Pearl frowned "no I'm not I just wanted to know if a lot has changed with you " she said sighing as she put her head on the table "so dates should we set one up for tommrow " she said asked curioursly "so how do you feel about a movie in my room since you have already been at my base "she said seeming slightly hurt by that.


Mason sighed "I need my glasses..to read and she dosent ever make much sense does she?"he asked before walking in "cale "he called sighing"dont come out here hoping as a rabbit either.."he called sighing before hugging dolly "err..my glasses are in one of my pockets "he said looking for them .


Pride looked at her worriedly"what if you get serioursly ..hurt illya..what happens then youd be risking our babys life"he said looking at her worriedly"yes and i have unfinished business with a few other people but still"he said sighing he gave a quiet sigh *i wonder if Ulric found anything he liked...*he wondred sighing.,

Bren looked at her and smiled. "I'd like that. A date tomorrow. We could do a movie but if you want we could have it in my room." He offered knowing it would only be fair since he'd already been in her room. "To be honest the only thing that changed is how I view people and the world. I wasn't really missing.. any one could have found me if they looked.. not like it was really covered up well." He sighed feeling hurt that no one but his own father had even cared enough to go looking for him.


Dolly smiled at Mason and sighed. "It's some babble about a weird guy and what not. Seems like she was really worked up when she messaged me." She sighed wondering if Melinda was alright. She would go check on her later. Cale walked down and looked at Mason. "Remind me again why you are in the games... all you do is take advantage of the school system I set up." He wondered if he was so easy on the boy because of Dolly or.. if he had grown on him.. as much as he hated that idea.


Illya looked at him and sighed. "I wont get seriously hurt. I didn't last time. I'm smart enough to surrender if I know I can't go any farther. No point getting killed over a prize." She told him with a sigh. "You'd be the one that would keep going even if you had to beat them down with your own arm." She gave him a look but smiled.

Pearl looked at him "bren its not i didnt think about you..but i figuried..if you wanted to see me youd just show up which you did but we kept missing each other"she said frowning "so what movie and no dont worry about it okay id rather just stay in my room "she said looking at him "so do you want to maybe go to a garden or something?"she asked smiling .


Mason looked at her before smiling"well as long as you check on her later it should be okay right?"he asked looking at her he looked at cale"just be glad im not taking advtange of your duaghter hey i might be your faveriotre son in law someday"he said snickering lightly he gave a happy sigh looking at dolly.


Pride snickred lightly "so "he said laughing "whats wrong with that i mean serioursly "he asked smiling"i like to win but after all you are the most important thing right now "he said smiling at her he gave a quiet sigh "your the most beautiful damn sexy thing around anymore "he said looking at her he gave her a slight smirk.

Bren sigh, a part of him was really relieved she had over looked the last bight of what he had said. Sure he had missed her but it hadn't been until last week that he had been looking. Before that he really had been in a sense.. missing. "Any movie you want to see and if you are sure." He told her as he ordered food. "Sounds like fun. I haven't been to one in awhile."


Dolly gave a nod hoping that was the case. She really hoped Melinda hadn't found to much trouble on her first day. Cale looked at him with a pointed look. "You can keep dreaming buddy." He grumbled a little. "The only thing you have going for you is that Dolly likes you and you treat her nice.. plus your father.. I'd rather not get on his bad side."


Illya could feel her face turning red. "Awe.. you're just saying that." she told him with a smile. she liked it when he flirted with her. It made her feel special. "So what should we name the baby. I'm almost positive it's a girl." She sighed wondering if that would be a problem for them or not.

Pearl looked at him "i dont know anything that dont have death in it comedy maybe"she said looking at him before smiling gently she gave a quiet sigh"is iot sad ..i dont feel like eating anymore ive dropped ..like six or seven pounds.."she said frowning looking towards him "..i just eat salads anymore"she said sighing


Mason looked at dolly hugging her tightly "aww..you scare of my Dad..i would be to if i was you"he said chuckling"your right i do treat your daughter good better then other guys ..treat their women "he said frowning remembering what he had been seeing lately he let a sigh escape him , Pride looked at her "we could give her a name for paris or something like that if youd like something classy.."he said looking at her "Jade.. maybe.. Sky?"he asked smiling thinking names over.

