Despite the fact that he was recovering Chase could tell that he was in a better mood after speaking to his father, that and unloading the info to those who could use it in Vitae. "For eight months it's not bad." He said with a slight lack of confidence, being that he didn't have anything or anyone to compare it to. Eyeing the man in the chair he nodded his head towards the door, "Should we be out there helping with anything?"

William followed Mac's directions to the mall and bar, bringing the Mainline to a stop in the parking lot. The vintage sedan got more than a few appreciative glances from other visitors.

"Can you bring your ID too? You're not wanted, right? Clean record?"

Will had been reaching for the door handle when he froze at the questions, turning to give her a dubious look. "No, no manhunts for me going on right now that I know of," he remarked, somewhat dryly. He followed up with a smirk as he added, "You know, if anyone but you was asking me that question I might have second thoughts."

His wallet rested in his pocket, having grabbed it from his truck earlier. Inside was his driver's license along with his Veteran's ID. He knew Mackenzie had a... checkered past where the law was concerned and was on the verge of asking about her identification, but decided against it. He had no doubt she had contingencies in place, least of all including a fake ID.

Emile smiled at the compliment but he was aware of the truth: he had a very long way to go until he could be considered anywhere near fluent. "I hope you help me learn more?" Chase seemed to be the only wolf he had encountered that was willing to at least question Emile, even if he found it annoying at times, it was still a welcomed necessity; having a pack full of yes-men would get him no where but dead or pack-less in the long run. It was the reason why Malcolm was his Beta, another man that questioned Emile when he thought he was wrong. "Et Out, I was dunk ... dunking? Morgan. Girl needs a cold shower being near Brody too long." He laughed then, uncertain if Chase had seen enough of the two but Morgan had a mild obsession with the Pack Guardian and Emile still wasn't certain whether or not he approved of it.

"How is ton pére? Besides angry you are here?" It was a honest question, Emile had simply assumed he had seen his father because that was who he was coming back to the Den to call, and Chase had his scent on him.

Mackenzie smirked at Will as they exited the vehicle; she assumed as much given his military history that the man would not have had many negative encounters with the law and she certainly because the believe he should never hear the laundry list she was wanted for back North. She came around the car and immediately slipped her hand within his and headed into the strip mall. Mac lead them past several shops to Bank North which always amused her seeing it given the banks corporate center and home was Toronto.

Inside at the desk she provided her ID to the teller requesting to speak to an associate to make alteration to her funds. The teller was quick to respond and directed them to an office where a manager waited.

The man within the office stood as they entered. "Beienvenue Madame Syvrette, veuillez vous asseoir?"

Mac winced at the mans broken and harsh pronunciation of her mother tongue. "English is fine," She said taking a seat leaving the other Will to sit beside her. The man seemed like he appreciated the shift in language but before he was able to speak Mac continued, dropping her bank card and ID on the desk before him. "I need to make some changes my accounts. Firstly I need to set up Bonds under the name Ashley-May Branston to be paid out after twenty years. Transfer the funds from the TFSA to an RESP and make that same name the controller until she provides a name and update the beneficiaries to my account to Ashley-May Branston and William Hendrix, split evenly."

The man looked a little fazed as Mac went on, but when she had stopped and watched him expectantly he turned to the computer and started working. After a few seconds he glanced to the two of them, "I'd like to give you both our sincerest congratulations, do you know when you're due?" He never stopped working as he spoke, hoping to add idle chat to fill the dead air.

William had been initially confused when Mackenzie led him to the bank, but he wasn't remotely hesitant to follow her as she took him by the hand. It didn't take long before he understood the intent behind this visit: she was securing a future for Ashley-May, and that of her child. He barely hid his surprise when Mackenzie named him as a beneficiary, though he should have expected it given their conversation at the gas station. There wasn't much that could prepare you for someone unceremoniously giving you access to their life savings. Will found himself idly wondering where the funds came from, though he suspected Franklin's mention of her company ownership might have been a possible source.

As the teller offered his congratulations and politely asked when "they" were due, something clicked in William's head. He turned toward Mac, flashing her a brief but undeniably mischievous smile. He reached over to take Mac's hand in his own, squeezing it as he looked at the banker.

"Yes sir, we're due in October," he said with a bright smile, heavily exaggerating his Southern drawl.

"We just found out yesterday, but we were so excited we couldn't wait to start planning for the future." He turned to look at Mac, "Ain't that right, sweetheart?"

