Grace sighed lightly"i stopped thinking little of her..when she pushed the boy off the swing when we were in grade school"she said laughing about it she tilted her head some "have you ever wondred what itd be like for you if she hadnt been born?"she asked. Vivi nodded lightly"i see momma so fantasy scares you or does nothing scare you anymore?"she asked sighing sitting down lightly "..brave huh i guess i can be brave"she said sighing lightly.


Mason looked at lane"Hot suace lots of it .. and .lettuce tomatos..sometimes i put cheese suace on it"he said looking at him he sighed seeing pearl *she witch ! she witch !*he thought before sighing and looking at lane, Pearl smiled at bren "... so tommrow right?"she asked smiling at him grabbing his hand slightly she gave a sigh looking at bren *hmm now to find my way back home *she thought.

Caliborn laughed before frowning. "Sadly I have wondered. I used to think had she not been born then maybe.. my mother would have loved me. Growing up it was always about Rowan. Mom had no time for me and I was often the forgotten child. With how much trouble my mom and sister both got into dad barely had time for me either. It was a lonely childhood and Shea's mother was one of my only friends. After she moved and then died I didn't really have any one." He explained wondering if Grace would understand that he wasn't trying to be a bad brother or selfish. He just wanted to know what it was like to have the love and attention that Rowan always had. Lena laughed and sighed. "No fantasy doesn't scare me either, but it doesn't mean I am fearless. I just have something that keeps me going even when I'm face to face with the things that scare me." She explained knowing one day Vivi would understand.


Lane smiled as he got the stuff out for Mason. "I like hot sauce too." He told him as he laid the stuff on the bar for Mason to use as he pleased. "So that's Pearl?" He said seeing Bren walking with a girl. "She looked okay." He sighed wondering about her a little. Bren gave a nod as he walked her out and smiled. "Yep. I'll be looking forward to it."

Grace looked at caliborn "i figuried you had iu dont think theres anything wrong thinking about it..besides its not like your sister could hate your for it..could she"she said snickering lightly she gave a quiet sigh before smiling at caliborn " what do you think about names for future children of ours?"she asked. Vivi stared at her slightly confused"alright if you so mom.."she said before smiling at her she gave a quiet sigh "how do you think i will grow up do you think i will grow up good?"she asked.


Mason looked at lane and sighed lightly "yes thats the evil little witch"he mumbled under his breath so bren couldnt hear he grumbled lightly"dont let her looks fool you she can be just as nasty as jags son...so i hear"he grumbled lightly.Pearl smiled at bren before kissing him on the cheek and dashing off she gave a quiet sigh *dad going to be so mad if he finds out i snuck out of my room *she thought frowning.

Caliborn gave a nod and smiled. "Yeah you are right. I doubt she would even if she could." He sighed wondering if Rowan ever thought things like that. He wouldn't blame her if she did. Thought he doubted she did. She had no reason to. "How about Leander for a boy or Honest for a girl?" He offered having always liked those names. Lena looked at Vivi and smiled. "I don't think you will, I know you will grow up to be a good and smart person." She told her as she pulled her into a hug and sighed. "I have faith in you, as does every one else. It's time you have faith in yourself."


Lane laughed and sighed. "I don't doubt that." He said watching Bren and Pearl for a moment. "Bren isn't just innocent and cute you know. He's been trained by one of the deadliest and cold blooded Hunters out there. Bren just has made his choice on where he wants to stand in life." He said knowing that there could be a time when Bren turned out to be a handful for them all. Bren blushed and waved bye to her as she ran off. He was already thinking about when he would see her next.

Grace nodded lightly and smiled"i like it"she said smiling at him "....its something different compared..to your familys"she said smiling at him she gave a sigh as she rode back to the barn to put herb up *this has been fun 8she thought. Vivi nodded lightly"alright momma ill do my best..,"she said smiling at her she gave a quiet sigh"why were you always so sad..when you were alive..were we not... enough for you?"she asked seeming confused.


Mason looked at lane"yeah so were you"he said crossing his arms he gave a huff slightly he sighed he could sense his mother coming back he looked at bren "hey Bren stop staring off into space like that..its werid"he said sighing lightly he frowned lightly though , Avalanche smiled before hugging bren and looking at mason and lane"did i miss something?"She asked smiling at them.

Lane gave a sighed and looked at Mason. "Yes but I was also trained by my mother too. Something Bren never had." He knew how much that missed bonding would affect Bren down the line. He hoped it wouldn't be to negative or that with some luck Avalanche could change that. Bren smiled at Avalanche and shook his head. "Nope." He assured her before walking in and over to Mason.


