For my post I debated with myself on whether or not it's reasonable and in-character for Pit to know what to do in regards to a PTSD flashback attack. In the end, I decided, "Meh, why not?" He's an army commander and a veteran warrior, so he's seen some shit. An angel guides and protects, and that's pretty much what he's trying to do with Mythra, and he's consistently shown in Uprising to be very kind and compassionate. I can see Palutena having to help Pit out from similar situations and he may have learned from her. Why not?

I feel like it’s fitting for Pit and doesn’t feel ooc for him imo

The manual of Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters states that Pit takes his job as protector of Palutena and peace keeper of Angel Land very seriously. He's got to be prepared! He probably was one of those putti that liked jumping into hot spring pools too deep for him lol

D'aww, now I just pictured some putti trying to fly up into the trees, but they don't get very far, cling to the trunk, and cry because they're too scared to come down on their own, even though they're two feet off the ground!

Another headcanon I have is that Pit has a bit of a green thumb and has experience with farming and handling animals. There's no 4th Wall, and not every player got the best ending in the original NES game! I've entertained the thought of him having his own personal little garden near Palutena's temple, and growing some vegetables using saved vegetable seeds and scraps from the kitchen, and later learning that some of those veggies used to be the ones Palutena accidentally brought to life! The potion had seeped so far into those veggies that it wasn't washed off completely, and even got into the seeds. So, one could imagine Pit's surprise when, while watering his garden, some of the vegetables suddenly had eyes and called him papa!

They still hate Palutena though.

Palutena goes into Pit's garden to enjoy the smell of the herbs he's been growing. She finds a potted cherry tomato plant and reaches out to pluck one, and freaks out when all the little tomatoes start crying like infants!

I love the Japanese version of Revolting Dinner because of Pit, with a straight face, telling Palutena that she needs to leave cooking to someone who knows what they're doing, and Palutena cheerfully responding that if she messes up she'll just feed the failed dish to the Centurions. Forget the pizza and donuts, Pit casually asking Palutena if she's failed cooking yet is funnier to me, because of the implication that such failures are a common occurrence, and the gonads it takes to ask a deity something like that!

I hope we get a moment of folks trying Mythra's cooking, just because I want Pit to be able to respond with something along the lines of, "It reminds me of home!" XD

Hmm, the Smash Bros. becoming farmers? Will they have to do Friendship/Relationship Heart grinding side-quests too, like in Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley?

The real question is who on the Smash Roster would be farmers?

Twilight Princess/Brawl/Smash 4 Link probably has the most experience out of the roster. I think all the Links would find farming appealing.

If we go by my headcanon, both Pits would be competent at it. Dark Pit might have learned some things after spending time with the Forces of Nature. They compete with each other to grow the biggest vegetable or the prettiest flowers! Palutena can provide the light that makes the plants grow. That's what she does in Angel Land!

I can easily see the Pokemon watching or helping the other Smash Brothers with the farm work.

Kirby tending to a tiny sprout is an adorable mental image!

I think Samus would find some peace and happiness in growing and tending to something for once. I can see her, Zelda, Meta Knight, and a few others being into bonsai. Though I think it'd be kind of funny in a horrible way if she just can't keep plants alive, even when she does everything right!

Peach, for sure, would love vegetable gardening!

I think Yoshi would be more interested in eating the produce than farming it! But what if he gives hay rides instead or pulls a tiller?

I pictured Captain Falcon using a Falcon Punch to punch a huge hole in the ground, just to drop the tiniest seed into it.

Everyone is envious of Villager's ability to grow entire fruit trees in a matter of days!

Out of my characters, I personally think Byleth is the most fit to be farmer. He does learn some stuff given he has to grow crops and various other things to feed his army, though it's in a more controlled environment than in actual fields. He would probably enjoy it greatly though

Joker maybe would have an interest in it, albeit I can see him being more interested in growing coffee beans and things like that. He can embrace being from the countryside a little though maybe Ann would prefer if he doesn't lmao

Yoshi definitely would be trying to eat everything, though maybe he helps pull the plows and such lol

My art and writing "thinking spheres" sometimes clash with each other or become a more primary focus for a bit.

An AU where Pit is a farmer instead of Captain of the Royal Guard is one I'd be interested in seeing. There'd be a bit of irony in Pit fighting off Underworld monsters with a scythe!

I just had this idea of the Smash Sisters bumping into Dark Pit at the Lake. Dark Pit, being as individualistic as he is, doesn't care to join the group and wants to go his own way. The Smash Sisters, concerned about what may result by letting Pittoo go off on his own (capture/death by Lunaris or worse, he joins him), try to convince him to stay, but when he refuses to they resort to drastic measures: using a thick blanket to wrap him up in a bird burrito so he can't move!

Zelda: Dark Pit, Peach is going to bring you dinner. Please promise me you won't try to bite her this time?
