Dgsjfhd but speaking of cults and religons, ong u have no idea how much I would love to see the absolute dumpster fire that a full on theological debate between all of the fighters would look like. realisticly they’d probably have enough of an awareness to know that hey, different universes = different gods but that just means they then get to fight over other petty things like who’s god is the strongest, most morally good, etc. etc.

I like to think Palutena sometimes has a Girl's Night Out with the Triforce Goddesses!

The whole theological debate has Pit about to throw hands but Palutena has to tell him to let it go. That is until someone says something particularly offensive after which Palutena, with eerie calmness, tells them that she has a history of disfiguring and casting into the Underworld those who anger her.

I always wonder, does Viridi not have any human worshippers? Are there no druids? The MMORPG player in me wants to design druid forms for Pit, as well as what a Paladin of Palutena might look like. Dragoon or Hunter class with armor based off Hewdraw, a Warlock with Underworld themes, or a Monk-class Pit who specializes in Pankration and carries a barrel of "Water" of Life. How would an Angel Rogue look? I really need more time to be able to sit down and draw!

Xbskafh Zelda over preps for the debate and plops down a hugeee stack of paper that outlines the complete history of the golden goddesses and from A-Z lists why she believes they are the ultimate supreme beings. She ends up basically giving a five hour speech and (mostly because everyone’s far too bored by the end of it) it seems like she’s about to win until…

Zelda: “-So that is why Nayru, Din, and Farore are without a doubt truly the perfect model of morality and goodness!”

Toon Link: “…” *Whispers into Zelda’s ear*

Zelda: “They did what!?“

Botw Link: “…” *Whispers into Zelda’s other ear*

Zelda: “I’M THE REINCARNATION OF WHO!?!?!“

And that’s how she learned about the goddess Hylia and the history of toon’s timeline

Byleth just sitting there as all the goddess talk is going on doing his best not to get involved because he doesn’t want to explain his whole situation, but someone is like “Byleth you teach at a Monastery, right? What about your goddess?” And he just quietly grumbles and says he doesn’t know much about the Goddess Sothis which only receives him some stares before someone blurts out “But aren’t you the next Archbishop???” To which he deadass stares at them says yes then proceeds to not elaborate any further leaving everyone confused except probably the others of divine status. Who knows they might be able to tell he’s hiding his real status

The Veteran Trio groan as soon as Zelda calls for the lights to be dimmed so she could make her presentation. As military folk, they know all too well the misery of Death by PowerPoint!

On the topics of gods/goddess I figured it be fun to show how my characters feel/view such a thing

Yoshi - Does not care/little understanding. Likely respects them, but does not worship and/or follow any
Joker - Big distaste. Has killed a god, and would probably do it again if he had to. Very wary around deities, but holds himself back from telling others how they should view such things
Panther - Not as big of a distaste as Joker, but still not overly fond of it. She's more willing to accept the idea than he is, but is still wary. She did help kill a god after all
Pyra / Mythra - Basically children of a god. They dislike the power of such and the destruction it brings, but aren't really bothered by the whole god/goddess thing
Sora / Roxas - Have met gods, but don't really think anything about such things. Sora is overall kind and polite towards the idea, while Roxas is probably a bit more resistant, but ultimately doesn't care that much as long as they leave him be
Byleth - Quite literally is the goddess. Dislikes it and prefers not to speak of it to avoid people using him for said power. He doesn't like being worshipped over it and hates the attention it brings. Basically has forced him to go from a life not knowing about the following of Serios to being appointed the next in line to become the Archbishop. He still respects other gods/goddess to some extent, though likely would find great distaste towards those that abuse/misuse their powers and/or status

How the god debate goes from silly and maybe a bit tense, to wholesome in a second:

Pittoo: Tch! Why are you so insistent on defending the gods? You’re worse than Pit! What good have they done for you?

Zelda: Hmm... Well, they created you and Pit!

Pittoo: ... You know the Underworld Army created me to be their “Angel of Death,” right?

Zelda: Even so, it’s still the greatest good they’ve ever done! I’m very happy I met you, and to have you as a friend!

But also P3 made me think of how crazy people would see Joker as if he had the persona summoning method of that game. Can't imagine many of the Smash Bros would like Joker constantly putting a gun to his head, even if it is fake and made specifically for summoning a persona

I'm still entertained by the idea of Dark Pit being wrapped in a bird burrito and strapped to one of the seats in Samus's ship. It's never even explained how, exactly, the Smash Sisters were able to do that to him. Samus tells Pittoo that he's coming with them, he responds negatively and separates his bow to fight, then there's a jump cut to him already strapped to the chair and seething! XD

The Minato mii actually has an Evoker and somehow summons a persona and Joker sees it and is immediately intrigued. Someone please make sure he steals the Evoker and doesn't use his own gun!

Do what you think is necessary. It doesn't have to be entirely true to how it is, especially given Sora's whole idea is for their attacks to combine into one powerful burst of thunder. So it could just be accurate because it has combined with both Sora and Pichu's own electrical attacks
