After being handed the files through his suit, Aalard was quick to figure out the puzzle with the station's wire. Apparently it had something to do with notches on the cords. The entire system disregarded the coloring of the wire. It was a covert measure that had been mimicked in private stations since the Kniffin Mistake. However it was still complicated to figure out what each notch meant in regards to colors but Aalard was seemingly able to figure it out.
Perhaps it was just the older man's ingenuity that he saw a configuration or a pattern to piece a part the wires and snip. Bram didn't quite see how Aalard was able to discern the wires so easily from another but Bram didn't bother questioning his colleague when the man adjusted the wires and added his scrambler.
Aalard was just better at these kind of things. That was the explanation Bram put onto the situation. Not because he was offended or anything but mainly because they had been standing at this door for several minutes, Bram didn't desire to hear a lecture on electrician work. "I just hope every door isn't like this within the whole place," Bram said complaining about the paranoid doctor.
Being ordered to go and touch the door, Bram only slightly hesitated. "Fortunately this thing shouldn't actually give me a physical shock," Bram said laughing a bit. "I am also glad that I don't need my life support right now." He was more serious about that comment.
Opening the door by pressing his hand against the door, the bay port opened for them leading into the station's storage bay filled with cubbies, lockers and other large containers meant for incoming shipments. "Well, let's get going. We need to probably investigate what happened to this doctor before we just start rummaging through his storage and equipment finding AHC property."
