Shea giggled handing them the coco. "Can we go for a ride now?" she asked hugging Grace and not wanting to let go. She loved Grace and secretly hoped her daddy would marry her soon. Lena sighed and hugged Vivi. "I'll do better then just try. I'll make it happen." She assured her as she smiled at her. "I'm your mom. It's my job to make sure you have all the tools and knowledge you need to succeed."


Lane smiled at him and sighed. "No problem. Some one has to. And don't worry. I wont tell her." He said as he made some sandwiches and got some pop out. "So what else didn't you learn? I've got time. I can teach you just about anything." He just wanted to bond with Mason in some way. Bren already knew most of the things a father should teach his son.

Grace nodded lightly"yes we can would you like to?"she asked hugging shea she gave a quiet sigh and shook her head slightly she looked at the two horses and frowned slightly she shook her head before sighing happily, Vivi nodded"alright momma.. you can help me..but dont freak out when my power does what it does..it makes your worst fear in the illusion"she said frowning lightly.


Mason looked at lane and shrugged"i dont know really..."he said looking at lane "what am i supposed to learn?"he asked sighing lightly he looked at lane he gave a slight frown though before sighing lightly "is there anything in paticular i should learn?"he asked looking at lane he gave a quiet sigh "the only thing i remember my dad teaching me..was how to raise my temper"he said half hearted jokingly.

Shea giggled as she looked up into Grace's eyes. "Yes please!" She beamed getting excited again. In her excitement she turned into a wolf and ran around. Caliborn frowned watching Shea. "Shea, no. Calm yourself and turn back. You might startle the horses." He warned her hoping she would listen to him. He just didn't want her to get hurt. Lena sighed looking at Vivi. "Don't worry. I've already lived my worst fear. That's why I'm going to help you, because your illusions can't get to me." She explained hoping Vivi would understand.


Lane smiled at Mason and sighed. "Reading, writing, colors, shapes, animals, riding a bike, swimming, playing ball, how to swing on a swing. Stuff like that. The fun stuff and the stupid stuff. Little things." He explained wondering how much of that Mason already knew. He figured the boy knew his colors, shapes, and animals.

Grace smiled at caliborn"dont worry...theyve been down this road once or twice"she said reffering to wolves she gave a quiet sigh before smiling and grabbing shea "here come here a second okay?"she asked smiling at her she gave a happy sigh watching her. Vivi nodded"well if your sure momma"she said smiling at her she shook her head before smiling at her"im glad they wont be able to get to you"she said smiling at her.


Mason stared at him " err... ive learned shapes... colors...some animals..not a bike..havent learned how to ride a bike... swings arent my style..."he said huffing lightly he looked at lane"my dad said there wasnt really any need for a bike"he said sighing lightly looking at lane somewhat embrassed.

Shea giggled as she ran in wolf form to Grace and jumped into her waiting arms. "Yes?" She barked as she pressed her wet nose against Grace's cheek. Her tail wagging happily the whole time. Lena smiled at her daughter before sitting down on her bed. "I am sure sweetie. If I can help you then it'll make me happy." she smiled wondering where to start.


Lane sighed but smiled. "don't worry. My father was the same way. Until my mother threw a fit about it. She was the only person that could make that man behave." He sighed shaking his head a little. "I got a bike out in the shed. I could teach you if you want to learn." He offered knowing every child should learn how to ride a bike at some time in their life.

Grace smiled before going to go get a lead rope"until its time for the hayride..grace"she said carrying her around"you can ride on chives.. back ok"she said putting her on the horses back and clipping the rope she sighed as she lead them out. Vivi smiled at her mom "Haha okay it will make me happy if i can get my power under control"she said smiling at her happily "were doi we start ?"she asked


Mason nodded some and chuckled he gave a quiet sigh"ah i dont know..theres not really any use for riding a bike"he said sighing lightly he had sensed pearl had somehow managed to get upstairs "on second thought...lets go do that now"he said looking at lane he gave a quiet sigh before shaking his head,. Pearl sighed walking around looking for bren in the house"bren ?"she caleld quietly *i snuck out so dang it he better be here *she thought

Shea giggled as she sat on chive's back and looked around. She was really enjoying this. "Can we do this every day?' She asked Grace as they walked. She could see her daddy was smiling. It had been awhile since he had smiled like that. Maybe he was having fun too. Lena thought for a moment before grinning. "How about we just leave it take it's course for now. That way I can see it in action before I make any plans. I want to know what I am dealing with power wise." She said as she smiled.