Chase shook his head in amused defeat when Emile asked to keep helping him learn the language. "We'll see if you still feel that way after my charming personality and good looks wear on you." He smirked through the sarcasm, giving a low chuckle when Emile mentioned his nieces infatuation with Brody, it came as a surprise. "An ass like him really?" Chase continued the sarcasm, he'd yet to actually meet the man rather than the wolf and Brody's intentions and feelings had been revealed to Chase already so he understood to an extent.

The conversation took a turn towards his father and Chase took a deep breath, "He's good." Chase replied with a flash of a small smile, "Joe's not really sure how to feel about all of this, me here and him there then what's to come." Chase adjusted slightly on the couch eyes wandering the floorboards momentarily, "Hell, I'm not even sure how to feel about it. We've ended up on separate sides of this whole thing."

As Chase's eyes returned to Emile he sat back. It was difficult to understand the Alpha. Everything that had been said about him and this pack, about what they'd done and were planning to do. It just didn't match up to the man sitting across from him, even if they were being backed into a corner by this First Sin. Either Emile was playing him like a damned fiddle or there was even more to the man and this situation that he wasn't catching onto. Maybe William and Mackenzie could uncover something else.

Mackenzie tilted her head aside as the rather presumptuous teller inquired about when they were due. Lips parted to tell off the man for prying into other peoples business whens he felt Will's hand squeeze her own. Dark eyes turned to regard him, wonder just how the man seemed to know when she would be set off by something when she saw the mischievous glint in his eyes. She listened, horrified, as Will played into the teller's inquiry.

The man chuckled, "Well I can't blame you," He said reaching across the desk and turning a picture of him and whom Mac would assume was his wife and a child between them. "The day I found out I was going to be a father." He slowly shook his head. "Rocked my world, there isn't a better feeling is there?" He asked as he returned to the computer before him, now printing out forms to be signed.

Mac turned back to the teller with a grin and laugh to go with it. "Well it's doubling exciting seeing as we tried and tried for years when it turned out he was shooting blanks the whole time." She laughed again, patting Will's leg. "But at the very least his brother was kind enough to donate to the cause and, well, here we are."

The tellers coughed then, looking away from the pair to collect something from this printer and in the free time Mac gave Will's upper thigh a sever pinch. As the teller turned back to lay the documents he had on the desk between them, the man could no longer meet them in the eye. "Please sign each of these." He set the pen and waited.

Emile could understand Chase's and his father, Joe's, hesitation with what was going to come in the next few days, he had already made the offer: Chase's father was welcome to join the pack -as a human, to avoid being within Vitae the night it occurred, but Chase had been adamant that his father would have remained a firm no. He attempted to give Chase a reassuring smile. "You will not be separate for long." He leaned forward to reach out and give Chase's knee a pat. "Mais la nuit." He paused and shook his head. "The night we take Vitae, you will stay here." He said firmly. "With other that do not fight." He gave a slight shrug, hoping he could get his point across. "You will not fight family or friend, oui? You stay, we call when done." He wouldn't risk Chase being hurt by or injuring a friend or, heaven forbid, his own family during the mayhem. He was going to do his best to keep everyone, Vitae and Pack included, safe from harm; he had no intention of killing anyone, but Vitae had crossed a line and needed to be reigned in.

William had nearly sputtered at Mackenzie's comment, his mouth forming an "o" of surprise at the remark as his face flushed. She had accepted his challenge and fired back. For a brief moment he considered letting the comment go, allowing Mac the victory and walking away with whatever dignity he had left. But, at the hard pinch that Mac gave him, he instead gave her a determined smirk. After all, chances were he'd never see this bank manager again... though he'd by lying if he said he didn't feel slightly bad for the suddenly awkward position the man had been placed in.

Collateral damage happens in love and war. Let the games begin.

As Will leaned forward in his seat to take up the pen and looking over the documents to sign where prompted, he drawled under his breath, "I didn't hear you complainin' none when I was firin' off those blanks, missy." Will looked up at the manager before tilting his head toward Mac. "This one keeps me on my toes, if you know what I mean. Puts a lot of demands on my time. Imagine be a little less of that for the next few months," he said with faux disappointment before sliding the form over to Mac, turning away from the banker to hand her the pen. "All yours, babydoll," he remarked with a wink.

fff_zps4rxngdyd.png

Chase appreciated the Alpha's reassurance, listening as the man spoke on the night of the full moon. When Emile mentioned Chase staying here that night he had to bite his own tongue to let the man finish. His posture changed, back straightening out more. Chase couldn't just remain here that night, not if he was going to help prevent Vitae from falling. "No way, you aren't benching me like that. I'm going, and I'll make sure Joe stands down. You said he wouldn't come to harm as long as he doesn't harm the pack. I can't guarantee he won't, unless I'm the first to get to him."

