Thor gave Ashley-May a small smile as she took his hand, and he squeezed it gently back. "I will lay our enemies to waste until I flush out Hypolyes, and this time I won't be weakened when I do battle with him. For too long has he been able to make his way around the world, murdering our allies and destroying their bases of operations. All the while Adam's servants are growing in number every day. I will make myself available for anyone that needs help, but I shall do what I do best, I shall swing Mjölnir until there is no one left that can break the Seals. In ancient times most evil things were wary of causing harm in the Germanic parts of the world, even the mighty dragons, because they feared retribution from me and my father. We have been losing battles for far too long, it is time someone brought the battle to them. I can appear whereever I please in an instant and few walking the face of this planet can withstand my fury. In human terms I would say that what I have in mind is waging severe shock warfare. That is my plan." A fire burned in his eyes as he spoke.

Chaos gave Ginny a dirty look. As if his job convincing Lex wasn't hard enough, he didn't need the larger reality of the situation making it harder.
"She's had some set backs, like us." He said, trying to keep his anger in check. "Her influence won't be as bad, knowing she's around will help, and we can keep her off-site during tight times."
"If she is weaker, then why her?" Lex asked, eyes narrowing. "Again, she hates you."
"Do we really want her on the outside?" Chester asked, after heaving a sigh. "Imagine if Adam got a hold of her. He builds her up to be a weapon, one that ensures that there is too much infighting to properly oppose him. Look, I know Strife is a hand full and a half, but she could do more damage against us than with us. Plus, you know she's always had...issues. Maybe, with her powers dulled, we can actually get her to work through them."
He sent a side glance to Ginny.
"Like Ginny, here." the horseman said, jerking a thumb to her. "She's been working with a local vampire to control the urge. Maybe she could help sort out what's wrong in Strife's head. Plus, she's been working with gods, so one lessor horseman might not be too bad."
Lex looked at Ginny with a thoughtful look.
"Do you think you can do it?" He asked the djinn.

Ginny’s eyes widen a bit at Chester’s suggestion, and she’s quiet for a long moment. “I mean… so does she dream? I know you said you don’t, and I’ve been working with Tara through venom dreams to put her through various scenarios. I’m willing to try it, if you guys think I can.” As long as she doesn’t go insane. That seems like a distinct possibility with trying to do dream therapy for a horseman.

Emile turned onto his side facing Chase. He propped his head up in the palm of his hand as he listened to the other spoke about Thomas. Chase was hard to read at times, he was far different from the rest of his pack - more often than not he could tell the truth behind how one of his pack members was feeling about a situation, even if they were saying otherwise. He couldn't tell what Chase wanted in the end, or even if he knew what he wanted. "Non," He spoke softly with a light sigh. "We stay here, you deserve hot showers." He winked, reaching out to pat Chase's thigh, leaving his hand to rest there. "Et, you can have, erm, company? Friends?" He shrugged, giving up. "We need to be careful mais, you are right. We cannot keep separate from allies who give us home."

As much as the decision would bother Emile and it would take him days, if not a week, to fully acclimatize with living in the colony, he knew it was a necessity. WIth a sigh he squeezed Chase's thigh before pushing himself up from the bed, leaning down to give a chaste kiss to his cheek. "Come, we tell le meute."

Christopher nodded. "Chris is fine," He offered a weak smile before nodding back the way he had come. "This way, the Rec centre serves meals three times a day. The lunch ladies can't really be beat for local cuisine." He waited for her to come around the bike and join him before he started on their way. "So how long do you think you'll be staying?" He wondered at just how long it would take for her to notice the small town was a little different from others - and just what she'd do with that information.

Mackenzie nodded in agreement, it was good to know that they were safe also that she would get some sort of indication that the Seal had been completed. Moreso that the prophecy, the visions themselves would dissipate. "One less thing in my head confusing me?" She settled back in beside him, leaning against his warm body and closing her eyes. She remained that way for a little time before speaking again. "We should probably let the others know - so they can stop worrying about it."

