Surnaturel Academy

I'm not so sure if now was a good time for Newtype to have ended the class. The GM hasn't accepted any new teachers, so Newtype's going to have to act as the teacher for another non-combat class.

Well, unless "Origins of the Four Elements" or "Origins of Spells" is students beating each other over the head with flash cards, I'm thinking it's gonna be another non-combat class.

Maybe you can have a strangely generous between-periods "get to class" time, until PassionBlossom hops on and accepts people.

An abilities class would kinda both fit well with my plans for Masako, and ruin them. 'Eh, now's not the time to care if Masako finds herself almost kicked outta the academy for lack of supernatural existence. I say we do it, and when Masako's turn for whatever comes up, she finds out she doesn't even have her normal powers and can't do shit but use a weapon xD

What good would a second Abilities class do? Why the hell aren't the teachers here for the first day of school? All you have to do is wait for PassionBlossom to accept the new characters (both of which are teachers) and the problem will solve itself.

Watch the comedy known as Masako's ability to talk and touch other people as she goes crazy happy from being able to do the two things she hasn't done in forever?

I'd like you to list these reasons. In the mean time, students will do what all students do when they're out of class: socialize, wonder about how the next class is going to go, and walk to class instead of relying on teleportation.

  • Got attacked by (insert foe)
  • Lost
  • Non combat staff meeting
  • Staff Lunch
  • Unfortunate Accident and now their unconscious where it'd be hard to find them

Those aren't reasons for why holding a second Abilities class would be a good idea. Those are reasons for why staff members are missing. As a student teacher, when the majority of the faculty have to do something that isn't teaching, they give the students an extended study hall. They don't force the one non-attending teacher to reteach the lessons they just taught.

There'd also be, like that one teacher for Defense & Logic, a sudden resignation.

He was listing the reasons the teaches wouldn't be there.

Sorry, didn't mean to ask for reasons why the teachers wouldn't be here.

Plus, if there's a school emergency as big as "The faculty got attacked/mysteriously disappeared", I'm damn well certain that Mr. X is obligated to help find them. Unless, of course, the school has multiple ultimate fighters.

It was more along the lines of no one would know

I wasn't planning on reteaching lesson but rather teaching a new one and getting one class ahead

But study hall sounds good

The sudden nonexistence of a large portion of the school's staff would almost certainly be noticed, especially one that's embroiled in such a bloody war. In fact, there'd probably be some sort of school emergency.

One or two teachers is still extremely suspicious. Plus, there's three prospective teacher sheets (plus UltraYuseke's possible teacher).

Staff lunch is absolutely no reason to cancel classes. I've seen teachers eat lunch while teaching their class.

A teacher resigning on the first day of school is an absolute no-no. The fact that you had Mr. Z do that is quite silly. That goes double when their class is about to start.