Bren looked at her and shook his head. "No. I think with every thing going on it's normal not to eat like you used to." He told her as he looked down at the smoothie he ordered. It was the only thing he ordered. "If it makes you feel better I just drink. Smoothies. Coffee. Other things.." He didn't want to get into his actual drinking problem. "A comedy would be nice."


Cale just rolled his eyes and sighed. "Rowan, Dolly and Mason are here. Come see them before I toss the boy out the door." He called to her as he walked toward the kitchen. He was really thinking about it. Dolly sighed shaking her head as she watched her dad. "I think deep down inside he likes you." She told Mason with a smile. Illya smiled thinking about it. "How about something like Ariana Sky or Jade Gracy?" She asked offering names too. She wanted something they both liked. "I don't want it to be to classy. I want it to be beautiful and gentle." She told him hoping that's what their daughter would be like.

Pearl nodded lightly before grabbing his hand and squeezing it"is it alright...if we go back to my base and train in the basement if we dont i might end up crying"she said frowning"..why didnt you show up at my brothers funeral bren..i needed you?"she asked curioursly looking at him"i just needed you"she said sighing.


Mason looked at him before smiling he smiled seeing rowan come running and hugging them both "she always gives the best hugs"he said smiling "besides my mom but still"he said grinning at them "so..is cale so moody cause hes sick..or is it cause..hes just mean?"he asked . Pride grumbled lightly "alright fine but i like Jade Gracy slightly better.. "he said sighing"but the others one good to.."he said smiling he gave a quiet sigh "is it sad were in a hotel room and all were doing is talking?"he asked grinning

Bren took her hand and sighed. "I'm sorry.. I couldn't and I don't say that because I didn't want to be there. I.. I." He couldn't bring himself to say the hell he had gone through and that left him awake at night. "We can go train if it'll make you feel better." He told her as he reached over to play with her hair. The look in his eyes just spoke for him that something was wrong.


Dolly smiled hugging her mom back. "Hi mama. Have you heard from Melinda?" She asked wondering if Melinda had messaged her yet. "Dad is probably just moodier then normal because of not feeling well." She told him with a sigh. Illya looked at him and laughed. "Jade Gracy is a good name." She told him with a smiled. "You're the one that hasn't made a move yet." she told him with a wink and a flirting grin.

pearl sighed lightly "i wont push it any further.. and yeah id like to go train ..but im not drinking a freaking milkshake when training"she grumbled before standing up and walking out the door towards her base she gave a quiet sigh"your going to be first to be in my base..and if you ever turn on me.."she said looking at him before shaking her head like she couldnt bear that thought.


Rowan frowned"no why is she alright?"she asked worriedly"speaking of which..have you seen adak?"she asked worriedly "i havent heard. from any of my kids except you "she said looking like she was about to cry, pride sighed"sorry im just excited about the baby "he said smiling he tilted his head lightly as he ate when the food got there "..i cant wait to meet the baby "he said excitedly "i sound like a wimp"he said frowning about it he gave a worried sigh.

Bren gave a nod as he got up and followed after her. walking up behind her he warped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug. "I'd never do something like that. I love you. You're my world. My reason. The one thing that I want more then anything." He whispered in her ear as he held her close. "My grandfather's men took me for almost a month.. it was a good friend that I trusted that gave them information about my daily life. They knew every thing I did and loved." He told her with a sigh knowing that would be enough for her to piece it all together. "I'm telling you because I don't want secrets between us." He told her as he let go and took her hand.


Dolly frowned showing her mom the message. "I'm not sure.. Adak.. he left his phone again. I think he's at his base. He's normally there since he got kicked out of the school for the rest of the week." She told her with a sigh. Illya smiled at him and sighed. "I don't think you sound like a wimp. I think you sound like a good father." she told her as she ate her food. "I'm already showing a little. I've just been hiding it with clothing that is a size larger then normal." She admitted to him.

