Charlotte walked towards her third class, she had math and she was not prepared at all. Math was her enemy and she always lost the battles, Charlotte had witnessed some students talking about non- gifted people planning a war, Charlotte laughed at the idea of non gifted trying to kill gifted people, after all, gifted people had powerful powers

As fifth period came and went, a spirit nudged her and reminded her of the time. "I know," Miuna told him. "I'm leaving now." The malevolent spirits were reluctant, but eventually released her from their icy grasps. "I'll be back tomorrow," she announced. "We can play guessing games, or maybe truth or dare." A cheeky smile tugged at her lips as she waved and exited the room, locking it behind her. As she drifted down the hall, she noticed a boy staring at her, blushing. Miu stopped and stared right back, tilting her head curiously. "Hello," she greeted.


The boy, obviously nervous, stumbled and almost tripped in his efforts to approach her. "Hey, Miuna," he said, breathless. "My name's Trent. You've probably never heard of me, but..." Trent blushed even more, averting his gaze. "I think you're really pretty and cute, so... would you go to the dance with me?"


Miuna blinked a couple of times, processing his words. "Hm... I didn't know there was a dance today. I've never been to one before. I have to tell my friends. Maybe they'll have snacks there." Without giving the dumbfounded Trent a reply, she turned around to leave and noticed her spirits laughing. "Don't laugh, Yuki. You're mean."

Aaron ran towards miuna laughing and smiling "oh my god! your going to a dance with a cute guy!" she yells stopping beside them smiling widely. "congratulations!" she clapped hugging her she was in a really good for some reason...*wink wink nudge nudge* (lol)

"I am?" Miu lightly hugged Aaron back, confused. "Should I have answered him?" She looked back at Trent, who seemed torn about whether or not to approach her again. The expression on his face tugged at her heart, so she gently pulled away from Aaron's hug and skipped towards the guy. "Okay," was all she said before returning to Aaron. "Was that good? Is he going to be okay?" Trent seemed better than okay, with his friends clapping him on the back and giving him high-fives.

"yes you are!" she laughed "and you should answer him, he looks happy" she smiled rolling her eyes "yeah that was better then nothing, at least you answered him" she spoke folding her arms acrossed her chest.

Miu nodded, neither excited nor glum. "That's good," she murmured, glancing at the clock. "Is it sixth period? I have my favorite class now." Wonder lit up her eyes as she thought about it, which didn't happen often when it came to her classes. "What do you have next?" she asked, remembering that Aaron was still standing there.

"yeah i think so" she muttered looking up at the clock then back down at Miu "umm imma go" she said pointing to the stairs. Shifting her body and climbing up and sitting on a step waiting for school to be over.

Jackie followed Alec to the cafeteria. As they stood in line for their food, she was quiet, thinking about the fighting, and her next classes. She turned to him. "What are your classes in the afternoon?" she asked as she reached over and grabbed a slice of pizza.

"Calculus, English, and then a private period with Professor Hara." Professor Hara was the shape shifting professor and as Alec was at a more advanced level than the other students, he was taught one-on-one. "What about you?" He asked as they looked for an empty table.

"Yuki, she didn't answer my question," Miu told her best spirit friend, who merely shrugged and motioned towards her next class. It wasn't one that many students took due to its dark nature. "You're not coming, Yuki?" The spirit shook her head and leaned against a wall, saying that she'd wait outside. "Oh. Okay, then." Miu waved and skipped into the classroom, perking up at the sight of the Umbrakinetic Aura teacher. This class allowed oneself to completely surround themselves in darkness and fear and force that on their opponent, filling them with terror and therefore incapacitating them.

Once calculus ended, Jordan started heading to lunch. She got in line behind sad looking younger teenagers and she felt sorrowful herself. "Hey, are you guys okay?" She asked. One of the girls spoke up since no one else would, "Eli's family disowned him. They told him not to come back home after the school year ended..." The girl gestured to one of the guys in the group, making Jordan assume that was Eli. Jordan frowned, "I'm really sorry to hear that..." She wasn't exactly sure what else to say, and she felt bad. This was beginning to happen way too much again. The ungifted were afraid. Some afraid of their own children. So they kept on dumping them at this school, and telling them to stay away. The teen that must of been Eli nodded and muttered, "It's okay... I had it coming." He smiled ruefully. Jordan looked down, feeling worse.

