Fantasy Supernatural Teenage Drama

Ryder rolled his eyes and held out his hand in front of him, palm upwards. "Put your hand like this on top of mine and pick an element." His plan was for the each of them to pick an element and focus all of their concentration on that element, so that the combined outcome was even stronger than if it were being conducted by one person. "Concentrate on it at much as you can, but don't, like, drain yourself, you know? Just focus on it."

"Yeah, on top." Dexter repeated, doing as he was told. He thought it was funny that he decided to have his hand on the bottom, considering the statement he alluded to earlier. Dexter thought for a minute, thinking of an element that would be considered 'sexy'. He decided to not go for fire because that'd be too mainstream as a symbol for romantics. "Electricity." He whispered while wiggling his fingers from his other hand toward Ryder. Dexter nodded his head at the further instructions and began closing his eyes. "Focus.." He drawled again in fake arousal. He was enjoying this A LOT more than he thought it would; it took his mind off of the nervous he felt from being in the same room that had inflicted injury onto him.

Richard heard the knocking in his door

" I'm not here"

Richard recognized Charlotte's voice and fixed his hair as much as he could. He quickly opened the door and gave her a kind smile

" Already miss me?"

" Richard, this is important, look at what I found about the article "

Charlotte showed Richard what she could find before and waited for him to finish reading. She was really worried and didn't want to start a war at all.

" Should we tell someone?"

"God, you're helpless," Ryder muttered at the blatant flirtation before getting back on track. "Lightning. Okay. I can work with that, maybe." What was something compatible with lightning? He had a couple ideas, but the outcomes wouldn't sit well with their present company. "Er, ice." He didn't know why he picked such a lame-sounding element, but it seemed to fit well enough. Closing his eyes, Ryder concentrated on the concept of ice shards. "You focused?"

Dexter shook his head in disappointment. "Predictable response." As he concentrated, his forehead began to sweat rapidly and he squinted at the intensity of his power being flowed out of him. "Do I not look focused?" He snapped in a deeper voice, trying not to break his concentration.

Ryder raised his eyebrow at the tremendous effort Dexter was putting forth. Then again, controlling elements was more difficult for others than himself. Pouring his own energy in, he watched as the space above their hands vibrated from the tremendous amount of power. Suddenly, a loud bang resounded as the room shook and the temperature dropped to just below freezing. "Ah, s***, s***, s***," Ryder hissed as he pieced together what happened. He shot to the window and looked at the exterior of the room, eyes widening as he caught a glimpse of the giant shards protruding from the wall. "Well," he began, rubbing his arms to heat up. "We froze the room."

"You ever wonder how we got here?"

"Here? Well... we got angry at mom and dad, turned to metal without knowing it, and slammed out fist on a table, destroying it."

"No no... I mean... Here, on the ground."

Rob didn't feel like moving. He hurt, it was a pretty new concept to him. He heard cheering, a chorus of "Oooooohhhhhhhh!" coming from the teammates around him.

"Well... We forgot to turn to metal."

"I wonder why none of them care, none of them have come to see if we are alright. Not even coach."

"Ever think we're not liked very much?"

"I guess you gain enemies when you show off."

Rob rolled too his side and got up slowly. Pain surged through his body, almost causing him to vomit. He took off his helmet, just in case, and slowly stood up. Julian Deliphinki stood there, grinning his his football gear. Deliphinki was mostly made of rock, and almost as strong and indestructable as Rob was himself, except Julian couldn't switch back and forth, and was rather ugly. He also hated Rob because Rob could change back and forth, as if it was Rob's fault Julian couldn't.

"Maybe we should go to the nurse."

"The nurse? I suppose."

Rob tossed his helmet to the ground, and groaned as he took off his shoulder pads and threw them down too. "Hey Coach... Im done. Im gonna switch classes." Rob just nodded, mostly to himself as he walked back slowly toward the school.

"So how did we get there?"

"Where?"

"On the ground Tin Man, why didn't we switch."

"Miu. Its her fault."

"Why?"

"I can't get her out of my head. That stupid jerk."

"We'll have to remember to be mad at her when we see her again."

