Name: Oliver Queen

Alias/nickname: Green Arrow, The Hood, The Vigilante, The Arrow

Age: Late Twenties (I'm assuming as the show wasn't specifc)

Gender and sexuality: Male and heterosexual

Species/race: Human

Appearance:

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_01/image.jpeg.8f856141d9416aa801ef01e3d928cfd6.jpeg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="99103" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_01/image.jpeg.8f856141d9416aa801ef01e3d928cfd6.jpeg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Personality: Before the island, Oliver was your typical "party hard" rich boy who often slept around and attended quite a few parties. However, he completely changed upon his return from the island. Under the guise of a billionaire attempting to reconnect with the world, he saught justice in his own way, often killing to get his point across. After the death of his best friend, however, he changed and gave up killing. He had always cared deeply for his family and friends, but became even more protective of them upon his return. He held no remorse for anyone that put his loved ones in harms way.

Backstory: Being a typical rich snob, Oliver Queen often spent his fortune on alcohol and parties. He slept around a lot as well, even sleeping with his girlfriend, Laurel Lance's, sister. His father decided to take a trip on their yacht, the Queen's Gambit, to the South China Sea and invited Oliver. At the last second, Oliver snuck Sarah (Laurel's sister) on board. During their trip, they encountered a huge storm that damaged the ship and caused it to begin to sink. While it was sinking, Sara was carried under the waves and presumed dead (but that's a story for another time). Oliver, his father Robert, and the ship's first mate had escaped on a life raft, but discovered there was not enough provisions to keep them all alive. Robert pulled out a gun upon this discovery and shot the first mate in the head. After that, he gave Oliver a notebook filled with names of people involved in the Undertaking (which Oliver would find out later) and shot himself in the head after telling Oliver to right his wrongs.

Oliver beached on an island called Lian Yu (Purgatory is the translation), and remained stranded in that part of the world (I'm not going over his flashbacks from every season because it would take entirely too long). Once he was rescued and returned to Starling City, he took up the guise of "The Vigilante" and began to take down the people written in his father's notebook, as well as several criminals. He learned his mother had become involved in something called the "Undertaking," a plot devised by Malcolm Merlin to level the Glades (basically the ghetto of Starling City) to avenge his wife, who was mugged and murdered there. Oliver uncovered this scheme and tried to stop it, but he failed as the Glades was partially destroyed and over 500 people were killed. He managed to defeat Malcolm Merlin, who had been the Dark Archer that rivaled Oliver.

The following months were hard for Oliver and his sister Thea as their mother was to be put on trial for the murders that occured on the night of the Undertaking. At the same time, a ghost from Oliver's past was plotting his revenge against Oliver. In the meantime, with the help of Felicity Smoak and John Diggle, Oliver took down escapees from prisons destroyed during the Undertaking and made sure the streets were safe. However, Slade Wilson, a man from Oliver's past on the island, had come back seeking revenge with a plot to use miracuru, a drug developed by the Japanese dung WWII in order to create super soldiers, to make an army of super soldiers to march on Starling City and take down everything Oliver cared for. Slade killed Oliver's mother in front of him, which killed him internally. With the help of the League of Assassins, Roy Harper (Thea's ex-criminal boyfriend from the Glades turned into his sidekick), Sara Lance (big shocker, she's alive), Oliver injected cures into all of Slade's soldiers and Slade himself. He took out the bad guy once again, but the city was partially destroyed in the attack. Shortly after, he went to WWE City and fought alongside Neville to beat Stardust and King Cosmic.

After a time, he was closely working with the police forces with Captain Lance to clear the streets of criminals. Things take a turn, however, when Sara Lance was killed by someone using a bow. Laurel hid this from her father at the cost of herself, and Oliver found solace in going to Corto Maltese to bring his sister Thea back to Starling City. Ray Palmer, a new millionaire in town who purchased Queen Consolidated, asked Felicity for her assistance in creating a new suit to help him fight crime and clean the city to avenge his fiance's death during Slade's attack.