Lane gave a nod and stood walking toward the small back yard. "It's not the best bike, but it's better then nothing." He explained pulling it out. It was just the right size for Mason. "Just climb on it and sit straight. Then pedal." He explained holding the bike up right. Bren yawned as he crawled out from under the bed. He had gotten into the weird habit of sleeping in tight places. He felt more comfortable when he was in snug place. His one fang was poking out over his bottom lip as he rubbed at his eyes. He blinked hearing Pearl. "Hello?"

Grace sighed and looked at shea"maybe ..im sure my dad would love to see you everyday"she said smiling at shea she tilted her head"shea..you know i think of you as my duaghter right?"she asked smiling at her, grace farther looked at caliborn"one thing i can say..about you...is your duaghter thinks the world of you "he said looking at caliborn watching grace and shea . Vivi nodded"i can show you my power..just not in the house"she said sighing lightly looking at her mother she tilted her head some waiting for her mothers reaction "...its almost choaked me several times..."she said sighing lightly looking at her.


Mason nodded lightly looking at lane"yeah..it is..though i like dirt bikes more... "he said sighing lightly"did you know mom knows how to shoot a gun..slate still has her gun..in his safe...either that..or he melted it down...he probably melted it down..he probably disowned me"he said frowning thinking about that. Pearl smiled at him "you look so cute with your fang like that"she said smiling at him "oh hey..i came to see you"she said smiling at him

Shea giggled and as she looked over at Grace. "I wanna do this every day. I wanna see daddy on a horse." she said as she bounced a little forgetting she was on the horse. "I know. You are like the only mommy figure I have. I don't really remember my mom." She said with a sigh trying to remember something about her mother. The more time went by the more she forgot about what her real mom was like. Caliborn gave a nod and smiled. "I know she does. I think the world of her to.. because she is my world." He couldn't believe at one point he hadn't wanted her. Lena gave a nod and sighed. "Then we can go some where else. There are lots of open yet private places out there." She told Vivi as she stood and looked toward the door. "We could fly there?" She smiled.


Lane gave a nod and smiled. "I like dirt bikes better to. I had one once but it got destroyed in the fire here." He explained as he let go of the bike just enough to see if Mason had this or not. He would grab hold again if he needed to. "I'm not surprised she can. She's a strong person." He said thinking about it. Bren grinned as he watched her. "did you sneak in just to see me?" He asked glad she was here right now.

Grace smiled "we will get him on one soon 0kay"she said smiling at shea"..guess what..this horse will let two people be on its back"she said smiling at her she gave a happy sigh *im so happy i feel like.. jumping up and down *she thought sighing shaking her head some she gave a werid look around. He looked at caliborn and nodded"....hmm ..you are going to leave her..here..right ..i mean in the future?"he asked looking at shea "...she almost spilled your guy coco becuase of her excitement"he said chuckling looking at caliborn "you going to make anymore..it better be after you marry my duaghter.. though"he said sighing lightly.


Mason frowned feeling the bike starting to fall over"crap..."he mumured lightly before standing up so only the bike fell he gave a quiet sigh looking at lane he gave a quiet sigh he looked at lane"i sugguest..you go buy dirt bikes... "he grumbled lightly looking at lane "there probably easier then this thing"he mumbled he looked at lane and sighed lightly "GAH ! "He growled before kicking the ground out of frustration. Pearl nodded lightly"i did !"she said smiling at him "mason ..sensed me hes distracting your dad..for now"she said smiling at bren she gave a sigh"if i know my family someone will be showing up soon though"she said frowning before smiling again "bren..can.. we...do something fun tommrow? like get frozen yogurt?"she asked smiling at him.