Pearl nodded she felt relieved "your going to make me cry bren"she said looking at him she gave a quiet sigh when she got back to her base when she got to the gate she entred the password before walking in she sighed looking around seeing a few of the girls there one was asleep on the couch she smiled softly walking towards the basement she sighed looking around at her training area"... i set it up..."she said sighing"...i see..of course it was your grandfarther"she said rolling her eyes "..my birthdays coming up soon"she said quietly.


Rowan frowned "o gosh.."she said sighing"can you check on her?"she asked smiling "ah i see well it wouldnt hurt him to call his mother..after all the labor i went through to get him out"she said frowning"i think hed rather have stayed in there"she said laughing. Pride nodded lightly"do we have to tell anyone else..just let her come out and not tell anyone else?"he asked sighing looking aat illya "you sure we have to tell people?"he asked smiling at her.

Bren gave a nod as he followed her to her base. "If you cry then I'll just have to wipe away your tears." He told her with a smile. Bren sighed looking around. "I'll tell you how I got in. I found a secret tunnel to your base. It comes out right across from your room." He told her with a sigh. "Yeah.. it wasn't really him. More so his men. The same guys that bullied me as a kid. My father realized I was gone and came for me. Let's just say him and that whole family had a being fight over it." He sighed before kissing her cheek. "I know. I've been working on a surprise for you."


Dolly gave a nod. "I'll check on her later on my way back to my base. It's on the way." she told her with a sigh. "I'll message you to let you know how she is." she promised knowing how worried she must be. "He probably would with how much he seems to hate the world." She laughed. "He might call people if he would stop forgetting his phone places." She giggled holding up his phone. "He can be kind of clumsy about things." Illya looked at Pride and sighed. "We have to tell your parents at least. Plus I need someone to help deliver her." She told him with a sigh. "and how are we going to raise her in the games. It'll be dangerous for her." she pointed out only wanting to protect their child.

 

[Sirensong]

Pearl nodded lightly she gave a quiet sigh "ah i see..well they were still his men he could have stopped them "she grumbled shaking her head she gave a quiet sigh as she kicked the bag for a few minutes" ...hows it supposed to be my birthday when my brothers gone ?"she asked looking at him "..ah i see well ill have to seal that up"she said frowning.


Rowan nodded"thats fine"she said smiling "yeah though i couldnt stand it... he was so grumpy all the time"she said sighing shaking her head some "he kicked all the time"she said sighing"hes worse then cale"she said laughing. pride nodded"i know.. "he said sighing"but then word will get around.."he said sulking before looking at illya"i just dont want anybody nose unnessacy in this pregancy "he said competely grumpy about something suddenly.

Bren pouted at her, "Please don't seal it. It comes out in my room back at my base. It's like a little escape for me when I feel like things are to much. I just come here and I know I'm just a little bit closer to you." He told her as he sat down and watched her. "If you want we could.. go to the forest. I like it there. It's quiet." He told her with a sigh. "My grandfather is sick. Not many people know about it outside the family. He doesn't leave his room.. so for once he is innocent." He wanted to vomit saying that, but he wasn't the sort of person to blame people for things they didn't do.


Dolly giggled hearing her mother saying that. "Oh come on mom. He does smile from time to time.. though his smile is really out of place and creepy." She admitted shivering a little. "It's like his nerves don't know how to form a proper smile." She noted to that. Illya gave a nod understanding his worry. "I'm worried it'll get back to my grandfather, but we both know he's in no shape to do any thing to us.. but his men might." She frowned just wanting things to be simple for once.

Pearl grumbled lightly "i dont like quiet.."she said truthfully she gave a quiet sigh "...id rather hear noise,,anymore"she said looking at bren "okay then i wont seal it off..."she said smiling slightly"i miss the days when we went to the zoo so much simpler back then wasnt a smuch pressure from everyone"she said breathing.


Rowan nodded lightly"i remember that.."she said sighing"he needs a girl thats what he needs..so he can smile more even if it is a creepy smile"she said laughing about it , Pride frowned"..ill put his men in the ground..if they try anything stupid..it wouldnt take much just a freaking bullet"he growled"i dont like the thought of any of them finding it out" he said sighing.

