Spoiled little Rich Boy

"I think I should go and take a look what is going on.." Risa said as she walks across the hallways of the school campus and goes downstairs and then there, she saw a familiar figure right before Syrrus. Her eyes widened when she saw the familiar person. "Leyla....?" she said as she covered her mouth with her hands. The girl who used to follow her around all the time, the girl who was so clueless about the world, she right in front of the man she used to love.

She became silent and was watching from afar and couldn't help but stare at her beautiful figure.

"I- I thought you hated America?" Syrrus asked, carefully. Watching the tall woman who didn't stop smiling down at him. She reached her hand towards him, to help him up. Syrrus peered at it, that slender palm with those long fingers, which was suited to do something artistic, like playing a violin... He peered down at his violin, silently and slowly got up on his own feet, without anyone's help. "I underztand if you're angry wizh me." Leyla said, trying her best to continue looking happy. "I can underztand it."

Syrrus frowned slightly, holding his violin nervously with one hand as he watch the woman he loved and then looked away. It seemed like feelings dies hard. "I'm not mad with you, In fact, I understand why you rejected me. I would have done the same." Leyla tilted her head slightly, her blond hair bouncing up and down as she moved. "You are juzt az handzome az I remember..." She said, gently. Causing the man to twitch and to shuffle where he stood. Syrrus had never looked so nervous, never looked so out of place. He then noticed Risa. The colour on his cheeks vanished, he stopped looking like a lost little boy and his eyes widened. "Risa..." He mumbled and Leyla turned around in surprise when she saw her old friend. "Oh, Riza, Bonjour."

Risa was about to run away when Risa called out to her. She couldn't move away from her spot now since an old friend of hers is now in front of her. "Leyla, y-you've grown so much... she said, looking at her now mature and beautiful figure. She looked at Syrrus and somehow was hurt and looked away from him as she decided to smile at Leyla. "Last time I saw you, you were shorter and cute than me, and right now..." she said and sighed "...you turned into a goddess Leyla, you look absolutely beautiful." she said and hugged her friend.

For now, Risa remembered the good times she had with Leyla and cried after hugging her. "I've missed you so much Leyla...." she said softly and smiled up at the beautiful blonde woman.

"I have mizzed you too." Leyla said, smiling gently at her after the hug, stepping away she peered at Syrrus who didn't know what to do. He felt like fainting, or dying, either one would suit him fine because at least they would interrupt the awful situation he just had ended up in. He had to stop this from happening, he didn't know why Leyla was there, he had no clue about her intentions so he gestured towards Risa and without regret said: "Risa's my girlfriend."

The world seemed to stop. Leyla's expression was one of shock, but not sadness, more something to describe as complete disbelief. "Iz that zo? And how did you come to zhat term, hmh?" She didn't believe him. How dared she not to believe him?! He didn't believe himself either. Blasted woman and making himself feel as if he had no grip in reality what so ever.

Risa stopped crying when Syrrus told Leyla about their relationship. Risa blushed when he told her that, she was glad and was smiling but when she noticed something wrong with Syrrus' face, she was saddened by it. It looked like he shocked himself for saying that she was his girlfriend. 'But... he did told me he loved me back, right...?' she thought, studying his face and then she looks over at Leyla, who seemed to look she didn't believe what he just told her.

She looked down, feeling like she did something wrong for some reason as she backs away from Leyla and walks over to Syrrus. "Actually... y-yes, me and Syrrus are dating now, Leyla, isn't that great?" she asked her and smiled at Leyla, it's as if she was telling her that Syrrus was all hers now.

Syrrus blinked a few times. Trying to gather whatever manly hood and courage he had. Leyla has sucked everything out of him by simply being there and it terrified him something awful. Maybe she was a witch? If there was such a thing, she clearly would have been one. A beautiful and gorgeous witch... It wasn't until Risa backed up his relationship comment that he snapped out of his odd trance. He peered down at the girl who he had kissed, not too long ago. His sweetheart. Yes, that was exactly what she was.

Leyla blinked just as many times as Syrrus had, but seeing as Risa stated that they indeed were together, the French girl could do nothing but smile at them and she didn't even look sad. "Iz that zo? Well, congratulations then. To the both of you." It was hard to believe, which was why she took it with such a pinch of salt. Syrrus was a Casanova, his hearth belonged to beauty and not to one single person. This was why she had not accepted his heart once he had tried to give it to her.

Risa smiled back, glad that she accepted their relationship. "Thank you Leyla, it means a lot to me...." she said to her old friend. "Syrrus is my first boyfriend, and hopefully, my last as well." she added and turns to the handsome man and smiled at him while blushing. She then turned to the gorgeous blonde woman and tilted her head a bit and wore a confused face. "Leyla, just asking, are you going back here to study, or maybe... just a visit?" she asked her.