Emile slowly shook his head, he knew full well that Chase would not want to comply, would fight him on this; any other pack member would have done as he had said begrudgingly, but not Chase. He regarded the younger man carefully, what humor and lightness in his face fading to a rather serious expression. "You believe Vitae will not hurt you, if you go with us?" He needed to express his concerns, make it clear this wasn't for his benefit, but for Chase and Joe's. "You think Vitae will let Joe be safe when they know you are here?" He shook his head. "I will find him, myself. I keep him safe. Je promets, promise."

Mackenzie waited to see if Will would fold or press onward in his game; she certainly was enjoying herself and had never expected the man to start the game himself. After the night before she had thought he knew she could be pushed into playing, and was aware she honestly had no barriers preventing her from being as lewd or flippant as she wanted. It was a feat to embarrass her, and that was certainly something she prided herself on.

Mac's polite smile didn't even flinch when Will proclaimed her demanding in the bedroom, she watched the banker return Will a grin, though was quick to stifle it when he was aware Mac was still watching him. She took up the offered pen and signed her false name along the line required. "I would have been far less demanding if I had been satisfied the first time." She said, setting the pen a top the paper before sliding the form across the desk at the teller, "But I guess third times the charm, right?"

Once more the teller was looking away, uncertain how to move forward in the awkward conversation. He took up signed documents and cleared his throat, "I... I'll just take these to our notary and I'll be right back so we can finished up." His eyes never left the desktop as he spoke and before either of them could speak a word he was striding for the door and closing it behind him.

William wasn't surprised when Mackenzie hardly missed a beat in her scathing reply, once again feeling the flush return to his cheeks. He was beginning to suspect he might have picked the wrong fight with this one. He was relieved when the banker stood up and left the room like a man fleeing a crime scene, the awkward sight replacing Will's embarrassment with humor.

Will turned toward Mac with a grin, followed by a barely-stifled laugh. "You wound me, Miss Canonach," he said, having dropped the exaggerated drawl before leaning over to place a lengthy kiss on her lips. When he finally broke the contact, he gestured toward the manager's empty desk speaking just above a whisper, "Poor guy's probably going to be telling this story for years, you know that, right?"

Mackenzie's polite smile turned into a victorious grin after the teller left the two of them alone. She gave Will a false pout as he mentioned that she had wounded him but she knew it would have only been his pride. She closed her eyes as he kissed her, humming contently against his lips and couldn't think of a better prize.

Their lips parted and Mac regarded Will as he commented on the poor teller. "I should think so," She said quietly smile ever present. "We do put on a good show, at least Ash thinks so." She gave him a playful wink.

Soon enough the teller returned, documents in hand. "Ah, Miss Syvrette, the paperwork has been finalized. Bonds will pay out after twenty years, TFSA set up and the RESP is pending; your funds have been transferred, they will be matched in three to five business days." He slipped the forms into an envelope and set it on the table before the two of them. "Is there anything else I can do for you today?"

Mackenzie shook her head. "No thank you, that's all." She stood taking the envelope and tucking it under her arm. She turned to look at Will. "Ready?"

Safton Safton

"We do put on a good show, at least Ash thinks so."

Will raised his eyebrows at the comment, but grinned nonetheless. He wouldn't be forgetting Ashley-May's interruption anytime soon, doubly so now that it had been repeated at the start of their meeting with Chase... though what had been happening before each of interruption made it more than worth it as far as he was concerned.

As the teller entered the room again and explained that everything had been squared away, Will watched Mac stand up to take the envelope, one final attempt at winning their little game suddenly forming in his mind. He nodded when she asked if he was ready, standing up and placing his hand on the small of her back as he stood up alongside her. He turned toward the bank manager, once again donning the Southern drawl. "Thanks for the help, sir. You have a good 'un." His hand slid down further still before coming to rest. "I know I will," he said with a wink to the man, who stared at him wide-eyed.

