Testing Humanity (1x1) [Telios and SaphireTsuki)

[Telios]

"So we kinda have the same hobbies." Telas smiled.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"Kinda, yes." She also loved reading, but... well, they enjoyed the same hobbies that one can do alongside someone else.

 

[Telios]

Soon they arrived at the Library and. Telas walked in.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

Selena followed him inside the library, smiling at the smell of books and hum of computers. Yes, it was always nice to come here... "Professor Cilan?" She asked, calling out curiously.

 

[Telios]

Telas followed Selena close, looking around.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"Yes, Selena? Is that Holocomputer not working out?" Selena shook her head no at the tall, blue-haired woman who stood in front of her, having just left the maintenance area of the library.


"No, Telas needs one."

 

[Telios]

"I just arrived here and I'd like to have one, please." Telas asked.

"Of course, this way. Selena, please wait here." Selena nodded, sitting in a chair near the door while Dr. Cline gestured Telas to join her inside the room. "Any specific features you want it to have?"

 

[Telios]

"Hm... Being able to change between a tablet and a laptop, please. That'd help." Telas answered, thinking.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"Hmm... so both traditional and holographic capabilities... as well as writing and typing form." Dr. Cline danced around the room, taking down boxes before putting them back, "Do you want an art program? Video? Free streaming licenses? Plan on playing games with it?" She paused, looking over at him with a conspiratorial look in her eyes. "Spy cam? You can take photos of your crush when you're not around. If you have one."

 

[Telios]

"Ah no spy cam please. But I'd like the video program, free streamline license along with being able to play games on it." Telas answered.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"Right, then let's go with..." She put back the one she had grabbed and took out a significantly larger box. "I'm doing you a favor, since I like you. Here's the delux version, sans spy cam, with everything. Even licensing. If you want the cam, come and see me anytime." A wink, the box goes onto a table, and she crawls down. "Even gave you a music program, not sure if you'll use it, but it's there."

 

[Telios]

"Thank you very much." Telas said with a smile, picking up the box.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"you're welcome. Any problems, come see me. I'll set it to rights." And not just because it was her job. "I teach computer sciences, so you'll be seeing me tomorrow or Friday."

 

[Telios]

Telas nodded and walked to Selena with the computer.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

Dr Cline followed him out, humming a techno tune softly, which was the only warning Selena had before said doctor sidestepped Telas and mussed Selena's hair, "Don't you have the perfect mentorrie? So nice and polite, not at all like Janet's. Oh, don't scowl at me like that, yes I know you don't like being reminded of her." Selena, who was indeed scowling, huffed and removed the doctor's hand before standing up.


"I love talking to you, but really? stop with the Janet talk." She turned to Telas, scowl replaced with a soft smile, "You got everything you need, Telas?"

 

[Telios]

"Yup." Telas nodded with a smile, carrying the box.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

"Ok, then let's go to our suite, I'll help you set it up." It wouldn't take long, not if Dr. Cline had given him one of hers.

 

[Telios]

Telas nodded and followed Selena.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

Shortly after they arrived, Selena opening the door for the burdened Telas. "Here we are, I guess."

 

[Telios]

Telas put the box in the middle of the suite before starting to open it carefully.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

Selena, now watching him open the box, remembered something she needed for him. And thus she went into her room, taking out a paper for him, which held the login information for the school's net.

 

[Telios]

Telas started to set up the holocomputer.

 

[SaphireTsuki]

Selena returned to the main room, walked over to Telas, and asked "Need any help, or are you good?"

 

[Telios]

"I think I'm good." Telas said.
