Elijah arched an eyebrow at at Ashley-May's faux quandary regarding the Men (or Man) of Letters. He tried and failed to hide the smile that came easily to his face as she went to check on her patient, her movements as carefree and jubilant as ever. He marveled at Ash's ability to lower the tension in any given situation, to put him at ease.

Eli had just placed a difficult decision before her -- one that could decide all their futures amidst all the other unknowns floating around -- and yet the woman had found it in her to cheer him rather than stressing over it all. He knew better than to think that Ashley-May was being frivolous or not taking things seriously -- just the opposite. As if to prove his point she turned to address him again and he nodded with a smile. "I will," he said quietly before standing up and blowing the woman a kiss playfully. The news was too big to ever hide from his partner, not that he would want to despite knowing what the man's position would likely be.

Chase gave a small shake of his head when Emile answered his question, he knew the other man wasn't happy about it but there was little that could be done. Vitae had to stand on it's own two feet and figure it's own crap out after the truth came out, before it could solidify everything with the wolves. The Alpha followed up with his own question mirroring Chase's. He paused in a moment of thought but simply shrugged, "Nothing to keep me around." If anything happened with these rogue wolves or the Men of Letters he'd just assume they'd give him a heads up, or call if he was needed. As they stepped through the parking area Chase pointed towards the Toyota SUV that was still parked in the same spot as he'd left it weeks ago, "Decided to bring it back with me now that I'm not chained to the campsite." He gave Emile a wink to let him know he was teasing. Yes, Chase had been barred from leaving the camp area at first but this seemed to degrade over time spent with them. Whether Emile would have let him leave or not he couldn't be sure, not that he'd wanted to. But now with the Vitae business ongoing and the pack traveling back and forth it made sense to take the vehicle back into his possession rather than riding with others. Chase glanced at his phone momentarily taking in Elijah's response to his text before moving closer to the vehicle, turning around and walking backwards while he spoke. "You riding with, or did you drive here?"

Thor listened attentively, the Ambrosia would either be a powerful poison or it would greatly strengthen him. As Abiageal discussed the price he pondered how it would affect him, if Hypnos agreed to provide some for him. Given that he had the grace of an angel mixed with his divine spirit he hoped he'd be able to survive any possible poison, but more importantly this was a time of need, if this would allow him to tangle with ancient vampires such as those in New Orleans he would do it. The killer needed to be stopped as soon as possible.

Emile regarded the Toyota SUV with mild amusement, recalling their first meeting. He glanced to Chase as the younger suggested he drove and he shook his head. "Non, I came wit Malcolm." He glanced back to the colony, Malcolm's truck was still parked here so he simply assumed he was visiting friends or possibly attempting to see his daughter again. He looked back to Chase with rueful smile as he headed the direction of the younger wolf's vehicle. "You clean out the clothes yet?" He inquired. "Or I steal more of your pants today?"

Ashley-May playfully caught the blown kiss and pocketed it, giving the man a playful wink as she watched him walk out the door. She had been putting on a brave face - Elijah hadn't told her the circumstances of just how he had come to America but she knew it hadn't been pleasant and it certainly had involved his family. Her own situation terrified her; she had thought she had just found the light at the end of the tunnel, that the path had finally cleared and now this. Of course it was what she wanted but she felt torn between duty to accept and help people that needed it and the necessity to decline to keep other safe from harms way: Mur.

With Elijah gone she stepped into the back of the Clinic to check on Arthur.

Chase snorted in mild amusement at the other mans comments about the night they'd first met, whilst he unlocked the vehicle and slipped behind the steering wheel. The small language barrier prevented Emile from realizing just how dirty of a comment he made, or at least it was to someone with a mind like Chase's. "That a threat or a promise?" He shot back with a humored smirk, the moment Emile climbed into the passenger seat. "I can't help but wonder if I was the first to have his pants stolen by you." He commented as he reversed out of the parking spot, and started driving towards the exit to the colony. "Or if that's just how you pick guys up."

