Ashley-May paused feeling an overwhelming sensation of her mind being over crowded. She closed her eyes with a frown, reaching out she rested her hand on the wall as Thor's message passed. She wondered momentarily if he was aware of the voice - and whether or not the voice was the being it proclaimed to be and if it were truly within her head or not. She remembered she wasn't alone, and that Will had been speaking to her. She looked up at him and smiled, "Sorry, what?" She glanced to Mac's door before recalling what he'd said. "Oh, that's fine. I was keeping her here more for your sake than hers. What news?" She tilted her head slight but soon her eyes widened as he mind worked around what he could possibly have to announce, about the pair of them, and appear to be embarrassed. "Oh my God. Are you two pregnant?!"

Morgan mumbled a reply, she was mostly aware of her surroundings. They had left the apartment and were in the car, searching for somewhere safe to rest and heal. She was acutely aware of Adelaide holding her. Her body burned, a clear sign she was slowly healing but it took all of her energy. She was quite aware that she kept drifting off to sleep.

Brody jogged back down the sidewalk towards the car; dealing with the front desk had been trying. He had done his best to try and remain calm but it was next to impossible. He'd finally managed to toss several American bills at the attendant to get a key without further questions. Back at the car he pulled the backdoor open, nearly tearing it from the frame. "Shit, sorry." He glanced around quickly before leaning in and holding out the room key to Adelaide. "Take this, I'll carry her in."

Will Formal.jpg
William was on the verge of asking Ashley-May what was wrong as she leaned against the nearby wall, eyes shut as she remained silent. However, just as he opened his mouth to speak, she seemed to recover from whatever "trance" she was in and respond to him. He didn't have a chance to answer her query about the news when she jumped to her own conclusion -- her exuberant energy and high-pitched shout nearly causing him to flinch.

Will waved his hands, hoping to stop the blonde before she got ahead of herself. "No, no. Don't get any ideas," he chuckled anxiously. "It's, uh..." He inhaled deeply before deciding to take the plunge. "Mac and I are getting married sooner than anticipated... tomorrow, in fact."

rsz_adelaide_6.jpg
Adelaide didn't even respond to Brody's apology about the car. It was the last thing on her mind at this point. She also knew better than to argue with him -- of the two of them, he was far more capable of carrying Morgan inside. She nodded, gently disentangling herself from her friend and squirming out of the Civic's cramped backseat to climb out, taking the room key from Brody. With one final glance at the two of them, she forced herself to turn around and seek out their room. Once there, she made her way inside and propped the door open before running the bath and gathering up towels and the like for Morgan. Once the two were settled inside, she'd run back out to the car to grab her materials for a poultice.

Elijah 8.jpg
After dropping off their prisoners with the Men of Letters, Elijah stopped by the house briefly to wash up and change his clothes. He had just finished when he heard a knock at the door. He turned to face it with a surprised quirk of his brow -- mere moments ago he'd had the house to himself. He walked towards it, cracking the door cautiously only to see Thor on the other side. Visibly relaxing and taking his hand away from the karambit concealed at his waistline, he gave the deity a smile and opened the door fully. "Thor. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

1565482462583.png

Thor smiled as Elijah opened the door and greeted him "Good evening Elijah, I hope I am not intruding." Thor paused for a second and scratched his beard, he figured that there was no point in delaying before actually saying what he came to say. The Deity continued "I've received information of the whereabouts of one, possibly two Dragons. Not Hypolyes himself, lesser Dragons but his kin nontheless. I intend to pursue them, and it was my intention to bring you and Will along with me. You two need to know what you are up against, you especially given the sword you possess. And I thought this would be a relatively safe way to do so now that I am coming with you. I will not hold it against you if you'd rather not, but do you want to join me and slay a Dragon, Elijah?"