Morgan listened carefully to death hound beast before her - listening further for the possibility of any others nearby or coming to exact revenge for the death of the first. Instead the room filled with the sound of Adelaide scrambling for her footing and then running for her. Morgan huffed, a near howling groan rumbling from her chest in complaint about Addy touching her. It was the best that she could do, given she lacked the vocal cords and palette to express her concerns. She had open wounds, wolf blood transmitted the lupine 'curse' and Addy could find herself a wolf without choice.

Brody snarled and snapped as the demon tore itself away from him, clawed hands gripping the brick work behind him as he attempted to control his shift. It had never been his forte, years of practice still left him well behind other park-mates in control, including new members and young-lings. He wasn't surprised to see it vanish - he hadn't expected a real one on one with the demon. He closed his eyes and inhaled deeply before turning to stalk down along the alley and side of the building. Finding a side door, he tore the steel from the hinges and started up the stairs.

It wasn't hard for the Guardian to find where the two women had been, the stench of the dead beast already filling the halls. He stepped through the apartment door, looking over the two - neither seemed overly hurt. "We need to go, this wasn't quite, I wouldn't be surprised if someone called the cops."

Ashley-May raised an eyebrow as Thor went on about his plans for the dragon and Adam and their enemies. "I guess you don't care much for relaxing or leisure." She mused, smirking. "I mean, as long as you know what you're doing." She shrugged. "I just worry that he's too strong. You might want to talk about Mac and the prophecies." She bit her lip. "The night that you died she saw the colony being burned to the ground. She hasn't been wrong yet, right? Maybe she knows a way around it? A way to stop him?"

Thor smiled "Our battle was fierce, and he still carries a little parting gift from me on his face. And that was when I still was weakened. If anything he should worry about me being too strong now that I have returned to full power... All I know is that I have faced foes equally deadly in my eons, and I already hurt him when we fought. I know a way of stopping him, my hammer caving in his chest. As for taking it easy, and speaking of Hypolyes, I need to speak to Will and Elijah. Some of my German associates have managed to track down a dragon in Oregon, I do not know what it's purpose is there but I want to capture or kill it. The two of them needs to know what it's like to fight one of them, Elijah in particular now that he wields my sword."

William nodded, albeit reluctantly. He knew Mac was right about the Seal. He climbed out of the bed, leaning down to brush his lips against hers. "I'll be back to check on you soon, love. Get some rest," he murmured before turning to quietly leave the room. He was already fetching his phone, prepared to dial everyone he could think of who needed to bet let in on the status of the seals, starting with Brendan.

Adelaide 2.jpg
Adelaide frowned at Morgan's displeased grumble. She understood Morgan's concerns, but didn't plan on releasing her friend all the same. Before long she heard the thudding of heavy footsteps, but calmed immediately as she sensed Brody drawing nearer until he appeared in the room's threshold. Her eyes widened at the sight of a bloody gash across his face, along with other wounds. At least he seemed able to move under his own power.

She slowly stood up, gathering up Morgan's clothes as she began to shift back. Adelaide frankly couldn't care less about Morgan's modesty (and she knew both wolves felt the same way), but having an injured and nude woman fleeing the building would only draw more attention that they desperately needed to avoid.

Chase blinked as the man laying on the bed next to him did a 180. "How did you go from a hundred to zero just like that? You're giving me whiplash." It was nearly enough to cause a daze. One moment he'd been adamant about not staying and the next he'd all but given up. Chase just shook his head in light amusement about the whole thing including Emile's comments on the hot shower and having friends over. "Oh wow, thanks uncle Emile." He joked in a mildly mocking tone, attempting to mimic what he imagined was once a teenage Morgan who'd had a similar conversation.

He'd nodded in agreement as the two stood from the bed to head outside. All things considered Chase knew well enough it wasn't that easy, clearly the Alpha had reservations but had given up on fighting. Once outside he could see the rest of the pack vehicles that had lagged behind on the way over, all having been redirected to the motel parking area. "I'm sure Malcolm and Aaiden will be happy to hear."