Meanwhile, Oliver had been targeted by the League of Assassins, so he faced Ra's Al-Ghul in a duel to the death to clear his sister's name, who had been "brainwashed" into killing Sara. Oliver was stabbed through the chest and kicked off a cliff, but her survived and went back to Starling City after a while. When the League made an offer for him to join and becoe the next Ra's, Oliver accepted the offer to save his friends, until he found out that Ra's was going to use a virus he thought he got rid of five years prior in Hong Kong to kill everyone in Starling City. He stopped the threat with help from his friends and Malcolm Merlin, killed Ra's, and rode off in a convertible into the sunset with Felicity.

Known enemies/rivals: Slade Wilson (in prison), Malcolm Merlin (MIA), the Count (KIA), the Dollmaker (KIA), Valerie Bertinelli (MIA), Stardust, Cosmic King, Ra's Al Ghul, League of Assassins

Known allies/friends/family: Thea Queen, John Diggle, Felicity Smoak, Sara Lance, Laurel Lance, Barry Allen (yep, the Flash), Detective Lance (Laurel's dad), Neville

Companion: Felicity and Diggle via an earpiece

Weapons: After Oliver's first bow was broken by Merlin, he's been using a custom compound bow with an all green hue that is deadly accurate. He uses this in conjunction with his own custom arrows and a variery of trick arrows for non-lethal takedowns, as well as several flachette darts he has in special holsters all over his costume.

Gear/gadgets: Other than his trick arrows, he carries a variety of smoke bombs, a flash drive, flashbangs, and micro cameras.

Powers/abilities: While not possessing any abilities, he is extremely strong, durable, fast, and tough due to his five years of survival on a deserted island, coupled with training he continued back at home.

Skills: He is well-versed in hand to hand combat, as well as a master with a bow and arrow. He can fluently speak Russian and Chinese as well. He is extremely talented with computers as well, being almost as good a hacker as Felicity.

Weaknesses: His biggest weakness is his emotions, which tend to get the better of him when the people he cares about most are dragged into his fights.

Character quote: "You have failed this city!"

Character’s theme song: (Insert "Arrow" theme music here)

Allignment: Chaotic Good

Name: Jack (Last name unknown)

Alias/nicknames: Raiden, Jack the Ripper, White Devil, Mr. Lightning Bolt

Age: 35

Gender and sexuality: Male heterosexual

Species/race: Cybernetically modified human (cyborg)

Appearance:

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_01/image.png.5b0aa5c5ccb7272798d61636bc665094.png" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="99104" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_01/image.png.5b0aa5c5ccb7272798d61636bc665094.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Personality: Raiden gets the job done whatever it takes on his end, making him extremely persistant and often out-going during missions. This also makes him protective of those he is ordered to protect and deadly to those he is ordered to kill. Having been raised on the battlefield and having little time to adjust to civilian life, Raiden also believes that there is no other place for him other than a battle.

Backstory: Born in the country of Liberia, young Jack's parents were killed in an accident, so he was taken in by the country's leader, Solidus Snake. Solidus trained Jack as a child soldier since the age of 10 to fight in the Liberian Civil War. Little did Jack know that Solidus was the one who killed his parents. During his time in the war, he earned the nickname "Jack the Ripper" because of his excessively high bodycount compared to the other children.

After the war, he tried to retire and start a family with a woman named Rose. Jack would be deceived again, as Rose was a spy working for the Patriot organization. Shortly after he learned of this, he worked with Solid Snake in order to bring down Liquid Snake and Solidus Snake. Later, the Patriots captured Jack and subjected him to their new procedure that grafted a cyborg exoskeleton to his body, giving him greatly enhanced speed, strength, and durability. After this, he worked under a new codename: Raiden.

Afterwards, he worked as a PMC in the Middle East on a protection job guarding the prime minister of a Middle Eastern nation, but failed when a band of cyborgs overpowered the minister's defense force and killed him as well as severely wounding Raiden. This prompted several upgrades to be made to his existing cyborg body, giving him even more speed, durability, and strength. With this new body, he killed every member of the Desperado PMC group. Afterwards, he thwarted a scheme to monopolize warfare as a whole by destroying a monstrous Metal Gear bigger than a Ray.