Safton Safton

Ashley-May paused having heard what Will had said but not fully understanding it. "Wait, what?" She frowned, what energy and sudden burst of excitement she had felt quickly depleted from her soul. "I've been planning for weeks though," She waved her hand in the direction of the house where the binder full of her plans and quotes and orders were. She shook her head. "Why tomorrow? Why can't you wait until after Liam is born?"

Morgan sighed heavily as Brody settled her onto the bed; she could feel the tense energy between the pair of them and it certainly wasn't helping. "I'm fine," She grumbled at the wolf only to hear him scoff at her in return. "I'm already healing." It was a truth - she was mending but the process was slower than any previous injury she'd had before.

"If you're lucky you'll be walking tomorrow." Brody grumbled, glancing to Addy as she returned to the room with the heavily scented bags from her car. He turned his attention back to Morgan, she was pale but at least conscious at the moment. "You remember how long it took for me to recover when Skye ran me over? That's how long it's going to be." He ignored Morgans faint growl response, moving across the room to the door. He glanced outside briefly before shutting the door again. "I'll get you two set up here and then I'll head out - see if anything's come up about us or the car. If not we might be able to just drive out of here in the morning. I'll grab us some food too." He nodded to Morgan. "You're going to need to feast after all this."

Elijah's eyebrows shot up at the news Thor brought. He wasn't sure he'd expected to hear from Thor, but news of dragons certainly didn't make the list. He knew full well how dangerous the creatures were. And yet... he felt an itch deep inside him, the same he'd felt just hours before finally being able to make himself useful again on the raid. It didn't surprise him in the least when he found himself speaking without thought: "I'd be glad to tag along." He paused, allowing himself a small smile as he glanced at the sword Thor had gifted him. "My family line is said to be descended from St. George himself, you know. The original dragonslayer."

William gave Ashley-May a sympathetic smile, the way the blonde deflated made him instantly feel guilty in a way few others could manage. He rested a hand on her shoulder. "We would if we could, Ash. It... it's because of a prophecy. A vision that Mac had. Neither of us understand it fully. But according to her, it's important -- maybe even life and death -- that we get married tomorrow. I don't know how or why," he said with a noncommittal shrug. "I appreciate everything you had planned for the wedding. And while she'd never say it, I know Mac does, too," he smiled at the woman, giving her shoulder a squeeze. "I'd still like you to officiate. That is... if you're still on board."

Adelaide half-listened, nodding distractedly as Brody spoke. She was already hard at work, having set out her materials on the room's sparse wooden table. She consulted her grimoire to see what modifications might be necessary for a restoration poultice suitable for a werewolf rather than a human. After devising a recipe she found promising, she went to work mixing liquids and grinding herbs.

“Absolutely.” Lex answered Ginny, cutting Chester off. “As allies, it would be wise to keep our current hosts apprised of our plans.”

He smiled at Chaos, who was looking unhappy.

“And as I will need to be resting up, I’m sure you can handle detailing the plain to the humans.”

Chester worked his jaw, then nodded. He was really losing his touch. Maybe convincing Strife wouldn’t be as easy he had hoped, considering how these two took it.

“I’ll go talk to Brendan about our recruitment drive.” He said, looking resigned. “You just rest up while I sort this out.”

With a distracted air, Chester left the room, leaving the other Horseman and djinn behind. Lex watched after his older sibling, trying to piece together his angle.

“What’s he been doing here before coming after me? He asked Ginny.

Ginny sighs, relieved that she won’t be getting in trouble with the others, and smiles a bit at Lex. At his question, she tilts her head. “I mean, his first order of business, as far as I’m aware, was getting you free. Said he’d help us against the first sin. Other than that… he hung out with Tara and I while I tried to help with her bloodlust. She’s the vampire he mentioned earlier. Seems pretty cool.”

She shrugs. “Also, I apologize if I did this already, but hi, I’m Shafaqat. Everyone just calls me Ginny.” She says with a bit of an awkward grin.

