I'd like to join. Just a simple question: in the description you said that the time period was the 1820's, but judging from the armaments of some of the characters and the general time period that most Westerns are set in, did you mean the 1870-80's?

Also, where is Blackwater located exactly (which territory or state)?

I know, but I hardly want to bully people over that. I love history, but considering this is historical fiction I don't actually give much thought to it. As long as people enjoy themselves. I mean, technically the Wild West didn't even start till 1860 but hey ho.

And I'd probably say Wyoming
As for that I tried to get the Native Indian right, but there's a lot of different clans so I did my best.

I know, but I hardly want to bully people over that. I love history, but considering this is historical fiction I don't actually give much thought to it. As long as people enjoy themselves. I mean, technically the Wild West didn't even start till 1860 but hey ho.

It really kind of sounds like you're wanting to turn this into a fantasy instead of a realistic.
