Yeah, perhaps. RPs tend to start out a little chaotic, but I'm pretty sure we can ride out what's going on right now. I'm not really sure what Astral's character is gonna do, but I feel like something the guards do can get them to cooperate? Then things will be more controlled and we can continue with the intro The Dark Creator planned.
 
If something was up with the post, why sit in silence? I literally made a freelance character, in fact I wasn't sure about the first post i made, and thus figured maybe that I shouldn't post. If no one says anything, how can everyone get anything done? O.o

I was mainly referring to everyone's reactions to your first post, which as you pointed out, seemed like it'd be a normal occurrence. Everyone started acting like this was the big containment breach, which is kind of silly

Heheheheh... Its no problem i guess... Misunderstandings happen. I deleted my second post and i'm about to edit my first one so, I'll let everyone post along because i need to know whats what before I can join in properly. XD

Eh... waking up to pellet shots and yelling is unnerving even if it's not strictly speaking an emergency scenario. I'd give people some slack for having their characters be a little jumpy.

Still, BB guns are nowhere near as loud as live-ammo ones, as I mentioned earlier. I admit I've never heard one fired, but from what I know I doubt it would've been heard too far into the complex, especially loud enough to wake people up.

Live ammo guns are absolutely DEAFENING. Even a smaller sort of thing would still be clearly heard several feet away.

It occurs to me that I may be misimagining the setup the kids have. I thought it was several adjacent cell-like rooms, probably no more than a few yards apart. From that distance, you could probably even hear someone talking.
Were the rooms supposed to be out-of-earshot from each other? If that's the case, I may go back and rewrite my post :ghostl:

That was what I was imagining, yeah. Perhaps get confirmation from The Dark Creator The Dark Creator on that though, but I assumed that in a facility like this, every single character's cells being right next to each other would be an absolutely mind-blowing stroke of luck.

That was another thing I was a little confused about. Roughly how many kids are there in the facility? if there are like, hundreds, then that would be a little crazy, but if there's only a handful then it would make sense.

I assumed because this was a facility dedicated to containing anomalies, it'd make sense to have quite a lot of them. Again, though, we'll want The Dark Creator The Dark Creator to confirm or deny that.

Wellllll, Dark did mention that this facility was strictly for children, and we don't know if there's only a handful of them or lots. I, at first, thought it was closer to the former...
Although, if they made the decision to put all the anomaly-kids into their own separate site that would mean that there was enough to make a seperate site...
So... By that logic, it'd probably make sense if our characters weren't all clustered together? And it might be more interesting once the containment breach occurs, especially since our characters will have to navigate the facility to find each other...
 
Why i'm killing the RP
Typically when people (intentionally or not) take the rp into their own hands, things turn bad even when it's fixed. I wasn't really surprised when it happened, but when it's my first grp on rpn, it kinda got me scared of many things. If i was to fix it, there would be confusion to where we are and what's supposed to happen, and how i am currently i'm probably just going to explode if i try. So at the moment i have no other option but to just kill the rp.
If you really like the idea, and hate to see it go to waste so quickly, i'm totally fine with you guys taking the rp and starting up your own version of it. I'd actually love to have one of you try this. I have 1x1s if any of you guys are wanting to rp with me in general, but you probably wont see anything else serious on this from me

Alright. I'm honestly a little unsure as to why you think it's too out of control to save, but I respect that.

Is anyone else interested in continuing this? If we do, I think it would be best to reopen it and recruit some more folks.

I am! We could recruit a few more people, I suppose, but we don't want too many people so it doesn't get out of control again,,,