Caliborn gave a nod as he rode back after her. Shea was starting to get tired and he could tell. "They are. I like that about them." He explained as he got off the horse and pulled Shea down into his arms. This had been a fun day. Lena frowned looking at Vivi. "Oh sweetie, no. You guys were never the reason for that. You were more then enough for me. It's just I had been through so much that it was as if I just shut down at some point. My body and mind were both so worn down that I couldn't cope any more." She tried to explained hoping maybe that made some sense.

Vivi nodded lightly"okay good i was just making sure..it felt .like..it was us..that we werent good enough for you anymore...i always thought you didnt like me..."she said frowning lightly she gave a quiet sigh "i always thought..that ..you perferred your older kids over me and ivory and nova"she said sighing looking at her mother "why do i feel so confused over all of this"she asked.

LAne chuckled and sighed. "One day you might just win." He told him, encouraging a little. He smiled as he kissed Avalanche back. "Sure, I'm up for a movie." Bren made a face at them kissing but smiled. "I wanna watch a movie!" He beamed looking at her. "What movie is it? Can we have popcorn too?" He asked really excited now.


Lena sighed hugging Vivi. "No. It's not you and I love you all the same. I love you. To me you are all my precious little ones. I gave so much to have each and every one of you. I gave my dragon form and power to protect you all and bring you and Ivory into the world. I gave as much as I could. Every ounce of whom I was and am to give you all, but more so you younger ones the best chance you could have. Saber, Sage, and Ebony. They have things you younger kids don't yet. A sense of whom they are or want to be. So I had to give something more for you guys." She told her as she held her close. "One day you'll understand. It's a little like a protective love or barrier. When you need it most it'll be there. Like a light in the dark." She smiled at her as she let go.

Mason looked at lane and sighed lightly "so you dont have anything wrong with me calling you...um.."he grumbled lightly"yeah no the words not coming out from my throat..."he sighed feeling his mom somewhat hit him slightly in the back he sighed "you hit like a girl"he grumbled at her, Avalanche looked at lane and mason "..oh you mean..you cant get the word...dad out from your throat"she asked looking at mason Avalanche smiled at them"its a comedy..and a cartoon"she said smiling at all of them"hey bren want to help me make some popcorn balls and ice cream sundaes ?"she asked smiling at him.

Lane chuckled and sighed. "I have no problem with it at all." He assured Mason with a soft smile. "You don't have to call me that those. Only if you want to." He knew it would take some time for Mason to really adjust and feel comfortable with him. Bren smiled at Avalanche as he gave a nod. "Yes please. Can there be hot fudge too?" He asked with his little fangs sticking out again.


Lena smiled at Vivi. "Of course I'll be there. I'll always be close sweetie. I'll visit as much as I can, but you can always come find me too. I always have time for my babies." She assured her. "Well there are baby dragons because I've been hatching dragon eggs. You can help me next time I find one if you want to." She explained with a sigh.

Mason sighed watching his mom and bren he nodded lightly "okay and i know you dont have to but your here..hes not"he said looking at lane somewhat awkwardly he gave a quiet sigh looking at lane"..my mom...making popcorn balls and sundaes...with a cartoon movie i wonder what special occasion it is"he said sighing lightly, Avalanche smiled at bren"it wouldnt be sundaes without it would it?"she asked smiling at bren "..so you..like hot fudge?"she asked smiling at him she gave a quiet sigh.

Lane understood what Mason was saying. "I know. And I'll always be here for you." He told before looking over at Avalanche and bren. "I'm not sure, but it sounds like fun to me." He grinned wondering if she needed his help or if he should just let her bond with Bren. Bren smiled as he got the fudge out. "Yep. My nanny back at grandpa's used to get me hot fudge sundaes when my grandfather would go off on trips. It was the only time she could sneak stuff to me and Illya." He explained as he helped her.


Lena gave a nod. "Alright. You should go. There are only so many chances you get at doing somethings. When you are a adult you'll look back and either be glad you to chances or regret not taking some chances. Rather have done it and not like it then never try and not know." She told her daughter as she sat down and looked out over the lake.

Mason nodded lightly he gave a quiet sigh "im not sure if i ever want to go back to slate now..."he said frowning lightly"all he did was yell ..half the time.. and when he didnt he was so called training me...and when he did that was when grandfather..would come around...hed get his ass beat if grandpa saw he was yelling at me"he said laughing about it. Avalanche smiled about that"well that was nice of your nanny"she said smiling happily"what do you want to drink ?"she asked getiting the pop out she gave a sigh"did your farther tell you why we are packing?"she asked.

Lane could understand that. "Then don't. You don't have to if you don't want to." He told him. He honestly didn't want to see Mason go back there. "And if you still want to train I could teach you a few things. Though I don't approve of hunting. The knowledge can still be useful." He sighed knowing about the games. Bren gave a nod and sighed, "Yeah it was. It's sad grandpa had her killed though.' He frowned remembering when his grandfather had found out she was bringing him that stuff. "Yes dad and I want orange juice please."