Known enemies/rivals: The Patriots, Desperados, Sons of Liberty, Solidus Snake, Liquid Snake, Senator Armstrong

Known allies/family: Wife Rose, son John, Foxhound, Solid Snake (not Big Boss), Philanthropy

Companion: Blade Wolf: a cyborg wolf that can match Raiden's speed and assists him in battle.

Weapons: Raiden wields the Murasama, a Japanese blade forged in the 16th century that has been outfitted with technology that vibrates the blade at extreme speeds, disrupting the mollecular bonds of anything it touches and weakens them substantially, allowing him to cut through virtually anything.

Gear/gadgets: Stealth drone for insertion and retrieval for missions

Powers/abilities: Raiden always comes prepared for a fight, and these two modes are his two best killing tools he uses in the field.

Zandatsu-A mode Raiden engages that causes him to see time at a slower rate, but speed up his sword swings. This allows him to use extreme precision during sword movements, or to just swing his blade at high speeds and eliminate the opposition.

Jack the Ripper-When Raiden's pain inhibitors are taken offline, he will enter his old "Jack the Ripper" personality, increasing his already insane speed and strength, as well as giving him a drive to win at all costs. But, he feels a deep sense of regret afterwards, often leading to him secluding himself from the world and those closest to the

Skills: Raiden is able to lift and throw a Metal Gear Ray, which approximately weighs 10,000 tons, as well as run fast enough to beat bullet trains and run on walls, which doesn't even count for his updated body. On top of this, Raiden is an expert killer and swordsman after years of combat since he was a child.

Weaknesses: All of his cybernetic systems run on a limited power supply that needs to be charged. In battle against other cyborgs or mechanical opponents, Raiden will steal their power core and absorb their energy to charge up.

Quote: "I am lightning, the rain transformed."

Personality: Revan cares deeply about all those close to him and would search the galaxy to find them and take on powerful Sith Lords to protect them from harm. He jumps into action prematurely, but with good intentions.

Backstory: Thousands of years before Luke Skywalker destroyed the first Death Star, Revan served as a Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order that served the Galactic Republic during the Old Republic era. The Republic faced an enormous crisis: a militaristic race of human-like aliens known as the Mandalorians ravaged the Outer Rim of the Republic. Revan and his friend Alek pleaded with the Jedi Council to go to war against the Mandalorians, but the Council refused and urged for time to assess the threat. Revan grew sick of waiting and, with Alek and a large number of Jedi, went to war against the Mandalorians and turned the tide of the Mandalorian Wars. After he killed the leader of the Mandalorians and chased the remainder of their forces into the Unknown Regions, where he learned of the presence of an ancient Sith Empire ruled by the Dark Side of the Force. He and Alek faced the Emperor of this Empire, but they were too weak compared to him. Their minds were dominated by the Emperor and they were set against the Republic and the Jedi. A while into the war, he was attacked by a Jedi strike team, who captured him after his apprentice Darth Malak (formerly Alek) fired on Revan's ship. (( For the rest of his story, look on Wookiepedia or Google since it continues on in a video game (KOTOR), a book (Revan is its title), and cameos in another video game (SWTOR). ))

Alignment: Lawful Good

Name: Galen Marek

Aliases/nicknames: Starkiller, the Secret Apprentice

Age: 17

Race: Human

Gender/sexuality: Male/heterosexual

Personality: Galen Marek is headstrong, preferring action over words when faced with waves of enemies. He always believes that there is a way to beat whatever he is faced with regardless of how much he has to get beat up in the process to win. He cares deeply for his allies, and would gladly risk his own life to save them, or his love interest Juno Eclipse.

