Bren gave a nod and smiled. "I'll send her a message." He assured her as he turned the music on and warped his arms around her. "You should really try to get some sleep. Class is in a few hours." He told her knowing they had spend a lot of the night together and awake to top it off. Lane rolled his eyes and sighed. "I take it you're not very smart." He muttered as he handed Avalanche the wine. "You can explain or you can just allow me to make assumptions." He told her as he sat down. "Now girl why on earth are you hiding?" He asked a little curious about that.


Mio smiled and gave a nod. "He should be here in a little bit if you want to meet him. We always walk to school together." She told him as she stood and looked toward the door. She always was excited to see him and she knew he felt the same. They had been close since first grade.

 

[Sirensong]

Pearl nodsex "you can go see your parentz or call them and if youd like " she said quietky before drifitng off to sleep .Striker eyed lane "hmm well I'm not exactly hiding yet.. I'm just staying clear..of them and it dosent mattwer why " she said wrinkling her nose "and you know with no school... No I'm not very smart.. " she said grumbling .Avalanche sighed "..well this is my street brat..good at hiding not so smart at everything else " she said frowning looking at lane "this is striker.." Sher said frowning .


Pride nodded "sure I'd like to meet him.. " he said wrinkling his nose not sure what to think "you really like him huh?" He asked smiling at her "hmm.. Does he like you back?" New asked.

Bren gave a nod and smiled as he watched her fall asleep. Once she was out he tucked her in and then stood up. He wrote her a note in case he wasn't back in time. He wondered what his parents were up to as he walked toward their house. Lane looked at her and sighed. "Better what you're self." He told her feeling like this girl could really push his buttons. "What are you hiding from then?" He asked her as he took a drink from his glass.


Mio gave a nod and sighed. "I do and he does. He's asked me out several times.. but I've told him no each time. He thinks that if our worlds can't allow us to be together we should find new ones." She sighed and frowned. "I don't think it's that easy though." She sighed knowing she had responsibilities to her family.

Striker looked at him"you watch yourself.. and why should i tell you i dont know if youll turn me over to them"she said eyeing him she sighed watching avalanche trying not to laugh *hmm why is she laughing..? about this this is not funny in anyway shape or form?*she wondred blinking she looked at lane"i have no reason to tell you i just met you.."she said watching him.


Pride frowned"its never that easy.. "he said frowning"atleast the way ive heard but..mio..maybe you should go out with him and if anyone stands in your way just call me alright"he said chuckling"ill plow them over with a truck okay"he said snickering watching for her reaction"im sure..mom and dad will help"he said chuckling.

Lane looked at her and sighed. "Fine, then I guess you don't need to be here." He told her with a smirk. "If you can't tell me then you must not need or want help, which means you don't need to be here right? You'll be fine if I just toss you out?" He was being sarcastic and he figured she could pick up on that much. Bren sighed walking into the house. "Hello?" He called wondering where every one was at.


Mio giggled and sighed, "Sure you will. Maybe. If he ask me again I'll say yes, but for now I'm not so sure." she sighed not wanting anything bad to happen to her friend. She had heard what some hunters have done in cases like these and it terrified her, though she wouldn't admit to it.

Striker walked up to lane and grinned"gladly..id rather get shot then have a ghost..help me"she said she was fixing to snarl when she felt someone slap her she grumbled seeing whom it was she rolled her eyes seeing avalanche walking towards the downstairs she frowned before blushing slightly "hmm i guess we got started off on the wrong foot"she said putting her head down. Avalanche frowned lightly as she came downstairs"hey bren..i guess pearl fell asleep huh?"she asked smiling she wastrying to hard not to laugh"hmm your missing the show"she said giggling.


Pride smiled "okay i get it"he said frowning lightly watching her "..so whats he like?"he asked smiling watching her he gave a quiet sigh*hmm your growing up to much *he thought frowning looking at her. Melinda sighed waking up *i wonder were Ulric is or what hes doing atleast..*she thought sighing before getting up and getting changed *..hmm breakfast..were should i eat it..this morning..im eventually going to see him sometime today *she thought.