She had a hunch of why Leyla was here, or maybe she was just worried that she might steal Syrrus' heart back like from before. Syrrus seemed to still have lingering feelings for Leyla.

Shaking her head Leyla simply smiled at the both of them. "I am here with my huzband, he's working. I juzt thought I'd come by and zay hello." Leyla didn't study anymore, in fact she only worked weekends, her husband provided with everything a woman her age could need. Something that Syrrus never could provide. However, the fact that Risa sure was naive enough to believe that they would be together - possibly - forever made the young woman feel slightly bad for her.

Syrrus continued to stay quiet. He didn't wish to say a word, imagining in his head that all of this was a nightmare or an hallucination. He felt a strange pain in his stomach, it crawled his way up towards the heart, but he said nothing. No, he wouldn't say a word unless he had to.

"Oh your husband, right, I keep forgetting you are already married, haha sorry." Risa said as she was about to put her hands on Syrrus', she heard her phone ring. It was from the library, they needed her help with something. "Sorry guys, but can you excuse my for now, I need to go and get back to work, see you later." she said with her innocent smile and walks away from them and hurries back to the library.

((sorry it's short))

Syrrus wobbled a few steps after her but got stopped by long fingers curling around his wrists. Turning he peered into Leyla's eyes and felt himself melt away again. He wanted to go, walk, run, anything that could make him get back to his senses. "I mizz you." She said, whispering which caused him to feel his throat swell up and ache awfully. "I miss you to Leyla but I can't do this to Risa, so please let me go and go back to your husband."

Syrrus continued to walk and luckily Leyla did not follow him. "We're ztaying at the local hotel would you like to talk." Syrrus of course said nothing and Leyla continued: "You're going to break her heart zoner or later!"

Risa just had a meeting the with other librarians inside the meeting room of the library. She walked out of the room and sighed. She wondered what Leyla and Syrrus are doing right now together. "No... she has her husband with her, of course she wouldn't cheat on him, right?" she mumbled to herself softly and puts back her things in her bag and then goes straight to her next class.

School finally finished and Risa was just about to head home when she saw a group of girls talking about something big. "Oh yeah!I think I remember her, Leyla right? That foreign chick?" one of the girls said while the other one said "Yeah, isn't she like married now? I bet her husband is some old fart right? Haha. Well she is kind of a slut right?" and the girls laughed "Kinda? You mean she is a slut! Hahahaha." the girls continued to make fun of Leyla as Risa walks over to them and said. "Leyla isn't some slut! She is a nice and caring person here, she is even mature than you girls are. You don't even know her that much and you are talking about bad things to her, so stop it right now!" she said, trying to defend Leyla.

The group of girls got pissed and walks over to Risa and then ends up cornering her in the room. "Who do you think you are, trying to talk to us like that? Huh?" the girls gave her a glare. Risa was a bit frightened as one of the girls grabs her hair and pulls it up. She didn't yell for any help, she was trying to endure it. "Leyla is better than you big meanies!" she said as the girls got even more pissed off and kicked her on her stomach. "Ack!" she looked down and her hair was still being pulled.

"Excuse me, Ladies. I would kindly like it if you could move away from the girl." The voice that came from behind them belonged to an awfully tall man, he was wearing a heavy and dark coloured suit and his hair was combed back over his head. He didn't look older than Syrrus but indifference from the DeLaine boy, this man had piercing green eyes and a unforgiving look on his face. He had one hand in his pocket and the other rested on his hip.

The man had gone through the school, trying his hardest to find someone very important to him but failed doing that he had managed to get lost. Hearing raised voices he had decided to check what was going on and accidently walked into what seemed to be a petty fight. He didn't much care for any type of battles, no matter what kind and therefore decided to be the adult about it and end it.

The girls turned around and saw the man, who had that intimidating look. "W-whatever, she started it anyway, let's get the heck away from here girls." their main leader said and kicked Risa one last time before walking out of the room. Risa sits up and tries to fix her hair and puts her hand on her stomach, which it hurt. She looked up at the man, and flinched a bit when she saw the man's gaze on her. He looked rather worried about something and asked "Is something wrong mister?" she asked him bluntly.

Risa stood up and picked up her bag and held her bag in her arms while looking at the man's green eyes.

"Nothing is wrong." He said, looking at her, eyeing her up and down before continue. "I am simply looking for my Wife, she said she'd be here but I can't seem to find her." He muttered something about almost getting hit in the face by a guy with a violin when he asked for directions last time. He hated America, they were all so violent... At least that was their stereotype. What he had seen today only made it feel all the more true.