Ashley-May offered Will a weak smile and a slight nod. "I understand." She said simply. While she did understand the severity of Mackenzie's visions she was beyond disappointed to hear what planning she had done was lost. "I can still officiate for you, sure." She glanced towards Mac's closed door before back to Will. "I should be getting back to work, still have some studying to finish before my exams." She patted his hand, still resting on her shoulder, before stepping around him to head back towards the main office of the clinic.

Brody watched Adelaide as the witch was clearly deep within her own thoughts and world, he wasn't even sure if she'd heard him. "Good talk then." He uttered, heading to collect his bags and rifle through them searching for a shirt to change into.

Morgan smirked then giggled softly at the wolf, immediately regretting it as she felt a stinging burn through her ribs. She groaned and closed her eyes, laying still, waiting for the pain to go away.

Brody glared at Morgan in bed, "You deserved it." He tugged a clean shirt over his head, tossing the other over his bag left out. He headed back towards the door, civic keys in his pocket. He pulled his leather coat over his shoulders before sliding out a long piece of thick wood from beneath his hunting bag. One end covered in a thick rubber the other cut out into a half circle. "Don't open the door until I come back. Keep the curtains closed and the noise low." He opened the door and turned, dragging the door closed behind him and setting up the wood so as he closed the door it would slide off the door handle and create a far more secure than the standard hotel locks.

He headed back to the civic, taking out his phone to start calling his old contacts to see who, if anyone, was still in the business. They needed supplies and more knowledge as to just how long Vahncry had been prowling the city.

"You must have done something to impress or amuse him then." Lex commented as he picked up the previsions Ginny had brought. "Despite his insistence to the contrary, Chaos doesn't do anything without a reason."
Lex took a few ravenous bites before looking back at Ginny. He held up a finger as he finished what was in his mouth.
"Kind, compassionate." He said aloud, doing some mental translation. "It seems we are all bound to our names."
He paused a moment.
"What do you know of...well, we never bothered with a proper name before, but horsemen?"

Chester worked his jaw as he left his room. Conquest hadn't lost his edge, it seemed. That was both a good and bad thing. This was more improv than he had hoped, but more hoops were part of the game. You either jumped them or gave up. And Chaos couldn't give up. Not now. He had sacrifced too much to give up now. He just had to convince the humans they wanted Strife around. A hard sell, but it could be done. Heck, it might even be challenging enough to be fun.
After stopping once to ask for directions, Chester made his way to Brendan's quarters, figuring that was as good a place to start looking for the council member as anywhere.

Shafaqat chuckles and nods as he mentions her name. His comment is both very correct, and not as true as she wants it to be. “I… don’t know much, honestly. My family tried to keep me away from the kind of people who would have taught me that.” She admits.

“Most of what I’ve heard is fairly vague, and since I mainly research what I think will try to kill me, or one of the others has told me to research, I haven’t looked into horsemen yet.” She’s tilts her head curiously. “Why do you ask?”

1567369804368.png

Thor smiled, he had expected no less of the man "Then hopefully you'll make your ancestor proud. Of course I think I'll need to patch you up magically before we head off, Ashley-May would flay me with a kitchen knife if I brought you along in a weakened state." The Deity paused and entered, thinking heavily, scratching is beard. "I've been thinking for a while about this, you might be familiar with blessings from the gods, I gave one to Adelaide for protection. There is another one, of greater importance and one I do not give as readily. Back in the day when the Earth was ours, we would choose select humans as our champions that would go on to perform great deeds in our names. I personally have not chosen one for a thousand years, but if you know your history, the last one was made immortal by the Anglo-Saxon Chronicles about the Battle of Stamford Bridge if you know of whom I speak. You can think of it as a key, to unlock your full potential of your human body. This will form a bond between us, and your mind will be in a way linked to mine. You could communicate with me telepathically and I will be able to sense things such as distress. If you agree, I can bestow it upon you. If you do not, I'll simply restore you to your normal form."