Hypnos seemed to ponder for a moment. “ The last time anyone stole something from Olympus the consequences were dire as you may recall, and I’ve never been on Zeus’s good side. Even if he is missing his lighting bolt his power far exceeds mine. If you can provide me with something that would... appease his anger I will get you a meals worth of Ambrosia.” Hypnos said as his form began to flicker. Even now his power was being used to soothe the First Sin.

And with that, she was at a stand-still. There was no way she was going to help Hypnos empower Zeus. The Greek God of Gods, and the biggest dick of them all. "What if I instead freed Pan, would that be of value to you?" she was hoping. (Sorry for the delay guys, my depression is at an all-time-high)

Thor smiled at the comment, he knew full well that Abiageal despised Zeus, he figured Solomon wouldn't be too happy with losing Pan. But then the sorcerer probably had at least considered to bind him, so he wouldn't feel too bad about it. He'd just have to make up for it, finding a suitable demon for him to bind or something along those lines, to prevent him from stupidly attempting to bind the Thundergod.

Hypnos thought for a moment, “ in all truth having Pan bound has been a boon. I’d rather not think of what that Satyr would have gotten up to, and I’d rather not risk something happening to such a powerful asset against the Sin as the scion of Solomon. “ Hypnos went back to thinking. “If you truly have nothing else I suppose having such a wild card on the loose wouldn’t be a bad thing.... Ah! Your pantheon has something similar to the garden of Hesperides yes? Since Zeus lost his lighting bolt Landon hasn’t let any of the Gods approach. Grant me to your equivalent and I can definitely get you the Ambrosia.”

She looked to Thor, having realized that Iðunn's apples alone could have restored his power. She looked back to the poppy and smiled, "Thank you hypnos, but I'll have to think about it..." And with that, she severed the mental connection to the God of Dreams. She turned to Thor once more, "I had completely forgotten about Iðunn's fruit. Though, does she still harvest with Odin having passed away?"

Thor's eyebrows narrowed as he thought "She does, but their potency have been somewhat... Diminished. She, like the rest of us, is not as strong as she used to be. And Odin's magic can no longer nurture them. I reckon it would strengthen me, but not restore me. I guess it's worth it, wouldn't harm me."

Emile had attempted to play it cool as Chased went on about his pants thieving, giving the younger wolf a hard look as he questioned whether or not it was a promise to steal more. However he soon lost his composure as Chase questioned if this was his typical method for picking guys up - stealing clothing (pants specifically). He snorted with laughter, unable to speak for several moments before he managed to choke out. "Oui, yes of course." He wiped the tears away from his eyes. "You found me out. That is how I find my boyfriends: I wait until they are not looking and steal their pants." He burst into laughter a second time as a mental image came to mind - one that he couldn't help sharing with Chase. "You were easy, you took them off. Others ... bien oui, harder to get when they are wearing them."

Abiagael looked at Thor and her smile grew wider. She'd be taught by Odin in her dreams about magicks and witchcraft, she was also a natural witch who derived her power from nature itself. "I can assist in that, surely." she walked over and entered her tent which appeared as a simple, medium-sized tent made of goat's skin on the outside, but on the inside, it was a nordic-long house with multiple levels and plenty of room for several people, if they were so invited. Abiagael made her way up the wooden stairs and went towards a book-shelf on a nearby wall and began scouring for any info on the Goddess' apples. "The only question is, how do we get there."

530014626.jpg

Chase grinned as the other man's laughter filled the SUV, up until the man mentioned. Chase's mouth gaped in mild surprise but the smiling continued whilst keeping his eyes on the road. "Oh, so I'm easy now?" He nodded his head at his own question, "Okay. You might just be back on the couch after-all." He mused, keeping his eyes ahead as they went through the gates and onto the open road. It was all in good fun though he wasn't going to let Emile get away clean for that comment. "You were naked first as I recall, and I didn't even know you existed. So what does that make you?"