Appearance:

http://orig07.deviantart.net/21e7/f/2011/009/9/6/deep_breath_by_grizzled_dog-d36sh0z.jpg

Backstory: Galen Marek, codenamed Starkiller, was a male Human apprentice of the Sith Lord Darth Vader. A powerful Force-user who lived during the era of the Galactic Empire, Marek originated from the Wookiee home planet of Kashyyyk as the sole offspring of two Jedi Knights—Mallie and Kento Marek—who deserted the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars. Following the death of his mother, the young Marek's father was killed in battle by Darth Vader. Though only a child, Marek possessed an exceptionally strong connection to the Force that the Dark Lord of the Sith sought to exploit.

Thus, Darth Vader abducted Marek in order to train the orphan in the ways of the Sith Order. Although the Sith were limited to only two members at any given time, Vader nonetheless trained Marek as a secret apprentice during his own apprenticeship to Darth Sidious, the Sith Lord who ruled the galaxy as Emperor Palpatine. The physical and psychological trauma of Vader's unforgiving training regimen resulted in Marek's immersion within the dark side of the Force as his Master intended. With his childhood memories suppressed and his original identity forgotten, Marek only knew himself as the Dark Lord's apprentice; a Sith assassin who operated under the codename "Starkiller" and a living weapon to be deployed against the enemies of Darth Vader.

In addition to the assassination of numerous targets that included Vader's many rivals, the apprentice trained for years in preparation for the day when he would be ready to aid his Master in a confrontation with Darth Sidious. This singular goal became Starkiller's obsession as he longed to become a true Sith Lord. The pinnacle of Starkiller's training saw him deployed against Jedi targets for the first time in his life in 3 BBY and culminated in victories against the fugitive Jedi Masters Rahm Kota, Kazdan Paratus and Shaak Ti. With the death of Ti, one of the few members of the Jedi High Council who survived Order 66, Darth Vader declared that the time had come to execute their plan to overthrow the Emperor. Elated at the prospect of finally fulfilling his sole purpose in life, Starkiller rendezvoused with Vader on the Executor only to be betrayed and severely wounded by his Master who claimed that Sidious's spies had discovered the existence of the secret apprentice. Pressured by the Emperor, Vader demonstrated his loyalty by seemingly killing Starkiller. In truth, the betrayal was a ruse that allowed Vader to save his apprentice's life.

Upon Starkiller's full recovery in 2 BBY, Vader revealed his contingency plan: the creation of a full-scale rebellion against the Galactic Empire. The apprentice was instructed by his Master to assemble an army of rebels and dissidents in order to distract the Emperor's attention with a civil war, hence allowing them both another opportunity to assassinate Sidious. Though bitter and resentful toward Vader, Starkiller complied and searched several parts of the galaxy for influential contacts that would be crucial to the formation of an insurrection on a galactic-scale. Through Starkiller's efforts, three disillusioned members of the Imperial Senate—Bail Organa, Garm Bel Iblis and Mon Mothma—convened on the planet Corellia where they agreed to join their resources together in opposition to the Emperor's rule. However, the mission proved to be another deception on Vader's part; the Dark Lord betrayed Starkiller once more and captured the senators. Outraged by the discovery that his Master was unwilling to challenge Darth Sidious with Starkiller's aid, the former apprentice journeyed to the incomplete Death Star and intended to rescue his new-found allies from execution. Abandoning the persona of Starkiller, he re-embraced his Jedi heritage as Galen Marek through the partial recovery of his suppressed memories.

During the apprentice's infiltration of the nearly-complete battlestation, Galen Marek confronted and defeated his former Master in battle. Sidious hoped to claim Marek as his new apprentice and goaded him to kill Vader. Instead, Marek attacked the Emperor in a move to provide the senators with enough time to escape the Death Star. His plan succeeded, but ultimately cost the apprentice his life. Nevertheless, his sacrifice facilitated the formation of the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the outbreak of the Galactic Civil War. The early founders of the Rebellion remembered the apprentice as Galen Marek, the original architect of the Rebel Alliance, and honored his memory by adopting the Marek family crest as the official emblem of the Alliance.