Will Formal.jpg

William watched Ashley-May go with a frown. He didn't need Adelaide's gift to detect the dejected tone of her voice as she acquiesced to the revised wedding schedule. He took a deep breath, turning on his heel to head out of the hospital, fishing his cellphone out as he did so to send a text to Chase: On my way. He had made a promise to check in with the Pack members situated at the old hotel and furthermore it was his responsibility after helping to broker the deal.

Elijah 8.jpg
Elijah's eyebrows raised as Thor made his offer to him. He was very familiar with the example given by the deity: the "Viking of Stamford Bridge". Though his name was lost to history, he was remembered as hero to his comrades whose life bought them time to desperately reorganize, but a living terror to the Anglo-Saxon soldiers that opposed him during his final stand. His feats were a thing of legend -- and now they were placed in context.

Eli considered the offer before him, but the choice came quickly enough. Though the same could not be said for many of his friends, Elijah trusted Odinson. He'd proven himself a stalwart ally of their cause. And if becoming the deity's champion meant healing the stubborn wounds inflicted from Pan's Trial and earning a chance to get back into the fight against The First Sin... then it was worth it.

Slowly, Davenport nodded. "I accept," he said quietly. "Thank you -- for your faith in me. I'll do what I can to be worthy of it."

rsz_adelaide_6.jpg
Adelaide managed to finish her tonic shortly after Brody left. The concoction had an aroma that could be charitably called "pungent", but with any luck it would speed Morgan's natural healing process and dull the pain she felt. She took the glass vial over to her friend, kneeling down at the bedside. "You need to drink this, Morgs. I can't promise it'll taste good, but it'll help you heal," she said with a concerned smile, standing by to help tilt Morgan's head upward so she could swallow properly.

Brendan opened the front door to his home with a grin - we was expecting the Duffey's to arrive at any moment. However seeing who was on the other side, that grin quickly faded to a polite smile. "Chester, what can I-"

From behind came a squeal of delight from several children as they tore past him in a thunderous herd, quickly following was Christopher, hands raised in mock claws he growled and howled at the children. As he passed the open front door he paused, quickly standing upright and clearing his throat. He gave Chest a stiff nod before striding out of sight, the same direction the children had fled. He didn't know Chester very well, but he did know he wasn't human. Mildly embarrassed, Chris hoped he hadn't offended the Horsemen.

Brendan waited, patiently, his eyes unwavering from Chester until the noise had subsided. "What can I do for you?"
RikuXIII RikuXIII

Morgan watching Adelaide warily as she approached with the putrid scenting concoction. She frowned doubtfully at the mixture even as Addy explained it would help her heal. "I'm feeling better already." She countered, wistfully. "Really, almost right as rain." To prove her point she shifted, an attempt to push herself into a seated position. Instead of moving she felt the burning pain re-ignite in her shoulder and midsection. She did her best to stifle her groan but really it was to no avail - Adelaide simple scowled at her. She huffed and lifted her head, the witch assisting in bringing the cup to her lips. She drank and gagged, rolling her eyes at the thick foul tasting drink.

It took several minutes of coughing and gagging (some of which was over exaggerated) before she settled back onto the bed. "He's trying to help, you know."
Safton Safton

Thor smiled and said "Well, it isn't binding, I can always revoke it if you'd rather I did, or if I find you unworthy." Saying the last part in jest. It was a fairly straightforward process, but Thor would not do it in Vitae. It was an important matter for him and it would be done where he had always done it. Thor resumed "We should proceed at once, there is an old shrine I used for this very purpose in Lofoten, I shall take you there. Your body may need a little while to adjust, you will feel stronger, faster in every sense of the word. Your senses will be heightened to the peak of your mortal capability. It will not however provide you with any supernatural qualities. I should warn you. This may seem a bit formal, or strange to you, but this is an important rite to us. And I'll not do it in an improper way. You've seen enough of me to not drop dead from a heart attack I hope."