Shea giggled wanting to see her dad riding a horse. "Are you going to ride with me or is daddy?" She asked smiling and wagging her tail. Her ears were half flopped over themselves. Caliborn smiled and laughed. "She does get really excited at times. Of course I will, but you mind have to fight my mom for her though." He joked knowing how his mom was. "Only if Grace wants kids in the future. Right now I don't think she does though, and that's okay with me." He explained. He was okay either way. If they had more or not.


Lane grabbed hold of the bike and sighed. "Maybe, but right now I don't have the money to do that. Next week I might though." He explained wondering if Mason would give it one more try. "You want to give it another try or go see what Bren is up too?" He asked. Bren smiled and hugged her. "Sure. I like frozen yogurt." He couldn't wait for tomorrow now.

Grace smiled at shea"how about your daddy?"she asked smiling at her before walking back to the barn with chive "caliborn..i think you should get on with your duaghter she wants you to ride horseback... "she said smiling sweetly at him. He looked at caliborn"what are you going to do now? it is your duaghter request..."he said quietly smiling at him . Vivi smiled at her mother"id like to fly there very much"she said before walking out the door and taking off in the air"follow me"she said calling for her mother she gave a quiet sigh before shaking her head.


Mason looked at lane"NO ! we can give it a try....again..no reason to see what brens up to you"he said looking at lane *that sounded suspicious...*he thought before sighing lightly "err....right no use bothering bren espically if hes resting"he said sighing lightly,Pearl nodded and smiled"hmm i like it when you hug me bren..."she said smiling "i always feel warmth when you hug me..unlike alot of other people..."she said smiling at him.

Shea giggled seeing her father. "Come on daddy. It's a lot of fun." She told him almost begging him to join her. Caliborn sighed not sure. He didn't want to admit that he wasn't really fond of riding horse. He used to do it as a child. He had been in a horse club at school, but after his horse died he stopped going. "Okay.. okay." He said walking over and climbing on with her. He could almost feel her excitement. He would do any thing to make her happy. Lena smiled as she followed her daughter out and took to the skies after her. "Where are we headed?" She asked coming to a nice glide next to Vivi.


Lane blinked wondering if Mason was hiding something, but in the end just chose to shrug it off. "Okay then. I see your point." He said as he held the bike up for him. He hope Mason would get some where this time around. He wanted to see him succeed. Bren smiled and blushed a little. "I'm glad. Your smile makes me feel warm." He told her shyly hoping she wouldn't get mad.

Grace smiled before looking at caliborn and smiling"think you can take the reigns so i can go get herb out ?"she asked smiling at him she gave a quiet sigh before tilting her head some happily *please...*she thought happily. Vivi lookeed at her mother and smiled"just follow okay"she said smiling before landing at the waterfall she gave a quiet sigh before landing "you ready...?"she asked"im going to have to.. put.. alot of wavelengths of my power out..so if i pass out i should be okay"she said sighing lightly.


Mason sighed lightly before getting back on and starting to pedal the bike *i have sucky balance..but maybe..i can get this..*he thought frowning feeling the bike shaking again he gave a quiet sigh before finally gettin ahold of it"err...there.."he said sighing lightly"your not going to check on bren now right?"he asked sighing lightly, Pearl looked at bren"...proisme me..even when your older..youll still have feelings for me..i might just..bawl my eyes out if you dont..."she said frowning lightly looking at bren she gave a quiet sigh looking at him.

Caliborn gave a nod as he took the reigns. "I got this." He assured her as he rode around the yard. He was glad Shea was having fun. He could help but smile himself. He had missed riding.Lena gave a nod as she turned into herself upon landing. Walking to help with her landing she sighed and smiled, 'kay. I'm here to caught you if you do pass out." She told her.


Lane smiled watching Mason get the hang of it. "Why are you so concerned about me checking on Bren?" He asked a little worried. He wasn't going to push to hard for information. He just didn't want Bren getting in trouble. "I guess I don't have to check on him if he's not getting into trouble or any thing." Bren smiled at her and sighed. "Of course I will still have feeling for you. You are to amazing for me not too." He explained as he hugged her again.