"Why were the girls picking on you?"

Risa looked down "T-they were actually talking bad things about a friend of mine... and I didn't like it one bit." she said "That friend of mine just came back from France, I just talked to her during lunch time too. She is a very dear friend..." she said and smiled. "And I told the girls to stop making fun of her as well, I didn't fought back but I just told them off, that's all..." she answered. Risa looked at the man who seemed to have muttered something.

"Leyla?" The man said, looking clearly confused. The British - for he was clearly english, couldn't help but smirk slightly. Of course it had to be Leyla, she was questionable after all. Perhaps it was someone else, but how many girls went to this exact school from France? It seemed highly unlikely. "That would be my wife."

The man, Edward, was his name, was a man from a old noble family in London. He had traveled to France for school, back when he was but a teen, where he had met his wife. OF course, he had no clue that she have had a love interest in America.

"Yes, Leyla." she said smiling at the man when she tried to process it in her mind when he just said. After a few moments of processing, her eyes widened apologized. "Aaah! I'm sorry! I didn't know, so you are Leyla's husband. "I'm an old friend of Leyla's, my name is Risa." she introduced herself to him and smiled shyly at the foreigner right in front of her.

"Leyla and I used to hang around together, but usually, she would just follow me around though...." she said and rubbed the back of her head and smiled "Your wife is a very nice woman, I swear she is." she said and smiled gently at him, looking like an angel.

"I'm Edward." He said, bowing before the young lady. "I was a bit worried that you were going to punch me for mentioning her name. It seems like the whole world has gone a tad insane as of later. You possibly can't tell me where I could find that silly girl? She forgot her phone back at the hotel."

It was then Syrrus showed up, looking sheepish and nervous. Of course his face turned into a frown when he noticed Edward. "Great." Twitching, Edward turned and peered at Syrrus. "Ah, the violent man with the Violin. Greetings and Salutations."

Risa was confused and asked "Hm? Why would I ever hit you? You're her husband after all, and it's not like me to do anything violent, or even hit a kitten, I'm not a violent type of person you know, haha." she said and giggled at the man. "Well, my class just finished awhile ago, and I'm not really sure where she is right now though." she said and apologized for not knowing where his wife is right now.

Hearing a familiar voice, she turned and saw Syrrus who was frowning. "Huh? Violent man with the violin?" she asked, not knowing how Syrrus know Edward.

Syrrus frowned, still, clearly not very happy with the man who supposedly was the husband of Leyla. He didn't like him at all in fact, but not because he had stolen Leyla from him, no not at all. It was because Edward was everything Syrrus was not. Rich, high standing, trust worthy. It could put anyone on edge, really. The young man looked away, feeling awfully bad for some reason.

"I suppose I simply have to continue looking then. IF you see her, please tell her to be back at the hotel before two? That would be very kind of you. She's awfully ditzy that woman." Edward smiled slightly, nodded, turned and left. Causing Syrrus to relax.

Risa nodded and watched Edward walk out of the classroom. She then turns to Syrrus and smiled at him. "Syrrus? Is something wrong? Did you get into a with that man?" she asked bluntly and was carrying her bag. "He just called you a violent man, why is that?" she added and waited for him to answer her question. She wasn't really sure on whats going on between him and Edward.

Syrrus followed the man with his gaze, until he could no longer see him. Then he returned to look at Risa who of course was going to ask what was going on. Granted, it was a very valid question and he understood very well why she had to ask it. Being call violent was hardly a good thing or something to be proud of. Syrrus scratched the back of his head, thinking to himself but then decided that it no longer mattered. Leyla was right. He would break Risa's hard sooner or later.

"Yes, I might have lost my cool, just a bit." He mumbled, still rather ashamed. He hated that man. Hated him for being so perfect, for being everything Syrrus wanted to be.

"Lost your cool? Did that man do something to you? What is it?" Risa wondered and wanted to help with his problems. "If there is something I can do, you can tell me, right, Syrrus?" she asked him and held his had gentle and gently tugged on his sleeve and looked up at him with her worried look. She somehow sensed something was wrong with Syrrus, he started to act strange. She tried to think about Syrrus' behavior, it all started just last night.

Did his attitude changed around her because, she suddenly confessed to him like that last night? She doesn't want to believe it and wanted to know what Syrrus think as well.

Syrrus looked down at Risa, she was so small and innocent. So adorable... He felt his heart melting and he pulled his arms around her, hugging her tight. Pressing her against his chest and hiding his face against her beautiful hair. "No, he didn't." Not really. In fact the man had done nothing against Syrrus, he didn't even know that the Syrrus existed. He felt his heart ache, painfully so. It was almost worse to hate someone that didn't know who you were. Strange.
