I honestly have been wondering if I really should throw in a new character into the mix of things, perhaps somebody from the actual main Smash Bros. cast. I've yet to really have anybody that fits in that specific role and aside from that very brief period of time that I've roleplayed as Daisy, I don't think I've got anybody aside from 'side characters'.

The player that has Daisy hasn't posted in a few months and I'm willing to consider them ghosted at this point. Would you like to take over as Daisy? Not much has happened with her so it shouldn't be hard to jump back in and get you caught up to speed. She's in a group with Ike, Toon Link, and Mewtwo.

That I'm a little concerned about, I will admit. I do like the idea of giving Daisy a shot yet again, but the nature of the fact that she was claimed by someone else even if they had left before is a little concerning, if they do end up returning.

I'd say take it while it's available. This is probably the only instance Grumpy will allow another player to claim another player;s character.

With all of that in mind, you honestly do make a pretty valid statement there. I tend to worry a bit about things like this especially since I did leave you all before in a similar situation, even if Daisy did barely anything at that point. I also wouldn't say that I'm that familiar with roleplaying as her, and if anything this was more of me getting out of my comfort zone since I'm significantly more used to Peach but wanted to use this as an opportunity to try something new like with Annette originally. Either way, that does make things sound more reasonable for me to reclaim her.

To be honest, the reason I denied OoT Link being claimed before was because DarkLord wanted to take him, if memory served, and as they already had a ton of characters they didn't use and the lack of quality in their posts with the characters they did use, I wasn't keen on the idea. If you wanted to take up OoT Link as a secondary character alongside Captain Falcon, however, I'm totally fine with that.

Ike, Toon Link, Daisy, and Mewtwo are at a tropical beach on the western region of the Realm. The group met up at Cranky Kong's cabin where he informed the party of Lunaris and the Pillars of Creation and Destruction.

Peach's player had left the game a while back as well, if you'd rather pick up Peach. She is at the Lake Shore where the PCs there are doing battle with a corrupted Rayquaza. Currently, the party is Zelda (ALttP/SSBU), Dark Pit, Marth, Link (BotW), Peach, Corrin (F), Pikachu, and Samus. Corrin, Marth, Link, and Samus's players have ghosted so I've been playing them as NPCs, and I had plans to remove Peach from the scene and set things up for a new Peach player to start fresh should another join. If you'd rather pick up Peach, however, I can help you get up to speed with her as well.

Alright, thanks for the info! I think I've already got an idea for Daisy at least at this moment, and I can absolutely imagine that now that she's being thrusted into a situation where she has been outlawed as an individual and has to save the realm, things can be pretty exciting for her, especially since she can finally get out and have the fun all of her other friends seemed to have had while she was stuck in her own kingdom.
As for Peach, I want to say thanks for letting me know that she's available, but I'll have to decline for now. Not only would she be my third Mario character here but one that is pretty darn similar to one I'm choosing to roleplay as, and I don't want to immediately scoop up another character when I just started to grab another.

No rush on any characters involved with mine rn tbh. I had a bit of a medical emergency pop up in the middle of the night so I probably won’t be in any shape to write for a short bit anyways. He is definitely a cat person if his possession of a Persian in the RP is anything to go by. He was never fond of dogs, even being fearful of them as a child, as they tend to become hostile when he's nearby. They can sense that something isn't right with him. It's why Stefan never had a service dog. Interestingly, nocturnal creatures such as Keese showed no hostility toward him.
Lol Isabelle suddenly starts growling, hackles raised, the moment she sees Lunaris. She is very appalled and confused by her behavior!