The Deity had never been one to dally when there was tasks to be done, and after waiting a second to allow Elijah to process what he had said, Thor snapped his fingers.

1567897177176.png

It was early morning in Norway, the sun had just begun creeping up over the horizon as Thor appeared with Elijah in Lofoten. Despite being so far north, it was not quite cold, though it was definitely a great deal chillier than in Vitae. They stood in the shadow of a great peak, stretching towards the horizon, facing the North Sea. By the water stood a great oak, it was an ancient tree turned grey by age, yet it still bore leaves. It stood taller than most of it's kind, and looked out of place in the region. Small standing stones, worn down by age and heavy rains of the region, had inscriptions that were hard to even make out that they where there. A soft breeze came in from the sea and waves calmly washed over the cliffs near them.

Thor almost sounded sad as he spoke "This was a center of worship in ancient times, this is where I would make those I deemed worthy my champion here on Earth, of course, no one has come here since the Christians made their war upon my followers, slaughtering those who would not convert." He slowly began making his way towards the tree, letting his hand brush over a standing stone. Well at the tree he turned around and raised his hands to the height of his shoulders while looking up and the sky, and began speaking in ancient norse. His voice seemed to resonate throughout the very land, as if the stone, the branches, the wind and the water was repeating his every word.

Lightning lit up the sky as dark clouds gathered above them, the wind increased in strength and the waves began to pummel the shore. Sending gouts of salt sea water into the air. Thor himself began to glow with light from within, but he was not the only one. Shapes, hard to make out, as if they danced at the very edge of what was visible, yet could still be glimpsed, appeared around them. There was a tall old man, looking like he was almost made out of clouds, leaning heavily against a staff, one of his eyes shone like a star, the other was dark. His beard was long and despite looking very old he carried himself with authority. A beautiful woman shining with pure light, with a gentle expression on her face. A one-handed man seemed to appear out of mist, a grizzled warrior that was both intimidating and just at the same time. From the ground came a woman that was as beautiful as she was terrifying, wearing the shadows around her like a cloak. Yet more figures was arriving around them. Observing what was about to transpire.

Smiling, the Thundergod looked around at them before looking back at Elijah, hoping the man would not be too unnerved by the sudden appearance of his kin. He figured they would have sensed what was going on and was too intrigued to not take a look "Your are favored indeed my friend, the Aesir are here to bear witness." Thor's voice seemed to resonate even stronger now, and the air around them was buzzing with the energy of so many gods present. A massive thunderbolt lit up the sky as Thor spoke once more, his voice sounding like the rumbling thunder in the sky "Elijah, of the Davenport family. Are you ready accept the honor of becoming the Champion of the God of Thunder and Protector of Mankind, to raise your sword in my stead, when I am not there to do it myself?"

Adelaide was relieved when Morgan finally acquiesced to partaking in the tonic. She might have been worried by the subsequent coughing and gagging fit... if not for being able to read the woman's true mental state beneath it. Disgusted? Most certainly. Distressed? Not so much. Instead, Morgan's outburst got her little more than an unceremonious shake of the head as she began cleaning up her materials near the sink when she heard Morgan speak.

Addy paused, glancing over her shoulder at her. "Brody?" she asked rhetorically. "Of course he is. Why do you say that?"

Elijah Main.jpg
Elijah found himself whirling around on his heel to take in the scene around him. The mountain backdrop would have been breathtaking on its own (aside from the chilly air), but his focus quickly drifted from the scenery to the divine figures appearing in quiet observance. He suspected he knew precisely who they were -- but there was a world of difference between text and pictures on a page and the living, breathing gods surrounding the pair.

They were here, watching them. Watching him. The air was thick with a permeable sort of energy, his body charged with something akin to static electricity. He didn't even flinch when Thor's voice boomed across the rolling hills of the god's ancestral land. Instead, he looked up briefly into the sky before returning his gaze to the Odinson, fixing him with his eyes before nodding. "I accept."