"Whoa. Hara? You must be really good." Jackie said. "I have Advanced Element Control for a double period and then I have a counseling period to 'learn how to control my feelings so they don't affect my power'." She marked the last part with air quotes. "There aren't many classes for a power like mine, which is only one element. I know a couple kids who can control the weather, or two or more elements, but I guess I'm not that special." She took a bite of her pizza as they sat down. "Ew. Cold." She made a face, and lit up her pointer finger with a small flame and started to warm it up.

Aaron stood up and walked into a random room and noticed Miu "hi" she spoke smiling plopping down next to her "i didn't want to go to my class" she adds folding her arms.

"Well, most kids seem to have a limit to what they can become and sometimes it's difficult to shift for them. I can do it instantly and into any animal form I wish. I can even control what color I am, if I focus. Can't change my eye color though." Alec watched with interest as she started to heat up her pizza. "That's a handy trick. When did you discover your power?" He bit into his apple.

Miu looked up at Aaron, eyes wide. "Do you know what this class is?" she asked, concerned for the girl. If you weren't prepared, this course could seriously harm you. "This is a high-level class. It might be too much for you." Aaron was a year younger, and this class was only offered to Juniors and Seniors.

Aaron shrugged "well i was looking around the school, i was bored, went into a random classroom, and well then im here" she said puffing out her cheeks pulling a drawing notebook and started to sketch.

"Thanks. I knew I had this power ever since I could remember, actually. Apparently I set my crib on fire a couple times when I was a baby. But I didn't actually start training to control it until I came here." The cheese on her pizza was bubbling now, and she took another bite. "I can do a bunch of things with my fire. And I don't really feel the cold." Jackie watched Alec eat his apple. "What about you?" She asked.

Miuna shrugged and listened to the instructor with care, absorbing every piece of information. "Alright, time to try out what I just explained," he announced, pairing up the four kids in the class. Miu ended up with Aaron, much to her displeasure. "I like you. I don't want to hurt you," she whispered, holding Aaron's hand in both of her own.

"My dad came into my room when I was a toddler and found a wolf pup instead of me. It was an entire day before I managed to change back again. Didn't really know what was going on." Alec chuckled. "It was lucky it didn't happen earlier, or else I wouldn't have had enough control to shift back." He glanced around the room. Thankfully, no one seemed to be arguing yet. If anything did happen... Well, the room was full of upperclassmen to step in. Most of them knew what the fighting would bring and would do anything to avoid that.

Aaron's eyes widen "go ahead" she said with huge eyes scanning her face. "I can show you my power later" she said looking into her eyes. "what are you exactly supposed to do?" she wonders.

Jackie laughed. "That's cute. So is the wolf just your favored shape?" She asked, trying to be casual while she also scanned the room. High tensions made her edgy, which just made her powers more liable to go out of control. It was a bad spiral, but one she couldn't really do anything about.

"Since you've never taken this class before, I'll just show you." Now that Aaron had given her permission, Miu had no problem with beating the girl up. She closed her eyes and concentrated, though it didn't take long for the darkness to build up inside of her. Dark wisps of energy whipped around her, lightly ruffling her hair and enveloping her form. As soon as she felt the energy reach climax, her eyes shot open and she shot mass of terror and fear in Aaron's direction, hitting her right in the chest. It wouldn't do anything other than blow her back a couple of yards and fill her with panic and anxiety. A grin spread across Miu's face as she wielded the power with ease.

"It's one of my favorites. Right now, Hara is trying to find out if I could shift into a mythical animal." Alec seemed perfectly at ease, though he was still watching the younger kids. Even the upperclassmen could be inclined to fight if it went the same way as before. Fear caused anger and resentment to increase. Few were lucky enough to have parents who were gifted, like Alec. It made things easier. Your family would accept you then, because they were no different. Even kids with accepting families felt resentment. They were sent away, hidden away.

Jordan finished up in the line after grabbing a small lunch and she said one last thing to Eli, "I hope that someday you get to patch things up with your family." Eli smiled sadly looking at her, "Not likely, but thanks." With that the group went too go sit down at a table, and Jordan scanned the lunch room, unsure of where she should sit. She wasn't sure where her friends were from previous years, for she had not once seen them yet. She had a slight worry, wondering why they weren't here.

Aaron's eyes widen as she held her chest she stood up walking over to her "now i'll show you mine" she smirked making her feel like her insides were being ripped out and the world around miu turned into a place were people were burning in fire. She slowly stop then scanned Miu's face "i love your power Miu" she said smiling. "mine also comes with good things as well" she adds making Miu's world turn into a snowy wonderland with pretty snowflakes falling from the sky. "magic illusion" she said.