"See?" Chester said with a hint of triumph. "Ginny's got this."
Lex eyed the djinn, noting the uncertainty in her response. The passion with which Chaos was pushing for bringing in Strife actually intrigued Lex. The whole concern of her falling into Adam's hands was a legit concern, but it seemed more like justification than a reason from the older horseman. Conquest knew that while Chaos liked to portray himself as the random and terrifying chaos feared of old, he always had a plan. He always had reasons. So, what were they here?
"Very well." Lex conceded. "It's worth a try. Though keeping her separate from this colony might be wise."
He looked back at Ginny.
"Is there any watchtowers or other buildings we could convert for Strife's use?"

Eliasdagood Eliasdagood

Ginny thinks about that. “I’m not sure on that one. I’d suggest asking one of the councilmen.” She says with a shrug. “I don’t really have the authority to zone out a building for her anyway.” She pauses for a moment. “I mean, there’s always my old place. Broken down old warehouse a couple miles out. We could probably fix it up for her if she’s alright with that.”

Ashley-May paused, whatever humor or happiness in her expression wilted as Thor spoke about taking Elijah to hunt a dragon.

I told you he wanted to use you.

“Absolutely not.” She shook her head vehemently. “No. He’s still recovering from his Trail with Pan – he shouldn’t have even gone with you now but you assured me he would be fine. Mac has seen what the dragons can do to us, I’ve read about it. He’s not a god, Thor. He’s not a Nephilim. He’s just a man with a sword.” She could tell her voice was coming to a pitch. She stood then, stepping over the bench. “We’re not warriors’ part of your army, Thor. We’re people, hunters, just trying to live to see tomorrow.”

She turned to storm away, heading back towards the Clinic and her duties.

Brody frowned at the sight of Morgan’s clothing as Adelaide collected it and hovered near by the Alpha. At first he was annoyed and confused by the sight of it; this was the least of their concerns for the moment. After a moment he came to understand Adelaide’s intent. The sheer amount of blood surrounding Morgan was enough to tell she hadn’t been unscathed – in unlikely event they managed to exit the apartment, stairwell and building without coming into contact with someone the nude and bloodied young woman would be a red flag.

He winced hearing Morgan groan pitifully, with his heightened senses he could easily hear the Alpha’s bones popping back into place. He knew very well the pain associated with shifting while injured, it was near impossible for the two forms to reconcile the injuries. The shift inevitably feeling as though the bones were rebreaking, the flesh retearing. He turned away. "I'll go move the car to the side door." He paused with a frown before turning to collect the strewn items from Addy's pack and tuck anything he could back inside. Nodding he stepped back into the hallway and headed to the stairwell.

Morgan was unaware of her surroundings for the duration of the shift. It felt like hours upon hours of excruciating pain but she willed herself to near silence less she draw any more attention to themselves. Once turned she lay in the fetal postion, eyes closed tightly as she attempted to catch her breath. She jumped feeling Addy's hand on her shoulder, she looked up to the concerned face of her friend who offered her clothing. Sitting up the best she could Morgan worked with Addy to get her clothing back on as best as possible. A sleeve didn't fit, her arm swollen beyond recognition, Addy was forced to tear the material apart. Parts of her shirt and pants were already soaking blood from her wounds.

She forewent the shoes and with Addy's help she managed to climb to her feet, an arm slung over thr witches shoulder.

Emile raised an eyebrow at the term he didn't understand. The remainder of the other wolf's complaint was clear and he huffed. "I consider what you say. What I feel. What the pack want." He shrugged. "It not zero to un cent, it all thing at one I have to think about." Chase went on to mock him saying he'd be willing to allow his friends onto their new found territory and stopped. Still holding Chase's hand he tugged the younger man so he turned to face him. With Chase now turned Emile stepped in, closing the distance between them, backing Chase up against the railing. He leaned in to press a kiss to the corner of his lips, trailing a line along his jaw towards his ear. Emile drew Chase's arm over his shoulder, his kisses pausing as he came to his ear lobe. He spoke softly, a smile on his lips, though Chase wouldn't be able to see it. "If you want to call me uncle, we can go back to the room, eh?" He nipped at the lobe, a growl emitting from his chest. "Tell me what you want, loup perdu, and I give it to you."