Thor laughed, the tent would probably have marvelled many, but he had been there before and had seen far stranger things over the eons he had existed "You stand in the presence of the King of Asgard and you ask how we get there? Don't worry on that account. I am more than capable ofgetting us there, the main issue would be the risk of running into one of my enemies, but if we work together I'm sure we could manage. We would have to be quick though, and avoid drawing attention to ourselves."

Emile raised a quizzical eyebrow as Chase suggested he may actually be sleeping on the couch, though his grin never faded all the while. He was in a rare mood and he felt it. While typically he was juvalent the past two weeks had been drawing on his emotions. He had done his best not to let it get to him, or at least show in front of the pack members but Chase was another creature all together. Like Morgan, the younger wolf was part of his family unit, someone he trusted and felt comfortable expressing how he truly felt - for better or worse. Now that the night had come and gone, and the Council this morning were working out just how to include the Pack, Borseti and the Nest in their future plans he felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders.

His grin didn't dissipate as Chase lead into accusing him of perverse in some way but Emile was quick to counter him. "You blame me because you are bad at being un loup?" He still watched the younger wolf as he continued. "Et plus, I not magical. How you say, like the movie where the wolf change and alway have pants?" He paused. "Maybe that should be your job now? Eh? Follow me and carry pant so I don't take yours?"

Evelyn set down the receiver of her phone after she finished speaking with Arthur. It seemed he was taken in and recovering; Brendan had given a brief report as to what was occuring within the Colony, and without and it seemed things there were begining to stabliize. The fact that the northern Pack had decided to align with the Colony, or vice versa - Arthur had not been clear on this - was a surprise. She would have expected the pack being destroyed and the colonist suffering massive losses. These factors were both a positive and a negative to her mission statement. There were plenty of assets to collect within the Colony but the active presence of Pagan Gods was more than a little troublesome.

Their prototype 'Finis Deorum' was near completion and at the very least the Colony provided many targets to test. She finished off her notes before paging her secretary. "Please have subject: 111 prepped for questioning immediately."

Michael stepped throught he conference rooms doors followed by his dual aides. "Thank you all for meeting me this morning on such short notice." he said to the full room. He had requested the members of the board to meet him this today to discuss the progress of their plans. His aides circled the table, handing out ledgers printed specifially to what he wished to speak on. "Project Eden is doing well, we have just scratched the surface of potential in Arizona and should be yeilding within the next quarter." There was a murmur among the board members as they reviewed the documents provided.

"Enclosed you will find Minotaur's projects for the next two years; we have a lot coming and so we're going to need everyone on board." He said, leaning over the table and looking over each of them slowly. "Now I know we've had trying experiences as of late but I am certain we will pull together and not let our benefactor down." He paused, lifting a hand to the door. "No I'd like to introduce to you one of our newest partners, Murehuanon." Once more the seated board members murmured; Mur was a known entity to them. "His legions will be working 'round the clock to find our assets: it will be up to you to make sure they are acquired efficiently."

Chase nearly couldn't believe what he was hearing, head shaking as they continued down the road. All the teasing blows were just digging Emile deeper, this time telling him he hadn't known how to be a Wolf. The Alpha continued on to reference a movie that was nearly embarrassing to know that the man had seen, followed by another jab. "You must really like that couch." He remarked with a side-long glance, "The only job I've got is keeping your butt out of trouble, not in a pair of jeans."

Emile eye'd the younger wolf still grinning; while he certainly missed a great deal of his boyfriend sarcasm he hadn't missed this: "So you don't care if I have no pants?" He asked, giving a nod to the pack member keeping an eye on the outer edge of where they were currently residing. He turned his attention back to Chase as he furthered the vehicle through the gravel roads towards the center and where their cabin was located.

Arthur smiled polietly as Ashley-May throughly checked his vitals and filled in his chart all while she made idle, allbeit bubbly chit-chat. He answered pleasantly, when he could, as the blond went on about the Colony, its people and their plight. She was certainly a wonder to him: a Host carrying a Nephilim that some how was granted her life by Heaven. He knew better than to think it was as simple as that. Heaven clearly had a use for this woman, or her child, and what ever that use was was of great interest to the Men of Letters.

