Tales of Ristafel

Most the intro, such as it is, was "guy or girl does thing, this displeases another guy or girl, who gets into an argument that quickly escalates into violence which then fizzles out both because of IC reasons and to avoid breaking up the party at the start"

The cave description post party includes anyone who wanted to come with Crawley and Laria. Of course, you are free to roam around the zone or going back and grabbing some trees.

If you need to go somewhere else, you can announce either IC or OOC where you want to go and I will give a small description of the zone.

So is like the GM absent or something cuz I'm still waiting on that answer regarding the tech levels

so hey @spandez did Ragnvald like, teleport into the clearing? 'cause going slow and steady yet somehow still getting ahead of the guy doing Hulk leaps with enough time to make tea out of nowhere and craft a rope out of grass just feels absurd.

Maybe Ragnivald, through years of cardio training, actually hooved it through the clearing and tried to make it seem like nothing?

Though if we go with the teleport approach, perhaps he found the Legendary Verdant Orb of Eliskar the Woodwhisperer. We all know the tale of how that Etherborn Lad created an orb that would teleport him to any tree, so he could form his Ent Army.

I kinda want to believe he was secretly piggybacking on Ajax for long part of the journey. Then when/if Ajax took a small bathroom break he immediately sprinted the rest of the way there. And while there he finished a lot of half to mostly finished stuff.

Shame those iron rods be pointed, with such weight they would've been excellent caning tools. Maybe a tad short, but definitely would be effective.

The answer is "zen bullshit which amounts to teleportation."

yeah that's pretty bullshit alright, considering I'm not seeing anything in your CS that lets you just magically teleport. Kung fu gliding jumps or a ninja run or whatever? Sure I guess, though it'd still be bullshit that he can "take it easy" yet still be so far ahead of this guy doing power leaps that he can make tea and a rope out of grass.

Edited. I rememberd the post being less uh... horrible. I've been working through some illness lately and it looks like the cold meds messed with the post quality.

Alright, to sum things up, i don't want to completely leave, because i was just starting to like things, and what not, although my life just got extraordinary busy all of a sudden, and i will not be able to post often, and whenever i get on, i have to read through so much of what is oging on, and i just cant keep up with it.

Long story short, I have 3 weeks to finish a lot of work in my house, and between doing that and work, and social life, i just, haven't had the time to sit down and read everything and post a half decent reply.

@Darksoul180 Feel free to send me a private message asking for a summary in the future and I'll give you all the main events. Here's what has happened since you were last here:

The party began the adventure and made their way into the mountains. A ways into the mountain trails they found a large section of the trail wiped out by landslide (as in, the trail fell off the side of the mountain). There is an abandoned mine nearby, so some of the group has gone into it to find a place to sleep. Ajax and Brother Reynold have run back along the path we traveled to bring tree(s) to make a bridge.

Inside the mine there is an open room with a hole in the ceiling that allows airflow (handy for smoke from a fire) full of old tools. There is also a pile of iron ore. Lily and Pressmaster Crawley have scavenged for supplies, finding a length of rope in good repair, a rather rotted folding ladder, and some pointed iron rods. The mineshaft extends a large distance into the mountain and runs as straight as a paladin's back.

Laria, Hachi, and Beltway are in the main room of the mine. Laria has just fainted from overexcitement, causing Beltway to challenge Hachi to a duel to first blood for her heart. Emerald is also in the room, and has summoned wood for a fire. El Saldo has been giving Vallen advice, and led him into the mine room. Ophelia showed up somewhere during our hike from the feast to the mine/broken trail, and is also currently inside the mine.

Finally, Ayrenn officially left the group (the player left the game). Diavolo also seems to be MIA, and at this point I don't think we'll be seeing him or his character again.

Sorry, everyone. I encountered some problems that I did not expect at all.

I am surprised and somehow grateful that you chose to continue this rp.

Sadly, I will no longer be in this rp or in this site as a whole. There is no promise that I will return, but I will try. Again, thank you for continuing this.

Damn, I am sad to hear that. I hoped you would join us somewhere later in the quest.

Would you mind if I opened another thread for this roleplay using similar lore? I would like to have a Lore tab for putting stuff there.

Worry not, my friend. It will not blow up.

Well, at least I hope so, but I will try to damage control in case the players go crazy.

Also, making a roll call for @TheeeIrish @DergTheDergon @The Velveteen Rabbit @spandez

We will open a new thread as soon as you finish the current puzzle. It will start just after we get to Sigmar's Mausoleum, and since it will be open to new characters, expect some minor retcons (new characters have always been there, etc). You will be allowed to modify your CS as you see fit, but to avoid making things go crazy it would be best if they were left mostly untouched.

Also, sorry for not posting for some days. I've been busy this weekend, but everything is sorted out now so I expect to have more time to write some replies. Although I am kind of waiting until Hachi and Beltway start fighting.
