Entirely understandable. My own life is getting quite a bit more busy (in 6 months, I'm going to have a kid!) so I can relate. :) Also, congratulations on being player of the month! I assume you saw that in the October newsletter? :)
 
Wow, that airdrop video! Lots of confidence from the crew inside. I don't know that I'd want to be standing right next to it when it left - what if it caught on my sleeve or something??


Do you want the rolls here or in the IC thread?

Darn it; I was hoping that Taniya would have a moment to hit the PX and then have a few minutes with the squad before the big headquarters hit...

Sorry about the rush, but if you think about it, a military strike is going to be time sensitive against a target of high priority like this. Move as fast as possible to make sure that the Malcontents don't move their vital assets.
 
lol You won't die; you'll just not land as gracefully as the rest.
 
Oh, I don't for a moment challenge the sense of the situation; I'm just bemoaning the fact that if we don't get 15 minutes of free time after this mission, folks will get to see Taniya somewhat annoyed is all. =)

@Epiphany Oh, and I completely forgot to answer your question - Yes! And it is a real honor to be chosen Member of the Month out of 20,000 Rpers!! 1 out of 20,000! Wow! That's like... the chance of Taniya figuring out red pandas without any help from the rest of the squad!! =)

Why Eadric wanna gank Connor's dice like dat? Ha ha! And poor Kid for riding in the back seat! Oh, I know - Eadric just wanted to get more usage out of those Spartan hands! Hee hee. Having said all this, I firmly await Karma's coming by and ganking my own dice at some point during a critical moment. ("Look! We'll all be allowed to fly Veritech Fighters if Taniya can just make the awesome cannon shot that impresses the RDF! Here goes!" *rolls another one...*) =)
 
Our squad has left Anton-17 to head the coordinates provided by our earlier radio work. After getting quickly rearmed, refitted, and requested by Captain Marx, we were sent straightaway on the "Tunny" aircraft (see Sherwood's item notes) so our mechs could be air-dropped into position.


Epiphany rolled badly, but is only jarred and shaken up. Connor rolled equally badly, so expect him and The Kid to feel like a pair of six-sided dice in a game of craps right before they get rolled.


That's the short version anyway. =)
 
Yup. That's the long and short of it. Now that all of our pilots have posted, we can move on.
 
A wonderful thing has happened this week, friends - I have two whole days off this week! This is the first time in months that's happened! Wooo!

@Beowulf I just love your new signature. Red Panda sez "MOOOOARR!" Wait... No they don't... Red Panda sez, "Snorrrrrre, zzzzzzzzz...." =)
 
I know. I'm spreading such happiness with my posts. Now, how to gently tell Taniya about how red pandas aren't blood thirsty animals?

Because the longer she is left dreaming, the more pissed she's going to be when she comes out of it, knowing full well that her teammates did nothing to break the spell? Ha ha! =)

Oh, wow, I've been gone for a while and forgot all about this. I'm too busy to continue, other than early afternoon and late at night. Wednesday-Thursdays are the only real free days I have. Not sure how fast things are going, though considering I'd only be able to post every 12 hours I'd only end up slowing things down.
