Testing Humanity (1x1) [Telios and SaphireTsuki)

"I'm thinking about being a programmer..." Puras said, thinking to himself as he looked up at the ceiling.

"You want to program machines and computers? That's cool." Not a hint of mockery in her face, she honestly felt like that. "You must be really smart."

"I have to learn a lot of codes and and computer languages. So I have to be..." Puras sighed with a smile.

"But it's worth it, right? Otherwise we wouldn't be doing jobs that need so much study." A gentle tap on his arm with her hand.

"And hey, if you hadn't been studying for that you might not have met me!" She gently, pulling away if he reacted negativly, leaned on him with her shoulder, not touching the ridge if she could help it.

Selena smiled softly, "I'm glad." A quiet murmur, she hated how they had to be in pain for the first week, so at least Puras would feel better soon.

Selena was surprised how warm and safe she felt, but aside from that... the silent presence slowly lulled her closer to sleep, her breath slowing and her getting more and more drowsy. If she hadn't always been aware of the ridge she'd have nuzzled up against him.

Puras snuggled up to Selena, trying not to touch her ridges. Sleep was looking over him as he slowly fell asleep.

Selena finally fell asleep just before he did... and woke up a few hours later to the sound of a growling stomach and a clear head. She slowly disentangled herself from him, planning on making a simple lunch for the two of them.

Selena, having made a simple soup for the two of them to eat, put them in two bowls and placed them on the table, planning on eating once Puras woke up.

"That's good. I'm just heating up the soup I made for us." And yes, there was a bit of stomach growling from her. A slight blush and her hand covering the offending organ.

"A-anyway, food! It's..." Beeping from the microwave, "Finished. At least, yours is." She rushed over to take it out and put hers in. Not that there was anything different about them.
