door he frowned hearing someone yelling already "hmm watch out.. " he said sighing "duck.." He said rolling his eyes.Melinda smiled "its really awesome.." She said smiling she gave a quiet sigh "so when we get close.. And everything and all I'd be living with you right ?'she asked watching him " I am a little nevrous about that and how my family will react to that "she said sighing lightly .

Luca smiled at her and sighed. "Two can survive better then one, but are you sure you'd want to survive with someone like me?" He asked her not wanting her to jump into something she might regret later. "If you don't think you'll regret it then I'll take you up on that. I'll even protect you from any other attacks."


Mio gave a nod as she walked with him. "Alright, but if you don't carry through with your promise I'm going to bite you." She told him as she walked into the house with him. She couldn't help but laugh a little at the chaos going on. "Is it always like this?" She asked ducking and looking over at him. Ulric gave a nod and chuckled. "Yes, thought you could choice to stay here and visit me instead." He told her knowing there were a few cases like that. His Aunt had been in a marriage like that once.

Striker nodded "why not.. And why wouldn't I as far as ..people like Us..go you seem to be fit .."she said smiling " would it be wrong to kiss you since I just met you?"she said sighing "I mean I've done worse then that..but I mean an acutely kiss " she said.


Milo nodded "yep..thats my mom and her mom fighting..." He said rollin his eyes "dads not here.." He said wriklin his nose"I have two siblings..both are boring people werid to you don't want to meet them "he said frowning ..Melinda looked at Ulric "but what's the fun in that.." She said grinning watching him "I don't think that would work..because...well.." She said blushing a deep crimson "I'm trying to think of the right way to say it..there's no other females ..that's might steal you away right.. I'm not going to have lock you away in a room right " she asked eyeing him .