"Brendan tells me you're expecting." For the first time within her presence he watched her smile fade, a worried look filling her eyes before the facade returned.

"Too soon," her bubbly nature returned and she smiled as she pressed a palm to her abdomen. "But his father and I are ready for the challenge."

It was Arthur's turn to frown, momentarily confused at the mention of the father - he would have assumed the angel was long gone, or destroyed by Heaven. The fact that he was still present and possibly within the colony only cemented his belief of her future uses to Heaven - and the additional difficulty it would be to extract her. "Well I wish you both the best." He waved away her attempted to prevent him from rising, despite his body protesting the motion as he swung his legs over the edge of the medical cot. "If you would please direct me to the Research Library; I have been instructed by my superiors to provide some information to a fellow associate..." He paused as she clearly wasn't bemused by his statement.

Arthur cleared his throat. "Dear Misses Branston, I am certain you are aware of the nature of how I arrived here; you are a hunter yourself and I wouldn't begin to assume what knowledge you do or do not have. Unlike hunters, whom are self employed, you'd say, I work for an association. I have an employer and a boss, a hard ass at that, and she left my explicit instructions to bring information to an associate of ours who just happens to be within your Colony." He stepped gingerly onto the floor, hand held on the cot behind him. "I assure you, Miss, I will return to your care once I have fulfilled my requirements."

Akemi growled as the silver plated iron door to her cell swung opened pouring light from the corridor into the dark room. Her golden eyes glowed as her guard stepped into the doorway and cast as shadow over her. "Time to get up." He grumbled in his British lit as he stepped forward. Six months, nineteen day and four hours she had been trapped and caged within the Men of Letters base of operations; which one had been hard to tell given the varing accents and dialects she had been exposed to but after recounting and surveying the majority had a British accent, faint or otherwise, which meant she was within none other than the London Chapter House.

She did not move from her cot more than to sit up along its edge with her feet firmly planted on the floor. The collar around her neck - a Men of Letter specialty, prodded and seared her flesh if she moved too far one way or another within the small well. "Brimley wants to have a chat with you today," he went on as he approached in a rather casual affair, leaning past her to release the chains that held her collar. "It seems your Master might be a problem for us and you, my sweet, will be of great assistance to us." She fisted her hands within the metal gloves she bore - a secondary precautionary items the Men of Letters had added to couple with the collar. She rose from the cot and followed silently behind the guard as he prattled on about what she should expect from Brimley: there was a reason she had risen to the top.

Murehuanon regarded those within the board room coolly, many of them other worldly creature: vampires, werewolves and the like. Those that were human would not be much longer; he had already made a deal with the Chairman and CEO on just how things were going to be run moving forward. "You have have been a poor example of what the First Sin has expected of his masses." He held his hands behind his back as he paced forward, nodding to Vahncry as she stepped into the room, her Hellhound's following. "But that changes today. Our Lord has blessed onto his Oracle the names and places of the Earth Seals - Within the brochures Michael has presented to you are our individual lists. You will pour all of your body and soul into getting what our Lord wants and as quickly as possible."

Beneath the feet of those human board member pools the familiar black smoke of his demon minions. He watched as they snaked their way up the legs and bodies of their intended victims; by the time the first of the humans noticed something was out of place it was too late. Smoke dove into the orifices of their hosts, filling them before disappearing entirely. New sets of black eyes regarded him and he continued. "Should anyone fail to do as we demand will take it up with Vahncry personally" he paused, regarding the room. "Any questions?"

After her explanation, Ginny politely excuses herself from the conversation with Da Ji, and goes looking for Will, since he’s currently the only one who knows about her status as Hypnos’s Oracle. After asking a few people, she heads toward the clinic house.