Lane raised a eyebrow at her and sighed. "You do realize that I no longer hold any connections to the Ghost family. I was banished for having children with a gypsy." He pointed out as he started toward the stairs. He wanted to make that much clear to her before they went any farther. Bren gave a nod and smiled. "Yep, and really now? Dad find someone knew to push his buttons?" He chuckled thinking about how cranky his father could get now in his older age.


Mio sighed thinking of the best way to describe him. "Well he's funny, but has a sarcastic attitude. It would be better if you just met him." She told him hearing the door open. she was sure it was her friend. He didn't knock any more. Ulric smirked to himself knowing the Melinda was probably thinking about him. He couldn't help but feel proud of himself for finding such a lovely girl.

Striker growled lightly"it dosent matter your still a damned ghost.."she said rolling her eyes following him down she growled slightly when she smelt a new smell "..i still dont see how you can help me in any way shape or form"she said grumbling lightly , Avalanche noddeD"yeah ..my street brat striker.. is bugging him"she said trying not to laugh about it "ive never seen.. him so railled up..kinda another turn on.."she said smiling .


Milo looked around for mio"Mio hurry up "he said running around looking for her he frowned seeing pride"i dont need to run do i?"he asked sighing hoping not"cause he looks like an ass"he said frowning. Pride grumbled"im on my best behaviour mio..i wont kill him"he said though he seemed he might snap like a doll head soon. Melinda sighed before walking out *hmm..Ulric..i guess ill give him my answer today *she thoguht frowning lightly she gave a quiet sigh as she walked down the street "ulric.."she mumbled lightly *hes different i like that i guess..*she thought tilting her head.

Lane grumbled as he walked down behind her. "And you're still a damn brat." He told her as they got to the bottom. Bren sighed seeing her. "well this is awkward.. I've been looking for her. My boss told me she was in trouble and I need to find her and protect her.." He sighed rubbing his head. He wasn't sure how to handle this whole mess just yet.


Mio smiled waving at him. "Hey Milo!" She called to him and sighed. "It's just my older brother. He might be a grump but he promised to be good." She said giving Pride a warning look. She would bite him if he tried any thing. Ulric smiled to himself when he heard Melinda's voice. Walking up behind her he warped his arms around her gently. "Why hello beautiful." He whispered to her with a grin on his face. "Come to see me?"

Striker looked at lane before sticking her tounge out"tell me something i dont know "she growled before eyeing bren when she heard that"nope..you stay away..from me.. "she said crossing her arms watching him "..i dont need your help"she said before watching avalanches face twist, Avalanche frowned"she has no manners or filter bren..."she said rolling her eyes she watched bren"shes going to be kicking and screaming.,."she said rolling her eyes.


Milo nodded"cause he looks like he might be about to snap.."he said frowning"...i like your hair..different today"he said watching her he saw pride smile at mio he gave him a werid face"your brothers werid"he grumbled lightly. Melinda sighed lightly"yes acutely i did came to give you my answer ..ill do it.."she said looking at ulric "..so um what do we do from here?"she asked quietly"..youll have to teach me cause..your the first guy ive even thought about"she grumbled,.

Bren sighed looking at her. "It's either me or the mean dragon lady that is my boss. Trust me I'm the better of those choices." He chuckled and sighed knowing if Ivory heard him say that she would beat him up. "Or you could go back out there and get killed. I'm cool with that option too. I lose money, but I'm sure those assassins will gain more then enough to get by on." He told her with his arms crossed.


Mio blushed a little when he said that. "really..? It's nothing special." She mumbled not sure what else to say. "I'm not sure weird is the right word to describe him." She laughed as she walked over to Milo and took his hand. "I'd say crazy is a bit better but not by much." She was only teasing though. Ulric grinned hearing that. "well we court. Or date as you would call it. Then after a little while I'll take you to meet my family and we can talk about marriage." He told her with a sigh. He wasn't in to big a rush to hurry things.

