Soooo.... he’s a torch? Cus I work with bombs and them bitches do not melt metal. It’s a couple things with Adam;

1) it’s more accurate to say he’s an assassin than a terrorist, his focus has mostly been on precision over destruction except under duress. He’s upset that he was sloppy

2) He has always made every attempt to avoid unnecessary human collateral except with Angels home, and internally there’s a struggle within him as he tries to understand how he got to this point where he made this compromise with his own morals, twisted though they may be

3) he has a heart, even if it’s grinch proportioned; his heart is telling him that Maria and Angels family have done absolutely nothing to wrong him. Did Maria stand by and watch everything go down IC, sure. But that doesn’t mean she deserved to get buried alive, and that goes double for Angels family

So yeah, he does regret endangering those who did nothing to him, but he’s also mad cus he was sloppy and he is confused about what drove him to this path. The house itself was mostly irrelevant to him
