"I like your answer" she said pleased "I would have to say that The Land Of stories By Chris Colfer is my favorite book, not even my favorite romance book could compare, it has everything I could ever want! Though I am a bit disappointed in the recent book, It will always be my favorite" she said as she got up snapped her fingers, it triggered her wings to disappear from sight. "The land of stories is also fantasy, the story line is so thrilling that no book could top it, well in my opinion anyway"

"Is that so? I guess I'll have to read it sometime." Graeme chuckled and began walking. "I have to say, my favorite series of books would be the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. I've read the entire series about five times, the story is amazing and honestly impresses me each time I read it again. I've always wondered what it would be like to be in their place..." Graeme sighed, "Anyway, where are we now? I haven't got a map or anything so I just sort of started wandering aimlessly."

Finding himself to be bored and wanting to actually talk to someone, Max nicked his thumb so a tiny amount of blood would come out over his right hand, and recited the phrase he'd been memorizing. "From life take my strife, from the earth you birth, come to me thy child, for I pray to the wild!" Immediately after uttering the last word, a blue glowing hex formed over his right hand, from which a tiny palm-sized rock golem rose from. Asking for it to find someone to talk to, the golem nodded it's small head, before jumping off the hand and running to find someone.


Expecting it to take awhile, Max was slightly shocked it had come back so quickly, and it seemed rather distressed. Following it, he was slightly confused once it stopped as to where this apparent person was, at least until the tiny golem eagerly pointed towards a pole. Looking upwards, Max saw a girl with some sort of tail on top of it, and got worried she might fall. "Um, could you get down from there Miss? You could fall off and get hurt, I could go get some help if your stuck." He suggested to the girl, while the tiny golem crawled up and sat on top of Max's head. @The Otaku Diaries

Tang looked up from his book after Hyotei smacked him lightly on the head with its jade colored tail. To pull his attention away from the book. "ouch, alright already i get it." Hyotei gave him a look that said 'don't try me' and Daydream dangled off Tang's head with another look that said 'we're here'. Tang gave a sigh as his two companions could be annoying at times. "why is it that both of you act like parents?" To this, the two 'demons' gave a mocking smile and proceeded to imitate things they'd seen parents do before. "sometimes i wonder if you guys really are intelligent." Tang groaned defeated. Daydream and Hyotei simply gave teasing grins.

I reluctantly pick up a plate and I look at the different foods in the cafeteria. "What...an amazing assortment of foods." I reluctantly pick up a plate and I look at the different foods in the cafeteria. "What...an amazing assortment of foods." It may not seem impressive to most people, but to me this is amazing because I've been eating...not so high class things, so this is a big step up. "Really? Wow... didn't expect to wander that much. I really need to work on my navigation again." Graeme chuckled at how lost he really was and scratched the back of his head. "Its been a while since I've been this lost to be perfectly honest. Normally I'm mapping things out, I guess I'm off my edge."

"I figured I'd have a roommate... he can wait. I'm rather famished myself... I haven't eaten since yesterday. Woops." Graeme glanced into his bag, looking for any possible food to find none. "It seems I've also ran out of snacks... lets go eat I guess."

"Ah, don't mind me," Jacob said, laying down on the branch, "Just enjoying the pond and the shade." He could tell that the boy was a little frustrated, maybe annoyed. "Just curious about why somebody would wander off this far on the first day. At least get a map," he chuckled at his own joke, "Say, what's your name? Might as well get to know each other." He said this despite staying in the cover of the tree, only a silhouette visible.

After following Ivy to the cafeteria Graeme bought himself a simple loaf of bread and a water. Walking over to where Ivy sat he joined her and ripped off a piece of bread, tossing it in his mouth. "So... this academy... I haven't really read up on it, but I'm curious as to what goes on here. I've heard a few rumors while I was making my way here, but rumors are just rumors, so I'd rather hear what's what from someone who's actually been here." Now for his mercenary instincts to kick in, gathering information. This had become something so natural to Graeme that he never noted when it sounded weird due to his line of work and its need to know basis.