Striker wrinkled her nose"oh go fall in a manhole.. "She said grumbling before crossing her arms " I'll take option.. Number one "she said in a whisper looking at bren " but I don't like it .."she said grumbling watching him she frowned lightly "..so now what are you going to do?" She asked frowning.


Milo nodded "yeah I like it..ah I see well that makes more sense .." He said chuckling watching her "hmm well come on we can't stay here all day I want to go somewhere first? " he asked smiling at her. Melinda nodded "okay sounds good.. So um..where do we gok now?" She asked watching him "would you like to come with me to shop?" She asked watching him"or we could go in the woods.. I'm not sure how well that will go though "she said trying not to laugh.

Bren chuckled and sighed looking at her. "Well, I'll put it like this. I give you my number and you call me when you get into trouble. Though before that you have to describe the person after you. I need even a little bit of information on them so I can track them down." He told her. "Information is my business." Luca frowned watching from the tree outside. He needed to wait to make his move. If he attacked to soon he could get himself killed.


Mio smiled and walked with him. "So where do you want to go?" she asked once they were outside the house where ears couldn't hear. "My brother thinks I should date you.." she admitted with a soft smile. "He says he wont let anyone stand between us." Ulric smiled at her and sighed. "How about shopping. I'm quite sure the folk in the woods would off me before I even had a chance to explain." He sighed knowing his kind wasn't to welcome around here.

Striker frowned "all I know is.. The assassins name started with an l..and the guy i saw murder someone was tallish dressed pretty well..cant remember much else"she said frowning lightly"i hit my head when i started to run"she said frowning before shrugging"not much else i can tell"she said sighing before looking at the door .


Milo chuckled"hmm he sounds like a good brother then smart to..but he seems like he can be an ass.."he said frowning "..i want to take you to a flower shop.."he said chuckling "..so..want a chococlate its bitter though"he said smiling at her. Melinda nodded lightly"oh um..your place..is there a sea there?"she asked looking at ulric curioursly before sighhing"i make my own clothes i get it from my grandpa Bane.. "she said sighing"..im pretty good at it or atleast i think so"she said smiling.

Bren gave a nod as he made mental notes and formed mental imagines of the people. "Even that much is more then enough. I have a talent for piecing things together." He told her with a sigh. "Plus I know people that can fill in the rest." He sighed pulling out his phone and messing Dolly. He knew she might be able to give him a list of local assassins. Luca frowned hearing what was being said inside. He knew he was going to have to make his move soon, even if all those people were still there. He couldn't risk the target saying any more if she remembered.


Mio gave a nod as she smiled. "Yes he is a good brother. I'm not sure how smart he is, but he is a ass. He's always getting into fights and being bratty." She laughed. "Awe, how thoughtful. No thanks on the chocolate.. not fond of bitter things." She told him with a smile as they walked. Ulric looked over at her and grinned. "Yes, but it's about a hour away from the castle." He explained to her. "That's pretty cool. It's seen as a respectable trait where I am from if you can make your own clothing." He told her feeling even more amazed by her.

Striker frowned lightly " ..so now what do I do ? "She asked frowning looking at the door " I mean..he will probably try and kill me now "she said frowning *what was his name..I've..I've heard it once.. *she thought sighing " should I go outside ?"she asked watching the door


Milo nodded and smiled "ah i see well you know hiw i am id rather have bitter things over to sweet.." He said chuckling "hmm whrn i cant study with you thats were i study..mostly people..but still " he said sighing.Melinda looked at him "well..you need to build.. A palace...near the sea or at least something so I can walk out in.. A flowly white dress with some gold on the neckline and feed you some fruit you can't tell me that wouldn't be fun for you " she said in a slight teasing voice before trying not to giggle about it "hmm I'm sorry mom says my imgation.. Can ..cause me to my trouble .. " she said smiling

Bren looked at her and let out a sigh. "You really aren't that smart.. You stay in here. My power can only cover this property and a little bit of the front street and the neighboring yards. You are safer staying here and leaving him come to us." He told her with a sigh. He sighed sensing Dolly was close and wondering if Mason was with her. Luca chuckled and shook his head. He got a feeling taking care of this girl was going to be easier then he first thought. If he could just get her away from the others.