Grace smiled slightly as she got herb and sighed chasing after them slightly"...hmm shea you havign a good time....?"she asked smiling at her"whos your faveriotre ?"she asked smiling happily at her she gave a happy sigh watching everything, Vivi nodded she felt her head starting to hurt as her power started leaking out on it owns some of the waves of her power were more intense in illusions then other she looked at her mom as something started to form around them"..its starting"she said frowning lightly looking at her mother"scary thing is it can acutely harm you"she said.


Mason looked at lane and sighed"Pearl may very bwell be upstairs with bren.."he said looking at lane he gave a sigh"..and Bren really likes that little she witch..."he mumbled lightly"so ...i cant have you going up there... and disturbing them talking"he said sighing lightly, Pearl smiled at bren "hmm good.."she said smiling at him before slightly leaning against him "ill hold you to it bren"she said smiling at him she gave a happy sigh looking at bren.

Caliborn smiled seeing Grace coming back out. He was actually enjoying himself. shea giggled as she leaned back into her father. "I don't know. " She answered Grace with a big smile. Lena frowned at first but then got herself back on track. "It's fine Viviv, just focus on your power and nothing else. Take a deep breath, okay?" she told her hoping to get Vivi calm at least.


Lane sighed looking back toward the bar and apartment above. "Okay. I'm not going to go bother them. Though you could have just told me." He sighed walked back inside. "Come on, let's get something cold to drink." He called to Mason. It was really hot out. He got the idea Mason wasn't fond of Pearl. Bren gave a nod grinning like a fool. "Okay." He could feel his heart racing as he watched her. she was truly amazing.

Grace nodded lightly looking at her "you both look like... your having fun are you?"she asked laughing "..so.. what do you guys want to do later?"she asked smiling at them she tilted her head lightly she gave a happy sigh. Vivi nodded lightly at her mother she frowned hearing laughter she shivered ever so lightly"wh...at is that?"she asked quietly looking at her mother"why is this happening?"she asked shaking somewhat now.


Mason looked at lane"..i could have but that would..,.have been to easy wouldnt it..."he said sighing lightly before walking inside"i like cherry soda... espically the cherry cream soda.."he said grinning rather happily he gave a quiet sigh though. Pearl looked at bren"your grinning like a fool bren.."she said smiling at him"can we....walk around town tommrow?"she asked smiling at him.

Shea giggled and gave a nod. "I am having fun!" Caliborn couldn't help but laugh a little. "I am having fun Grace." He told her with a sigh. "We could have dinner and watch a movie if you want too." He offered just wanting to relax a little after this. He had just spent a week in the hospital with Shea and got little sleep. Lena sighed hearing the laughter. "Just calm down, okay. Breath in and out and block out the noise. Don't worry about anything else." she told her trying to help as much as she could.


Lane chuckled and shook his head a little. "Okay then." He said as he walked over to the cooler and grabbed a cherry soda for Mason. Lucky it was just the kind he liked to. "There you go." He said placing it in front of the boy. Bren laughed and rubbed his head a little. "I can't help it." He chuckled knowing he became a fool when she was around. "sure I'd like that."

Grace nodded"id like that"she said smiling at them "the dinosuar movie with butter popcorn caramel balls?""she asked smiling at them she gave a happy sigh looking at shea *goodness...family ..life is going to be fun *she thought. Vivi nodded doing as she said she gave a sigh seeing that they were standing right in the middle of the illusion she had created she frowned lightly"am i doing okay momma?"she asked clenching her fist tightly making sure she didn pass out now she gave a sigh hearing ivorys voice in it *i remember..that ..*she thought.


Mason looked at lane and glanced at the soda "why is it there?"he asked sighing looking at lane "i mean. not that i dont want it.."he said before grabbing it and drinking it he gave a sigh watching everything "when are you and mom getting married?"he asked sighing. Pearl smiled at him " good...id like that to... hmm .. you dont think your dads mad that im here do you?"she asked worriedly looking at him.