Chase was dropping off a box on one of the beds in the motel when he felt his phone buzz from his pocket. Originally he'd planned on leaving to seek out Will or Ash to have them more or less check in on Morgan for Emile, but he'd ended up getting wrapped up in helping out with moving some pack members belongings into the empty rooms. As well as dropping off his own bag in the room he and Emile had visited, opting to claim that one for their own.

The man read the text to see that Will was on his way over. Rather than replying he decided to wait until the hunter arrived, considering it wasn't a long wait. He stepped back out onto the second floor walkway and tipped his bottle of water up for a few gulps whilst watching the lively parking lot and waiting for Will.

Thor held out his arms in a welcoming gesture and roared "Allfather, Aesir! Let your eyes bear witness!" Wind began to swirl around Thor as he approached Elijah with slow but sure steps, the thunder above had grown to fierce the sky was practically split open. The one-handed warrior slammed his only fist into his chest, sending a pulse of divine energy through the air that was already buzzing with it. To the Gods, this was more than a simple gathering to watch a champion being chosen for the first time in centuries. This was something that reminded them of who they were, in a time when the world had all but forgotten about them. Each of them seemed to rise in stature as Thor approached Elijah.

Meeting Elijah's gaze, Thor slowly placed his palm on Elijah's forehead, when he spoke it was not his mouth who made the sound, but the thunder in the sky "Elijah Davenport of the Anglo-Saxons, from this day on you are the Champion of Thor here in Midgard, let it be known that whereever you walk, you shall do so in my name." A magical pulse from his hand then surged through the British hunter as Thor's blessing came into effect.

The effect on the weather was almost instant, the seas and the sky calmed almost instantly, the soft light of the dawn began to seep through the thinning clouds. The gods all vanished, returning to Asgard and their golden halls, all but one. The cloudy form of the one-eyed man let his gaze fall on the hunter, his star-eye seemingly looking into Elijah's soul. Thor, clearly respecting this god, took a step aside. Speaking directly to Elijah's mind said simply;

Cattle die,
kindred die,
we ourselves also die;
but the fair fame
never dies
of him who has earned it.

Morgan huffed, settling back in the bed with a sigh at Adelaide's question. Either Addy was playing games with her or she honestly didn't know. "Earlier, you were ignoring him. Before he left." She shrugged and winced at the pain. She settled back into the bed and closed her eyes, she was already healing and she didn't doubt that the witches mixture was helping her along. "He was trying to be nice, in his own way."
Safton Safton

Even if Elijah hadn't been schooled in mythology from his youngest years to the halls of Oxford, he would have known in his soul who the deity before him was, the one speaking to him without opening his mouth -- the words appearing in the hunter's mind, but undeniably not his own. Eli couldn't speak, but instead reacted on instinct as he bowed his head in deference to the Allfather, kneeling before him.

Adelaide cocked her head at Morgan's explanation, understanding dawning on her. "He... I wasn't--" she started before sighing, raising a hand to her forehead. "My mind was on you, julie loup. You scared the hell out of me, you know that?" She paused before amending. "Both of us."

William arrived at the hastily-converted motel, weaving his way through the Pack members unloading vehicles in the parking lot. Any wonder about whether they recognized him was swiftly answered by a number of stares and even the occasional glare as he approached the front face of the building, glancing up toward the upper level above him.

Lex nodded.
“We were never much interested in dealing with other beings, unless they found themselves in our individual domains.” He said. “Distractions from the work.”
He took another bite of food, looking a little thoughtful.
“Well, an important tidbit to know since you will be dealing with both Chaos and Strife is that while our names define us, it is not always obvious in what ways. Keep that in mind for when you may need to manipulate one or both of them to prevent blows.”
Lex turned to regard Shafaqat, his eyes colder than before.
“I am telling you this because I owe you and which success for Chaos’s plan, especially since I fear his participation endangers it. But be careful how you use this knowledge. I will be watching.”

