I've started to read up on the CSs that are provided so far, and some look so good. God damn @Yuuki of the Strata I'm REALLY looking forward to interact with Venn. They will either get along amazingly, or really terribly. xD Also, I'm not sure if that's on purpose, but your signature still links to the old sS thread.

I was a foreign language major before I became an Asian Studies major. I took Spanish for three years in high school, to a German course at my first community college, took two years of Japanese and now I'm taking Mandarin as a language requirement for my Chinese concentration for my major. xD


I want to learn Korean, Standard Thai, an Arabic language, Russian and other business languages. xD

Aww thank you! I'm basically done, but the only problem I'm having is the URL links and the title of the song in the Extra Info. I thought I inserted the information and links in all the right places, but it's not showing up like it's supposed to. Do you think you can help me with that?

Alright, so I've started to read up on everyone's sheet who has everything or the majority filled out. Since I'm a person who's pretty needy for feedback, I figured I could share thoughts to pass time until this finally starts. (^.^)


Venn: I am really looking forward to see how he'll mash. I do enjoy an antagonist in roleplays that don't really call for 'em, and I think Venn would fit such a niche quite good, since he's a bit of a "hard to deal with" character, from what I'm reading. Maybe I perceive it wrong, but I feel like he's a bit of a dick, at least on the outside. I think that's pretty cool, honestly, people want to be edgy a lot, but unlike Venn, they give them too many traits along the lines of "But inside, he's really cool and nice, and you have to love him." But screw that, that's not realistic at all. Venn seems like a real person, with a few likable traits, but they don't feel forced onto me. So, overall, I'm really liking him, great job @Yuuki of the Strata


(I like Chas too already, just 'cause northern mythology and such purdy graphics make me a fan. also, I can't wait until @CTF adds music. I love his music taste)


Jonathan: He feels a little scattered to me, which I think is because he is supposed to be. I suppose that's good, but maybe he isn't supposed to me and it just feels that way. I would've really loved some additional paragraphs on personality, mostly because I feel like I do like him, but I'm not quite sure. Like, that little bit of uncertainty takes away from an overall VERY likable person IMO, which is unfortunate. Still, I do find him sympathetic and he, too, feels like a person you'd meet IRL, mostly because, in real life, you often encounter people who's personality doesn't feel as strong. Like, they are a little less strong and defined in who they are. Jonathan walks a good, very fine line of falling into that, without feeling incomplete or lazy. And that's pretty hard to do, I think, so well done!


Avalon: I REALLY like her. I have, like, three characters from other roleplays that are kind of like her as well. I absolutely love a good, extroverted, friendly and strong personality. These are so fun to play, especially when you can kind of push others - specifically the less social ones - to interact and infest them with your vigor. So I'm very much looking forward to interact with her. VERY much, actually. Also, @Semblance, I like the idea, though I prefer the customer relationship. I feel as if Chloe would not get a tattoo from a regular, as it would possibly taint the image of her workplace, which she fears.


Celine: I'm not quite sure how I feel about her to be honest. For one, and maybe this is my personal misunderstanding, I thought that, while paranormals as a species existed forever, the individuals themselves do not. Especially since all the paranormals now are more or less completely evolved off-springs of the originals. As such, they resemble humans quite a bit, right? So it feels a bit weird to read she's almost two hundred years old, to me, since I thought paranormals have developed into such human-esqe livings, they ARE essentially humans with their real species abilities. But, like I said, maybe I misunderstood. As for her personality and all, while I do like her, she feels... I mean, crap, I don't wanna be all snobby and act like I own that kind of character, but she feels unpleasently similar to Chloe in my personal opinion. In the grand scheme of things, that's only my problem and it's Yuuki's call whether this is cool or not, but I personally don't like too many similar characters.


Summer: It's still a very rough WIP, so I'm not gonna form too much of an opinion, but from what I read so far, apart from a couple of typos and scattered parts, I think I already grasped her personality and 'vibe' pretty well, and I do lean towards liking her.

And a customer relationship would be fine by me! They def wouldn't be close friends given Avalons personality, bc she doesn't have any close friends ahaha, but they could def be good acquaintances