Bren gave a nod missing those days too. "Then would you like to go to the zoo?" He asked looking up at her. "I'm thinking about dropping out of school. I can't stand sitting in class any more. Feels like every one is watching me." He sighed knowing he was paranoid and he shouldn't be. Maybe he should give it another try, but he was always worried something might happen again.


Dolly giggled thinking of Adak getting a girl. "She would either have to be stupid or very brave to wanna be with him." She joked but sighed. "He got a new team member today. Her name's Katie. Maybe she'll be the girl." She sighed wondering how that was going. Not many people lasted long on Adak's team. Illya looked at him and sighed. "I know. I have faith that you'll keep our baby safe." she told him with a smile. "You are my big strong man after all." she told him as she kissed his cheek.

 

[Sirensong]

Pearl frowned lightly "oh.." She said frowning "dropping out won't change anything your just letting them win then " she said frowning "and sure why not..can't be any worse then being here right?" She asked frowning . Katie looked around at her room before getting out and going to check on Adak *he might be around..*she thought looking around for him she grew quiet as she walked around the base .


Rowan laughed "oh come on now..Dolly that's not fair to the girl you know..odd I know that name from somewhere " she said sighing trying to remember were she heard that name from. Pride nodded looking at her "hmm want to take a nap?" He asked grabbing her before pulling her down next to him "hmm I'd love to sleep next to you " he said smiling.

Bren looked at her and sighed. "I know.. but it's hard to go back after the pictures those guys posted all over school. Mason took them down and burnt them for me." He said with a sigh remembering how they had hung him from the ceiling in his grandfather's dungeon. Stripped him of his clothing, blindfolded him, and then beat him for days while taunting him. They had taken pictures of him hanging there and posted them around school. Thankfully it was hard to recognize him in the photos so only a few people did. "Yeah and it could be fun. The zoo I mean." Adak was still in his office. He was looking out the window watching as his team members came and went from the base. He had nothing better to be doing with his time.


Dolly smiled and laughed a little, but finally just sighed. "Katie is the neighbor girl mom. Remember her coming over a few times when she was little to sell cookies for school?" She asked her remembering how good those cookies had been. It was weird that that is what she remembered most about that time. Illya smiled as she rested her head on his chest and looked up into his face. "I would love too." She told him as she closed her eyes and relaxed a little.

Pearl looked at him before frowning "bren.. Not many people know they just know you dropped off the face off the mat..its not right what you've been doing to everyone " she said looking slightly hurt "but you have your own problems to... And yeah is it alright if I introduce you to someone?" She asked looking at him . Katie looked at Adak and sighed "watching them ?" She asked blinking at him curiously she gave a quiet sigh "is this what you do with your time?" She asked looking at him blinking .


Rowan luaghed slightly "oh I see I knew that name from somewhere " she said laughing "that would be odd if those two got together but their so different why would they I mean they'd have to get along first " she said laughing.

Bren looked at her and sighed. "Yes.. but it doesn't stop the people who know from starting things. That's why I quit baseball.. and going to class. When I first went back someone kept stuffing those photos in my desk and writing things on my locker. One person went far enough to kill my teams pet cat, shave it, and hang it from the tree in the front yard." He told her with a sigh. He hadn't felt right either since then. Like there was a bottled up rage in him and it was killing him holding back. "Yeah it's fine.. So.. Pearl.. can I ask you something?" He had been working hard to save up money for this. He sighed playing with the ring in his pocket. Adak looked over at her. "Yes it is. I watch them because they are curious people. So happy and unafraid." He told her as he turned around to face her. "Would you like a chance to prove yourself to the team? There is the tournament coming up. There are three prizes and the winner not only brings home a prize for their team but themselves too. One thing is you agree.. it's a o.k fighting type deal against other team members. However there is nothing stopping them except if you give up. That is the only way to make sure you are not killed. I don't expect you to kill any one either." He told her waiting for her response.