Caliborn grinned and smiled. "Sounds good to me." He told her liking the idea of a dinosaur movie and popcorn balls. He could tell Shea excited for it too. Family life would be fun. He was already looking forward to it. Only problem right now was the games. Maybe he would talk to Cale.. get out of it and settle down. Yeah that sounded good. Lena reached over and took Vivi's hand as a way to encourage her and calm her. "You are and I'm right here with you all the way."


Lane sighed as he pulled out a can for himself. "I'm not sure yet. I think I'll let her set the date." He smiled knowing she was probably already planning it all. "Are you upset about us getting married?" He wanted to know the truth. Bren sighed thinking about it for a moment. "I don't think he is. He's to calm for that kind of thing."

Grace smiled at caliborn she tilted her head lightly"your thinking rather hard over there..."she said smiling at him she gave a quiet sigh *i want another horse of my own.. probably Belgian ..like these..*she thought sighing lightly *im sure shea would like on*she thought sighing happily. Vivi sighed seeing it leap out at them she could see the blackness behind wrapping and twisting she sighed quietly before tyring to sezie control over the illusions she smiled lightly at her mother "i think im going to be okay..."she said sighing lightly *i can hear everyones screaming voices..*she thought*thats what scares me the most,, *she thought


Mason looked at him and huffed lightly he looked at lane and sighed " upset... not the right word... i think..more so cautious about you is the right word... Ive seen my mother on a few occasions..when i was with slate.. and she never smiles like she does now..i dont want to see that smile on my mothers dissaper..i wouldnt stand in the way of that.."he said frowning lightly. Pearl smiled at bren and tilted her head some "good..so..what else do you want to do tommrow? look in the candy shops and toy shops?"she asked smiling at him "or just wait until then?"she asked.

Caliborn smiled at her and sighed. "I was just thinking maybe it's time I settle down a little. Get out of the games and get a good job. Play more with Shea and go on more dates with you." He explained wondering what she would think about that. He wanted to make them a family. Lena smiled hearing that. "I know you will be. Just have faith and courage love." She encouraged her. "None of what you are hearing is real. Focus on what is real."


Lane sighed understanding how Mason felt. "I see. Well I'm not going to hurt her. My goal is to make sure she keeps smiling like that, because I like that smile of hers." He told Mason as he made them lunch. Bren smiled at her and sighed. "How about I'll surprise you with something tomorrow?" He had just the thing in mind too.

Grace smiled at him"i like that thought"she said smiling at him she gave a quiet sigh"though that means catior gets to be captain..and that thought scares me...though the fact that rowan captain..of the dogs..and shes pregnant..and yet she still able to fight makes me wonder..."she said sighing lightly. Vivi nodded lightly"but the scary part is it can become real..my illusions arent just based on fantasy the scariest ones are based upon your reality"she said looking up at her mother before she was finally able to sezie it she sighed as it went in her hand "it soaks back into my body"she said sighing lightly.


Mason looked at lane and sighed lightly"alright then..."he said looking at him"as long as you dont hurt my mother.. "he said sighing lightly looking at lane " ....you can make lunch?!"he asked ;looking at lane"what did you make ?"he asked. Pearl nodded"..i better get going..want to walk downstairs with me?"she asked as she walked towards the door"id like you to walk me out if thats okay with you"she said smiling gently.

Caliborn laughed and sighed. "It is a scary thought, but I have faith in Catior. She's a good friend of mine." He told Grace as he looked over at her. "Rowan is filled with surprises. The moment you think little of her she does something you would have never excepted of her." He chuckled having been there more then once with his sister. Lena gave a nod understanding. "I know, but if it's based on my reality then it can't scare me Vivi. Because my reality will always be changing and filled with ups and downs. You have to be brave and face the scary things in life." She told her as she hugged her.


Lane gave a nod as he handed over the food. "I promise I wont and I made tacos. I hope you like tacos." He told Mason as he went to get some sauce for them. "What do you like on your taco?" He could hear Bren coming down stairs. Bren gave a nod and took her hand as he walked her down stairs. He would walk her out to. Anything to get a few more moments with her.