William stood in the hospital lobby as he ended his call with Brendan. The Elder had sounded beyond relieved to hear about the Boston Seal being resolved; a rare state for the normally uptight man. Will checked his phone to make sure he hadn't received a call or text from Addy. He stared at the device with a frown when he found that this wasn't the case. Mac had confirmed the end of the Seal, but Addy hadn't gotten in touch with him yet. He pushed the worry from his mind -- she'd contact him when she could.

Will instead focused on tapping out a text to Chase: Boston Seal taken care of. I'm waiting on a call from Addy.

Adelaide Main.jpg
Adelaide had barely been able to watch her friend shift. This was not the effortless change she'd come to associate with Morgan, the injuries making the process laborious and excruciating. Addy could feel the pain radiating from her friend, amazed that she had the fortitude to bite down on cries of pain. Adelaide wasn't sure she'd have the strength to do the same in her shoes. Once the shift was mercifully over, Addy helped Morgan into her clothes before lifting her to her feet and allowing her to sling an arm across her shoulder.

The two wasted no time in hobbling down the corridor. One resident started to crack their door open and peek out. Addy didn't spare them so much as a glance, slamming the door shut with her telekinesis (and eliciting a muffled cry of surprise from the other side) to buy the two time to reach the stairwell. The journey down was no easy task with Morgan's injuries and Addy did her best to support her, at one point even concentrating enough to use her gift to help the young wolf glide down to the bottom landing.

Addy pushed the side door open -- apparently it had already been destroyed by Brody or the hellhound on their way in -- stepping out into the alleyway just in time to see her car pulling up at the curb, Brody at the wheel. Sirens were audible in the distance. "Almost there, Morgs," she murmured, helping her friend to the car and into the backseat before jumping in alongside her. The door was barely shut by the time Brody hit the gas, sending them speeding onto the side street.

Thor looked at Ash with an unflinching gaze, but his eyes revealed sadness "You won't live to see a tomorrow unless you become warriors. And when will you learn that I fight for you? I gave my life to save you, save all of you, do you think I do not have those I cared for that I've lost? My father and brother died fighting against Lucifer to stop the Apocalypse, during my eons I have lost more of those dear to me than I can remember. What do you do if I die again? I wouldn't wager on my chances of another miracle rescue. You'll be on your own, without anyone who can contend with a dragon because no one will know what they are capable of. Your planet will be scorched by dragonfire just as Mac saw. Just as the last time I will be with him this time, but he needs to learn. Wielding that blade is a great boon and honor, but it comes with a responsibility. As it stands he is one of the very few on this planet with the ability to slay a dragon. I learned long ago not to underestimate the strength of a man with a sword and the will to wield it."

Chase smirked with a small chuckle when Emile had grabbed him to turn him rather than continue walking. Initially he'd thought it a small moment of affection but suddenly being pinned against the railing and now able to see the other man told him otherwise. "Raring to go for another round already? I could chalk it up to Werewolf libido but also years of sexual frustration on your part." He opted to smirk and allow the man to enjoy himself until Emile spoke. Chase was both caught off guard and bemused at the realization of what had brought on Emile's mood. There was a deep chuckle as he got over the initial shock, "I can't say I don't enjoy this reaction from you." He admitted, fingers carding through the back of Emile's hair. It was a tempting offer, going back into the room and closing the door but he knew leaving the pack waiting and confused wasn't the best move. But honestly he'd just owe Malcolm even more later. Before he could say as much and jokingly scold the Alpha for shirking his duties, Chase felt the phone in his pocket buzz. Considering current positioning he was also sure Emile felt said buzz. There was a small huff where he considered ignoring it and continuing their escapades but considering those few who had his number he decided it couldn't be ignored. He gave a small tap with his other hand against Emile's waste to back up a little then fished the phone out.