"Yeah, that makes sense, because its definitely her fault."

Edward's lesson ended fairly quickly. Yeah, because he finished teaching his lesson faster than he expected, but also because Martin popped up into the classroom and started talking to Edward about school news. By school news, Martin meant gossip. "So I heard that this kid Julian hit that big kid Rob" Martin said. "Heard or saw?" Edward asked. "BOTH!" Martin screamed in excitement. Most of the students weren't paying attention anyway because they were talking amongst themselves, that is except for Ryan who was making Nico drink his milk again. The baby just slapped Ryan's ear two minutes ago! So, Ryan decided to use his hearing and listen to Edward and Martin. "Eh...Mr. G said he's going to cancel that play practice later" Martin continued. "Why?" Edward questioned. "Because...actually I don't know why" As Martin explained, a message was sent to the cast members' teachers telling them that play practice was cancelled. Edward looked up from the message to Ryan, "Ryan, play practice is cancelled. But still practice....that was a message from Mr. G". Ryan nodded then looked at Nico, "That means we get to see Seth's experiment earlier". "Gah!" Nico flung his fist in the air.

Dexter nearly fell out of his chair as the power dispersed itself into the room. "No-oh f*ck!" Dexter bellowed as he grabbed a nearby desk to keep him from falling over. He ran to the window from behind Ryder and looked over his shoulder to see the giant pyramids of ice. "I think I went overboard.. a little." he jittered, the low temperature of the room becoming too unbearable to withstand. He looked at Ryder, debating if he should do what he was about to do. "F*ck it" he muttered as he wrapped both arms around Ryder's waist in a tight hug from behind. "Hey, c-can you cover my arms." He said feeling the heavy cold affecting his arms the most. "Oh and d-don't mind me, I don't DO cold. Can anyone open the door, or is that frozen too?

The teacher tried the door, but it was sealed shut. "D***," Ryder muttered. Though surprised, he let Dexter cling to him, figuring he needed the warmth. Ryder was completely fine with it due to his ability to make himself cold blooded. "Hey," he murmured, gently nudging Dexter off. Ryder slipped off his jacket and wrapped it around him, leaving himself in only a tank top, before wrapping his arms around Dex. "I could just break the wall, but unless you guys wanna jump two stories..."

Rob walked through the halls rubbing the right side of his chest. He was tender there, and it sucked. He visited the nurse and she did what she could, and then he visited the counselor and removed himself from football and was randomly assigned to Orchestra. He tried arguing his way out of that, but the conversation went as follows:

"I don't know how to even play a instrument!"

"Thats fine Rob, they'll teach you."

"But... I... Im going to be in a class with like... young kids."

"Yes, about average middle school age."

"What instrument?"

"The Bass."

"Oh like in a rock band?"

"Sure."

Rob went and introduced himself to the teacher, and all of the 11 and 12 year olds in his class looked at him with awe. He said he needed to go get some other things, and the teacher nodded and let him walk around the school. He was on a mission to find Miu because he really did not want to be in beginner Orchestra, and plus he had to tell her how he felt, because now it was distracting him and he didn't like that.

Miuna skipped through the now empty halls, talking to her spirit guide as she blatantly ignored the teachers insisting that she attend class. "Yuki, let's go to back to Japan. I was born there, you know. We could be models." She giggled as she remembered her conversation with Rob about modeling. "Do you think I'm cute?" The spirit chuckled and nodded, informing her that while she was cute, she was also rather terrifying. "No way!" Miu exclaimed. "I'm not that scary, am I? Is it because I talk to dead people? That's mean, Yuki."

Rob turned the corner and saw Miuna skipping down the halls talking her herself.

"No. Not to herself. I think"

"You, I have a bone to pick with you Miu." He walked up to her and looked down at her, "I like you, and its distracting because I can't get you out of my head. and its troubling because I forgot to turn to metal, and I want to know how you feel." he then blushed and looked away for a moment, then back at her, "Sorry for being so direct, I got hurt earlier and its put me on edge, and also I have to learn how to play the bass, and its not the bass guitar, its a string bass and I was lied to about that as well."

