I find another room. Aha! Another victim lies on the floor. Wynd rushes over to them. “Are you escaping? You might wanna get a move on! Guards are coming fast!”

I here someone talking above me and I hope there here to make the blaring stop. " Please just make it stop!" I shout at them with my eyes still shut tight and me curled even tighter.

Isabelle smiles softly at keethan and looks around for the others.
She could actually escape with her friends.
“we need to find the others and go!”
Isabelle yells, She looks around and grabs Harlow from the room they were in.
She sees a couple of the others and follows them.

I here someone talking above me and I hope there here to make the blaring stop. " Please just make it stop!" I shout at them with my eyes still shut tight and me curled even tighter.
Isabelle looks at her friend on the ground and grabs a gun from a dead guard and shoots the alarms.
“Come on we gotta go! I got Harlow!”

"What the fuck?" Aria muttered under her breath. One moment, half of the group was asleep when she proclaimed her want to escape and another, Isabelle rushed out of the door.

Crazy. They were all crazy. Or perhaps 'mad' was a better word for people that rushed off without any semblance of a plan. But it was what it was, so after her first shock, she followed. Aria swiftly took a gun from one of the dead guards and inspected it. She never held a gun, much less fired one. But she got the jist of it - aim at what you want dead and pull the trigger.

Aria glanced back at the dead guard. An odd sense of happiness flowed through her. She remembered him - snarling at her, gripping her too tight, his 'quiet' comments about her. He was dead and she was glad he was. She was pulled out of her thoughts by her fellow inmates' conversation. Could they escape? She doubted it. But she preferred to die escaping, and take a few of those bastards with her to hell, rather than die on the operating table, her psychic presence torn up to the amusement of psychopatic scientists.

But she was useless like this. She glanced over to the rest as they made their way down the hallway. Aria was no mastermind, but she remembered where was the room that they installed the blockers into her head. Spoiler alert: it was the other way. Her team would be fine, she decided. They already took down three guards. And Aria? Aria will survive too, even if only out of spite. So she made her way down the hallway, opposite as to where the rest of the group was headed, careful to not draw too much attention to herself, with her hands gripping the stolen pistol hard enough to make her knuckles go white.

Because when she gets the things off of her? Oh, the guards will be damned...

Wynd grits her teeth together as she becomes increasingly frustrated with the girl on the floor. “Come on! I can’t stop the freaking alarms, just stop being such a baby. This is life or death, and your crying on the floor in a institution full of armed guards. Make. Up. Your. Mind!”

I glance upward again to see that Isabelle had shot the alarms and the other girl that was screaming at me beside me. "Thank you! Now let's get out of here!"

Isabelle grabs Harlows hand and starts to run the others following.
“we gotta get out of here now!”
Isabelle is worried that they might be out of time.
She runs fast and hard until we’re in a forest. Crap. What to do now.

((( Aria was headed the opposite way tho??? )))

Wynd looks around, taking little time to pleasure at the feeling of the fresh air on her skin. So this is the outside world. Huh.
“Which way? What now? Have any of you thought this through? We’re in the middle of nowhere!”

As the rest of the group headed outside - or generally in the opposite direction as Aria, she had no idea where they were actually going - Aria made her way deeper into the building. She ran through the long, dusty hallways (you'd think they'd hire a janitor but no, apparently), slightly out of breath. She'll have to work on her stamina if she gets out of here - running out of breath after a short jog (pun intended) was less than ideal.

Then, two guards appeared out of one of the rooms. Startled, Aria's instinct was directed at fight, not flight. She lifted the gun she was holding and pulled the trigger.

She missed. Obviously. The girl never carried a gun in her life, cut her some slack.

So she tried again, this time successful. The guards dropped lifeless as she emptied her weapon. Relief coursing through her, she stopped for a second to take a breath, bending over slightly. It was then that she noticed that she was standing near a cell.

The decision was quick. She didn't even read the name before she pried open the doors to the cell that Scott was in. Aria felt an odd sense of protectiveness over every fellow inmate in the institute, even those she never met.

