That's over two weeks... I hope he's O.K. Either way, we should take this into account with our RP here (and in the meantime, I'll include him in my prayers because it's a good thing to do).


@Epiphany Oh, and as cool as Zaile is to Taniya, Taniya has to speak up on her own behalf (as it's in her nature to do so). =)

So, for the name, I was thinking of a certain flower with thorns. "Roses." But, being the manly man of average looks that he is, he can't really say that. Could someone else suggest it, if they like it?
 
A mecha squadron called "Roses"? Hmm. If "Guns & Roses" weren't "taken" I could get behind that... That has an edge both of steel and softness to it. =)

I've seen an unusual level of turnover in my games lately. I do hope that @TechnoParadox is ok and is just busy. In any case, I'm ready to move on and say he will be assigned to guard the base upon your return to Anton-17. Thankfully the hole in the squadron is getting filled by @Kaerri and her medic.
 
lol Works for me. Just have someone suggest it IC and we can go from there.
 
Hmm. Hey, Sherwood (and everyone)? If Techie is otherwise indisposed, how about we set up our personnel like this? Tolson with Taniya, The Kid with Zaile, and Eadric with Connor? Since Kevin is in a one-seater Spartan, I think we're a full house now. That sound about right?
 
Before moving the story forward, is there anything you wish to do in the town? I want to make sure I don't rush forward too quickly on the return to Anton-17.
 
Yes. Taniya wants to make a run by the PX prior to leaving Anton 17, plus she would like a brief moment with her crew.


Re: "Red Panda" Squadron. My character is in for a shock. She's imagining a red panda to be something like this...

How about "Red Panda Fury" or how about "Furious Red Panda's", "Glorious Red Panda's", "Mighty Red Panda's", "Red Panda Thunder", And this one is just for me being silly, "Fluffy Red Pandas"


Sherwood, do I have a crew that helps me out in the fields with maybe a salvage truck? If I do, might it be possible to haul away a semi-functional mecha? I also wanted to ask you about the possibility of getting a specialized suit of power armor (Cyclone) but with the armaments replaced by tool, and parts storage. The enhanced strength would make disassembling easy, as well as repairs. Not to mention if something goes boom, The Kid will have that extra protection. I'll post after I get an answer to all this stuff.
 
There ought to be some places left, comparing the map here to the habitat map on Wiki. Eadric wouldn't know for sure because he hasn't had reason to look into it.

At this time, you don't have a crew or a way to move any salvaged mecha away from the scene. Perhaps on another mission. Also, to be truthful, there is little call for the older Zentraedi units; the human gear is much superior.


Cyclones are not done being invented yet. I have plans to have you guys transfer to the REF fleet and then you will be able to learn how to operate the new cycles. Soon, but not yet.
 
So Taniya would prefer a creature they might paint on their mecha, a type of creature so unusual, so mighty, and so alien to the Malcontents as to provide advantage over this fearsome race of giant warriors.

To those new to Robotech, Zentraedi new to human interaction (and this likely goes for most Malcontents) are sometimes surprised by the act of kissing, as it does not exist among their own people, yet the sight of it often brings forth emotions they are not used to feeling. =)

Hey, Sherwood? I didn't want to post in IC again so soon (want to give others the chance to post), but my character is ready to meet the major. =)
 
The Kid wants to, acquire, some of the protoculture tanks from the older mecha, is that like a no no? Mind he wants to keep the old charged tanks for his own experimentation. Now if he can, legally, salvage the older tanks, he'll go that route, if not. He'll ask the Sarge if he can "Hide" a few, just in case.
 
Heya, folks! I am not posting as often as I like to as I continue to work 6 days a week (now entering the third month! Oh boy!). While Real Life Always Comes First, I just wanted to toss an apology for not writing as often (or with as much content) as I would like... Still I will post as able! =)