Chase kept their positioning as he raised the phone to look at the screen hoping to see something not worth mentioning and moving on. However the text he read from Will left him squinting in confusion. "One sec." He told Emile, straightening up and gently regaining enough room to text back. How'd they deal with it already? That's a twenty hour drive at least. All things considered they shouldn't have even arrived at their destination yet, forget having dealt with the seal itself. And this text itself told Chase that Will's mission had finished and likely gone well enough.

Ashley-May shook her head as Thor spoke, she knew much of what he said was the truth but it didn't sting any less. "How do you know it's Elijah?" She demanded, hands on her hips, the scrubs she wore making her baby bump protrude more than any of her street clothes out. "Maybe it's Mac, or me or Addy that slays the Dragon. Mac told me it has to be a human - not a god. You're hell bent on it being Eli that you haven't even considered anyone else as a possibility." She inhaled deeply then exhaled. "He's still injured, still recovering from Pan. You can't expect him to be top shape and hunt dragons with you tomorrow - he can hardly stand for any length of time let alone wield a sword."

Brody knew well enough, from his years of having to evade hunters and cops a like, that running would only make them look more suspicious than they already were. He was thankful for the old Buick the witch drove, despite the near overwhelming scents that emanated it, for the fact that it was by far one of the least suspicious vehicles they could have been driving. As he came to the end of the side street he stopped, rolling down the window to listen to the sirens. It was hard to pin point, the noise bouncing off of buildings, but he finally found the direction the were coming and turned towards them.

Only a few second of turning down the main street towards the sirens were they passed by several police vehicles flying past them towards the scene. He glanced in the rear view mirror to Addy. "How's she doing?" He asked. "I want to drive us around before taking us out of the city to a motel, but if she's still bleeding ... we night need to stop and patch her up sooner."
Safton Safton

Emile laughed, throatily at Chase's teasing. A less man - or wolf - might be insulted at the suggestion he'd been sexual frustrated for years but Emile knew Chase's teasing mean no harm. "Can you no keep up, petite loup?" He murmured but didn't part from his lover's arms for the moment. He was still waiting for his answer, whether or not his mate would choose to return to the sheets with him. Emile grumbled his discontent feeling the vibration of the hunters phone in his pocket but didn't budge as he fished it out to answer it. Instead, as Chase read over the message he had received he continued to nip at the younger wolfs neck, more to be an annoyance any anything else.

He leaned back as Chase asked for a moment to reply, settling on his hip but still leaning against Chase's frame as he typed out his reply. "Your friend want to come over?" He teased. "I think you still have chore to do first."
Crono Crono

William chuckled at Chase's reply before tapping out one of his own: They got a little boost from Heaven. How are you settling in? I can drop by after Addy calls.

Adelaide looked Morgan over, trusting the driving to Brody. The young wolf was bleeding from multiple gashes and her skin was marred by a number of purple bruises. Periodically, Addy could hear an audible crack or pop as fractured bones attempted to shift back into place. Pain radiated from the young wolf in a way that made her eyes cloud with tears, knowing full well the pain her friend was in.

Addy was doing her best to use the first aid kit in the back of her car to patch up the worst of Morgan's wounds, focusing on stopping the bleeding. She was nowhere near as proficient in medicine as William or Ash, but she knew the basics. Hearing Brody speak up, she was tempted to encourage him to stop so they could focus on caring for Morgan together.

However, seeing the determined light in Morgan's eyes, she shook her head. "Keep going. I'm doing what I can and her body is healing, slowly. Once we get somewhere safe I'll try to brew an elixir to speed things up."

Chester rubbed his chin.
"That could work." He said, though there was uncertainty in his voice. "How big are we talking? It might be best for all three of us to move out there. We're buddies with you and all, but we got some of our own business to tend to."
Again, Lex scrutinized Chester closely.
"We will discuss the logistics and advisability of moving out at a later time." He said. "I suppose you already know where Strife is."
"oh, yes." Chester answered, waving a dismissive hand. "She's actually not too far from here."
"How fortunate." Conquest said pointedly. "I guess you'd better give me directions."
"No, you still need to recuperate." Chester said firmly.
He pointed to the food Ginny had brought.
"That includes eating. I'll go. And before you say anything, yes, she hates me, but I'll have back up."
Chaos smiled up at Ginny.

