Marie was seated in a big, elegant looking chair. The evening had been quite exhausting for her, her father gave a banquet in honor of the noblemen. She thought about excusing herself to her room and faking head ache or something. The men, who were sitting around the table were diplomatics from different countries as well as knights from local lordships. She looked around at the men once more, her blue eyes shortly rested on one handsome man. She tried to figure out, if he was a knight or diplomatic without drawing attention to her. A moment later, her gaze flew the rest of the men and she sighed a bit to herself. Marie had tried to get into a conversation earlier but somehow everyone was eager to talk to her father than her.