"C'mon, sweetheart," Will said, keeping his hand in place as he led the way out of the office and into the hall. Casting a wary glance over his shoulder to make sure they were out of earshot he chuckled as he moved his hand back up to a less... provocative position. "So, lunch?" he asked with a grin, the accent gone for good this time.

Chase watched Emile's expression change, and could tell the other man wasn't backing down. The words he spoke followed through with that thought process. Chase rubbed at the back of his head in frustration, Emile's words causing him to realize he may not have thought this through. He hated that Emile was right, unless Chase stayed shifted the entire time he would put both himself and Joe at risk. Even if Vitae saw him fighting on their side he wasn't ignorant enough to think they'd just accept it.

Je promets, promise.

Chase didn't like it, and he'd have to find some other way to get involved but he sat back on the couch with displeasure written all over his face. After an exasperated sigh he threw his hands up briefly, "Fine. But surely there's something I can do besides just sitting here on my hands. Stick me on the outer parameter of Vitae away from the colony, or scouting the area nearby or...something. And he's not just going to stand down because you ask him to." Not that he really expected Emile to assume that.

"Ah, Himiko~" Jordan called out from a small cafe where the two had agreed to meet, well more like Jordan suggested and she followed without question. She saw him waiting at a table outside with a cup in his hand and another clearly waiting for her. " Please, sit, they actually have authentic Japanese Tea, here of all places!" Jordan took a sip and savored the flavor for a moment. "A bit nostalgic~"

"How can you be so calm," she asked as she sat, it wasn't an order but she wasn't going to disobey...or miss out on the tea. Her eyes darted to those around her before switching to Japanese " From what you've told me the colonists are oblivious and the Vitae content to keep it that way, I didn't fair any better, the pack is more concerned about their pissing contest than the end of the world."

"I know," Jordan's face darkened a bit and the mood around him shifted, following her lead and changing languages "Worst case scenario they completely take each other off the board and we're forced to go to plan B"

"I do not like the idea of Plan B my lo-" Himiko hesitated when Jordan gave her a sly look "Jordan, the British Men of Letters are more likely to turn on us the closer we get to stopping the apocalypse. At least with hunters they work in a grey area. Why won't you approach them in your true form?"

"I think the sight of a fox the size of a Durango with nine large tails would have quite the hostile effect on our efforts~"

" You know what I mean, perhaps they'd be more receptive. As it is you've lowered yourself to being put on hold and worse."

Jordan took a long sip of tea before smiling warmly, "Patience and Respect are far more effective when dealing with those who are young and have a taste of power. Let them hold their power and make their decisions, my pride is not a thing so easily damaged~"

Himiko nodded dutifully and took a sip of the tea that was before her, Jordan had been right, a sentiment she often found herself feeling, the tea was quite authentic and nostalgic. She looked at him and spoke in English once more, " What if they don't agree to our proposal?'

"Unfortunate," Jordan started while a mischievous smile took root on his face, his mood clearly back to a carefree state, "But not unexpected"

Emile inhaled slowly, some how he knew his promise wouldn't be enough to keep Chase involved entirely but at least the man was willing to compromise with him. As much as he would like to keep Chase here, with other members of his pack that were not to be involved directly; Malcolm and Brody to name a few, he knew he too would have to compromise. "Deal." He said then, his grin returning. "You gardé dehors Vitae. You do not come inside until you are called, oui?" If Emile thought for a second Chase was going to disobey him, he would do what was necessary to keep both him and Vitae's paths from crossing. He paused then considering. "Will you come avec meute aprés Vitae? When we go home? North?" He wondered if he would be wiling to leave if his father continued to refuse to join them.

Mackenzie should have known the man would make another attempt, though she was far from embarrassed, William gave his thanks and she continued on with her polite smile as though nothing were amiss despite the warmth on his hand on her bottom. She wandered with him, allowing her to lead her back out of the bank into the public of the mall before his hand retreated, dark eyes rose to meet grey ones with interest. "Are you sure that's what's on your mind?" She smirked, rising up to kiss his lips gently before smacking him in the chest with the manila envelope of banking document.

