Florian doesn't have issues with his parents. They just always wore masks when he was around and kept changing their aliases. He wasn't even exactly sure which robed, masked figure was dad or mom. Then, they left saying, "We'll see you at the top son and don't let your sister become a criminal." They still send money and postcards though.
