Short Background:

Rey learned of his powers while he was still very young, there was never much drive found in him though to work on improving them. Most of his childhood was spent alone reading in the company of his favorite pet. A snake named Stripes. However, due to an apparently violent disagreement between him and his guardian, the demise of this childhood friend ended shorter than expected. This event eventually caused a rift between Rey and his care takers. Ready to leave his dull home life he came to the Academy.

Personality:

Rey is generally quiet reserved. Be warned though, if you happen to poke him with a subject he feels strongly about, you may not get the kid to shut up.

Hating fighting, he much rather run away from a battle. Because of this particular trait Rey never learned how to become a good fighter. This renders him to be weaker than the average student. His defense tends to be on the higher side, in both conjuration power, and social barriers.

Kazuichi was ok with all the attention and gifts hegot from his village for being a prodigy but being the best meant people expected him to live up to their expectations. So Kazuichi had to train day in and day out it was tiring for him he also couldn't handle all the fake smiles and people talking about him behind his back jealous of his power and fame. So he ran away and got lost in a forest while lost he ran into a girl sitting against a tree when he approached her for directions she attacked him. He got her to calm down and she told him her story after words he heldhis hand out telling her he understood and asked her to be his partner. She agreed and he gave her, her new name Yukari.

Short Background:The opposite of Kazuichi from birth Yukari was told how she would never achieve anything. She was the runt of her werewolf tribe she wasn't able to trasform into a wolf on full moons even her own parents looked down on her. She trained in order to get stronger and when she began showing other kids up even with being a runt they began making fun of her pushing her around and attacking her. It got so bad Yukari decided to just run away she ended up getting lost in a forest when a strange boy approached her he smelt strange so she assumed he was here to attack her. So she decided to get the jump on him but when he refused to fight she gave him a chance and told him everything she was shocked when he asked her to be his partner her a runt for a guy that was obviously a prodigy she was so happy she immediately agreed and has sworn to follow her new master to the end of the earth or her name wasn't Yukari.

Around the age of twelve a local cult of witches took interest in her, however, and eventually the castle was overrun and she was put in a stasis state so they could conduct experiments on her. Six years ago she awoke from the near 6 century slumber... Underground. Needless to say, there were a few unladylike words muffled by the earth before she dug herself out. From there she educated herself, not so voluntarily, at the Academy.

Llaryssa is a bubbly gal. She likes to run outside and look for some exciting adventure that's waiting to happen if it's sunny day. If she's feeling under the weather, a good book is always her companion. She has many friends because of her confidence, compassion and honesty.


One day, she and her friends are playing ball outside her backyard when one of the bullies in their street came in and grab their ball just to toss it upward through the trees. As it got stuck, the bully Elizabeth laugh and laugh at them. Sensing that the bully was daring them to go up and get the ball, Marian, her friend, gathered up her courage and started climbing. It was tall for a 6 years old but Marian manages to grab the ball. As she went down, she lost her footing and fell. Her right hand was broken because out of panic, she used it to support her fall. Llaryssa was panicking too, her other friends went out to get help. She was there, coaxing her friend telling her that it was okay when suddenly, Marian stopped crying. Her hand was okay and not misshapen. There was blood, yes but the bone that was sticking out was back in. Shocked, awed and frightened, the bully starts of accusing her of some kind of a freak. Llaryssa got so fed up of her, she ran and grabbed Elizabeth by the arm. The other girl shriek in pain, Llaryssa didn't exactly knew what was happening but she didn't stopped. She liked the sound of Elizabeth screaming. Llaryssa's mind went blank. She only stopped when Marian grabbed her and tugged her away from snivelling Elizabeth.


Llaryssa's parents came running the next second, she was sent home when they assisted Elizabeth back to her own house. Llaryssa was freaked out so as her other friends, especially Marian but they didn't has a chance to talked because they too, were sent home. That night, Llaryssa told them what happened. but her parents weren't shocked, it's like they knew she had it in her. After the incident rumors went around, they told her that she was a devil spawn. She stopped going outside, her friends stopped visiting her. well, except for Marian. they stayed friends.


The next day, one of her parents friend came by. after the visitor talked to her parents, he came to her and talked to her next. He told her his name was Tate, and he too was special just like her. Llaryssa saw the man brought out a lighter and she saw how Tate took the flame away from it. He played it on his hands as if it wasn't so hot. Tate explained that there was a special place for her. A school that will help her wield her powers. Llaryssa believed him. She was glad that atleast she's not alone.


just to be safe, she was homeschooled all her life until she was old enough to go to the Academy.

She's compassionate, confident, loyal and honest though Llaryssa is a bit capricious and moody.

You're character would have not been accepted into the school if they are in an excess of 600 years old. ((You'll have to be typical high school age, to avoid unnecessary OP powers)) The protection from mind control, vampire speed, strength, and so on are all okay. The one thing that might make trouble is the ability to control and enlist a being into your army, that in itself is god modding and controls the other players character which isn't allowed in the role play. As for the souls that you listed above I do not have a problem with allowing one of their powers to be in your command.