Dolly gave a nod. 'You know Adak's version of getting along. He beats you up and ask questions never." She chuckled knowing how many fights he used to get into. As a toddler her used to growl at the furniture and attack peoples legs. Most people in the family had been to afraid to hold him.

 

[Sirensong]

pearl frowned hearing that "bren I miss you at school.. !"she said looking at him"i have no one else around me except pride..and illya..."she said frowning watching him though she broke into a smile"yeah sure..what is it ?"she asked curioursly watching him steadily not sure what to think right at this moment. Katie looked at Adak before paling out slightly she looked like she was about to faint"err... sure.."she said looking at him though she looked like she was about to pee her pants she gave a quiet sigh "so are you unhappy or something?"she asked blinking looking at him "so um how would i go about this fighting..?"she asked sighing.


Rowan nodded befor laughing"i remember he about scared my mother half to death when he growled at her...remember when all of us brought him home?"she asked laughing remebering that memory "most of the family was here..and my uncle venom was here"she said laughing .

Bren looked at her and sighed. "I'll come back.. but only if you promise to smile for me like you used to when we were kids. I know it's hard.. it's hard for me too, but together I know we can both be happy again." He told her hoping she would promise. Smiling at her he got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. "Be mine, from now and always. You're the only person that makes me feel like I'm any thing. That I have value and I want to make you feel like a queen.' He told her hoping she would say yes. Adak looked at her and sighed. "You don't need to be afraid. It's a partner match up this week. So you'll be my partner." He told her in a serious manner. "Unhappy..? No more like I can't express happiness." He sighed wondering how to explain it.


Dolly gave a nod and giggled. 'He wasn't even that old and he was already a ball of spit." She smiled remembering how he snapped at people. "It was weird that he was born with little fangs." She laughed remembering that had been the only sign of him having wolf in him at all.

Pearl looked at him "i can try.."she said slightly smiling she looked at bren before looking at the ring before bending slightly and kissing him"is that a good enough answer?"she asked smiling at him she looked up towards the stairs "so..do you want to see the rest of the base?"she asked questionly. Katie looked at him before nodding"okay well that makes me feel better and oh okay i see..ive heard of people like that i think"she said looking at him she gave a quiet sigh "so should we train togther first?"she asked looking at him.


rowan giggled lightly remebering that "oh i know "she said laughing she gave a quiet sigh "i think mason is about to be asleep.."she said looking at him seeing he was laying on their couch"hmm i think hes grown on cale slightly"she said smiling"hmm remeber the day you told cale you were dating Mason ?"she said smiling.

Bren smiled as he got up and slipped the ring on her finger. "I already asked your father for his blessing. He was more then happy to give it to me and said he'll take you dress shopping when you go home next. He also said that I better give him cute grandbabies." He laughed remembering the talk he had had with her father. "Sure, I'd love to see the rest of the base." Adak stood and walked toward her. "I was think more get to know each other first. It has been brought to my attention that I don't work well with others.. I don't see how, but I've read books on this kind of thing and they say the first thing is to know your partner." He told her with a thoughtful look.


dolly gave a nod as she looked over at Mason. Walking to him she played with his hair. "I think he has too. Daddy almost lost it that day. He was so mad, but he calmed down after awhile. I guess he just didn't like the idea of me growing up." She laughed remembering that day. Her dad had spent half the day in the woods destroying things and then that night he chewed up one of the pillows.

Pearl looked at him before laughing slightly "cute grandbabies huh wont be none of that for awhile.. and dress shopping "she said frowning"yeah rather not do that"she said sighing looking at him"well come on then"she said standing up and walking upstairs and showing him the base"your not allowed in the back room my team only"she said sighing . Katie looked at him when he came near her "oh okay well then what do you want to know about me?"she asked looking at him "...what do you like to eat?"she asked him watching him for a brief moment "why do you want me to be your partner ?"she asked.


Rowan grinned at her "oh i remeber that night..he chewed up my faveriotre pillow"she growled looking at them she gave a quiet sigh "hmm should i let you two go dont forget about melinda alright i just need to make sure shes okay afterall it is her first day "she said sighing remebering what her first day was like *well it wasnt that bad but still *thought snickering.