Companions: None

Enemies/rivals: The Galactic Empire, Darth Vader, Darth Sidious

Allies/family/friends: Kento Marek (deceased father), deceased mother, Jedi Master Rahm Kota, Juno Eclipse, Alliance to Restore the Republic

Weapons: After losing his first lightsaber in space after Vader's 'betrayal,' Galen was given the lightsaber he took from Rahm Kota to act as his replacement. This saber had a single green adegan crystal as the focusing lens, but he changed it to a blue adegan crystal that he obtained from the hut on Kashyykk where his father was killed by Vader, his father's lightsaber crystal.

Gear/gadgets: Apart from a comlink and a holocommunicator, Galen has a Rangefinder that he uses to scope out enviornments during and before missions.

Skills/talents: Galen is an expert lightsaber duelist, having defeated Darth Vader and Jedi Council member Shaak Ti, both of whom were regarded as master duelists in their times. He uses bits and pieces of every lightsaber form, but he particularly specializes in Form III Soresu, Form V Shien, and Form VII Juyo, the latter of which is his preferred style even though he uses a Shien reversed grip on his lightsaber, which throws off many of his opponents.

Powers/abilities: Galen's usage of the Force is more for offense and aggression rather than any light side abilities, since most of his life was spent training in the dark side. His telekinesis is powerful enough to grab TIE Fighters mid-flight and redirect the course of a crashing Imperial Star Destroyer (that was an annoying section of the game). His Force Lightning is strong enough to kill a standard enemy in one short burst and temporarily short out an AT-ST and overload a TIE Fighter's systems, and his Force Pushes can send enemies flying hundreds of feet in any direction. His most devastating ability, however, is his Force Repulse. When Galen uses the Force Repulse, he can charge up Force energy for a period of time then unleash it in a massive burst that can completely disentegrate weak enemies and ravage the enviornment around him after he uses it. He can also use it for tuteminis to deflect blaster bolts and Force Lightning without the use of his lightsaber, and he can use the mind trick for various uses both in combat and out of combat.

Weaknesses: Galen is quick to aggression in any situation and the attachments he has to his close friends can be easily exploited to bring out his rage, making him succeptible to fall to the dark side again.

Alignment: Lawful Evil

Name: None/Unknown

Alias/nickname: The Dark Apprentice

Age: Chronological-2 years/Physical-20

Species/race: Clone

Appearance:

latest

Personality: Unlike the clones that preceded him, the Dark Apprentice was able to overcome Galen Marek's emotions, making him the lone success in a project filled with failures. To the delight of the lead clone technician who observed his progress, the apprentice managed to isolate the original Marek's memories; as a result, the clone could differentiate between his own thoughts and those of his genetic template. The Dark Apprentice grew to despise his template for his emotions and failures, ultimately feeling pride for rising above those weaknesses that had inhibited the clones who came before him.

Backstory: After Galen Marek, the original Starkiller, sacrificed himself to save his allies and the future leaders of the Rebel Alliance, Darth Vader took the lifeless body of Galen to the cloning facilities of Timira City on the planet Kamino and stored it to be preserved for an experiment. Vader wanted a more powerful version of Galen that would be subserviant to him, so he used DNA from the body of Galen to begin cloning an apprentice that would be more powerful than Galen, but with none of the weaknesses. However, the experiment began to show no hopes of success. All of the initial clones went mad as they couldn't separate their own thoughts from their genetic template.

But, after a year of experimentation, Vader's experiment bore a success. One clone was able to isolate the thoughts and emotions of his genetic template and seal them away. This clone was trained by Vader using an array of Sith Training Droids. His last test was to strike down a droid thst took the form of Juno Eclipse, Galen Marek's love interest, and he did it with ease. As a show of approval, Vader showed the Dark Apprentice the lifeless body of Galen Marek and explained his weaknesses and how the apprentice could be so much stronger.