"It's this way," She nodded and started leading him towards the dive bar she and Ash and frequented during their time camped out in front of Vitae waiting for entry. She slipped an arm around his waist as they walked, keeping herself close to his side content. There had been a part of her that worried he would be upset for the visit to the bank; her getting her affairs in order, but after he had initiated the game she knew he wouldn't have been brooding long. As they traveled she glanced at the windows of other shops along the way, some confectionery others clothing or shoes but as they came to one she paused looking through the window. It was a children's store. She glanced briefly at Will before handing him the envelop. "Hold this, I'll be right back." Before she slipped into the store.

Upon reaching the weapons shop Solomon asked what the shop owner would recommend for someone who hadn't had any experience with firearms. While earning a smirk from the man the man nonetheless put a pistol on the counter. A Browning 1911 40 caliber. Apparently it had decent stopping power no matter if it was a person or a werewolf. The owner was then about the recommend hollow point ammo, but that was when Solomon stopped him. While usually hollow point would be the best option Solomon needed something to carve on and as such requested full metal jacket ammo. Solomon wasn't completely ignorant when it came to weapons but he was more of an archery man than a firearm man. Things being what they were he didn't have the time to be picky.

Sandy let Solomon and Ginny wander into the gun and ammo shop on their own, once they were inside she retreated back out into the daylight. She didn't like to be around he weapons any more than she needed to be, given how many were at home at any given time. She took a seat on the front steps of the building, content to enjoy the sunlight and the quiet until Solomon was done with what he needed.

Ginny watches curiously, trying to learn all that she can. She's aware that these won't kill a djinn, but she still should get familiar with them in case someone shoots her while she's here. She gets a gun for herself as well, thanking the man, then asks if they have a firing range for practice.

Once Solomon got the gun and ammo, depleting what little money he had left on him, he set forth immediately to carving vigils into the bullets. He was planning on a different sigil on each bullet. That way he could easily house his captive gods in the bullets he shoots them with. Hopefully the next one wouldn't cripple him the same way Pan did. When Ginny asked about a range he perked up. " A range would be a great idea. Nothing like practice to help us improve." Solomon said as he set aside bullets he wouldn't be enchanting.

"Are you sure that's what's on your mind?"

William smiled, returning the kiss. "No comment," he murmured as she gave him a playful (but well-deserved) slap on the chest with the folder. As he felt her arm wrapping around his waist, he enveloped her shoulders with his own, allowing her to lead the way toward the bar. Despite the temptation to bask in the glow of his small victory, he instead found his thoughts wandering in other directions. He had initiated their little game in the manager's office in the spur of the moment, hoping to distract both of them from the graveness of Mac's task. It had helped some, but he still felt a pit in his stomach at the thought of ever having to use any of those funds in Mac's stead. He understood the necessity of what she had done from an objective standpoint, but that didn't mean he was comfortable with it in the least. He'd do everything he could to prevent this particular contingency from ever coming to pass.

When Mac handed him the envelope and instructed him to wait, he nodded but was surprised to see her walk into a children's store of all things. He wasn't sure what she was planning, other than an early gift for Ashley-May's child. His eyes wandered to the confectionery store beside it. He knew they'd be eating lunch soon, but he couldn't resist and wanted to keep himself busy if nothing else. Walking over, he purchased a bear claw pastry, tearing it in half before returning to wait for Mac outside the children's store.

Thor removed his hand from the wall and turned around as Christopher and the others approached him "I just took down the warding that Persephone had placed on this building, she's inside, I can sense her. Eitherway, let me do the talking" he explained. And he was quite sure that Persephone could sense him as well, and he'd prefer that she wasn't given enough time to contemplate fleeing Before he had a chance to talk to her. Thor pushed open the door to the shop, it wasn't anything particular, the walls were white and the floor was supposed to resemble white marble, shelves with various sorts of flowers and plants stood in straight lines, larger plants were lined up along the walls. It wasn't exactly a rush hour, and he only saw one customer, a man he figured would be sixty relatively soon, as well as Persephone.

The godess had assumed a relatively normal, albeit beautiful form. She was a woman in her late twenties, with long auburn hair and chestnut eyes, looking quite startled, she asked "Zeus...?". Thor smiled, though this was a kind smile, unlike the threatening ones he liked to use. "Almost, I'm Thor, but you should know that we mean you no harm." he then looked around to the humans to show that they could introduce themselves.