Lena smiled as she stood up. "Yes I can. Where would you like to go looking first? I think a purple and blue dress would suit you." She smiled as she looked at Vivi. "I heard her dress was beautiful." Mr. Ghost sighed as he paced around his party hall. He was throwing another gathering and had invited a bunch of the local Hunters. He was hoping that Jag would bring Illyas as well. And Blake would bring his elusive daughter, pearl, that he'd heard of.

Mason grumbled lightly "no to the training..i dont want to train..i have no use to train why would i need it..."he said sighing lightly looking at lane he tilted his head lightly "you...will look after us right?"he asked looking at him he gave a quiet sigh, Avalanche forwneD"im sorry to hear that"she said frowning lightly before smiling "alright orange juice it is..."she said smiling pouring some of it she sighed looking down at bren"hey bren..no matter what you do when you get older i will always love you..okay"she said smiling gently at him.


Vivi nodded smiling at her mother "yeah hers is blue with black lace at the top and on the bottom to line it"she said sighing "and shes got a small hat for it... but i dont know what to wear"she said sighing.


Pearl frowned walking along side her farther she gave a quiet sigh she did wonder if jag and them would show up at all *knowing jag hes making..some lame excuse..hopefully hell show i need to have someone to talk to mainly Illya ..or pride..someone *she thought frowning *or i could ditch this party..and go back to bren house. Jag frowned as he walked in he looked down at illya and sighed"you go getting scared of your grandfarther..you come to me okay"he said looking at her happily "alright..dont feel bad..if ya need me..youd probably be rescuing me..from a life..talking about kills"he grumbled lightly.

Lane gave a nod and sighed. "Okay, no training it is then. And there are always the games. Not that you'll be in them for sure, but you never know." He pointed out as he cleaned up the counter. "Yeah. I'm going to look out for you all." He smiled knowing he was going to keep them all safe to the best of his ability. Bren smiled as he grabbed the juice and drank it. "Alright. Would you still love me.. even if I did bad thing or hurt people?" He asked not thinking he ever would but it never hurt to know. "what if I married a Hunter and chose her family ways? Or I join the circus as a clown?" He smiled at her. "Or I could become a hippy too." Lena gave a nod trying to imagine Ivory in a dress like that. "I bet it suits her beautifully." She sighed. "So what do you like in a dress?"


Blake sighed looking down at Pearl. He wasn't happy about bringing her to this party. To many other Hunter's would see her and it would start the parade of suitors that he would gladly deny. However he knew Ghost had his eye on Pearl and that worried him more then anything. Illya gave a nod and smiled up at him as she took his hand. "Alright. Will you dance with me there? Mason looked at lane and frowned"..you like pointing out all the possibilites dont you?....i want to learn to read eventually i think in the future i might want to be lawyer...its something most people wont..except from me"he said . Pearl asked me if I'd help her in the future.. I told her I'm not killing no gypsies, but I would help her." He told Avalanche in a cute kind of manner. Lena smiled at a idea she had. "How about I make you your dress? That way it fits just right and it's one of a kind?" She offered knowing she could do it. "we can go buy the material right now."


Blake sighed looking down at Pearl. "You really believe that I don't know these things? I know when you leave the house and I'm not blind either. My power Pearl is, like a barrier. I can sense what comes and goes and chose it as well." He told her to let her. "I never said anything before because I wasn't sure if I was doing the right things as a father and I didn't know how much freedom I should let you guys have." He explained with a sigh. She was the only mother figure he had and the more time he was with her the more like a mom she become for him. Lena was more then thrilled at the moment. "Of course I'll teach you! Let's go to town. We have so much to buy." She couldn't wait to get started. she had been looking for ways to bond more with each of her kids. Maybe this could be Vivi and her thing.


Blake looked at Pearl and sighed. "To see your friend. That's all I really know about it. I'm always watching you Pearl. I'm here if you need me or just want to snuggle on the couch and watch a movie. Same for your brother. But you kids don't come to me any more. I was starting to think you didn't need me any more." "I like purples, blues, and greens. But I think you would look good in a dark purple with blue and light purple too." she told Vivi as they walked toward the fabric store.


Ghost looked at Jag and huffed. "She may seem better, but I just got a call from her doctor. Her heart is growing weaker. He said she'll be lucky to make it to 10 at this rate. He wanted me to sign for her to get a operation that will improve her condition by at least 70%. However that is no longer within my power." He told Jag with sigh. Blake looked at Pearl and sighed. "I would rather have you dance on my desk and demand my attention then do paper work all day." He told her with a shake of his head. "Yes, but I'd like to meet him sometime too." He told her as he glanced toward Jag. "Should we help Jag out or no?" He asked Pearl with a grin.
