Pessimistic Optimist
Elliot caught on to Taylor's drift, and glanced sideways toward the log. Somehow, he felt like there wasn't a big enough time loop to trip him and escape. He had a ranged weapon, so even if they got far, he could still hit them when he regained his footing. Elliot slid his bottom lip between his teeth, keeping his posture firm and strong. Even if this guy was an inch or two taller than he was, Elliot was sure he could out wit him when it came down to it. He wasn't letting him hurt Taylor, and he also wasn't ready to die yet, either.xXRachaelXx said:Taylor looked over to the new... 'guest' and slightly glared at him. He was tall and most likely a bit clumsy on his feet due to his size. She saw a log not too far from where he stood which could easily trip him if he didn't look down like most people his height since they usually look ahead instead of down. She looked to the boy beside her, unsure of what to do. She raised her arms and looked to the log and back to the blonde, hoping he'll catch on. She didn't want to hurt anyone, but this guy may not even give her a chance to get along with him, let alone escape with both her, and her new ally alive. She then looked back to the giant. He was really mean and not trying to think that some of us had it just as bad if not worse as he did unlike the other boy who was understanding and sincere.
Elliot pursed his lips together, not putting his bow and arrow down until he was sure that this man wasn't going to pull a random swift attack on them. Eventually, after hearing him out, he put his bow and arrow away. "Well, you seemed to be begging for trouble earlier - saying that unlike me, you'd kill her," he echoed him, but eventually allowed himself to laugh. "We ran pretty far from the Cornucopia, and this pond is pretty secluded. Most of the other tributes are probably going to head for the larger rivers and lakes," he stated, and shrugged. "Perhaps we can find another further out?" He suggested, looking towards Taylor for approval. He then turned back to Orion. "I'm Elliot," he began, holding his hand out for him to shake. "And, with the variety, I think we'd form a pretty good alliance," he showed him a friendly smile. "And hey-I'm not that small," Elliot stated, being that he was only a couple inches shorter than this man was.DemetriRockwell said:Orion looked at the guy and stared him back down.He wasn't in the mood to kill anyone and frankly thought these two would make excellent allies."Fine ill stand down."He says and putting his bow down walked over to them.He put his arrow back into the quiver and held his hands up."Looked I don't want no trouble, but umm were not exactly that far from the cornucopia and those District 1's and 2's are probably forming their alliances now.Now I may not be or look very nice but we can help eachother,im big and able to draw attention, you guys are small and can take out the competition and in the end me and you can have our little stand off guy...that is if we can come to an alliance."He said and looked from one to the other.