As the Rebels attacked the cloning facility, Vader had created a plan to lure the renegade clone, who had broken out of the facility months before the attack, to the roof of the facility. The plan didn't go as planned, however, as Vader lost a lightsaber duel against the clone. Galen's old mentor, Jedi Knight, Rahm Kota then showed up to try and stop the clone from striking down Vader, but the clone tried regardless. He was then stabbed through the chest by the Dark Apprentice, who then later dispatched of Rahm Kota and his Rebel guard by Force Pushing them into the stormy ocean. The Dark Apprentice then took Galen's ship, the Rogue Shadow, as instructed by Vader, and went into the galaxy to search out and kill the rest of Galen's former associates.

Years later, Darth Vader dispatched the Dark Apprentice to the forest moon of Endor to stop the Rebels from destroying the shield generator protecting the second Death Star, and to leave no survivors. As the Dark Apprentice landed, he dispatched the local Ewok ambush with ease, destroyed the Rebels' captured Imperial shuttle, and moved on the bunker.

His progress was halted by the smuggler Han Solo and his Wookie partner Chewbacca, who had commandeered a modified AT-ST to guard the bunker. After killing both, the Dark Apprentice moved through the bunker and kill anyone in his way, Imperial or Rebel.

At the end, he was faced by Leia Organa, who revealed that she had been training as a Jedi since her brother, Luke Skywalker, fell during the Hoth invasion. She held her own for a short while, but she eventually fell before him. On board the Death Star, the Emperor revealed to Vader that he knew of the existance of the Dark Apprentice and threatened to kill the treacherous "Skywalker." Vader drew his lightsaber in defense, but the Emperor brought him to his knees with his lightning. He then ordered an Imperial captain to move in and take out the clone, who sat meditating on the radar dish of the bunker. It is unknown what happened to the Dark Apprentice.

Enemies/rivals: The Rebellion, the Emperor, the Empire

Family/friends/allies: Darth Vader

Companion: None

Weapons: Two lightsabers, each using a single red synthetic crystal as the focusing lens.

Gear/gadgets: A holo-communicator

Powers/abilities: Being trained in the Dark Side of the Force, Starkiller has a wide variety of powerful Force abilities at his disposal. He can use Force Lightning, Force Push, Force Repulse, Force Choke, grab and throw objects with the Force, and mess with the minds of mentally weaker opponents using the Force. His connection to the Force also gives him sort of a sixth sense, allowing him to read the minds of others and sense danger. He can also sense the presence of other Force Sensitives, or hide his own.

Skills/abilities: Given the aggressive nature of his fighting style complimented by the reversed grip in which he holds his two lightsabers and the skill in which he uses his lightsabers, it is clear the Starkiller is a master of the Juyo, Niman, and Shien lightsaber forms, as well as a master of Jar'Kai dual fencing. He can use the Force to enhance his physical capabilities as well, allowing him to jump higher, run faster, and react faster than a typical individual. He is also proficient in Teras Kasi unarmed combat, but his martial skill is higher when using his lightsabers.

Weaknesses: His connection to the Dark Side also leaves him vunerable to mental unstability, even being able to lose control of himself. Most users of the Dark Sides draw on their emotions to fuel their Force abilities, and most can learn to feed off the anger of others in order to further boost their powers. These people also know to check their emotions in the case they lose control, and he has not yet learned this. Also, his body may be older than his mind, but it is still young and his pain tolerance is low.

Character quote: "Hate...for his weaknesses. Disgust...for his failures. And pride for rising above them." -Dark Apprentice upon being shown Galen Marek's body

Universe from: XCOM

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Name: Extraterrestrial Combat Unit

Mottos: Vigilo, Confido (I am watchful. I am relied upon.) Bellator in Machina (Warrior in the Machine) Mutare ad Custodiam (We Change to Protect)

Species/race: Human

Insignia:

Backstory: XCOM's activities officially began when the Council activates the XCOM Project in 2015 due to an alien invasion. It consists of all the facilities, materials, and personnel set aside or recruited as a top-secret contingency against alien invasion. Composed of some of the best military and scientific personnel the member nations have to offer, XCOM works to defend Earth from the extraterrestrial threat not only through direct intervention but also by studying the alien life forms and their technology which may reveal both weaknesses and reverse-engineering opportunities respectively. XCOM develops advanced weapons such as lasers and plasma. They create new armor that allows for invisibility or jetpacks. During the early stages of the invasion they capture several aliens. Through interrogations they learn the location of the alien base. Before they can attack the base, a human group known as the EXALT shows up. They work to thwart XCOM's efforts of fighting of the extraterrestrial invasion. In response, the Council tasks XCOM with eliminating these traitors of mankind. They manage to stop EXALT and refocus efforts on the aliens. XCOM reaches the alien base and clears it of aliens. They recover to important things from the base, the Hyperwave relay and the secrets of Psionics. Through Psionics XCOM soldiers were able to do many new things with their mind. Things like inspiring allies while causing enemies to panic. They research the Hyperwave relay and adapt it to their own means. They use the relay to reveal a cloaked ufo that was fast than any plane at XCOM's disposal. In response they created the Firestorm. The advanced plane was built by combining alien technology and human technology. They dispatched a Firestorm to shoot down the cloaked ufo. At the crash site XCOM fights a new alien. Its Psionic power was unmatched by anything XCOM had seen. They kill the alien and recover a device it was guarding. Upon retrieval of the device a massive alien appears from nowhere. XCOM quickly researches the device and uses it to get aboard the alien ship. XCOM wipes out everything aboard but due to the death of the alien leader the ship begins to self destruct and turn into a blackhole. A solider stays aboard the ship and flies it out of Earth's atmosphere to prevent Earths destruction.

Known enemies: The Ethereal Collective (The Aliens)

Known rivals: EXALT

Known allies: The Council of Nations

Base: XCOM travels from location to location inside of a repurposed alien ship called the Avenger.
Xcom2-Avenger1.jpg

Research Labs:
200
The research team, headed by Dr. Vahlen, can be found in this location. The laboratory allows XCOM to research upgrades and new equipment.

Engineering:
200
This facility, managed by Dr. Shen, allows XCOM to build a wide variety of items that have been researched by the scientists in the labs or designed by the engineers in the Foundry.

Air force: XCOM pilots fly the hybrid fighter craft called the Firestorm. They are equipped with either EMP cannons or the Fusion Lance.

185

Solider Classes: Assaults specializes in close combat.

Heavy specializes in using explosive weapons.

Snipers focuses on taking enemies out from afar.

Supports h
eals, conceals, and buffs allies; provides suppression fire.

MEC Troopers are operators of
MECs, these soldiers act as heavy fire support and cover destroyers, and can be built to excel in close combat.

Subclasses: Psionic soldiers can possess a supplemental set of psionic abilities. To test for psionic capabilities, a soldier must spend 10 days in the Psionic Labs.

Gene Mods abilities allow soldiers to be genetically engineered in the Genetics Lab, granting up to five modifications that provide superhuman abilities.

Weapons: Plasma Pistol (Sniper, Assault, Support)

latest

Plasma Rifle (Support)

248

Plasma Sniper Rifle (Sniper)

248

Alloy Cannon (Assault)

248

Heavy Plasma (Heavy)

248

Blaster Launcher (Heavy)

248

Particle Cannon (MEC)

248

Tactical Subsystems (MEC secondaries)

Armor: Titan Armor is among XCOM’s heaviest designs. It enhancing a soldier's protection from weapons fire, while also providing immunity to fire and toxins.

185

The Archangel Armor combines heavy armor with a small propulsion system that allows for limited flight capabilities. Sealed: internal air supply and recycling systems provide the wearer immunity to poison and airway interruption Flame Resistant: cooling systems and alien alloy construction confer immunity to environmental fire damage

292

Ghost Armor: By integrating a stealth field based on the phase-shifts observed in the hyperwave beacon, this suit makes it extremely difficult for the wearer to be detected in the field. It should be noted, the stealth system is only effective when used by a soldier in cover.

