It had been 5 months since Joey disappeared. Not a single trace was found. Over the course of his disappearance crime activity continued, but nothing too astonishing. The city of Edgewood began to expand into a more sprawling metropolitan vicinity. A more bustling city. Joey's house was sold off. A new product appeared on the market. Ultra Male, a pill supplement that boosted testosterone levels. Part of the advertising included Kraven the Hunter breaking out of a jail cell after taking the pills on billboards. The marketing for the product grew to include others from villains and heroes alike. The population of Edgewood grew and slowly with it, so did crime. Few villains were able to perform their crimes without a hitch.
Everything seemed fine aside from one thing. A group of killers who call themselves The New Crusade have begun operating, slaughtering criminals and disappearing without leaving a footprint. Jacob and Susan had begun dipping their toes into the world of crime, taking over the former clan as new Yakuza. With the drug and weapons trade slowly growing in Edgewood and seeking to expand.

A new day dawns on Edgewood. It is lunch time now. The day seemed quiet. Perhaps today, everyone would be able to rest easy.

Allyson was in her basement as always working. She currently was in the process of building a larger lab in Edgewood. She noticed the rise in crime and had started working more with the hero league. Maddy had mostly been gone from the house since Joey's disappearence occasionally checking in with Eris, Allyson and the others.

"Im thinking at least two floors. I want to work on alot bigger projects, plus I sure if anyone wants to work on thier own stuff they can. Mostly so people can stop breaking my stuff." She said.

A small ramen cart pulled up to the hospital Maddy worked at. Customers began lining up to the point where the line was nearly 3 blocks long.

Maddy was sitting outside on a nearby bench, in her uniform. She was on break, she still worked at the hospital but when she wasn't she was going on missions for the hero league, it helped take her mind off Joey and everything else that had happened 5months prior. She saw the ramen cart and smiled a bit thinking of Joey. She shook her head getting that thought out of her head.

He sighed "ill get to work on it"

"Is something wrong Thor? You know you don't have to help me with this" she said

When she looked at the ramen cart, she saw Sae cooking ramen along with Joey. He immediately shouted at her in Japanese and smacked her on top of the head with a bible screaming "BAKA!" He continued to shout at her more in his home language before pushing her to the side and serving multiple bowls of ramen with incredible finesse.

"Then what exactly would be the point of a highly advanced and sentient war machine that has free will but still helps his friend that he has feelings for?" He asked

He continued to shout at her more in his home language before pushing her to the side and serving multiple bowls of ramen with incredible finesse.

"Joey.." she said to herself in surprise. She stood up and was about to take a step towards the cart but stopped herself. He probably didn't want to see her. He had disappeared for 5 months without a word. Why would he want to see her now. She headed back inside the hospital, she should get back to work.

He had disappeared for 5 months without a word. Why would he want to see her now. She headed back inside the hospital, she should get back to work.

Thor ejected Allyson from the basement so he could get to work

"Shit." Joey said as he put out a cigarette. He immediately ran after Maddy into the hospital "Maddy! Wait up we need to talk!" Sae immediately hit a switch and the roof of the cart got bigger providing more shade.

Sae teleported in front of Maddy "Makoto, she's walking away from you, why do you try?" She said as she looked at Maddy's face "He hurt you after all." She put a hand on Maddy's shoulder, doing her best to comfort her.

"You know I was planning on just building the new lab in the town not add to this one so why take over my basement." She said.

Eris is enjoying a spa day after spending part of the last five months studying alternating between training and relaxing.
"Ahhhhh. Nothing like a well-earned day of treating myself."

Tyson has just finished collecting a bounty and is eating lunch at a buffet. He had spent the past five months training and is just now getting back into the hunt.