Mio gave a nod and smiled. "You never change." She teased him as they walked. "So do you.. wanna date? I mean if my brother thinks it'll be okay then I trust him. I just didn't want to see you hurt because of me." She sighed showing how much she cared about him. Ulric laughed at her vivid imagination. "We do have a vacation house by the sea. We could live there if you like." He told her with a smile. "I like your imagination. Not many people I know are as creative as you."

Striker frowned lightly "yay ..." She said frowning "just for information I am smart.. But after get knocked out. Were you can't remember almost anything ..it does that to a person.. " she said frowning "hmm.ouch !" She squeaked holding her head *it hurts..*she thought"he's still out there isn't he ?"she asked frowning. Mason looked at dolly "remind me to smack bren..for interrupting us . " he said growling he was quite grumpy by the looks of it maybe more so tired "so what is this all about " he asked watching dolly.


Milo sighed "I won't get hurt..I'm a lot stronger then you think mio.. " he said frowning "and sides I'll just do what I do best " he said chuckling before grabbing her hand "hmm..so I have to ask you something it's something about your Dads dogs that are fenced off in the back..does he ever say what their for ?" He asked.Melinda nodded before smiling "I do my best work by the sea..so you want to meet my grandpa bane.. ?" She asked smiling at him "since you've seen my moms kimber side and haven't run for the hills yet " she said giggling.

Bren sighed looking at her. "Get over here and let me look at that." He told her pulling out the first aid kit. "Yeah he's still out there. I'm leaving him no choice but to come in here after you. I have no intentions of killing him though. I'd like to take him alive to get more information." He told her with a sigh. "Beside he's just doing his job like I am." He wasn't fond of the idea of killing someone just because they were following orders or doing what they had to to get by. Dolly giggled and sighed. "Oh, Mason." She said reaching over and taking his hand. "He has a assassin problem and needs someone that knows that world to give him a hand." She summed it up. She was tired and a little drained from the life she was growing, but she was always happy to help when she could.


Mio looked at him and sighed. "I know you are strong. Your a dragon after all, but even the strongest of people have weaknesses and I know that if they didn't come after you.. they would hurt you the only other way they could.. by hurting me." She told him as they walked. "No, but I'm sure they are hunting dogs. The wolf is Illya's though and he's grumpy but okay." She sighed wishing she could give him a better answer then that. Ulric nodded and sighed. "Depends. Is he going to beat me up?" He asked with a chuckle, though he would gladly meet all her family if it made her even more willing to stay beside him. "Sign me up. So when do you want me to meet him?"

Milo frowned"your brother wont let that happen that much i can tell.."he said frowning lightly watching her"and im thinking about were we should go for our first date..oh..can i stay for dinner tonight..yours moms food is always so good"he said frowning lightly he gave a gentle sigh watching mio. Melinda smiled "no..hes pretty much hunter hes my dads dad.."she said smiling"he married the fairy..which got him kicked out"she said before walking to his store and walking in she could hear him grumbling and complaining , Bane sighed before seeing Melinda and Ulric "..okay i see my lovely granddaughter but i dont know the guys that shes with"he said sighing before walking over and looking at Ulric before sighing lightly "who are you cause your not from around here and your not gypsy"he said confused

Bren sighed as he patched her up. "I probably do smell like my wife." He smiled at the idea that Pearl's scent was clinging to him. It comfort him in a odd way. "So do you always run?" He asked her as he offered her a pop. "I mean you must get tired of running and hiding right?" Dolly giggled at Mason and sighed. "I love you too and I'm never to tired for you." She told him as she walked into his parents house. She sighed seeing every one in the kitchen. "So who can explain what's going on?"