"I like you, too. A lot of people do. You're not too bad of a person." Miu gave him a cheeky grin, slipping the patch back over her eye as his confession went right over her head. Yuki left the area so as to leave them alone. "That sounds horrible. I tried to play the drums and ended up breaking them. I'm not allowed in the band room anymore."

Rob looked at her for a moment, "I dont think we're on the same page Miu. You like me as a friend, and thats it, right? Also how did you destroy a drum set? You're tiny." He scratched his head. "No, dont.. Well okay, Answer that, but you dont want to date me right?"

Miu frowned slightly, confused. "I don't know. I thought..." She shook her head. "I don't know. I've never dated anyone. I don't know what that feels like." She looked back up Rob, eyes wide and innocent. "You like me as a friend... right?"

Rob looked at her and shrugged a little, "Im.. not sure. I mean yeah, I like you as a friend, but I cant stop thinking about you. And Ive never dated anyone either. I literally would have no clue what to do if I called you my girlfriend.. except that we'd walk around together more, and probably eat more cookie cakes together. I mean, its not like this school has a whole lot to offer." He scratched his jaw, "And.. I mean, if I had to choose, between losing you over something like this, or just keeping you as a friend, I'd rather keep your friendship but... I dunno, Ive never felt this way about a girl. I mean, I still like Jordan, she's awesome, and friendly and nice... but if Im not with her, I generally dont get stuck on her. With you... I was day dreaming in the middle of football practice and a 300 pound rock slammed into me."

Miu's eyes widened as she listened to him talk about her. She hadn't heard this kind of confession before from anyone aside from Trent. "Oh." She don't know what to say for a moment. "Maybe... I'd like to try... dating... to see what it's like?" She said it as a question, seeing if he'd take her up on the offer.

"Alright.. so then.. we're dating?" Rob was confused, he hadn't actually expected it to make it this far. I guess in the back of his mind he was expecting her to beat him up some how. He wasn't sure why he was expecting that. "So... want to... go see a movie on friday? Is that what couples do? Sorry Im so bad at this." He scratched the back of his head.

"This is really bad.... We need to tell the principal about this! We can´t controll this ourselves"

Richard hoped Charlotte agreeded with him, he didnt want to ruin the friendship he had with her and the chances he had with her as well. He knew getting in a relationship with her was not very possible. After all, the only two relationships he had been in were a disaster. He didnt understand womans at all.

Miuna shook her head. "Let's go for dinner. There's a good seafood place near here." She didn't know how to act with a boyfriend, so she just did the first thing that came to mind. Stepping closer, she stood on her tiptoes and brushed her lips over Rob's, lingering for a second before pulling back. "I have to go, but I'm looking forward to our date."

Rob was shocked, he definitely had not expected a kiss. "Umm. yeah." he smiled, "I'll see you later Miu." He nodded, "I should probably go learn how to play the bass anyways." he nodded, and started to walk off.

"That went much better than expected."

"To be honest... Im not entirely sure what we just did, or how you pulled that off."

Jackie was leading a relatively boring life at the moment. She went to her classes, did her homework, stayed out of trouble. She ran into her friends a few times and exchanged a couple of words, but they all seemed to be busy and they had things on their mind. Jackie could tell she was slipping back into her loner tendencies, but she couldn't really bring herself to care.

She should be in class right now. She wasn't, though, because she was tired of the pattern. She was sitting outside, on the bench, much like the first day. She saw two figures slip into the woods, and saw one of them turn into a wolf- Alec. Jackie considered following them, but she decided against it. He was probably busy, and besides, he had Ryder with him. She tracked them with her eyes until she could no longer see them. Jackie figured if they didn't return by the next period she would go look for them.

Jordan's Telepathy class had been going pretty uneventful. It had been boring, until suddenly Martin and popped into the room to tell her that play practice was cancelled. She nodded towards him before he popped out to another room. Suddenly realization went through her and she rested her head on her hand, knowing now she had nothing to do after school. Maybe she could meet up with one of her new friends and hang out with them, or else look into what happened to her old friends. They hadn't been into much contact lately, and Jordan was curious as to why they weren't in school yet. Where could they have been? She decided she would try to call them up and find out after school.
