Testing Humanity (1x1) [Telios and SaphireTsuki)

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a headache." Nothing to worry about, she was just tired. Or, so she thought, though it was worse the longer she looked at the computer.

"Yeah... just..." A sheepish smile, "I guess I should take a break, though." She moved away from the computer, letting herself sit down on a nearby chair, one hand resting on her forehead lightly. "Sorry to worry you, though." It still was bad, so she put her head in her hands, hoping that would help.

((Lol, headaches are torture. I know. Luckily there's an easy fix, if you can figure it out, in this case...))

Selena slowly rubbed her temples in circles, taking deep breaths and hoping the pain would slowly fade, what looked like guilt on her face.

"How are you feeling, though, Puras?" her eyes closed, the pain receding a little bit now, not much... but she could think again.

A nod, "Keep a wet rag on your forehead or neck, it's helped you cool down each time you've collapsed so far, so it might help prevent it." A deep breath, "As for your headache... nothing I can do about that. I've got one and it's not going anywhere."

Puras took a wet rag and put it over his neck. "Much better..." He breathed out. "So how did you get the headache. Too much work?" He asked.

"I think it's a fatigue headache, I didn't fall asleep until... about four in the morning?" She didn't meet his face just yet.

"I thought the paper was due this morning!" The sad excuse didn't work that well, though... you could hear her own defeat.

She nodded, letting her head return to her hands. "I just want it to stop, but I can't, so..." So she'd decided to do something else to get her mind off of it.

A soft, tired smile, "that's right. I... must be giving you a headache right now. Sorry." Honestly, she was. He didn't deserve the headache she must be giving him.

"Why are you researching on human biology? Are you trying to be a doctor?" Puras asked, looking to her with his right hand on his forehead.

"Yup. Families against it, though." A tiny smirk, "They wanted me to go into politics, like my dad. I'm sure I could, being a good arguer and all, but I would rather spend my days working towards a better, and certain, future than convincing a bunch of old men we need to move forward."

"Politics? Oh wow." Puras rolled his eyes. "I think you are better being a doctor." He said with a smile.