I blink at the harsh glare of the sun, so this is outside. I breathe in deeply enjoying how much cleaner the air seems. " I kind of feel like taking a nap" did I just say that out loud. I can wait until we're safe to do that. I mentally roll my eyes at my brain. I flare my wings giving them a much needed stretch, and shift through as many colors and patterns as possible. I sigh as the sun makes me feel all warm and cozy. I here someone talking and I jerk back into my senses." Oh I'm not sure where we are?"

Wynd pretends not to be intrigued by the rainbow of colors that flicker across the other’s scaly wings. What else can she do? I wonder, if I- no! No tests! That would make you just as bad as your captors. Wynd took a deep breath. “What next? Oh! You with the wings, why don’t you fly on up there and tell us where we are. Look for any buildings that could have food in them. I don’t have any money, but we might be able to steal some if we’re careful” And if I can use my power without being noticed.

Scott groggily looked at one of the guards fall to the ground as he watched as a woman rushed into his cell as he stared at her for a few seconds wondering why she was here and was glad she decided to save him as he nodded as a thanks leaning against the wall as he was out of energy for now as he ripped the wire on his chest then he decided to speak.

“Thank you....” Scott managed to say before getting up by holding the wall. He would definitely repay her back later but for now he was tired as he looked at her holding a gun and smiled feeling now they had a chance to escape, he knew she wasn’t a guard.

“What’s your name? How did you get that gun?” A lot of questions Scott wanted to ask but right now it didn’t matter, what mattered is she saved him and that really touched his heart and that things weren’t hopeless as he thought.

“Where are the others?” Isabelle looks around in the forest.
“Keethan?” “Anyone?” Isabelle was nervous to say the least.
Isabelle dragged Harlow around and found a stream.

I shake my head trying to focus. What is it with me being tired all the sudden. "Right ok I can do that." I fly upward turning the same color as my background so I'm not seen. I look around and see some flickering lights off in the distance beyond this woods. It must be a town. I fly back down to the ground. "I Saw a town just beyond the woods, we should find the others and go get proper food!" I blink as another wave of drowsyness hits me.

The fact that the man inside the cell was alive brought more relief to Aria than she would've thought.

"Aria. Aria Adara. Pleasure to meet you " she responded, giving him a once over, trying to asses if he had any injuries and if he was able to fight. "Fellow inmate, current escapee" she added to her introduction. She was about to answer his other question when she heard faraway footsteps (the hallways had fantastic acousitcs, it seemed). Aria looked down the hallway, worry tainting her features.

"Got it off a dead guard" she finally said, bending down to change her magazine and grab a second gun, this time for the man. She would pass it to him and head down the hallway again. "I'm headed to one of the offices to get this" she pointed to her temple, where a power blocker was attached "deactivated and away from me. I think other inmates escaped. You should be able to catch up with them, if you wish" Aria might've saved him, but she didn't want to pull him anywhere against his will. The Institute took away their choices the day they kidnapped them. Aria wasn't going to do the same.

"What's your name, by the way?"

“Scott, Scott Ramos,” Scott took the gun and nodded to her, “Nice to meet you Aria...so I’m guessing you’re a telepath, well I’ll help you get that thing deactivated.” Scott followed her and then looked behind them pointing his gun down the hallway, “I got your back, now we can keep going...” Scott then walked in front of her checking the corners as he waited for her to go to the office and then shot at the some guards behind them as the ground began to rumble and get stronger every second making the guards trip. Scott smirked as he hoped they would be held off enough as he looked at her, “let’s go.”

Isabelle starts to get dizzy and lightheaded. Her eyelids flutter shut, her legs start to buckle.
“No, no, no this can’t happen now!”
Isabelle collapses by the lack of nutrients and strain from running.
Her last thought is will this be the end of the line for her...

"Telepath, psychic - yeah, something along those lines" Aria agreed, heading to the office with Scott. It was nice of him, Aria decided, to go with her, especially since he didn't have to. Bigger chance of survival, too. "And uh, thanks for going with me" she added, shooting a guard ahead of her.

"So I'm guessing the earth shaking is your doing?" she asked. Not that she complained. Quite the opposite, in fact. There was something satisfactory about making the guards fall, especially after they were the ones to throw her and the other inmates on the ground so many times.

The door to the office soon appeared in front of them as they made their way further inside. Aria tried to open it, but to no avail. She cursed under her breath. "It's locked. Do you see any keys on the dead guards?"