"Oh you are a chore alright." Chase countered with a smirk before glancing back at his phone. Will's reply explained how they'd gotten there so quick, "Sounds like Morgan and the others are ahead of schedule and finished up with the seal. I did say I'd ask someone to check up on her didn't I?" Though while they hadn't called anyone they were likely just enjoying themselves and their victory if he had to guess. Chase spoke whilst continuing text back his reply, only looking up for a moment to wink at the man in front of him. 'I convinced the big bad wolf to settle with the motel, we were just expecting something different. We're just getting the pack settled.' With the two separated at least for a moment Chase jerked his head back some to nod at the parking lot just behind him, where no doubt they had eyes watching them. "You should probably deal with them. Work now, play later and all that. Those beds aren't going anywhere, but I'm sure they're getting restless." Chase leaned his upper half forwards to once again have the two of them pressed against one another and gave the man a slow yet deep kiss to sate him before breaking off. "Oh and Will said he'll be stopping by."

Ginny listens to them, and just lets out a long sigh as Chester implies he’ll be bringing her along. “Why… why me? Of all people? Why not, I dunno, Elijah? Or Will? Or Mac? Or anyone who knows what they’re doing?” She sighs, shaking her head. “Whatever, it’s not like I was planning on doing anything else today.”

She stretched, taking a deep breath. “Anyway, the warehouse is probably big enough for a small family. Would almost be an ideal home for if mine were still around.”

Thor remained completely calm as he responded "For one, he is familiar with swordplay, more so than even most hunters. Secondly because of Pan's Trial, he has proven himself to be worthy of wielding it, and being able to handle exceedingly difficult situations. As for his current state, are you aware that I am literary a god of healing? Rest assured I wouldn't send him into battle compromised, with my restored power I can fix him without much issue. And lastly in regards to the Slayer, though I still doubt her prophecy... Mackenzie is too valuable as a prophet and too hot-headed, Adelaide is skilled in magic, but as we both know I have already fought him and my magical capabilities are far beyond hers. As for you, while you have many talents and qualities, you possess no magical ability nor the kind of skill to even entertain the thought that you could best a foe such as Hypolyes. I am the only one among you who can match him in strength, speed and experience. That is why your best hope, your only hope against him is to be crafty and outwit him. Elijah has proved to me that he has the wit, determination and training that I can see him having a chance of pulling it off if he has help. That is how I know it's Elijah and that is why I chose him to carry my sword. But he won't be alone, I yet draw breath, and I will bring down the full force of my fury on our enemies until I fall or all that remains of them is ash scattered in the wind."

As Thor spoke his voice grew ever fiercer and as he finished he clenched his fist together, there was the faintest flash of blue light in his eyes, proof that his physical form was simply a disguise for his divine spirit, a spirit so old it predated the stars in the sky. The sound of rumbling thunder could be heard outside, a threatening sound as if the sky was a great beast that growled a challenge to any enemy that would stand against it.

Brody grunted his reply to Adelaide's assessment of Morgan and her injuries. As much as he wanted to pull over and check on her himself he knew doing so would only draw attention to them as they were still very much in a suburban area. He did his best to keep within the speed limits while all the time keeping an eye on their rear. He hardly breathed relief until they were pulling into a motel at the edge of Boston - still within the city limits but far enough away (he hoped) that their car wouldn't be noticed if it had been identified in their get away. He pulled into a spot at the far end, away from main entry.

Turning to look over the back of the seats he spoke softly. "I'll get us a room, on the main floor. Just stay in the car." He wiped at the blood on his cheek - the wound already healed leaving only a bright pink mar to indicate he'd ever been hurt. Even that would fade before the next morning. He stepped out of the car and headed towards the front desk of the motel quickly.