Chase knew that Emile was teasing him, as they went around in circles with said teasing. Emile was far more comfortable and used to the consistent nudity in the open and around others than Chase was, and the Alpha knew it. "It'd be just like every other day." The man commented as he slowed the SUV to a stop alongside the cabin, then parked. Once the engine was off he turned slightly in his seat, "This whole pants kink thing you've got going is really amusing though, I can't tell what you get off on more. Wearing pants, wearing my pants, not wearing pants, or the thought of me wearing yours." Giving the passenger a smug wink before Chase slipped out of the SUV and raised his arms to stretch. Mid-stretch he considered going for a run, but as if to dissuade him from the thought he stretched far enough to get a pang from his sore ribs. Whilst they were in far better shape than the night before, joyride's weren't exactly smiled upon for the time being. Moving around to the front of the cabin he ascended the stairs and took a seat on the porch with a small relieved huff.

Emile stepped out of the car with a shake of his head, musing pleasantly at Chase's conclusion to their conversation. It amazed him just a little at how well the pair of them had grown so close; enough to banter about nothing and both annoy and amuse one another. He had to chalk it up to stressful times making it easier to connect to someone rather than in conventional means. He closed the door behind him, about to suggest a run before preparing for Mackenzie and Will's arrival but noticed the younger wolf's wince after he stretched. Of course shifting would be painful, too painful, but he didn't doubt that the man would go along with it if Emile suggested. Instead he headed up the steps of the small cabin, giving Chase's shoulder a passing squeeze before stepping inside the unlocked cabin.

He paused on the inside of the doorway with a frown as he noted Morgan lounging on the couch staring at her phone. He hadn't missed her interest in the colony; she was alwats obsessed with something very human like. He couldnt blame her - they did have their merits. <You can go,> He said, the girls blue eyes turning to him. <Ask Brody to drive you there." He turned to the fridge and opened the door, reaching in blindly to get a couple of bottles of beer. <Tell him he needs to come back, his sister is coming to visit tonight and I want him here.>

Emile watched Morgan swiftly roll off the couch and bounch across the cabin towards him. She threw her arms over his shoulers and kissed his cheek in thanks before dashing out the front door and down the steps. He soon followed - but much slower - to see her wave at Chase before heading off to find Brody. He came to sit down next to his boyfriend, offering him a beer - it may be early but after everything that had happened, and what was still to come, he wanted to relax.

Mackenzie had grown queasy as she and Will talked and she ate; like earlier in the day she kept seeing images, hints of a vision or prophecy and the longer she resisted it the more she felt ill. She was almost thankful for Elijah's arrival; almost because it gave Will someone to focus his attention on when all she wanted was to be left alone but the news he brought wasn't the greatest. She did her best to focus on what the two were discussing; the Council asking him and Ash to join them but she knew she couldn't fight the vision any longer.

She excused herself from the table, moving the short distance to the couch of the Clinic house and laying down on it, her face burried beneath a fluffy decorative pillow.

Arthur managed to make his way out of the Clinic mostly unscathed; Ashley-May certainly had a sharp tongue despite her otherwise favorable features. He stepped out onto the porch and glanced around; she had been kind enough, within her tirade, to give him directions to the colony's "Library". He turned to his phone and dialed the number Brimley had provided him as he set out across the colony. As the phone was answered on the other end he spoke. "Solomon, I've just heard from Brimley and she's asked me to relay some information to you. Care to meet me in the colonies Research area?"

Will Looking.jpg Elijah 8.jpg

William had been all too happy to assist Mac in finding what food had been left at the Clinic House following Ashley-May and Elijah's double date with the wolves. As it turned out, there was more than enough... though as he saw Mackenzie's almost ravenous hunger, Will began to have doubts. He snacked on a few items himself, but was more than content to let his fiancee tuck into the meal on her own. His appetite had remained intact following his transformation to a Nephilim, but his physical hunger -- though not gone -- was greatly diminished. Still, his soul link with the woman across the table from him allowed him to derive all the fulfillment he needed as she sated her hunger.

