In the RP its the night before the day the pirates hijack the ship and the passengers get stranded.

I was thinking maybe the pirates could hijack the ship in the morning and the passengers still have a little time to get to know each other.
Or the three pirates could be posing as passengers on the ship already to assess how much money and 'loot' they could get as well as the ships weak points so they can interact with passengers, posting as one of them?

Will the individual pirates decide if they want to be on the cruise ship or not? Like maybe one or two wanted to scout ahead while the rest storm the ship in the morning?

yeah I was thinking that would be a good way for the story since that way the pirate characters can already interact with the passengers from the start without having to wait till the hijacking.