"It's simple really, we learn how to use our abilities and decide what we want to do with ourselves, Pets are allowed, I learned that last year when my roommate had a pack of dogs, You can be out till curfew, which is 10:00 by the way" she thought for a second "No boys or girls allowed in the Opposite sex's rooms after 8:30, library closes at 9:00, Wear appropriate clothes, do not use your powers to harm others, Cafeteria closes at 9:25, no one allowed out of the academy into town without a permission slip"

So, he looked over to the cafeteria and said, "I'm gonna get something to eat, if you need me I'll be in the cafeteria." before walking over, the sound of his hooves clopping on the ground with every step. When he finally made it, Jen simply bought a salad with a steak on the side. He took his seat in what he liked to call the "four-legged section" since it was a large table with no seats that was meant for creatures such as Jen who couldn't sit in chairs and didn't have a human form. He silently ate, his ears twitching and turning at every little noise.

"Hmm... I see... what about friendly sparring matches... is there a way for something like that? Frankly I'd be okay if there wasn't but it would be much more convenient if there's something for that." This was another thing important to Graeme, in order for him to use his elemental swords, he had to keep practicing so that he has enough energy to use them.

Irona shook his head and gave a soft huff. His ears flicked with every sentence the male finished. "I'm Irona." The short brown-haired child said, leaning against a tree behind him. "And if you really want to know, I just like being in the forest." He stated, lying through his teeth. Well, it wasn't necessarily a lie as much as it was an overstatement. He liked the forest, but hated the feeling he got when he saw one. It was like a strong pull to go into the forest. He hated it.

Walking into the cafeteria Amaryllis noticed a centaur boy all alone at a table. Giggling to herself she bought herself a simple bag of chips and walked over to him, jumping onto the table beside him, and sitting. "Hey there ponyboy! I'm Amaryllis Gates, or as everyone else calls me, Emmy Gates! How's it goin?"

Jen's ears folded flat against his head as he was called pony. He gripped the steak knife in his hand a bit tighter in his hand as took a deep breath before saying, "Jen, don't call me ponyboy." he said as he looked over to her. He then decided to answer her question by saying, "I'm doing fine, how are you? Emmy was it?"

"I think there is a swordplay team that meet in the gym to spar, around 5:30 is when they usually meet" she said simply, sports wasn't exactly her thing but she tended to like guys who knew how to handle a sword, she actually hangs out there to write fantasy stories and studied the boy's techniques, let's be honest here, a guy with a sword was hot, but she kept those thoughts to herself. Now don't get her wrong, she isn't the type to fall for a sporty guy, she actually had more crushes on nerds than sporty guys. "You know where the gym is, correct?" she asked him, trying to abandon her thoughts that were mostly nonsense

"Yep, Emmy Gates! I'm doing pretty good, just being friendly is all!" Amaryllis giggled and ate some chips, "So Jen, what brings you here? To the academy I mean." Emmy kept her smile the entire time she spoke, she hadn't realized she accidently insulted Jen, but it wouldn't matter later anyway.

"I don't know where it is, but I'll find it eventually so no worries." Graeme chuckled, "Honestly I wouldn't ask if I didn't need to know if there was a thing like that but if I don't keep fit I can't use my magic so I don't have too much of a choice." Graeme pulled out his satchel and dumped the contents onto the table in front of him. A few notebooks, some scrolls, quills and bottles of ink, a knife, a compass, and a paper with an insignia on it that Graeme swiftly stuffed back into the bag. "I do a lot of research and writing so when I have to actually do something I tend to be grumpy."

"Farewell for now." Graeme waved as Ivy left and continued to eat his bread. Gathering his things back into his bag he began wandering the campus once more, this time headed toward the main office to get a map and whatever he needed for the academy. It wasn't long until he had done that and now wandered to his dorm, this time not getting lost. Walking in he noticed the room was rather large and it puzzled him. "Hmm... maybe my roommate is a bigger species?" Shrugging it off he stuffed his papers in a desk on the side of the room that was a bit more compact and stood in the middle of the room with his eyes closed and his hands in front of him, imagining a sword in his hands, practicing his stance. Sooner or later he was sure his roommate would show up.

She hopped off the gates, and in case you are wondering, how does she balance on such a thin place? Zyow is somewhat a cat, in human form. Her balance is definitely enhanced as a cat. English was her worst language and failed in writing, and reading it.

Tang looked to the cat-girl. "well for one, that book isn't in english. Its Summerian." He said reclaiming his book from her hands. "and I don't know why it's interesting, I just read to pass the time." Hyotei and Daydream both watched the conversation from the sidelines, not quite sure what to make of the girl.