@Mediocritys Muse Her real age is still 18, I only included the 600 to give people an idea of how long she was in stasis, as said in the backstory. The blood steal was limited by her personality, and I took care to make sure it wouldn't be too overpowered by the way it functions. I only included it for a reason as to why she can take souls as well as for a possible character arc if she develops in such a way. Also, like I said it majorly weakens if the consumed did not give consent, making it not worth a waste of life, which is one of the personality inhibitions I was talking about. As far as I'm concerned overpowered characters aren't much fun, so I take care not to make any. If you want I can PM you/edit the post to fully encompass the power, since I realized that I forgot to do so in my sleepy state. -.-

This spell is used to wash poisons and viruses from a targets body. While it does remove the source of the damage, this spell does not heal or reverse the effects caused already by the poison.

Short Background: Haruki discovered his powers in the seventh grade. Unfortunately, he could not control his powers at the time. He had already been bullied because of how short he was, but it got worse when the students found out about his powers through an incident he prefers not to talk about, and will get nervous if it is brought up in a conversation. His father also shunned him when he found out, and started to abuse him. Since then, Haruki has gained more control over his powers, but his mother decided to send him to this school so he could learn more about them. Haruki has become very shy due to his past, and he will only bond with people he really feels like he can trust. His voice is very quiet because of his shyness. Once he decides he can really trust you, he will open up and become one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Short Background: Lish had always been a bit of an odd ball, having to be home schooled for much of their life. The simple fact being very obvious, meaning that they could easily just change in the middle of class and then bam...things would get a bit odd if that kind of thing was witnessed in a human school. This is the first time that they are going to an actual school, which was only possible because the headmistress had allowed it. She allowed there to be a room in each dormitory depending on which side decided to take control, that being a very special exception on the schools part.


Personality: There are two distinct personalities in Lish-Vio & Via-and they both are very different. Because he/she is a Changeling he/she was born both male and female with two distinct individuals housed in one body. Vio is the mouse of the two, preferring to keep to himself and not draw attention. Via is the outspoken one of the group, preferring to call people out on their idiocy.

Species: Unknown. Proclaims himself to be a "Regular old man and then some."


Powers: Intent Manifestation - Hinshi manifests any type of weapon that he is proficient with out of his 'intent/willpower'. The stronger his feelings, the better the possibility of summoning an 'enchanted' weapon that he can use as a medium for low and medium rank spells of the corresponding element. There are three weapons he can summon currently, and he is a top ranking master with each weapon.


Link sword: made possible by a special blacksmith, the chain sword was the first weapon he learned. It is a sword that is split up into links connected by steel wire, and can stretch up to 16 feet, four times it's regular length. The manifested weapon is more responsive as it is directly controlled by his will, not by mechanisms. It is manifested with emotions associated to the darker side of humans, such as wrath and despair. It can be utilized as a medium for as high as mid-rank darkness magic when enchanted.


Large caliber pistol: a regular large caliber semi-automatic pistol that could fire 13mm explosive bullets. It is a recent addition, and the manifested version has no need for reloading and suffers almost no recoil, firing mana with similar explosive properties to the original bullets instead of the original bullets themselves. It is manifested by his will to protect/defend, and can be used as a medium for low-rank mana manipulation, mainly used to shield himself or others. Needless to say, it can only block at most a metric ton of force which, while it sounds nice, can't even fully block a car going 15 mph, easily outdone by most magic or technology.


Gloves: surprisingly, his very own white gloves became a weapon he has manifested 24/7. Hinshi is not aware of the emotion they represent, however he suspects it has to do with some everyday emotion he experiences amply like joy. They grant him the lowest grade of wind manipulation, and he uses it in small pranks he likes to do.


Likes: Pranks, jokes, over the top excuses and stories, with the best for last being his morning cup of tea


Dislikes: Fools, mornings, loud noises, harm coming onto his students


Hobbies: Hinshi enjoys drawing and writing fantasy webtoons in his spare time, and is the writer and artist of a rather popular webtoon.


Short Background: Hinshi was born in a small town of Britain, living a pretty regular life before he discovered his abilities. He was a weapons, history, and overall fantasy geek 'before it was cool'. His friend, who was a blacksmith, presented him with a so-called 'Link sword' when he was 18 as a birthday present, and entranced with the weapon Hinshi spent eight years developing a way to use it as well as master it, doing small jobs around town for pocket change when he needed a boost in cash. After the strain he finally developed a way and mastered the weapon, making his abilities known, and actually causing his town to kick him out. He lived as a mercenary and assassin until the academy picked him up just in case some 'problem students arose'. This year is no different, especially with him actually teaching a class full of calamities waiting to happen called 'teens'.


Personality: Despite being a bit scared of his students, Hinshi is very caring and is more of a father than a teacher in the way he treats his students. This also means he doesn't restrain himself with punishments, either. However, he's easily overwhelmed, so he has trouble maintaining order in the class at times.