Chester was prepared to launch into his sales pitch when the children and Christoper came around. The Horseman beamed at the children, giving a little wave to them. He liked to think of humans as “his” creatures, their youth most of all. Their small minds hadn’t accepted the chains of order the adults forced on them. They even seemed to have the power to bring this out in adults. It was strange how this worked, but Chaos loved it.
As he considered these thoughts, he returned Christopher’s nod, also enjoying that as well. He had let his reputation slip over the past couple hundred years. It was good to feel a glimmer of respect and fear. He might not be what he once was, but he would get there.
“Hmm?” Chester replied to Brendan’s question, still watching after the kids and Chris.
Remembering his reason for being here, he turned his attention to Brendan.
“Oh, yes. I’m here with good news.” He said, putting on a friendly smile. “After a discussion with Lex, I believe we have a lead on another old friend who could be helpful against-“
He paused, his darted to the direction the kids went. Humans could be very strange about what they would and wouldn’t tell their offspring.
“Our common problem.” Chester continued, looking back to Brendan. “You may not know her directly, she never got into the limelight like some of us. Name’s Strife. She can be a bit of a pill, but her abilities could come in handy. We’ve even got a place offsite in mind to put her up, just to make sure her...well, namesake doesn’t mess up your meetings. Just say the word, and Ginny and me can have her here, no problem!”

Shafaqat nods, growing more serious as he does. “Thank you. It means a lot that you’re trusting me to help with this.” She says. “And, hey, Eve designed djinni to be manipulators, right? I might end up having a talent for it.” She manages a small smile. As chipper as she tries to be, it’s obvious that she’s stressed, and just trying to do her best to help everyone. Her name also defines her. Kind and generous to a fault.

Maxwell stepped into the former police station that was now used as the armory and prison. The first thing he'd done when the cell came into view was glance in it's direction to see a man he recognized lying on the cot inside. Letting out a huff he moved over towards the nearby desk that was more or less the designated guard duty area. Brendan had been sure to set up a schedule to make sure someone was always watching Thomas not long after they'd been told he'd need to be housed in the cell when Hendrix had set up a deal for some of the Wolves to move into the colony. Quietly he took his seat, thankful for the small reprieve he'd have in Thomas being asleep for the moment. He knew all too well when the man woke and saw it was Max watching him things were bound to get uncomfortable.

Chase spotted Will entering the parking area, and waited for the man to spot him leaning against the railing but it never happened. The hunters eyes likely searching for either him or Emile out of the small group of wolves strewn throughout the parking lot. Eventually the other mans eyes glanced up and eventually found Chase, and thus he'd thrown up his hand in a lazy wave as he headed for the stairs at the end of the motel that led down. With only the second floor having vacancies the stairs would be under heavy use for the time being so it seemed best to get out of the way if he was taking a break.

Once on ground level he moved to meet up with Will nearby, "You'll likely be happy to hear that the disgruntled attitude from being put up in the second floor a motel is down to a minimum..." he paused a moment to consider, "...more or less."

The God, who was unmistakably Odin, seemed satisfied and smiled ever so slightly. Two ravens, seemingly as otherwordly as himself, flapped up on his shoulders and a golden gateway materialised behind him. As The Allfather stepped through, laughter and shouting not of Earth could be heard, and Odin could be glimpsed in all his glory along with the golden hall of Valhalla for the briefest of moments. Then they vanished as suddenly as they had appeared and everything was back to normal. Thor smiled, he saw that his father had been recovering in Asgard, regaining his strength. With the Thundergod's increased presence on Earth, the home of the Aesir was weakened. And the neighbouring realms of Jötunheimr and Muspelheim were ever vigilant, waiting for when the gods would be at their most vulnerable. Odin's return would ensure that they would be kept at bay, for like Thor, he was one of the now fewer deities that were still powerful enough to call themselves gods in Thor's opinion. And Odin was more than just powerful, even though Thor himself was the physically strongest of the Norse gods, Odin was the oldest, the wisest and most powerful. A spellcaster of unmatched ability, even amongst the gods.