Elijah had arrived minutes later and Will welcomed him inside. A brief discussion had followed, with Eli anxiously informing them both of the offers from Brendan. Eli immediately noted his partner's smile, knowing the man would take any opportunity he could to encourage him to join him on the Council. However, as fate would have it, it would be a discussion for another time.

Will felt something wrong with Mac long before he saw it -- a strange swirl of emotions and sensations transmitted by their bond. He paused mid-conversation, turning to look at his fiancee with a frown. He should have known as soon as she hadn't commented on the offer to Ashley-May that something was off, but now he knew for sure with a single look at her color-drained face. "Mac," he said, brow creased as she stumbled to the sofa. He followed her, kneeling down at her side and taking her hand. "What is it?" he asked softly, though with a growing urgency in his voice. "Tell me what's wrong, love."

Chase had closed his eyes and laid his head back against the chair once Emile had stepped past him and into the cabin. Moments later he heard someone exit and was greeted with a rather excited and happy Morgan. The younger woman always seemed generally in a good mood, but this was different. Chase's brow furrowed in amused confusion, but he returned the wave nonetheless as Morgan b-lined for somewhere else in the camp. The man turned his head to the Alpha now seated beside him in another of the chairs on the porch, arm outstretched and offering a beer. Admittedly his first thought was that it was early considering they'd just finished eating breakfast not too long ago.

But honestly, who was he to argue? Chase grabbed the offered beer then popped the cap off before turning it upwards for a sip, eyes wandering in the direction Morgan had fled to. "Been a while since I've seen her that excited, what did you say to her?" He asked curiously, turning his head back to peer at Emile.

Solomon looked up from his research when he heard his phone ring. The sorcerer sighed as he looked for his phone among the sprawling mess of notes and books, and after a moment he found it. Upon answering the phone he was surprised to hear Arthur wanting to meet and relay his requested information. Nonetheless Solomon was already gathering up the notes essential to his latest project of binding Thor and headed towards the library. “ Fine by me Arthur, but are you sure you’re well enough to be out and about?” Solomon already knew what his answer would be and sighed, “ Nevermind... I’ll see you shortly.” Solomon had made quite a bit of progress in the time he had been left alone. He had completed the outer ring of the array, and know it was a matter of figuring out the key rune and appropriate ley lines for the magic.

Emile sipped at the beer bottle in his hand after Chase had claimed his own; he glanced the way Morgan had gone with a slight smirk. "She go to play wit the humans." He knew the girl had a great deal of interest in the hunting colony from long before they had arrived but he had a nagging suspicion there was more too it. At this point, however, he didn't have the time to focus on Morgan and her interests, he had to trust she'd be cautious with who - or what- ever was distracting her. He paused for a moment, considering just how to approach his next topic with Chase; he didn't want to pressure the younger man but it needed to be dealt with.

He set his beer down on the edge of the arm of his chair before regarding the younger man. "We need to talk about Thomas."

Mackenzie waved Will off, keeping her eyes closed and face buried as she let the scene play out; much like the last 'vision' or prophecy she had been sent it was all encompassing. Not like the visions the god had provided, she was still fully aware of those around her, but her attention divided between the two realities. After a few minutes she sighed, turning onto her side to face Will and Eli. "Mur has found new allies." She wasn't certain how much about Mur Elijah had known and his relation to Ash but she went on. "He's teamed up with the First Sin, a demon name Vahncry and Minotaur Inc: our old friends from New York. Seems like the CEO of the company is in on it - Michael Hansen but I'm not sure how. Regardless they're going after the Seals as well: We're going to have to change our game plan."

She knew now that Addy couldn't go alone, not if there would be a chance of conflict.

Arthur wasn't surprised by Solomon's quick acceptance of the invitation, though he did give pause after the other man questioned his own health in the matter. It was soon brushed off - Solomon knew as well as he did; they were dedicated to the cause and any deviance from it was severely frowned upon. He made his way towards the Research Tent of the colony - something Ash had called the library but it was little more than a military tent. He was slightly dismayed until he stepped inside to see plenty of the colonists pouring over old texts and even transferring the information into what he could only assume was a database.