Emile grinned with Chase's complaint, though his expression turned to one of surprise hearing that Morgan and Adelaide had already finished their 'hunt' and by the sounds of it, it had been a success. He wasn't certain how they could have gone from Vitae to Boston in such a short amount of time but didn't doubt that Chase either knew, or would find out. He glanced briefly to the pack waiting in the parking lot below, milling around and leaning on their vehicles. Malcolm still entertained Adrian (I can't remember if that was his name) off to the side.

He was surprised by the kiss but certainly didn't mind it, leaning into the younger man with a grumble in his throat as the wolf commanded him to settle the others in before anything remotely near bed would happen. He huffed but winked "You find out more of Morgan, oui? Be sure she is safe now, see when she come back." He stepped back from Chase, leaving him to follow up further with whomever it was he was talking with and headed down the stairwell to greet the restless pack."

Ashley-May rolled her eyes as the voice within her head cackled. She crossed her arms and glared at Thor, the demeanor and tone of his voice said enough: he didn't think she, or any one else, was capable of handling the Dragon - not to mention he didn't even believe that Mac's prophecy was true. She shook her head and sighed. "Just ... don't get him killed." She said, sounding defeated. "I have to get back to work." She turned and headed back for the Clinic - the only patient was Mac but she just didn't want hear more from Thor.

She stepped into the back of the Clinic, caught of guard seeing Will standing in the hallway texting.

Will locked the phone, sliding it into his pocket and turning on his heel to see Ashley-May. He gave her a sheepish smile. "Hey. I hope you don't mind. I snuck in to see Mac," he said quietly. He cleared his throat, not relishing what came next. "Speaking of which, we have news..." he began, rubbing at the back of his neck.

Adelaide couldn't bring herself to respond to Brody as she tied off a makeshift bandage around Morgan's arm. She looked over the woman -- her friend -- with desperate eyes, looking for something else, anything else, that she could do to help. But between the bindings she had already applied and the lupine healing factor, there was nothing. So instead she settled for wrapping her arms around Morgan's shoulders, gently holding her against her chest and stroking her hair. "You'll be okay," she murmured lightly, as much for her own reassurance as Morgan's. "You have to be..."

Before Thor could respond Ashley-May had walked off, not wanting to end on an overly sour note he said telepathically I will keep him safe, you have my word. It was good speaking to you again, I have missed you. Making sure that he by no means invaded the privacy of her mind, simply gently delivering the message. The Deity then disappeared while instantly reappearing outside of Elijah's door, he could sense the presence of the man within. Remembering to use the door this time rather than just appearing out of thin air in the same room as the hunter, he knocked.

“Because most of them look and act like hired muscle, not something I want to put in Strife’s head.” Chester explained. “You look kind and sweet, but have hidden talents. Besides, reports are that she’s been hanging out with humans and kept her cool. She may be the embodiment of strife, but she doesn’t explode on random strangers.”
“Just don’t stand to close to Chaos.” Lex offered as he moved towards the food. “She has a variety of reasons to ‘explode’ at him.”
Chester have his fellow horseman a sour look, then gave Ginny a reassuring smile.
“If she goes after anybody, it’s going to be me. And if that happens, you can hightail it out of there.”
As he munched on some food, Lex studied Ginny. Hints of a tragic past, working with humans, now dragged into one of Chaos’s schemes. This life hadn’t been all that kind to her.
“Despite my brother’s insistence, you are perfectly free to walk away.” Lex said, not quite in a comforting tone, but still seeming sincere. “Our family drama is not yours, and I wouldn’t blame you if you wanted no part of it.”

Ginny smiles a bit at Lex. It’s kind of him to remind her that she has a choice in what jobs she goes on. But she’s already thinking about how she might just be able to help with this.

“Okay… I’m willing to help, but can we talk to someone else about this? Again, I have no authority in the colony, and I don’t want anyone to get mad at me.” She says. “Just in the event that this goes badly for the colony, I don’t want them to be unprepared.”