Saying "I do believe that was my father's way of inviting you to his hall, should you fall in the ensuing war." Thor turned his eyes to Elijah that he saw was kneeling, and smiled, saying in jest "It is nice to see that you gave my father a warmer greeting than I received. Now, how do you feel?". Though Elijah had always been respectful, Thor had never received such reverence like that Odin had from the British hunter.

Brendan frowned and followed Chester's gaze as he paused and looked over his grandchildren. He listened, returning his sights to the horsemen. "Strife" He repeated, slightly bemused. "She sounds pleasant." He could only shrug, the horsemen had forewarned about wanting to gather his friends for the cause. "I would presume that you'll vouch for her and should anything come of her arrival here you'll be held responsible, correct?"

He didn't wait for a reply, instead smiled and patted the horsemen on the shoulder. "Good man, to let Councilmen Hendrix know if you need additional accommodation - he should be settling in the pack right now and would have better details if there are any available apartments remaining." With that, he headed back into his home, content to spend some time with his family.

Morgan nodded slowly, still tired and healing she found herself starting to drift. "He just wants to be your friend." She mumbled. She knew she was likely a sight to see, half seated and slowly tipping over as she attempted to keep herself awake, wanting to talk to Adelaide more. "I didn't think I would be that scary," She continued, her breathing growing deeper. "It was the only way I could stop it.

William chuckled at Chase's remark as the man approached him on the ground floor of the motel. He turned to cast one last glance around at the accommodations -- such as they were -- before returning his attention to the werewolf. "About that -- I didn't know this was where they were going to put you up. I might have given you some warning otherwise," he remarked with a sheepish smile, rubbing at the back of his neck.

"A lot of houses were left empty after the 'exodus'," Will said, his tone slightly sour at the thought of the Council and their supporters fleeing the Pack even after their peaceful intentions were made clear. "But they didn't stay that way for long. There's room in the barracks, but you'd be sharing it with hunters and given the circumstances..." he allowed his voice to trail off, shrugging.

Elijah's eyebrows shot up as Thor mentioned the possibility of him being invited to Asgard. A rare honor for mortals, no doubt, but one Eli didn't hope to take Odin up on anytime soon. He smiled at the god's following jab. "When it comes sarcasm, I draw the line at demons, angels, and lesser gods." He paused, glancing at Thor with lips pursed. "Relatively speaking, of course. And to answer your question..." he took a deep breath, extending his hand before him and flexing his fingers experimentally before clenching a fist. Without much in the way of conscious thought, his hands lashed out in a rapid combination of punches before turning fluidly into a spinning back kick at an invisible target.

Eli stood at ease, nodding. "It's hard to explain. I feel... revitalized. Like I'm in the best shape of my life." It was the endorphin high after a rigorous workout multiplied tenfold. He paused, his hand sliding down to lift the hem of his shirt slightly. The scarring from Pan's trial was nearly gone -- only a few blemishes remained on his flesh, though they looked years old rather than weeks. The small bit of lingering pain was gone, without a trace.

Adelaide smiled as Morgan mentioned Brody's want to befriend her. "I want that, too," she said softly, though Morgan was already speaking again... in between nodding off. However, Adelaide frowned as she heard what her friend was saying, initially confused until understanding emerged. Addy took a seat gingerly onto the bed next to her. "No, Morgan," she said, taking the woman's hand in both of her own. "I could never be scared of you. You saved my life in that apartment. I wasn't afraid of you..." she said, biting her lower lip. "I was afraid I was going to lose you." Addy's voice was raw with emotion, her eyes filling with moisture as she blinked the threatening tears away.