Mio smiled watching him. "Yeah I guess he wouldn't." She said thinking about it. "Awe, you don't need to go over board. I'll be happy if it's just at the ice cream shop." She told him with a sigh. "Sure, mom always is happy when you are over. I think she really likes you." She told him as they walked. Ulric gave a nod understanding a little. Walking into the shop he sighed seeing Bane. Hoping to make a good impression he offered his hand. "I'm Ulric and I'm a Hunter Prince from over seas." He explained not wanting to jump right into the whole 'I'm going to marry your granddaughter' thing. Sure his cocky attitude was yelling for him to just do it, but his brain was saying be smart man.

Striker frowned lightly "that's what avalanche taught me..I mean I know how to fight as a wolf but that does know good.. When an assassins after you.. And that's what I'm best at ." she said frowning before pushing the pop away she gave a quiet sigh "do you always ask so many questions?" She asked rolling her eyes..Mason sighed looking at striker he blinked wondering "its probably would be one of those two but I'm just quessing " he said watching them.


Milo sighed "yeah I know . .. What about a pretzel shop? Then the park?" He asked smiling he gave a quiet sigh watching her " your dad is kinda werid at times you know that right?"he asked watching her . Bane frowned lightly before looking at Melinda "oh this new dresses..are finished " he said smiling he gave Ulric a weary look before shaking his hand "hmm..I think that's half of the truth but I'll take it ..so a prince .. And your interested... In my granddaughter " he said sighing he heard Melinda make a slight how dare you noise. Melinda looked at Ulric before grabbing his hand "hmm you can see some of the dresses I designed " she said smiling.

Dolly gave a nod before addressing them. "So can one of you explain things?" She asked right as the assassin crashed through the window and grabbed the girl. Luca frowned as he came in through the window grabbing Striker. If anything he would at least finish his job. Catching sight of Dolly he froze. "You!" He said pointing at her. She was one of the top and most feared assassins.


Mio smiled at the idea. "I'd like that." She told him as she took his hand and smiled to herself. "I know he is. I just always thought it was because of my brother though." She giggled thinking about all the stories she had been told. Ulric looked at him and gave a slight nod. "You could say that." He wasn't going to deny anything. He grinned as Melinda pulled him away to look at dresses she had designed. Nia smiled as she jumped on Bane's back. "I heard one of our beautiful granddaughters." She said looking around for her.

Striker frowned before slamming her head into Luca "damn it let go now! " she growled before looking at dolly "I saw a murder..so someone hired moron over here..to kill me " she said trying to gt away "I bite " she growled watching everyone "could someone please help me?" She asked.


Milo looked at mio"no that's all your dad..I don't think that's any of your brother.."he said smiling "so..how do you think this is going to go..I mean..once it gets out that your seeing me some hardheads..surely..wont stay quiet..but I'd love to see them .. Get past your brother and farther I don't think the will " he said snickering. Bane chuckled 'yes it Melinda.. She brought a guy with her.. "He said sighing " I'm not sure how to take that really.. "He said frowning. Melinda smiled before showing Ulric " what do you think..I like the blue one better then the other ones..more greecian inspired..what do you think?"she asked looking at Ulric .

Luca grumbled as he put his arm around her throat. "You are a pain!" He grumbled as he tried to control her. Dolly looked at Luca and sighed. "Let the girl go or else I'll make sure you have to eat with you feet for the rest of your life. I'll cut your arms off in the cruelest manner I can think of." She told him as she reach for her knife. Luca raised a eyebrow at Dolly. "Try it. You might be well known and feared but I'd rather face you then the boss man." He told her though it wasn't really true. The Boss wasn't quite as scary as she was.


Mio sighed thinking about it. "People will complain. I don't think they will do much more then that unless they believe things are getting serious and their is a chance of us having children or getting married." She told him with a shrug. "I really don't care what they think though." Nia smiled as she warped her arms around him and rested her head on his back. "Oh good. I haven't seen her in awhile. It would be nice to see all the grandkids together though." She sighed. Ulric smiled as he looked them over. "I think they are all very creative and beautiful." He told her. 'Designed with love too."
