Testing Humanity (1x1) [Telios and SaphireTsuki)

"It's so interesting, really. The way all of us evolved, the way we were shaped by environment and life..." Ah yes, there was her over enthusiasm.

"Yup..." Telas was interrupted by a yawn. "I'm heading to bed... I hope your work will be done soon..." Telas said before standing up and headed to his room.

A quick smile, "It'll have to be. I need to turn in the finished project tomorrow. Have a good nights rest." She waved at him, looking completely calm about it.

"No problem..." Telas said with a smile and headed into his room. He took a shower before going to bed.

Selena worked on her paper for most of the night, light low to preserve her night vision, and fell asleep as soon as she set it to print, computer glowing and papers and book still in place, head resting on her hands and asleep.

Telas quickly went asleep. Next morning, it was still weekends so he had another day with Selena. The fever stayed but lessened. Telas took a quick shower before going out of his room and to the kitchen, letting Selena be as he cooked breakfast.

((Lol, she had the days wrong. xD ))

Selena stayed asleep on the desk... even after she fell over, landing on the floor with a soft thud. Once she had her soft, regular breathing deepened.

Telas went out of the kitchen when he heard the thud, worried. "Selena..." He chuckled to himself once he discovered she was still sleeping. He walked over to her and picked her up before laying her on the couch. Telas then returned to the kitchen to cook up breakfast.

It wasn't long before the sound of food woke her up sleepily, slowly sitting up and rubbing one eye with her hand. "'mornin..." She mumbled, moving with many stumbles towards the kitchen.

"Morning." Telas said. He was better despite the fever was still there. He was cooking some breakfast like what he had learnt and practiced.

She nodded, tripping on a chair, blushing because of it. "S-shouldn't have slept so long. So... it's... what time is it?"

"9 AM! I'm late, I have to turn the paper in in less than five minutes!" Her eyes shot open, even as she let him help her up and she still wasn't very coordinated. "W-wait, shouldn't you be in class? No, class was later..."

She quickly ate, finishing the meal just a bit before Telas, and leaned back in the chair afterwards. "Well... at least I have time to go over my homework." Yes, that was a headache, and she really didn't want to deal with one born of fatigue.