Guarding the doors to Vitae? It was something, at least Emile wasn't going to try and pull rank and force him to stay here. Chase nodded and relaxed a little when that was settled and Emile was once again grinning and moving on. It was a question he'd already answered, kind of, but maybe Emile was hoping it might have changed. "You're asking if I'm going back North with you after Vitae?" He reiterated slightly to be sure of the translation, Chase would pause as if to give it some thought. "Guess that depends what happens with Vitae and what my father decides he's going to do afterwards. If he decides to hunt the pack down to get me out, and I wouldn't put it past him, then I'll have to stay with him to make sure he doesn't put himself and the pack at risk."

Emile nodded as Chase confirmed what he was trying to get across, at least the other man understood enough of his broken language to answer his question. It was a fair enough answer, nothing more than a wait and see sort of situation for him. He knew after Vitae Chase's would have a far clearer picture of what was to come; all of Vitae would when he was done with it, and that included Chase's father. If the man was level headed at all, he would know the safest route for both of them was to join the pack and survive what was coming.

Already the aroma's from the cooking feast were wafting into the house and Emile couldn't hold off an longer. "Come." He said rising from the chair and heading for the front door. "We see if we steal some food, yes? Meant for feast, for celebration ce soir mais, I'm hungry." He gave Chase a wolfish grin as he nodded towards the door way. "You come?"

Mackenzie returned from the children's store with a small pink bag in hand, she had decided Ashley-May was having a girl, because, well she was an Oracle after all. She knew these things now, or at least she assumed so. She paused then frowned seeing Will standing where she had left him with a doughnut in hand. She arched an eyebrow and stepped closer, stealing the other half of the pastry from this hand before turning and striding towards the restaurant, leaving him behind if he didn't follow.

Doublewide-Bar-Dallas-Texas-DIVE0316.jpg

The dive bar was exactly what one would imagine: walls covered in random pictures and items, no windows to be spoken of as they had to descent a staircase to get within. At the hostess stand was a sign that had clearly not moved in ages that read Seat yourself. Mac passed it without a second glance moving towards the bar; there were few patrons within, two men sitting at the bar itself speaking to the tender and a third young man seated at one of the few booths.

The bartender turned a lethargic glance in her direction but after a double take he laugh. "Holy shit, Mac! Haven't seen you in days. How you been?" He was immediately looking past her, and Will searching, "Blondie Bear coming in with you?"

Mac smirked, having forgotten the name the men at the bar had given Ash, "No, she's at the colony, playing doctor." She nodded back towards Will behind her. "I brought this one instead." The bartender and the two men regarded Will slowly before he spoke again.

"You switching teams, on us Mac?" He asked and the other men laughed, the bar tender was already pulling out two beers and setting them on the bar top.

Mac stepped forward to collect them. "Been a switch hitter all my life, get used to it." The men seated only laughed louder as the bartender looked a little embarrassed, she nodded towards the booths. "Going to take this somewhere private, but I'll have my usual." She turned to Will and pointed towards the chalk board behind the bar that listed five items that could be counted as food. "Anything you want, it's on me." She said with a playful wink.

William silently watched the exchange between Mac and the bartender & patrons with bemusement, mildly surprised at the obvious familiarity between them. There was little mystery as to who "Blondie Bear" was. The discussion about Mac's proclivity for "switch hitting" brought a slight flush to Will's face, though he was steadily becoming steadily inured to embarrassment where Mackenzie was concerned.

At Mac's offer, Will nodded his thanks before turning to the bartender and ordering a bacon cheeseburger and fries. He then followed Mac to the private booth, sitting down across from her. "Nice place," he said, glancing around the bar appraisingly. "Me and Elijah hit up these kinds of joints sometimes. It's where he practices his 'game'," he said with a roll of his eyes.

Will glanced at the pink bag Mackenzie had left the store with. "Doing some early shopping?"

Mackenzie regarded Will carefully after he commented on the place, for a second she thought it may have been sarcasm but he continued on to explain Elijah's 'game.' She set a beer in front of him at the table but shifted to lean back in the booth, legs stretching across the distance beneath table until she rested her feet, one ankle crossed over the other, on his knee. She brought the beer bottle to her lips and took a slowly drink before setting it back on the table. "Is that were you learned that last move?" She asked with a smirk.

Dark eyes turned to the pink bag she had set down, a slight flush coming across her cheeks, a little bit of embarrassment showing for the first time. "She needs to know." She said quietly, "That it'll be okay." She reached for the bag and extracted a small box containing the tinest pair of pink, white and black air jordans for Will to see. "And these are insanely cute." She couldn't help herself, she had seen them in the window and felt her heart melt.