185

Psionic Armor: It’s the most powerful armored suit, this equipment serves to amplify the wearer's psionic abilities through a system modeled after the alien's own cybernetic implants. However, it should be noted, this armor can only be equipped by a soldier found to have Psionic abilities.

185

Mechanized Exoskeletal Cybersuits, or MECs, are powerful battlesuits that mount an array of useful weaponry and support equipment. Each MEC can be customized to fit specific tactical approaches. If a
MEC Trooper dies, his MEC can be recovered and repaired in the Cybernetics Lab.

195

Gear/gadgets: Items (XCOM: Enemy Unknown)

Powers/abilities: Class abilities (XCOM: Enemy Unknown)

Skills: Quickly research alien technology and build equipment from it

Weaknesses: Small air/ground force

Named Characters: Shaojie Zhang is a former Triad operative that defected to XCOM. When his boss was planning to sell a recovered alien device to the aliens, he took it and contacted XCOM. They escorted him out of China and he joined as a soldier.

300

Annette Durand is a human civilian with powerful latent psionic abilities who is rescued from an EXALT convoy.

300

Central Officer John Bradford is an officer attached to XCOM. He reports to the Commander and often confers with Dr. Shen and Dr. Vahlen. Bradford is frequently referred to and answers to the callsign Central. He’s the junior commander and provides intelligence on objectives, and alert the Commander of additional alien threats.

300

Dr. Raymond Shen is the lead engineer attached to XCOM and oversees manufacturing, and base facilities construction. Dr. Shen displays some concern over the extent and application of the alien's technology. He is especially horrified by the extent to which some species of alien have been genetically altered, or augmented with machinery, and questions whether
humanity is headed in the same direction. His comments are often contrasted with those of Dr. Vahlen, who seems far more interested in any new alien technology the team recovers.

300

Dr. Vahlen is the lead
scientist, seemingly an astrobiologist by profession, attached to XCOM who oversees the project's research laboratories.

R. Buckminster Fuller

"Hello Commander,

In light of the recent extraterrestrial incursion, this council of nations has convened to approve the activation of the XCOM Project. You have been chosen to lead this initiative. To oversee our first... and last line of defense. Your efforts will have considerable influence on this planet's future. We urge you to keep that in mind as you proceed.

Good luck, Commander."

Waagh!

A gathering of Orks generates a psychic field known as the Waaagh!, which allows Orks to instinctively recognize who is "bigga" and therefore in charge. The Waagh! also seems to warp reality to fit Orkish beliefs, allowing their ramshackle technology to function properly. If Orks are convinced that their designs are sound and functional, the Waaagh! makes them so. Other races have found that many Orkish devices simply do not work unless wielded by an Orkoid. Similarly, it is an article of faith among Orks that explosives become more powerful when they're painted, and that their vehicles go faster when given a Red Paint Job. This may sound nonsensical, but because the Orks believe this to be true, the Waaagh! makes it true.

It's kind of important for the Orks because their tech lack certain parts sometimes, like triggers and ammo clips.

It would matter that much. They would take a device apart and use it to improve other tech.
They would probable wonder how the Orks are able to make things like teleporters from scrap.

Ork Vehicles

Killa Kan: A large metal can mounted on two piston powered legs is the standard design, although as with anything Ork there is a large degree of variation. They are most often armed with a single heavy weapon welded onto one shoulder and a saw or pincer close combat weapon on the other.

Deff Dread: Large Ork combat walker that is essentially a cross between an Ork Killa Kan and a Space Marine Dreadnought. The machine is smaller than an Ork Stompa, but is larger than a Killa Kan.

Stompa: A small Ork Gargant, the equivalent of an Imperial Battle Titan of the Warhound or Reaver-class. In true Ork fashion, every Stompa is uniquely different, but equally deadly. The standard Stompa (if such a word can be applied to Orks) generally consist of one arm with some sort of massive hammer or chainsaw or equally suitable smashy-slashy thing, with the other arm consisting of several massive guns and rokkits, with the body festooned with more guns, though not as big as the main gun on the arm
