He nodded. He snapped his fingers "Sae, move it, we got customers to feed." Sae smiled "YES SIR!" They both went to the cart and continued cooking.

Maddy got back to work spending the next couple of hours treating patients some with her powers and others just like any other normal person would. She walked out of the hospital with a bag and had changed into her normal clothes. She was wearing black jeans and a red blouse. The one thing she wasn't wearing was the coat she always wore. She smoothed out the fur on her tail as she looked around for Joey.

The ramen cart was there with Sae and Joey working there. There was a bowl of ramen and an empty chair. "It's on the house." He said as he took off his apron. Maddy noticed that his red lantern ring was missing... and not only that, he had been working out.

She sat down in the chair, setting her bag down. She took the bowl of ramen, she did miss Joey's cooking. "Thank you. " She noticed the lantern ring was gone, she wondered what happened to it.

"It's been 5 months..." He said "I couldn't call for certain reasons. After what you said, I needed time alone." He poured a hot cup of Jasmine tea and gave it to her "I have been doing a lot of thinking."

"Simple... I began to realize. I have done more harm to you than good. Remember the first time we were in a battle together? I shot you through the chest to get to your mother. Then there was the time I turned you in to your mother. Then what happens? I don't even bother calling you, taking you out... I neglect you." He began cleaning up a dish.

The sea man wandered onto the surface, He disliked eating the fish from the ocean as they were his people so fish markets were his go to when he had a hungering for some fresh cold fish, "Pardon me, how long ago was this salmon caught?" The man running the stand went on and on for hours about the fish and William was happy that land dwellers loved fish just as he did, "I'll take that one next to the sea weed, it's about 8 of this lands currency." he payed and ate the entire thing in front of him.​

He sighed "Maddy, I've hurt you too much. and you're too forgiving." He pulled out a business card "This is a card for my therapist Dr. Smith. He can help you out... because... well..." He took out the wedding rings "I have decided to break up with you."

(Which coast to be specific? Most of the characters are in Utah.)
